Das Essen (Scholle mit Kartoffelsalat bzw. Pommes) war prima! Der Ton hinter den Tresen etwas rauh (Das Essen ist nicht mehr da, da steht doch: "hat geschmeckt". Muss man wissen, und das Schild könnte größer sein. Auch wenn Kunden etwas länger überlegen müssen, wird die Bedienung schnell mal ungeduldig. Aber, alles in allem zu empfehlen. Nachtrag Juni 2026. Mit Coupon in der Hand bestelle ich das Superfang-Meal. Exakt wie auf dem Coupon beschrieben. Pazifischer Seelachs und Seelachsfilet. Meine Tochter lässt sich noch einen Salat aufdrängen. Dazu je einen Softdrink. An der Kasse heißt es dann, nee, dafür gilt der Coupon nicht. ich wollte da jetzt nicht anfangen zu diskutieren, war aber sehr enttäuscht! Neue Bewertung: lieber bleiben lassen!

19:24 Uhr, hatte Hunger, habe mich auf Nordsee nach dem Einkaufen in der Schloßstrasse, wirklich sehr gefreut, eine Scholle mit Remouladensoße und Bratkartoffeln inkl. einem Getränk 14,99 € …ein fairer Preis finde ich…..Doch was ich hier erhalten habe war wirklich nicht mehr gut, die Scholle war hart, trocken, wird wohl eine ganze Weile in der Warmhaltetheke gelegen haben…!Leute…., so etwas verkauft man nicht mehr, auch wenn es kurz vor Feierabend ist. Wir waren immer gerne bei euch, es ist jetzt das zweite mal passiert, ich habe beim letzten Mal, ca 4 Wochen her, davon abgesehen mich zu beschweren, ich habe mich heute so darüber geärgert und musste meine Enttäuschung einfach kundtun…..dass habt ihr nicht gut gemacht, wieder in der Schlosstrasse!! Wir sind in allen anderen Nordsee Restaurants immer sehr zufrieden, obwohl der Arbeitsaufwand immer sehr hoch ist, schaffen es eure Kollegen, im Gegensatz zu euch uns eine gute Mahlzeit zu servieren. Schade, wirklich schade. Dass , hat der Name Nordsee nicht verdient. Ich habe mein Essen zurück gehen lassen. Mir war es sehr unangenehm das Essen auf die Theke zu stellen und der jungen Dame zu sagen, dass hier, werde ich nicht essen. sie hatte bestimmt einen langen anstrengenden Arbeitstag hinter sich, trotz alledem darf sowas nicht passieren. Mein Respekt vor euch Nordsee Mitarbeitern, jedoch hier hilft nur noch sich selbst einmal zu fragen, kann ich diese Ware noch anbieten.

Es gibt leider immer weniger Fischrestsurants, also das einzige Alternative ist die Nordsee. Bester Standort hilft allein nicht. Das Essen war früher gut, inzwischen sorry fast ungenießbar. Alle Gerichte abgestanden und übersalzen. Da helfen die Rabattaktionen auch wenig. Lieber ohne Rabattaktionen, dafür frisches Essen. Die Ambiente Null, okay, ist nun mal kein Sternenrestaurant. Das weiß jeder, der zu euch kommt. Dafür sollten die Tische und Stühle und insgesamt der Raum etwas hygienischer werden. Dann kommen mehr Gäste, denn wie gesagt, es gibt kaum noch Fischrestsurants, und das ist eure Chance. Meine Rezension ist mehr an den Pächter bzw. die Unternehmensleitung gerichtet. Es ist schade um den fast verloren gegangene Fischgenuss.

Das NORDSEE Berlin ist in der Schloßstr. 23, in 12163 Berlin gelegen. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine phantastische Lokalität. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gut und das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön. Unlängst habe ich dort ein Radeberger Pilsner getrunken und ein Seelachs verzehrt. Beides war sehr delicious. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, sozial kompetent und sehr wertvoll. Sehr empfehlenswert. Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich darf Ihnen großen Dank sagen, für Ihre schnelle Antwort. Nichts gibt mir mehr Kraft als die Tatsache, daß es noch Menschen gibt, die trotz ihrer beruflichen Verpflichtungen die Zeit finden, andere zu ermutigen und ihnen zu danken. Werden die Kartoffeln jetzt abgezählt?? Wie soll man davon satt werdet? Und das Fischfilet bestand hauptsächlich aus zäher Panade und schmeckte wie von gestern.

