Ambience and service good but otherwise a disappointment. The fish croquettes were incredible Slimy and not well made, an absolutely tiny portion for almost 11 euros, the aioli wasn't an aioli and the main course wasn't even salted or seasoned. Bland and boring and neither of us was nearly full. No recommendation

A very convincing restaurant! Absolute insider tip in Warstein and the surrounding area! Food really delicious and imaginative. Menu fish and vegetarian, Scandinavian cuisine. Some meat dishes. Price/performance very good and particularly appropriate, unfortunately a rarity today. Super nice host. He runs the place alone and is super relaxed.

Modern restaurant beautifully located in the city center with a view of the church. The food was not only beautifully presented, but also extremely tasty. Great plate language, salmon cooked to perfection! It wasn't a problem that we wanted to stop in in dirty hiking clothes and with two smelly dogs.

Hello everyone, We went there to eat at the lunch buffet and felt very comfortable. The food was just great, not standard like anywhere else and for a good price/performance ratio. It would be nice if the buffet wasn't on the counter so that even smaller people could help themselves. But that is also complaining at a high level. Will definitely come more often. The food was really delicious and a bit different from the standard you would find in the kebab shop around the corner or in the inn. Scandinavian cuisine partly reinterpreted. Very tasty prepared, great service and chic ambience. Gladly again.

We dined here on a Saturday evening. The ambience is simple but elegant. The choice of food is limited, but I don't think that's a bad thing either. First there was a culinary reception from the kitchen. Was delicious. Then, after about 20 minutes of waiting, our food arrived. This was the first disappointment because there was very little on the plate. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and that was exactly what was on my plate. No lettuce leaf or any other decoration. There were about 2 spoonfuls of mashed potatoes and a narrow slice of pan-fried salmon. The next disappointment: the food was lukewarm and without any taste. And that for over 20 euros!!! Proud Peis! For dessert there was Kaiserschmarren with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was a very small ball, really, and the Kaiserschmarren was also cold rather than warm. All in all: the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here. We were disappointed and will not be returning. It's a shame, because Warstein could really use some alternative restaurants.

Culinary trip around the world 😍 5 courses 5 seas I think the special evenings that Thomas organizes are great. There were 5 courses. with the greeting greetings from the kitchen. We were in India Indian Ocean Japan Pacific France Mediterranean Iceland Atlantic Greenland Arctic Ocean France was my favorite 🤗 But the other courses were also very tasty. Greenland was the dessert. I really liked the idea of ​​the shells. The other participants also looked very happy. 🥰 I really enjoy being at Nordwaerts 😋

Wunderbare moderne Küche in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Sehr netter Inhaber, der lebt was er tut. Das sieht und schmeckt man. Viel Erfolg auf dem weiteren Weg.

Das Lokal ist mal was ganz anderes gibt es nicht überall.Norwegisch/ Schwedisch/ Skandinavisch soweit ich weiß und das Verstanden habe.Somit total andere Küche finde ich wirklich gut.Und es war auch sehr lecker und anders im Geschmack was ich so kenne 😋 genau das was ich erwarte, wenn ich essen aus einem anderen Land bekomme.Ich sag dazu prima probiert es einfach mal aus!!

Absolut gemütlich. Man fühlt sich absolut willkommen und zuhause. Und das Essen schmeckt einfach nur hervorragend. Absolute herzensempfehlung!

Das Restaurant ist zentral gelegen und verfügt über eine schöne Terrasse. Die Speisekarte des Restaurants sollte abwechslungsreich sein, da die meisten Touristen auf der Suche nach etwas Leckerem und Bezahlbarem sind und man in anderen Restaurants oder Fast-Food-Lokalen in der Umgebung nur türkisches Essen finden kann.

Leckere Speisen und Gerichte aus dem skandinavischen Raum, kreativ zubereitet, in stilvollem Ambiente. Ein tolles Konzept – absolut empfehlenswert!

Erfrischend anderes Konzept und nicht die zehnte Pizzeria/Dönerbude. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut fair und der Service top. Ich wünsche den Besitzern, dass sie Erfolg haben und die andere Art von Küche Wertschätzung findet.

Jedes mal einen Besuch wert! Obwohl das Nordwaerts erst wenige Wochen geöffnet ist, habe ich es schon mehrfach besucht und konnte mich immer wieder aufs Neue von dem qualitativ hochwertigen, frischen und leckeren Essen überzeugen. Egal ob vegetarisch, mit Fisch oder Fleisch, für jeden ist etwas dabei. Die Zimtschecken werden leicht warm serviert und man bekommt sie in ganz Warstein nur hier. Auch Preislich absolut fair. Eine Bereicherung für die Diplohstrasse und Warstein!

Ich liebe die Nordische Küche und das Essen im Nordwärts trifft es genau .Super lecker und nettes Personal . :)

Update zum 2 Besuch. Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis könnte besser sein, die Portionen sind teilweise doch etwas klein. Netter Service, mal eine ganz andere Speisekarte als üblich dazu ein nettes Ambiente.

Guter Neustart mit diesem Konzept. Hier lohnt sich der Besuch.

Nettes Ambiente, freundliches Personal. Das Essen war qualitativ okay (befriedigend), die Portionsgrößen der Hauptspeisen waren allerdings maximal als Vorspeise geeignet. 5 kleine Garnelen mit 22 wirklich kleinen Pommes für 15,90€ waren wirklich eine herbe Enttäuschung. Die Portionsgrößen meiner Freunde waren - bei anderen ausgewählten Gerichten - ebenfalls äußerst minimalistisch. Insgesamt bleibt die Sorge, dass sich das Angebot in dieser Form so nicht etablieren wird, wenn hier nicht deutlich nachgebessert wird….

Zimtschnecken leider sehr trocken. Ich hoffe, das war eine absolute Ausnahme. Kakao aber sehr lecker. Ansonsten schönes Ambiente. Das Mittag- und Abendessen muss erst noch getestet werden.

Das Restaurant NordWaerts ist ein wunderbares Beispiel für die nordische Küche, die sowohl traditionelle als auch moderne Gerichte in einem stilvollen und gemütlichen Ambiente bietet. Als ich das Restaurant besuchte, war ich beeindruckt von der Aufmerksamkeit zum Detail in jedem Aspekt des Restaurants, von der Einrichtung bis zur Präsentation der Gerichte. Immer wieder gerne!
