Good fish fast food restaurant.

Rude people are running this restaurant. Suggested to not go.

The ambience, staff and menus at NORDSEEE have continually gotten worse over the years. The prices, on the other hand, were regularly increased significantly. This branch is particularly off-putting due to its unfriendly staff and dingy atmosphere. The food is a disaster.

That was my last visit or purchase at Nordsee today! I bought herring fillets and while they were being packed by an unfriendly salesman, I noticed the completely unkempt sales counter, with lots of leftover food, used disposable dishes and used napkins on the top. The restaurant area also looked disgustingly unkempt. After trying them at home, the matjes fillets immediately ended up in the trash can because they tasted disgusting and didn't smell good either. I gag just thinking about it... I can only advise you to avoid this store.

Not what it used to be. Everything overpriced. The fries are cold and the tartar sauce is also saved. A blob. Just sad.

The food is of very good quality at a very reasonable price. There is a great selection of drinks here and service is quick. Orders are put together precisely and delivered in a friendly manner, even in stressful situations for many customers. Don't forget: This is still a fast-food restaurant, and because of the good quality and the cheapest prices, it also attracts customers who don't have good table manners and sometimes leave their rubbish lying around (even that which doesn't come from the North Sea), which in the tourist season sometimes means that the staff can't clean up as quickly as some customers leave their things where they're sitting. Nevertheless, the quality and service are top, as is the price-performance ratio. Keep it up!

Tasty and quick: fish dishes with great side dishes.

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to complain about my visit to your branch today. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but satisfactory. First, I had to wait about seven minutes before I was even served, even though there were hardly any customers in front of me. Unfortunately, the employee who finally served me was very rude. I ordered a large portion of fries for €5.29. Unfortunately, the box was only about 40% full. When I spoke to the employee in a friendly manner, I asked him to refill the portion. His answer was that the portion was “full” and he was only allowed to serve 26 pieces. He even asked me to recount them if I didn't believe him, which I found to be disrespectful. In addition, the fries were very dry and hard, which also calls the quality of the product into question. I hope you take my feedback seriously and ensure that both the service and product quality are improved.

Such a beautiful location and so tasteless, crowded with tables, chairs and so noisy. Since the prices have almost doubled, North Sea is no longer so busy that you need tons of tables and chairs.

We went for dinner with my family today around 5:00 p.m. A place we come to from time to time. The two women in the back were extremely negative. and they were not friendly. I saw her take the order (fish) I had placed for my child out of the bag with her hands and throw it into the oven. That was very unhygienic. I didn't warn them because I knew that the two ladies were already in a very good mood. I waited for our food first, and finally I brought it up. They didn't accept it... One of the employees was middle-aged and wore a black shirt, the other one had a slight limp. Well, that's it for the future. Never go back.

The food really isn't worth it. Our baguette was served cold and the wait staff even emphasized that it couldn't be reheated. The fish and chips weren't what they used to be either. Aside from the chips and fries, the food really wasn't good. I can only agree with the previous comments; it feels like it's just become a fish snack bar. The service is a disaster anyway, totally unfriendly. The waiter at the front counter with the baguettes was totally unfriendly and didn't make any effort, and was really slow to boot. We scanned a coupon at the checkout, but it didn't work, but we didn't notice at first. The waiter didn't even bother to point it out to us. After looking at the screen, we noticed it and asked him about it. Then all we got from the waiter was a mumble. Totally not customer-focused and totally unfriendly. The staff in general were so bad-tempered and unfriendly that it affected the atmosphere in the shop; we just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. We won't be visiting this store or chain again. We've had the same experience several times and it keeps getting worse!

Snack quality at restaurant prices. For a dish for this price, I expect at least a fresh lettuce leaf. Service also at canteen level - unfriendly and indifferent.

Well, what can you say. The service person at the street shop was very nice. The prices are quite high and the snack food could be fresher. Even if there was a very large crowd at lunchtime, this was the personal feeling. No statements can be made regarding the freshness area.

The Lady waiter of NORDSEE BERLIN Schlossstraße don’t have sense to talk with Uber & Lifrando couriers. She always angry with couriers & talking angry mood, we will never forget her

I come here occasionally for lunch and I have to say that the staff is always friendly. The food on offer is always fresh and there is hardly any waiting time.