Mit den Locken die nette Mitarbeiterin die vor der Kasse stand bei den Backfischen wirklich super super beraten das Essen war top ich komm für sie gerne wieder:)

Unfreundliche Bedienung, nur bedingt frische Ware, ungepflegte verschmierte Tische, aber Essen schmeckt besser als es aussieht.

Ich komme regelmäßig hierher, weil ich das Fischessen wirklich mag. Leider sind die Portionen inzwischen sehr klein – teilweise nicht einmal ausreichend für ein Kind, besonders im Vergleich zum Preis, selbst bei Nutzung der App. Was mich jedoch am meisten stört, ist der Umgang des Personals mit den Gästen. Man wird beim Bestellen behandelt, als wäre man ein lästiger Bittsteller – der Umgang ist unfreundlich und überhaupt nicht angenehm. Ein Gefühl von Freundlichkeit oder Willkommen sein fehlt komplett. Jedes Mal sage ich mir, dass es mein letzter Besuch war, und trotzdem gebe ich dem Laden wieder eine Chance. Leider erlebe ich immer wieder die gleiche unfreundliche Art. Auch solche Situationen hinterlassen einen schlechten Eindruck. Einmal habe ich gesehen, wie vor dem Servieren meiner Beilage ein größeres Stück Kartoffel entfernt und durch ein kleineres ersetzt wurde – das wirkte ehrlich gesagt eher lächerlich und unverständlich. Normalerweise geht man doch davon aus, dass eine feste Anzahl an Kartoffelstücken pro Portion serviert wird, unabhängig von deren Größe. Genau deshalb war dieses Verhalten so seltsam und irritierend Außerdem habe ich den Eindruck, dass es einige Mitarbeiterinnen stört, wenn man die App nutzt, um einen besseren Preis zu bekommen. Sehr schade, denn das Essen ist eigentlich gut, aber der Service macht den Gesamteindruck kaputt.

Ich würde dieser Filiale am liebsten keinen einzigen Stern geben. Das Essen ist durchschnittlich – ich kann nicht sagen, dass es besonders lecker ist. Es ist einfach ein typisches Fast-Food-Restaurant. Was jedoch wirklich schlimm ist, ist das Personal. Es standen vier Personen hinter dem Tresen. Sie haben mich gesehen, aber trotzdem etwa fünf Minuten warten lassen. Als ich schließlich bedient wurde, geschah das mit einem unfreundlichen Gesichtsausdruck – fast so, als wäre ich jemand, der sich Essen holen will, ohne zu bezahlen. Ich erwarte keine Behandlung wie eine Königin, aber zumindest Danke sagen, Freundlichkeit und Respekt sollten selbstverständlich sein. Bitte trainieren Sie das gesamte Personal in dieser Filiale entsprechend.

Jedes Mal ist anderes Personal da, was keine Ahnung hat. Ältere Damen unfreundlich und faul. Essen ist super. Schade eigentlich

Ich halte Nordsee für etwas altbacken, aber das muss ja nicht schlecht sein. Hat so einen Cafeteria Charakter, wo man sich nicht ewig aufhalten mag. Das Essen ist durchweg frisch und gut, Bedienung mehrheitlich freundlich.

