Nonne & Zwerg in Berlin

Versteckt abseits der Hauptstraßen liegt Nonne & Zwerg, ein wunderbarer Ort für feine griechische Küche. Martha ist eine außergewöhnliche Köchin und bietet zusammen mit ihrem Team ein außergewöhnliches kulinarisches Erlebnis. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Dieses Restaurant gehört zu meinen Lieblingsrestaurants in Berlin. Köstliches Essen, hervorragender Service. Das Olivenöl ist ein Traum. Die Orangenwurst von Mani ist sehr lecker. Es ist ein eher kleines Restaurant – ich empfehle eine Tischreservierung –, aber Sie können es auch spontan versuchen. Es hat ein charmantes Ambiente, einen ruhigen, kerzenbeleuchteten Innenraum und eine kleine Terrasse mit Holztischen. Ich war in den letzten sechs Jahren mehrmals dort und war jedes Mal vom Essen und dem Personal begeistert.

Mindestens der beste Ort zum Essen zwischen London und St. Petersburg.

Es ist einfach lecker. Für ein Grieche auch ungewöhnlich manche Speisen .Es wird Wert gelegt auf regional und Bio.

Ein gemütliches Plätzchen mit ein paar Tischen auf dem Bürgersteig. Dolma hatte keinen Erfolg, der Rest war in Ordnung.

Essen: Das Brot war in Ordnung. Als Vorspeise hatte ich Melitzanosalat, der jedoch ziemlich geschmacklos war; die Soße war zu intensiv und hat das nicht wirklich ausgeglichen. Als Hauptgericht hatte ich das Lammfilet: gut zubereitet, aber die Portion war klein und die Beilage (Salat) sehr einfach. Das Bacalaofilet war gut paniert, aber ebenfalls eher fade im Geschmack. Das Kartoffelpüree, das angeblich Knoblauch enthalten sollte, schmeckte fast nur nach Knoblauch. Der Hausrotwein war in Ordnung. Insgesamt wirkt es eher wie ein Ort zum Weintrinken als zum Essen. Service: Das Essen hat fast eine Stunde gedauert, was ziemlich lang ist. Das Personal war aber durchgehend freundlich. Atmosphäre: Der Außenbereich ist angenehm, in einer ruhigen Straße mit wenig Verkehr. Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind bequem, auch wenn sie keine Rückenlehne haben.

Ich verstehe nicht, warum dieses Restaurant nicht mindestens eine Michelin-Empfehlung hat. Das Essen war zwar rustikal, aber von hervorragendem Geschmack und erstklassiger Qualität.

Diesmal bin ich zum sechsten Mal hier, und jedes Mal war es einfach fantastisch. Als Grieche ist es im Ausland nicht leicht, authentische Restaurants zu finden, aber Nonne & Zwerg fühlt sich wie ein zweites Zuhause an. Tolle Atmosphäre, die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und schon seit vielen Jahren dort, und auch der griechische Besitzer ist sehr herzlich und einladend. Das Essen ist einfach unglaublich. Man kann nichts falsch machen, und die meisten Gerichte sind traditionell, genau wie in Griechenland. Die Mitarbeiter helfen Ihnen gerne bei der Auswahl. Mein Favorit sind frittierte Sardellen und Dakos. Ich würde das jeden Tag essen, wenn das Restaurant nicht eine Stunde von meiner Wohnung entfernt wäre. Unbedingt den Nachtisch probieren, sonst verpasst ihr was!

War hier zum erstenmal essen, es war sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist sehr einfach, aber man fühlt sich hier rundum wohl. Ich komme wieder.

Authentische griechische Küche mit ausgefallenen Speisen von hoher Qualität. Wir waren sehr begeistert und werden bestimmt nochmal hin gehen.

Das Essen ist lecker, qualitativ höher als der Durchschnitt in Berlin und Mal eine personalisierte Speisekarte. Tolle Bedienung und nette Atmosphäre. Man merkt, dass man es mit ganz viel Leidenschaft und Professionalität macht. Leider nur ein bisschen kalt 😉

From the outside, it's quite unassuming, but the friendliness and quality of the food are absolutely top-notch. Yes, "Nun & Dwarf" can definitely be called a hidden gem. Anyone who has eaten here will come back – guaranteed.

A very nice place with a reinterpretation of Greek cuisine, or rather, Mediterranean cuisine in general. They don't offer all the typical Greek dishes, but the food is excellent. The staff were helpful and patient; there were about ten of us, and it was noisy and confusing :) P.S. The banana cake was sublime!

It's nice when you go there and the store isn't open anymore. "We're on vacation" is written on the sign, which is hard to read. Nothing listed online, but it says "open." A half-hour drive there for nothing, great.

I was here twice this week – fresh from the Prinzenbad. As a Düsseldorfer, I'm used to good Greek restaurants. It's a bit more difficult in Berlin. But Nonne & Zwerg is very good. Simple and authentic dishes that taste good and arrive quickly. Good house wine and pleasant, friendly service. I'll be back!

