Good recommendation Delicious food...

All employees, including the boss, enjoy what they do. It comes across really well. The food came quickly, was plenty, and tasted very good. Were here for the first time. The next visit will be in peace and quiet, not followed by a visit to the cinema. We'd love to come back.

Cozy, pleasant atmosphere and good food. We particularly enjoyed the appetizers.

Small Greek restaurant in the city center. We ordered the octopus salad and some pita bread and zaziki on the side. We did like the salad but the bread and zaziki definitely stole the show. They were delicious. Next time we’ll definitely try the more traditional Greek dishes!

Very nice restaurant! A great atmosphere, the staff is very nice and relaxed and everything is modernly furnished. We were there when there were relatively few guests, so that may have played a role. But from the impression I can imagine it being just as pleasant in everything, even with a fuller house. The portions are more than OK and you'll feel full. I'd love to come back.

Unfortunately I'm disappointed overall. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The food is tasty, but nothing exceptional. What was really disappointing was the service: At first no one came to serve us for a long time. When it came to questions about drinks, the waitress was already overwhelmed. When the order came, one dish was missing. When asked, this was provided quickly, but unfortunately I was later charged twice for it, which unfortunately I only discovered when I got home. During the course of the evening we were not asked a second time if we would like something more to drink. Our empty glasses sat around for 20 minutes. Nice store but service is not good. Unfortunately, the ouzo on the house doesn't do anything.

They recommended it to us and we said we should visit it... congratulations I highly recommend it especially to all Greeks who visit the area!! Congratulations to the management and staff for the great love they showed us. Everyone is smiling!

I had a pita with gyros. The gyros were excellent, you could see straight away that they were grilled and sliced ​​on a skewer. I have never eaten such delicious gyros!

We haven't seen such motivated, attentive and friendly employees for a long time. You could ignore the long waiting time. Despite the full house, we kept asking whether everything was okay and whether we had any further wishes. The food was also excellent. Absolutely recommended! We'll be back

I recently visited the street food bar Nostos and overall I was very satisfied. The concept of offering Greek delicacies in tapas form is really great and ensures that you can try your way through a variety of dishes. The selection of food is impressive and the quality is excellent - this is definitely value for money. The service was friendly, even if we initially had to wait a little longer for our order to be taken. The food was served very quickly after ordering, which pleasantly surprised us. We only had to be patient again when paying. We also liked the ambience. Inside, the bar has a very modern design, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. It's okay on the outside - the chairs are a bit uncomfortable, but the overall design is nice and invites you to linger. Overall, a great experience that I would happily recommend!

Ambience is quite nice. The starters were quite tasty. But the main courses were catastrophic! The meat was still half raw and the fries were unsalted and not cooked through. Service staff informed us but gave no reaction.

I was with two girls, we came from Frankfurt am Main and Hungen and just went on a day trip to Giessen. At some point we got hungry and were curious and looked at NOSTOS and were thrilled. Nice service, super tasty food, prices totally okay. It was well attended by young and old. Everything is clean and tidy, very well maintained, so the ambience is great. We also asked every now and then if everything was OK. I have to say, I felt like I was on vacation in Greece for a while. All I can say is, go and see for yourself. Increasing dishes from €4.80 to €6.50 is quite cheeky! 0.2 liters of wine used to cost €7 and that was a rip off! Now 0.2 l costs €7.50. Last time the food was also bad and the tzatziki that we didn't order (we just wanted a small blob on the plate instead of the previous tartar sauce, which is apparently now being saved) was cheekily charged twice. Never again! Only for walk-in customers who like to be ripped off!

Very good and tasty (German)-Greek food. Classic, but at the same time alternative and modern with a tapas concept. Prompt and nice service. Very nice, tasteful Mediterranean-style interior. A pearl of Giessen city center!

A Pita Gyros to take away for €9.50 An absolute disgrace. For such a small portion.

The food was terribly bad n of a low quality . I ordered "Grilled Octopus"", what I received was a supermarket packet preserved Octopus that was simply fried. I ordered "Halvas" desert n I received again another ready made supermarket product that was sliced , which had nothing to do with Halvas n even did not have the ingredients that in the menu was written ( ex pistachio).

Unfortunately I didn't eat but just enjoyed a coffee. Nevertheless: a very attentive team. This is how I imagine service. Definitely have souflaki on your next visit.

Overall a very good restaurant. The service is very attentive and you are served very quickly and friendly. The menu offers a great and clear (not too large) selection of different dishes. Both the taste and the price-performance ratio are very good. The cozy and modern ambience also invites you to linger. Definitely worth a visit.

Our new favorite place in downtown Giessen. Moderately priced, nice and quick service and very, very tasty. Lots of seating outside and inside very stylish and chic.

The food tastes great and I can absolutely recommend it. One star is deducted for not being able to make a reservation and sometimes having to wait a long time.

My husband was just there (4:15 p.m.) and wanted to have a drink outside in the sun while waiting for me (shopping). He was sent off with the statement: you can only sit here if you “eat” something!! Went here to eat in the winter and were thrilled by the food, the ambience and also the staff. Maybe in an hour we would have eaten something today!!!!! But with such treatment because you “just” want something to drink, unfortunately that was the last time we were there! What a shame! Margaret

Simply great. The prices are mega and the portions are huge. I love eating there. The food tastes so divine and for €8.50 you get a fat gyro plate with Peterbread and fries. Five stars for me because it's really worth checking out. But it's not just the food that's good. You immediately feel at home in this great atmosphere. You walk in and it just smells good, like Greek food. The service is really good too, so check it out. My recommendation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful Greek restaurant in downtown Giessen. New, clean and modern. The staff was very quick and cheerful. The food came to the table after a record 10 minutes. A little more expensive, but definitely worth it. We'd love to come back!

Leckere griechische Speißen. Günstige Preise, große Portionen. Ouzo aufs Haus.

Interessant ist die Auswahl an griechischen Tapas und die sich daraus ergebenden Möglichkeiten zu vielen individuellen Kombinationen. Dazu gibt es einige größere Gerichte. Insgesamt guter Durchschnitt. Gerne nach einem Einkauf oder zu einem Mittagessen, aber eher wegen der guten Innenstadtlage und weniger wegen des Essens.

Just had pita with halloumi for takeout, it's really tasty, I like it. Will come back.

Endlich ein griechisches Restaurant in Gießen, was die orginale Esskultur der Griechen zelebriert. Große Auswahl an Mezedes / Tapas, leckeres Brot in einem tollen Ambiente. Sehr gemütlich. Der Service ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal.

Es hat sehr Spaß gemacht, hier zu Essen. Das Essen war saftig, und aromatisch gut zubereitet, sowie auch die Ambiente gab einem ein schönes griechisch, angenehmes Gefühl vermittelt. Danke für dieses Vergnügen.

Ganz tolle Mezé-Spezialitäten. Alles sehr schmackhaft, stilvoll serviert in einem sehr angenehmen Ambiente. Leider kann man keinen Tisch reservieren, ein Afterwork mit einer größeren Gruppe hat trotzdem super geklappt. Für Fans griechischer Küche und nicht nur für sie ein toller Tipp.