Unfortunately, the second time at 4:45 p.m. in the store, I didn't receive any food as advertised. The kitchen closes and the shop closes at 6 p.m. Both times it was explained to me that four employees had reported sick at short notice. So for me a sad result on Schloß Straße. It is also not possible to call in advance. What a deal, underground. It's a shame, the employees can't help it.

!!! In about 2 months 4 times from 4.30 p.m. no plated meals available!!! Kitchen closed due to lack of staff!!! Drove there from Mariendorf for free!!!!

Dear North Sea, it was great with you. Unfortunately it's over now. That's where I stand and want dill bites at 6 p.m., unfortunately everyone does, and a lot of other things too. But! There are still herring snacks with pepper. Then I wanted to take it. But it didn't work, because the stupid lady explained that it would be cleaned up. At 6 p.m. and that would no longer be possible, instead of taking one box, selling the rest. The customer and the North Sea would have been happy. This is how you go under, dear North Sea. I'm shocked :(((

Unfortunately, the fish is quite oily but tasty

Sometimes all the employees have disappeared and as a customer you have to wait.

In the old days the organizational thought was completely different, everything was more fresh, the service was also nicer and I miss a man who was always dressed cool and who was the nicest man in the entire North Sea fish restaurant in Steglitz. We miss you very much. Nowadays there are fewer people, I guess because of employees, the employees always seem so stressed or there are too many interns and there are people standing in line for a very long time, which I don't like. Otherwise fish tastes quite good but not as good as old times.

Unfortunately, the North Sea has developed from a shop where you could buy fresh fish into a snack bar for fish sandwiches. Unfortunately, their quality has also deteriorated during my last visit on December 30th. The tuna sandwich tasted like sauce etc, but unfortunately not like fish at all. I'm not going there anymore.

Saturday, January 11th, 2025, around 3:50 p.m. there for a quick snack. About the service: A service person behind the counter was very unfriendly and explained in a very annoyed tone that if you order a fish sandwich you have to queue outside, even if you want to eat it on site (it didn't matter that we also ordered a plated meal and fish and chips). The conditions at the window were somewhat planned, they forgot to give us the drinks we ordered and paid for and were more negative-neutral than friendly. To load: There were used trays lying around on the tables and almost all of them had not been wiped or were poorly wiped - the edges of drinks and leftover food as well as grease stains were visible. Very unsavory. The furnishings, however, were fine and modern. To eat: The fried fish roll was okay, but cold (we could have figured it out beforehand). The slightly soft roll was but tough, Viennese rolls that you leave in a bag for a day. Fish and chips, portion for €6.5 were a few fries and only three pieces of fish. The breading was more like fish fingers than batter. The plaice dish was okay, but the fried potatoes were super greasy and mushy, as if they had been fried in cold oil. The display Unfortunately we only saw the display after dinner: Crusted sauces on the edges of the chafis (aluminum bowls), everything smeared, dippers after sauce crusted, dried shrimp skewers under the warming lamps, the breading of the warmed fish fillets tattered. The fresh salmon fillets looked old, were dull, rough and had an atypical color. Here I'll let the photos do the talking. An underground experience for us. The North Sea is no longer what it was 10 years ago. Not only can we eat at this branch but we can no longer eat at this chain in general. It's a shame, there are unfortunately far too few fish restaurants or stalls away from the lake for a little refreshment in between.

Waited 10 minutes and then you can't heat it up for "time reasons"

I ordered 2x fish and chips. The fries were obviously of very poor quality - old, dry and sticky. Despite requests for fresh preparation, old fries were hidden under a few fresh ones. The saleswoman reacted unreasonably to the complaint and to my advice when ordering to only act according to requirements despite Nordsee's preparation guidelines. Overall a very disappointing experience, well below the expected NORDSEE standard. Not recommended.

It's okay . Clean and tidy as always. But the food is inedible. The fish and chips box for 6, something else with three pieces of fish, is pretty cheeky. The fries are cold and old. My fried fish tastes like nothing. So it was the last time I/we were there.

You're supposed to order outside in the cold, the food is ice cold and is sold like that. There really is no other way to describe frozen food.

