Great attentive service. The food is incredibly tasty and you feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, I live too far away, but would eat there more often. Top 👍 👍

On October 13th, 2024, the four of us visited your restaurant from 12:50 p.m. to around 4:00 p.m. and were looking forward to a nice dining experience together. Unfortunately, we found that the visit fell short of our expectations, although the food was very good after the initial corrections. We had the following orders in total: 8 Cola Zero, 1 iced latte, 1 tea, 1 espresso, 1 coffee, 4 ginger shots as well as Haarlem, 2x grilled country bread and the breakfast burger. Unfortunately, there were several misunderstandings and errors in the service, which made it difficult to enjoy the food together. Despite the request that it be served without pickle, the breakfast burger was not prepared as requested. The fries were also served with the wrong dip, and instead of 2x country bread we received 2x Haarlem - a mistake that the waitress made, but which disrupted the process. In addition, the extra mustard for the Haarlem was missing. What particularly disappointed us wasn't the fact that mistakes happen - that's human nature. But unfortunately no real effort was made to improve the dining experience despite the glitches. The waitress simply mentioned that we were “incredibly unlucky” and that there were too many small errors at the same time. However, instead of addressing the situation and, for example, waiving the ginger shots or a drink as a small gesture, they simply explained that this was “not bad enough” to offer something. The fact that we received a more expensive dip and were asked to keep it despite the extra cost, otherwise the order would have to be completely re-recorded, also left a bad taste in our mouths. In the end it's not about the €135 we paid for the meal or the tip we still politely gave. It's about the guest experience and how problems are handled. Your employee was friendly, but we simply lacked the willingness to actively address the deficiencies and make us feel like our well-being was the focus. I hope that you will accept my comments as constructive feedback, and I would be pleased if future guests in similar situations were more accommodating.

The two of us went there for breakfast and paid a total of around €60. The coffee alone was a disappointment. The food was okay, but the coffee was absolutely undrinkable. For this price I expect a lot more. We definitely won't be coming back.

Yes, I give it 3 stars, but a visit for us is no longer an option. The fries tasted like they had been in the deep fryer several times. Another dish was quite bland and could have had more flavor. You should also think about the tipping situation. Probably “outrageous” is the best word here.

Middle-class people who want to be seen here. Young, somewhat overwhelmed staff, I'm partly sorry. Creepy reception: people who were not white were not offered a seat. However, when someone came who seemed more into the restaurant's “taste,” she was immediately asked if she wanted to sit down. Amazement that we belong together. Behind the reception desk there is an Israel flag with the words “no ifs and buts”, whatever that means.

I dined there with a large group last year. The communication regarding the reservation beforehand worked well. Unfortunately we didn't like the food that much. Some hot dishes were served almost cold. There was also a mix-up with the orders, even though we had already given our dishes beforehand. When paying, most people gave a tip, even if we weren't really happy with the food or service. Nevertheless, we were expected to give more and we were indirectly asked to give at least 10%. In the end it was too stupid for me. I just gave them 10%, but I certainly won't be coming back. That's just audacious! In Germany there is no obligation to tip.

Everything is right here. Beautiful ambience with artistic impetus. Great food, friendly served. Very crowded on weekends, so reserve a little in advance! We always enjoy coming back for brunch. Crazy cakes!

The food is, with extreme good will, fine. But far from tasty. The prices are absolutely ridiculous, really ridiculous. €18 for a pastrami sandwich that's chewy enough to pull cars with is just audacious.

Atmosphere is very good - place looks well-designed and is spacious. The staff is very friendly. Portion sizes are good and the food is fresh. There were just some mix ups with our dishes (although we just ordered as described on the menu - no extras or so). The fries weren't good (cooked too short) and the coffees were okayish but the rest was quite good. Price is somewhat higher but fair for that quality. Would come back :) Edit: why do you ask if there is a special occasion while booking if there is nothing special (like a piece of cake for birthday person or so) to it?

We booked the group breakfast for over 10 people. The service was great, there were a lot of waiters around. The breakfast cake stands were beautifully presented, varied and there was something for everyone. I also really liked the ambience. However, I noticed two negative points: the second course of pancakes didn't even have a pancake for each person, so we ordered more with a surcharge. I thought that was a shame and I had imagined it differently. I was a little annoyed by the bottles of still water, which were obviously tap water, but were still charged for, I think, €5 per bottle. All in all, we had a very nice brunch.

The waffle was very large and tasted delicious. We also liked the drinks. Unfortunately there was no breakfast, even though the website/menu says it is available from 10am-4pm. So we had to resort to alternatives.

We were there to try something new and especially for coffee and cake. The latte tasted ok, but nothing special. And the cakes were just way too sweet for my wife and I. In itself a very cool location but a tad too loud, even if at the time less than 30% of the seats were occupied and, above all, no small children :-))). Service was good and there's really nothing to complain about. I can't say anything about the food.