Der 11. Februar 2026 um 18:30 Uhr habe ich die Filiale besucht. Die Mitarbeiterin für den Mitnahmeverkauf inkompetent und unfreundlich. Auf die Bitte, Garnelen zu bekommen, die bereits ausverkauft waren, sagte sie. Wir frittieren keine frisch auf die Bitte, zwei Backfisch Brötchen zu bekommen. Die selbe Antwort und mit der Begründung, sie müsse das verkaufen, was in der Auslage ist. Allerdings sah man in der Auslage Brötchen vom Vormittag, die ungenießbar sein Kunde und König wird dort ganz kleingeschrieben nie wieder

Die Mitarbeiter, inklusive der Filialleiter, sind sehr, sehr unfreundlich. So unfreundlich, dass ich mich sogar vor meinem Kind mit dem Personal streiten musste. Nie, nie wieder. Leider ein Drecksladen. Während ich diese Bewertung abgebe, streitet sich dieselbe Frau schon wieder mit jemandem unfassbar. Wenn Nordsee intresse hat können die sich bei mir melden aber diesen Laden besuche ich nie wieder, so lange diese Menschen da arbeiten.

Bewährte Standardqualität zu inzwischen wirklich deftigen Preisen: Matjes-Brötchen 5,30€. Die spinnen die Römer … 😲

Heute besuchten wir das Nordsee in Steglitz. Das Ambiente entspricht dem einer Systemgastronomie: schlicht, aber nicht schäbig. Mit dem Tablett musste man vor der Ausgabe angeben, was man bestellen möchte. Wir entschieden uns für das Seelachsfilet mit Bratkartoffeln und Remoulade sowie für den Fang der Woche – gebackene Limanda aspera mit Bratkartoffeln und Remoulade. Zu allen Gerichten gab es ein kleines Stück Zitrone. Das Essen war insgesamt in Ordnung. Die Portionen der Beilagen empfand ich persönlich als etwas zu klein – sowohl die Soße als auch die Bratkartoffeln hätten ruhig etwas mehr sein können. Der Fisch hingegen war im Großen und Ganzen gut: die Panade schön knusprig und das Filet innen ebenfalls ordentlich. Verbesserungsbedarf sehe ebenfalls ich in der Kundenfreundlichkeit. Auf mich wirkten einige der erfahrenen bzw. älteren Mitarbeitenden eher lustlos, was sich in der Bedienung und den Wartezeiten widerspiegelte. Auch wir mussten etwas länger warten, bis wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten. Hier wäre ein interner, anonymer Test sinnvoll, um den Service objektiv zu überprüfen.

Gegen 14 Uhr Fischbrötchen bestellt. Leider nicht genießbar, Brötchen hart und eher alt. Fisch war für uns eher ekelhaft. Musste leider entsorgt werden. Nie wieder. Vielleicht sollte der Besitzer selbst mal dort „essen“.

Haben heute das erste Mal und letzte Mal bei der Nordsee gegessen. Wir hatten ein Backfisch Menü bestellt und einen kalten Backfisch erhalten. Auf Nachfrage wurden wir belehrt, dies bei der Bestellung nicht angegeben zu haben. Die eigene Werbung sugeriert jedoch diesen "heiss zu genießen". Wir genießen es nun woanders zu essen.

Leider nicht mehr, was es mal war. Sehr fettig, alles schmeckt gleich langweilig, Service nicht sehr freundlich. Schade!

Mitarbeiter war sehr unfreundlich. Ich kann verstehen das zu dem Zeitpunkt viel los war. Aber trotzdem sollte man zu einem Kunden freundlich sein!

Today, November 6, 2025, I stood in line for 25 minutes for a pre-fried fish and chips because the saleswoman thought she had to chat with everyone in the 10m queue.

Canteen food: loud, expensive, uncomfortable. Everything comes from the deep fryer or a warming tray.

Dear Nordsee, it used to be great with you. Unfortunately, it's over now. Here I am, wanting dill snacks at 6 p.m., unfortunately, all of them, and a lot of other things too. But there were still enough herring snacks with pepper left. I wanted to take those. But that didn't work, because they explained that they were already cleaning up, at 6 p.m., mind you, and that wouldn't work anymore. Instead of taking a box, sell the rest. Both the customer and Nordsee would have been happy. That's how you go under, dear Nordsee. I'm devastated :(((

We were very disappointed; the food was dripping with grease, and freshly prepared food looked anything but. The tables were sticky, just like the restroom floor. It's a shame what's become of the place; we used to enjoy eating here. But the service was good, and the staff were very friendly.