The blandest, dreariest lunch I've ever had. Food is boring and expensive, service is poor, drinks are dripping, plates are spilled, tables are sticky, walls are covered in grease splatters. Oh dear and never again.

You can't serve customers any slower...now and then have a chat with your colleague and the customer has to wait!

Food was good, but the tables were all sticky, had to be cleaned every now and then. Now that I've been visiting again after a year, everything has become extremely expensive. Toilets are so dirty. Eating is still possible, just a little less on it. I don't eat here anymore.

Mediocre experience – needs improvement I have mixed feelings after my visit to the North Sea Restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing: it was cold and dry, which really shouldn't happen given the prices. For the price I definitely expected something better. Additionally, the tables were sticky and clearly hadn't been cleaned thoroughly, which greatly affected the overall experience. However, I give it 3 stars because the selection of dishes is good and the location of the restaurant is convenient. With better cleanliness and fresher food, this restaurant could be much more convincing.

Too bad 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 I put the crown 👑 on the fried fish in the middle for being absolutely inedible - ice cold from the freezer - tastes subterranean, has nothing to do with 🐟 anymore - the only thing missing is that it is served unthawed 😡🤬😡 Save your money for the overpriced and inedible product and treat yourself to something really tasty 😕😉

I ordered some kind of fish with mushrooms on top. Why did I do that...Completely crusted mushroom breading that was completely crusted and entangled with the fish. Who knows how long the item has been waiting in the display for a stupid customer like me.

A quick visit to Berlin, something quick with fish,,,, I was disappointed with the potato salad but maybe that's how it works in the capital. It wasn't mine. Testing is above studying. OK as a snack.

We ordered food there at 6 p.m. and received completely fried and dried fish. It was obviously food that had been rotting in the warming counter since lunchtime and was then served to us. At full price, of course. What a shame, we'll never come back.

Unglaublich schlechter Service. Vorher online zum Essen reserviert. Essen war nicht fertig, wurde dann lieblos zusammen geworfen. Pommes eiskalt, falsche Getränke bekommen. Unglaubliche Zeitverschwendung. Nie wieder!!!

I ordered something again via Lieferando. Well, never again. The pollock fillet from the grill was dry underground and rock hard on the edge under the breading. The fried potatoes, as requested, a little brown, but greasy as usual. I could have spent this €17 better. It didn't taste like anything.

I tried to talk to the store manager about what I experienced with a saleswoman there. Well the branch manager is just as bad as his colleague. So when you buy fish, you should pay attention to your head. If the head is bad then the whole body is bad!

The service provided by the gentleman with white hair and glasses is excellent.

The staff is extremely helpful, but unfortunately also visibly understaffed. They do their best and meet customers who unfortunately don't realize what these employees do. One can only hope that the North Sea employer honors this, pays sensibly and takes care of increasing staff. The food is ok as ever.

We saved money on the shrimp potato box (large). You need two boxes to fill you up. The portions are getting smaller and smaller.

Yummy food, a little pricey for the portion size

The food itself is delicious. I ordered a mixed box (potatoes, fish, shrimp) but received a box with 95% only potatoes, which is completely different than what it looks like on the menu, which seemed relatively stingy to me.

I greeted the lady with a friendly “Good evening” and received a mumbled “MOOOMENT!” in return. After that, many other things were more important, so I ended up leaving without eating. Given the high prices, you can actually expect more. The frying pan opposite will be happy to show you how it's done.

Always friendly and delicious fish

Okay for a quick hunger pang, but not really anything more. The normal portion of potato wedges now costs just under 5 euros. The portion size is okay. As usual with North Sea, a dip is included. Unfortunately the potato wedges were no longer properly hot, unfortunately I was already sitting on the bus at this point (2 minutes after buying them).

If you want to spoil your meal, just come here: - Unfriendly service doesn't even say hello to their customers - Conversation only among themselves and unfocused on the food ordered as well as inadequate quality I would rather eat somewhere else or like it tastes best at home.