Hiking for Bitterballen was my motto for May 1st. 20km there and then back again and the Nooij made it a perfect training lap. The bitterballen were great and as a huge Holland fan, just right. The sweet potato fries were also great. All in all a successful visit. Thank you for the little piece of Dutch in Düsseldorf 😘😘😘and the staff were also super friendly. Highly recommended 🥰🥰🥰

One of my favourite places to eat in Düsseldorf. The owners run this restaurant with heart, and makes sure that their staff shows this, too! Food is always delicious, cooked perfectly, and served within a reasonable amount of time. The cake selection is always to die for. Tip: if you can’t eat anymore, get the cake to go! If’ll be worth it. Go for brunch, coffee, or dinner, you’ll find something delicious to have at Nooij.

Really delicious chicken & waffles! I can absolutely recommend the “Chicken Institute” for brunch. The restaurant is great for a cozy brunch. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. Both small and large groups can eat well together here. I recommend making a reservation. The prices are higher here, but the chicken & waffles are totally worth it. The employees are also very nice! Unfortunately, the owner seemed less friendly to me. Nevertheless, I remember NOOIJ positively because they are very good at chicken!

Very modern and nice restaurant with many large tables. The many windows make it bright and friendly, but it also seems a bit cool. The service was excellent, very attentive and accommodating. I had a sandwich with fries. All the ingredients were fresh and the fries were so hot that I had to be patient. I can highly recommend the homemade iced tea.

It was OK. The place is super chic and the atmosphere is good. The food looks great but the taste is only run of the mill. My poached egg was hard boiled and the sauces were canned. The pancakes were thick waffles and had nothing to do with American pancakes. I also had to pay extra for a little more sauce. Oh well.

It's been a few weeks since my visit and after testing a few more breakfast restaurants, I can say the following: You can't complain about the quantity at all. However, I have to say that from my point of view it is simply nothing special (just a normal breakfast). I also find the spaces very narrow, so you have to constantly be careful not to knock anything over. Unfortunately I don't recommend it.

Absolutely amazing food, had a whole chicken super tasty. We had hoped that there would also be Dutch beer, but unfortunately there was Pilsner Urquell (also very tasty). The chicken skewers and the chicken burger were great. The service is extremely nice and extremely friendly and attentive. With the chicken, a damp cloth would be great afterwards, but napkins can also be used. Great shop highly recommended. One small negative point. The toilets were very unhygienic, which of course is not the fault of the restaurant but also the people who use it.

The food was quite tasty but at €16 for 2 slices of bread you would expect there to be 2 poached eggs and not just one. Also, the hollandaise was purchased and not homemade. The service wasn't always friendly.

Stylish atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food didn't really impress me. The Wiener Schnitzel wasn't particularly juicy and the cucumber salad was bland. The veggie burger was also quite bland. We let the toffee cake go back.

Food is actually average, a little better than a “typical German brunch cafe” but that’s it, also a little overpriced for the quality, but it’s just my personal opinion in comparison to what places I’ve been too. It is definitely a great place to meet for breakfast/lunch with a group of friends since they have lots of space (be alert to reserve a table). We were lucky to go on a day when the city was celebrating carnival, because it was quite empty, which is not normal. The food was not bad, but not delicious either, I ordered one of the Brioche with salmon and avocado, unfortunately it seemed that the pot of hollandaise sauce was turned upside down because the dish was really hollandaise sauce with bread and salmon. The texture of everything was too oily. The meat bitterballen were very delicious. The service staff was very attentive and helped us resolve any questions we had in a very friendly manner.

Nooji is the cutest Dutch deli I know! The ambience is a vibe, not too much but not too little either. But a highlight is the Oreo Cake!!! If you don't know him, you've really missed something.

Topic missed... What does this restaurant have to do with Dutch cuisine...? The fries are called Frietjes, there are Bitterballen and Chocomel. Otherwise nothing. Not even Heineken. Apart from that: the Geschnetzeltes were not sliced ​​meats, but rather a finger-thick steak that was also well-done. Then they should just say that there is no sliced ​​meat. An impudence. Neben dem leckeren Essen und dem Top Service ist auch die direkte angrenzende Lage zum Capitol erwähnenswert. Hier wird gut organisiert und gekocht!

War dort zu Besuch in Düsseldorf und dachte ich gehe auf diesen Restaurant muss echt sagen liebespersonal aber essen Qualität für den Preis überhaupt nicht ich habe einen Wiener Schnitzel bestellt mit sage und schreibe 45 € mit drum und herum also ich muss sagen bitte nachfragen was wenn ihr dort seid wie viel das kostet weil bei die Speisekarten steht kein Geld aber danach kommt die böse Überraschung

Waren zum Brunch dort, die Location an sich ist ganz cool und der Andrang war auch riesig. Ohne Reservierung keine Chance hier am Wochenende einen Platz zu bekommen. (Kleiner Minuspunkt ist die Lautstärke und dass die Tische dort sehr nahe beieinander stehen.. unser war direkt an den Nachbarstisch gerückt und eine Plexiglasscheibe diente als Trennung.. Essen war auch gut und schön angerichtet, meiner Meinung nach sind die Speisen aber alle etwas zu teuer. Wir haben für 2 Personen mit Trinkgeld knapp 75€ gezahlt und hatten beide nur ein Gericht (ohne Beilagen) und uns einen Nachtisch geteilt.. Das finde ich jetzt im Nachhinein für "mal eben" brunchen gehen und für das Gebotene etwas viel. Kann aber trotzdem empfehlen den Laden mal auszuprobieren.