🌿 Small kitchen, big heart! I visited this charming little restaurant for lunch today and I was absolutely thrilled. The daily menu is handwritten, lovingly designed, and offers a fantastic selection of freshly prepared dishes – from vegetarian lasagna to hearty meatballs in tomato sauce. I chose the green balls with rice, tomato sauce, and salad – super delicious, homemade, and seasoned with fresh herbs. It was served with crusty bread and a crisp, fresh salad with a small radish as a centerpiece. You can immediately tell: The food is cooked with love. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service friendly and unobtrusive. A real insider tip for your lunch break – I'll definitely be back!

Pleasant atmosphere thanks to a very friendly owner who works there himself and has a friendly relationship with his staff. They also offer a reasonably priced lunch menu (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), which is served promptly. (Perhaps the only drawback: besides beans and potatoes, béchamel sauce is the main source of protein in the vegetarian dishes. I'm not a fan of béchamel sauce... Tofu, soy, etc., probably don't integrate well into Greek cuisine.)

I can only recommend it. Very tasty food, the service was friendly and attentive. I find the atmosphere neither overloaded nor too minimalistic. I would reserve in advance, especially on the weekend.

Best Greek restaurant in Berlin. Everything was delicious and made well, with obviously fresh and quality ingredients, the staff were lovely and the restaurant itself is relaxed and spacious. Will 100 per cent be going back!

Very nice staff, delicious food, the wine incredible and even more delicious the cakes. Fresher than the definition of fresh ever. Recommended! Even though we didn't book, we were still able to eat at the counter. The owner made our stay there really comfortable!

All of our dishes were tasty and attractively presented. The focus is on taste and not on as much meat as possible. The room alone is very loud due to the smooth walls when it is full.

In addition to the drinks, we had two main courses plus a side dish and a salad, everything was extremely tasty, we hadn't experienced that in a long time. The second time we were there, about two weeks later, we ordered exactly the same thing. There wasn't anything that you couldn't eat, but unfortunately it was just ok, nothing special in terms of taste. None of it was anywhere near as tasty as the first time and the salad was only half the size, so pretty small for 12 euros. Of course we were a little disappointed, but you can sit there very comfortably.

Simple home cooking in a family style restaurant, no frills but flavours are authentic and bring back best of Greece. Slow cooked lamb rack is my personal favourite after visiting few times.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this cute restaurant fully deserves it. The service is open, humane, transparent and you can see the love in the meals provided. I've been here several times now and have never been disappointed. The ingredients are fresh, cooked when ordered and the price-performance ratio is right. Be sure to reserve on the weekend!

This is how service should always be. In addition, you always have a family atmosphere here and feel like you are in good hands. The staff take their time, the food is great and the overall service is great. Was here at lunchtime and ate outside. Nice selection of dishes, friendly staff and the weekly lunch menu comes in a small booklet with the current dishes handwritten, which I found very appealing!

Really lovely neighborhood restaurant. The menu has so many interesting options, including an array of specials. There's something for everyone. The dishes are nicely presented and made with fresh, delicious ingredients. Prices are appropriate for the quality and quantity of the food (portions are very generous!). I didn't drink any wine but the wine list was interesting and varied. I'm taking one star off because the service, while very kind, was pretty slow.

Great modern Greek restaurant in Mittenwalder Straße in Kreuzberg 61. The restaurant is quite small so make sure you book your table in advance. Especially in the cold season when they have less seating. We had great grilled octopus as well as sardines. Both were delicious. Service was great as well. Prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to my next visit

Attracted by the many positive reviews we chose to dine in this Greek restaurant. A good choice considering the quality of the dishes we chose, the portions, the kindness of the waiters and the atmosphere of the place. We chose the Greek wine Malagutzia to accompany the dishes, very good. We ate outside and had a very good time. I advise!

The food was very tasty although the portion could have been a little larger. I probably should have treated myself to an appetizer with it. The selection of drinks (beer and wine) is quite good and not necessarily mainstream. The ambience is good and the staff was very friendly. This was an insider tip from my local aunt and we didn't regret it.

Random visit on the way from the Jewish Museum to the subway station. Just went in, ordered a very good and cheap lunch and left satisfied. Friendly, authentic service and even the ingredients came directly from Greece: a Greek truck happened to be unloading in front of the restaurant.

Finally one of the rare restaurants that combines traditional Mediterranean cuisine with transformative meal culture. Great vegetable, fish and meat dishes - and everything in terms of drinks. Also very important: places outside and inside and very nice staff!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough - I close my eyes , and the smells and the tastes are authentically Greek. Staff are attentive, house wines are lovely. I think it's getting busier as the good word spreads. We don't have restaurants like this in Glen Waverley, no sir!