Unfortunately, we were treated very unfriendly! We weren't even given a second glance upon entering the empty restaurant. The employees sat right next to us for a chat. After we proactively announced that we would like to pick up a "too good to go" order, we were rudely told to wait half an hour, despite having already opened the code in the app, as the shop was still open. We have rarely been treated so dismissively. Our negative experience involved a woman in her mid-50s (chin-length, dark hair) who was working the late shift on October 11, 2025. The male employees seemed reserved towards her and were polite to us when packing the rolls.

No, the fries were terrible, you couldn't eat them because they were still raw and that was the second time

The large shrimp and potato box contained 4 shrimp. Yes, I'm not kidding. (The taste was great, though.) My girlfriend's smoked salmon wrap was at most half a wrap with 2 extremely unpleasant-smelling slices of smoked salmon... and she paid almost €6 for it. The portion sizes are truly, sorry to say, abysmal. The service was friendly.

We were there for lunch today. We chose plaice with remoulade sauce and fried potatoes. The fried potatoes could have been a bit crispier. The plaice and remoulade sauce were perfect and delicious. The price was great thanks to the 2 for 1 offer. Unfortunately, it was very noisy, like a train station concourse. The tables could use a more frequent wipe down.

Soggy fries and reheated fish. If you can't make fish and chips you're not a good fish place. Rude staff who refused to change it at first and then i had to assert my rights. Avoid this outlet at all costs.

It could be a bit quicker sometimes. It depends on who's serving you. Otherwise, delicious.

Saturday, January 11, 2025, we stopped in for a quick snack around 3:50 PM. Regarding the service: A waitress behind the counter was very unfriendly. She explained in a very annoyed tone that if you ordered a fish sandwich, you had to line up outside, even if you wanted to eat it there (it didn't matter that we also ordered a platter and fish and chips). The waitress at the window was somewhat overscheduled. She forgot to give us our ordered and paid drinks and was more negative-neutral than friendly. Regarding the shop: There were used trays lying around on the tables, and almost all of them hadn't been wiped clean or were poorly wiped – drink rims, food residue, and grease stains were visible. Very unappealing. The decor, however, was fine and modern. Regarding the food: The fried fish sandwich was okay, but cold (we should have figured that out beforehand). The slightly soft roll was tough, like a roll left in a bag for a day. The fish and chips portion for €6.50 consisted of a couple of fries and only three pieces of fish. The breading was more like fish sticks than batter. The plaice dish was okay, but the fried potatoes were super greasy and mushy, as if they had been fried in cold oil. The display Unfortunately, we didn't see the display until after our meal: Crusted sauces on the edges of the chafis (aluminum bowls), everything smeared, sauce ladles encrusted, dried-out shrimp skewers under the warming lamps, the breading on the warmed fish fillets frayed. The fresh salmon fillets looked old, dull, rough, and had an uncharacteristic color. I'll let the photos speak for themselves here. A terrible experience for us. Nordsee isn't what it was 10 years ago. We can't eat at this branch anymore, not just this chain. It's a shame, fish restaurants or stalls for a quick snack are unfortunately far too rare away from the sea.

I don't say much. I rarely complain, but I had a rock in my food. I've never experienced anything like it before. There was a rock in my fried fish sandwich. My little brother could have choked if he hadn't noticed it in time while chewing.

I've been to this store three times, and each time they had a bad handle on the process. Long waits, and no employee seemed to want to work. What a pity.

Why I had to wait in line outside the store to order a fish sandwich to eat in is beyond me. Outside of peak hours, I waited almost 15 minutes. The potato and shrimp box for 6.79 had exactly three shrimp.

Rude and unfriendly staff they just waste time

For 6.29, you get a box of cold, inedible fries with three pieces of fish. Those fries belong in the trash; they shouldn't be sold.

Unbelievable...You wait inside, get your turn, and are sent outside to order a Viking. You stand there, and no one comes to serve you...instead, everyone whirls around on random shelves. That's it for you!

No. The tables weren't cleaned, and the tabletops were sticky. There was only one person serving behind the counter. The food selection was limited. I can't recommend it.

