NOAH'S Altstadt - modern italienisch in München

After a good recommendation, I was somewhat disappointed. An appetizer was ordered... but never delivered. The pasta dish arrived first... and as soon as that person finished, the remaining pizzas were served 5 minutes later. Normally, I expect all dishes from a table to be served at roughly the same time. After repeatedly pointing out that the appetizer hadn't arrived, it still didn't come even after a long wait... (I then canceled the order). Furthermore: the pizza was served on parchment paper... parchment paper gets soggy, and you have to be careful not to eat it when cutting the pizza. Overall, it was okay, but there are definitely better options.

We ordered lasagna and pizza lunghi. The amount of ground beef in the lasagna was very small, and the béchamel sauce was also below expectations, resulting in a dry lasagna. Because of the small amount of ground beef, you could only taste the tomato and pasta. The pizza dough was good, but a bit salty. The tomato sauce on the pizza was so overpowering that you couldn't taste anything else. The service was slow. The staff were friendly.

We ate there for the first time yesterday and, unfortunately, weren't really impressed. The pizzas tasted okay, but they weren't 10/10. It was a bit annoying that they were served on parchment paper, which became soggy over time – unnecessary and rather unappetizing, in my opinion. The appetizers (potato soup and bruschetta) were only average. The bruschetta consisted of plain white bread with a lot of balsamic glaze, which wasn't very convincing. The service was unfortunately the biggest drawback: • The appetizer plates were left on the table for a very long time and were only hastily cleared away when the main courses arrived. • When the appetizers arrived, there was no cutlery on the table. • We were initially given English menus and had to ask for German ones ourselves. • When the main courses were served, we were asked if we wanted garlic or spicy oil for the pizza – it wasn't brought until we asked again. • • Our drinks ran out at one point without anyone asking if we wanted more. In conclusion: The pizzas are okay, the appetizers not so much. The service definitely needs improvement. Overall, it wasn't a very satisfying experience.

The restaurant impresses with a well-balanced menu and reliable preparation. The pizza is consistently high quality, and the service is attentive. Overall, it earns a four-star rating. I'll be back! 😋😋

We spontaneously went to Noah's one evening, feeling hungry, and were very happy that the pizza was prepared so quickly and was delicious! The crust was crispy and thin, and the pizza was topped with plenty of fresh ingredients. The staff were also attentive and super friendly. We would definitely come back!

Unfortunately, disappointing. We waited over an hour for our breakfast. I don't quite understand that. None of these dishes take long to prepare. The croissant was unfortunately dry/stale. The Camembert was missing – but they forgot to communicate this. One egg was delivered almost raw – meaning the egg white was clear – in other words, raw. The soft-boiled egg at our neighboring table was also delivered mostly raw. It was, of course, sent back, but even after the third attempt, it didn't improve. After this experience, we sent back the raw egg and asked for a fried egg. It could have been a bit firmer. There was a hair in the second fried egg at the table. We also sent that back. Of course, we didn't pay for it, and we didn't want a replacement. After the whole experience, it would have actually been nice to have been offered the hot drinks on the house as an apology...

Walking around the center of Munich, we were hungry and found a very nice place with Italian cuisine. And what Italian cuisine 🍝without German beer 🍻. We had a nice and tasty time.

Super delicious pizza with generous toppings. I've rarely had such a delicious pizza. It's a cozy spot on a square in the city center.

I had the ravillo with truffles, everything was fine, only the ravillos still needed to be cooked because they were raw. My friend who had the carbonara had too much of the egg flavor and it was crusty. The Noah bowl was excellent, the taglioni al pesto di broccoli were ok.

Very friendly staff, and the food was simply amazing. The portions were just right—not too much (so luckily there's still a little room left for the tiramisu), but not too little.

Unfortunately, we were very dissatisfied with our visit. Upon entering, the employee rudely told us to just sit anywhere – not a friendly welcome. During our visit, the level of attention was generally lacking. After our meal, we were pressured to pay quickly and leave, which further dampened the mood. When I wanted to take the remaining pizza, it was simply wrapped in aluminum foil, without a bag. Only after asking did I receive a pizza box – but even then, rather reluctantly. Overall, we felt neither welcome nor well looked after. It's a shame, as we had hoped for a more pleasant evening.

Unfortunately, I can't give a positive review. The pizza was poorly made and tasted almost like a store-bought pizza. The bruschetta was served on dry bread with raw onions and cheese – neither of which was listed on the menu (I'm vegan, so I wouldn't have ordered the bruschetta). Service was okay. Edit: The restaurant has filed a Google request to remove my review, citing defamation. So, beware, real reviews are being removed by the restaurant owner. I've attached a photo as proof of my visit.