Das Essen ist gut, vielleicht ein bißchen teuer, wenn man früh am Tag kommt. Wer etwas später am Tag Hunger bekommt, geht sehr oft leer aus. Meist ist das Personal unterbesetzt und daher oftmals gereizt und unfreundlich.

ich möchte Ihnen hiermit von einem Vorfall berichten, der sich heute in Ihrem Restaurant ereignet hat. Vor meinen Augen wurde meine Frau von einer älteren Bedienung diskriminiert, nachdem wir drinne Platz genommen hatten und unsere Bestellung aufgeben wollten. Die unfreundliche Art der Bedienung führte letztendlich dazu, dass wir den Kauf abgebrochen haben und das Restaurant verlassen haben.

Gestern mit großem Appetit ins Nordsee-Restaurant, Scholle mit Bratkartoffeln u. extra Rosenkohl... Die Panade vom Fisch war unmöglich, die Scholle darin sehr dünn, sehr fad, alles sehr fettig! Bratkartoffeln genauso fad, Rosenkohl total zerkocht und matschig, undefinierbarer Geschmack des Ganzen!!! Ich bin wieder enttäuscht worden. Werde wohl nicht mehr hingehen! Beim letzten Mal ein Backfischbrötchen auf die Hand... trocken, geschmacklos, kein Frischegefühl gehabt, eher Pappe in Pappe mit einem Klecks Dip... das war doch mal viel besser zu einem besseren Preis!!!! Das Personal sehr freundlich! Danke zumindest dafür!

Vor Corona waren wir recht oft da...meist Tellergerichte gegessen (wenn man einen Platz bekommen hat) gab auch immer sehr attraktive Angebote .....Gastraum recht voll, Kundentoilette vorhanden, Selbstbedienungsrestaurant...das Schmutzgeschirr hat sich gefühlt bis zur Decke gestapelt 🫣🙄 lange Schlange an der Essensbestellung...das Essen wurde meist schnell zum Tisch gebracht, Personal war meist sehr freundlich und kundenorientiert.... sympathisch... Es gibt einen Gastraum mit eng beieinander stehenden Tischen und Nischen, draußen auch ein paar Plätze, einen kleinen Tresen mit Blick auf die Straße....drei Schlangen werden parallel bedient...Aussenfenster, Theke mit Fischwaren und Selbstbedienungsrestaurant Tellergerichte...alles ist ziemlich eng und gedrängt Jetzt gibt es viel Personal was noch nicht mal richtig deutsch spricht...die Coupons gibt es jetzt in der App...die leider nicht immer so funktioniert wie sie soll...? Oder hat das Personal damit die Bedienpobleme? Und oft ist das Personal sehr gestresst,...so dass ich das Gefühl habe auch immer eine Portion Stress mitzunehmen🤨 Preise haben schon sehr angezogen und teilweise ist -aufgrund Personalmangel?- nicht alles verfügbar

Bodenlose Wartezeiten. Ich habe 30 Minuten angestanden für ein Fischbrötchen.

Personal langsam versteht kein Deutsch richtig bei der Fenster Ausgabe.

Essen schmeckt nur etwas besser wie in einer Kantine, aber der Service ist gleich null. Die Angestellten sind sehr gestresst.

Es kann nicht sein das man 20min draußen steht. Der Laden ist voll. Und das Personal macht lölö lö . Es ist eine Frechheit das es teuer ist und dann noch kalt und nicht schmeckt. Frechheit Schade.

If you want to eat from the grill, you need to come around noon-afternoon because even though the branch closes at 20:00, grill is always closed very early. I don’t understand the point. I come at 18:00 and there is no fish to eat, just fresh fish and sandwiches!

Unfreundliches Personal, Alaska Seelach stand anscheinend zu lange, war sehr trocken und für die Kinder war die Fish und Chips Box zu kalt, dieser Laden ist auf keinen Fall empfehlenswert, war früher sehr gut besucht, schade eigentlich aber hier esse ich definitiv nicht nochmal mit meiner Familie !

Früher war es besser und leckerer. Bratkartoffeln waren weich und extra fettig, Der Fisch hatte mehr panade als Fisch 🐟 und eine Coke 2,49 für 0.3l ! Sorry das war das letzte mal das ich da essen war! In Hamburg gibt's ein Lokal was tausend mal besser ist, da fahre ich dann lieber hin!

Bestimmt werde ich immer wieder ein kehren, ist lecker und das Personal im allen Läden ist immer höflich und die Qualität ist gut.