I've visited this branch several times with my kids, and the experience has been mixed. On the positive side, meals like the Salmon Burger Deluxe, Backfisch-Baguette, and Mix-Box Groß are usually delicious and crispy — definitely some of our favorites. It's a shame the food was always delicious but the older employee was unfortunately very unfriendly and seemed stressed and overwhelmed and that happened several times.

Very disrespectful employees at the counter who are simply dissatisfied with their jobs, while the customers can't help it if they're dissatisfied with themselves and their work. It's a shame what Nordesee has become; customers at this store are simply dissatisfied with the way the salespeople treat customers.

I haven't gotten enough here for the money I have to spend now!! But 15 minutes of waiting with only 3 customers is definitely an ass 😂😂

The ambience, staff and menus at NORDSEEE have continually gotten worse over the years. The prices, on the other hand, were regularly increased significantly. This branch is particularly off-putting due to its unfriendly staff and dingy atmosphere. The food is a disaster.

That was my last visit or purchase at Nordsee today! I bought herring fillets and while they were being packed by an unfriendly salesman, I noticed the completely unkempt sales counter, with lots of leftover food, used disposable dishes and used napkins on the top. The restaurant area also looked disgustingly unkempt. After trying them at home, the matjes fillets immediately ended up in the trash can because they tasted disgusting and didn't smell good either. I gag just thinking about it... I can only advise you to avoid this store.

Not what it used to be. Everything overpriced. The fries are cold and the tartar sauce is also saved. A blob. Just sad.

The food is of very good quality at a very reasonable price. There is a great selection of drinks here and service is quick. Orders are put together precisely and delivered in a friendly manner, even in stressful situations for many customers. Don't forget: This is still a fast-food restaurant, and because of the good quality and the cheapest prices, it also attracts customers who don't have good table manners and sometimes leave their rubbish lying around (even that which doesn't come from the North Sea), which in the tourist season sometimes means that the staff can't clean up as quickly as some customers leave their things where they're sitting. Nevertheless, the quality and service are top, as is the price-performance ratio. Keep it up!

Tasty and quick: fish dishes with great side dishes.

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to complain about my visit to your branch today. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but satisfactory. First, I had to wait about seven minutes before I was even served, even though there were hardly any customers in front of me. Unfortunately, the employee who finally served me was very rude. I ordered a large portion of fries for €5.29. Unfortunately, the box was only about 40% full. When I spoke to the employee in a friendly manner, I asked him to refill the portion. His answer was that the portion was “full” and he was only allowed to serve 26 pieces. He even asked me to recount them if I didn't believe him, which I found to be disrespectful. In addition, the fries were very dry and hard, which also calls the quality of the product into question. I hope you take my feedback seriously and ensure that both the service and product quality are improved.

Such a beautiful location and so tasteless, crowded with tables, chairs and so noisy. Since the prices have almost doubled, North Sea is no longer so busy that you need tons of tables and chairs.

We went for dinner with my family today around 5:00 p.m. A place we come to from time to time. The two women in the back were extremely negative. and they were not friendly. I saw her take the order (fish) I had placed for my child out of the bag with her hands and throw it into the oven. That was very unhygienic. I didn't warn them because I knew that the two ladies were already in a very good mood. I waited for our food first, and finally I brought it up. They didn't accept it... One of the employees was middle-aged and wore a black shirt, the other one had a slight limp. Well, that's it for the future. Never go back.

The food really isn't worth it. Our baguette was served cold and the wait staff even emphasized that it couldn't be reheated. The fish and chips weren't what they used to be either. Aside from the chips and fries, the food really wasn't good. I can only agree with the previous comments; it feels like it's just become a fish snack bar. The service is a disaster anyway, totally unfriendly. The waiter at the front counter with the baguettes was totally unfriendly and didn't make any effort, and was really slow to boot. We scanned a coupon at the checkout, but it didn't work, but we didn't notice at first. The waiter didn't even bother to point it out to us. After looking at the screen, we noticed it and asked him about it. Then all we got from the waiter was a mumble. Totally not customer-focused and totally unfriendly. The staff in general were so bad-tempered and unfriendly that it affected the atmosphere in the shop; we just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. We won't be visiting this store or chain again. We've had the same experience several times and it keeps getting worse!