The pizzas are nice, but offering sauces like olive oil infused with garlic or chili would enhance the flavor even more. However, the service could be improved — the waiter with glasses came across as unwelcoming and could benefit from engaging more with customers. In the restaurant business, hospitality is just as important as the food itself.

We got two pizzas and a bowl. It was an overall tasteless experience - however the pizzas were better than the bowl. The food was served at different times. The toilets were clogged and unusable. The waiter was nice.

It was a nice experience. We ordered penne arrabbiata pasta. I expected it to be spicy, but we ordered it without spicy, and margherita pizza. Everything was delicious.

It's one of those nights, raining but warm and craving for some comfort food ideally something earthy and yummy. Of course Italian is always a good choice. We weren't looking for Noah's but Columbian yet couldn't get a table. So as we stumbled around Noah came to the rescue.. I'm glad it did as the restaurant '''s cuisine and its flavours, are simple but true to their tradition. The mixed seafood salad surprised me the most. Doing octopus correctly takes skills. It wasn't chewy but had a bite yet was tender. The dressing was simple olive oil and some vinegar but it brought out the true flavor of the seafood. Very tasty and very light. The bruschetta is always a nice but welcomed appetizer and the pizza, especially the crust was right on point. Crusty chewy yet soft and enhancing the flavours of the toppings. Loved it Thank you

We ate pasta and pizza late one night. The pizza (salame) was excellent and my traveling companions were also happy with their pasta. The staff was nice but unfortunately they played some rather annoying music very loudly, which made conversation difficult. The food was ok priced but soda and water were ridiculously expensive.

At this pizzeria, you can expect friendly staff and traditional Italian pizza. The quality of the pizzas is top-notch. A pizza uses few ingredients, but each one is of high quality. The setting is somewhat hidden and away from busy streets, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The only negative points I can say are that the drinks are slightly above average in price, and the bruschetta was unfortunately slightly below average in quality. I recommend this restaurant for its high-quality pizzas.

Noah isn't what it used to be. The salads weren't fresh, the balsamic sauce was disgusting, and the amount was ridiculous for the high price. The Aperol Spritz was also poorly mixed. One star is only for the beef carpaccio, even though it didn't come with truffles! Outrageous.

We were there for lunch while sightseeing. We weren't expecting much in the city center. The service was friendly and patient. I was there with two Asians, to whom I had to explain what was on offer. The Pissa Diavole wasn't as good as expected, but with half a bottle of chili oil, it was still delicious. The other two pizzas were good; the crust was crispy and, thanks to the metal pan, stayed warm for a long time. There were also a few regulars there, which also speaks volumes about the place.

Pizza is okay, but the pasta is rather poor value for money. Portions are too small, and how much do pasta cost? The carbonara with a slice of fried bacon may be "original," but it doesn't fit the bill. You have to order a bit of bread and Parmesan cheese separately. The mixed salad had too much canned corn. The red wine was sour, so I returned it. It's more of a tourist trap, given the location.

Cozy place a little outside the hustle and bustle of Munich's main streets, pizza with a taste of Italy and nice service. Both Margerita, Salame and Diavola are recommended (the food was ready in 10 minutes) 👍

We discovered it by chance while strolling through town, and the aroma of freshly baked pizza hanging over the small square caught our attention. That evening, we went straight to dinner, pizza, of course, including an appetizer...really delicious...and wine, what more could you want? We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Munich...

Unfortunately, it wasn't a perfect evening – not convincing for us. We tried the restaurant because the reviews were very promising. However, our impression was significantly different from what we expected. Upon entering, we immediately noticed that the entrance area didn't look particularly well-maintained – among other things, there were old leaves lying around. The interior also made a rather unloved impression. The service was competent, but very distant – you felt more tolerated than welcomed. A small request to change a pizza was ignored at all. The pasta (carbonara) wasn't our cup of tea, and the salad was more like a convenience mix. The grissini with dips deserves special mention – it was actually delicious. Overall, however, we weren't impressed by the experience, and we currently see no reason to return. We also noticed that some less than enthusiastic feedback doesn't seem to stay online permanently. This is something to be aware of when relying on reviews.

I had already written a review that is apparently no longer visible - a shame, because opinions should remain diverse and I hope that's not what creates the hype here... Unfortunately, my second impression was also super disappointing: I found the food to be below average, the service seemed inattentive and seemed very unhelpful to me, and the restaurant was not well maintained when I visited. I can't understand the hype.

Very great atmosphere with my wife and my 4 kids. The food on the terrace was beautiful. Online reservation worked great. The service staff were super friendly and very understanding towards my kids.