Snack quality at restaurant prices. For a dish for this price, I expect at least a fresh lettuce leaf. Service also at canteen level - unfriendly and indifferent.

Well, what can you say. The service person at the street shop was very nice. The prices are quite high and the snack food could be fresher. Even if there was a very large crowd at lunchtime, this was the personal feeling. No statements can be made regarding the freshness area.

The unfriendly Nordsee branch (Schlossstr. Steglitz) in Berlin

The Lady waiter of NORDSEE BERLIN Schlossstraße don’t have sense to talk with Uber & Lifrando couriers. She always angry with couriers & talking angry mood, we will never forget her

I come here occasionally for lunch and I have to say that the staff is always friendly. The food on offer is always fresh and there is hardly any waiting time.

Unfortunately, the second time at 4:45 p.m. in the store, I didn't receive any food as advertised. The kitchen closes and the shop closes at 6 p.m. Both times it was explained to me that four employees had reported sick at short notice. So for me a sad result on Schloß Straße. It is also not possible to call in advance. What a deal, underground. It's a shame, the employees can't help it.

!!! In about 2 months 4 times from 4.30 p.m. no plated meals available!!! Kitchen closed due to lack of staff!!! Drove there from Mariendorf for free!!!!

Although tasty, there were a lot of burnt fried potatoes and the portion was around a quarter of the menu

In the old days the organizational thought was completely different, everything was more fresh, the service was also nicer and I miss a man who was always dressed cool and who was the nicest man in the entire North Sea fish restaurant in Steglitz. We miss you very much. Nowadays there are fewer people, I guess because of employees, the employees always seem so stressed or there are too many interns and there are people standing in line for a very long time, which I don't like. Otherwise fish tastes quite good but not as good as old times.

Unfortunately, the North Sea has developed from a shop where you could buy fresh fish into a snack bar for fish sandwiches. Unfortunately, their quality has also deteriorated during my last visit on December 30th. The tuna sandwich tasted like sauce etc, but unfortunately not like fish at all. I'm not going there anymore.

Worst fish burgers I've ever tried...they make it not right away, but keep it a while before someone will buy... awful ban, old fish

Waited 10 minutes and then you can't heat it up for "time reasons"

I ordered 2x fish and chips. The fries were obviously of very poor quality - old, dry and sticky. Despite requests for fresh preparation, old fries were hidden under a few fresh ones. The saleswoman reacted unreasonably to the complaint and to my advice when ordering to only act according to requirements despite Nordsee's preparation guidelines. Overall a very disappointing experience, well below the expected NORDSEE standard. Not recommended.

It's okay . Clean and tidy as always. But the food is inedible. The fish and chips box for 6, something else with three pieces of fish, is pretty cheeky. The fries are cold and old. My fried fish tastes like nothing. So it was the last time I/we were there.

Ordered a fish & chips box today, and the employee with the short dark hair didn't even fill it half full, but only filled it to 1/3. I paid over 6 euros for this? impertinence. This is how you scare away customers

You're supposed to order outside in the cold, the food is ice cold and is sold like that. There really is no other way to describe frozen food.

The blandest, dreariest lunch I've ever had. Food is boring and expensive, service is poor, drinks are dripping, plates are spilled, tables are sticky, walls are covered in grease splatters. Oh dear and never again.

You can't serve customers any slower...now and then have a chat with your colleague and the customer has to wait!

Food was good, but the tables were all sticky, had to be cleaned every now and then. Now that I've been visiting again after a year, everything has become extremely expensive. Toilets are so dirty. Eating is still possible, just a little less on it. I don't eat here anymore.

Bad service and expensive. Either incompetent or unfriendly. North Sea will certainly be flooded with other competitors in the next few years It's a shame, I used to love being there...

Dirty, got the wrong food + it was only lukewarm + the shop is always dirty at lunchtime. Really a shame
