I've eaten at a few Greek restaurants. This one embodies the Cologne cheerfulness with extremely good Greek food. I really enjoy coming here with friends and eating on site or taking food away. Depending on how crowded it is at the time. The only criticism: you can't pay by card, you have to do it either with cash or PayPal. Using PayPal was unusual for me the first time and took a while, but that's not a problem in itself.

Delicious: Tzatziki, stuffed grape leaves, feta with honey & sesame

Today, after half a year, I got something there twice to see if anything had changed. Unfortunately I have to say no. I got the complete gyros. The food was tasty but the portion was very small. Lots of coleslaw and fries but very little meat. For the money the portions should be larger. Sorry, but you can get more for the price elsewhere. I

The food was extremely good, with very fresh and crispy fries, like nowhere else in Porz. The gyro meat was very seasoned, very fresh and juicy. The ambience is okay, unfortunately the shop is very cold (room temperature).

It was my first time ordering here and I was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered with UberEats and the delivery arrived super fast within just 20 minutes and everything was hot and fresh. The currywurst fries were very tasty and the fries were still hot and golden crispy. The Gyros Pita was also hot and lovingly prepared and super tasty. Clean shop, friendly staff and highly recommended Güros

Would give the Hercules sandwich an 8.5 out of 10 as the meat was a bit soft and so was the bread - the meat could have stayed on the grill for 5 minutes longer. In my opinion you should use a crustier bread. There shouldn't be mustard in the sandwich either, as it changes the taste too much from the traditional one. It's my subjective opinion, so some people may like it. The Kotopoulo, on the other hand, was absolutely amazing. Delicious crispy pita bread with seasoned grilled chicken, tzatziki, tomatoes and fries. That was to the point. I will order this often as you can hardly find a taste like this with this combination in Porz. Delivery time was on time and the delivery person was also very friendly. Overall rating 9.5 out of 10, clear recommendation!!!

This was the first time ordering from Nikos Grill and i was extremely satisfied. The quality , taste and portions are exactly what you would expect from a top Grill store back in Greece. If the store owner manages to maintain these standards, there is literally reason for me to order from somewhere else except Nikos Grill.

I had the pleasure of ordering from Nikos Grill today and all I can say is that it was an excellent experience! From the quick pickup to the quality of the food, everything was simply top. The food was freshly prepared and you could really taste that they cook with love and passion. I tried different dishes and every single one was a culinary delight. I was particularly impressed by the Feta Saganaki and the Hand-Rolled Pita - the flavors were intense and the ingredients were of the best quality. The pickup was also very uncomplicated and quick. I was able to organize my meal without any problems and didn't have to wait long. The ambience of the restaurant also looked inviting, so I can easily imagine dining there sometime. Overall, I can only warmly recommend Nikos Grill. If you love Greek cuisine and are looking for fresh, delicious dishes, you will definitely find what you are looking for here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Nikos Grill surprised me above all with the friendliness of the employees. The service was really good and the food was delicious too. However, I didn't have anything "elaborate"... curry sausage, fries with Schachlik sauce and mayo... a masterpiece of culinary art was certainly not necessary here. What was noticeable is the fact that there was NO COLA to buy... I was there pretty much first thing on Sunday afternoon around 12:15 p.m. and the snack bar had just opened and if there was already no Coke... hmm. ..unfortunately not so good. The snack bar was very clean, well-kept tables and, especially at Christmas time, beautifully set with little Christmas things, not exaggerated...but you could tell that it was Christmas time. Well...what does a snack have to do with Christmas???...sure...nothing...and yet...I think it's just right at the time and why not. There are a few parking spaces directly at the snack bar...otherwise right next door in the side streets not far away. All in all...NIKO'S GRILL...you can go there!

What can I say? I've been there five/six times since it opened. It always tasted great and everyone is always very friendly. You can tell that Niko lives for his shop and puts his whole heart into it. Since opening, he has continued to develop the offering. There is now a diverse range of what I would describe as Greek street food. Many variations and combinations of popular Greek dishes. The gyros in particular taste good in all variations, especially the classic gyros plate “Gyros complete” is absolutely great! My absolute favorite Greek restaurant in Cologne and far beyond!

I ate the best shish kebab here today in recent years. The service was friendly, all the food was delicious and the prices were completely reasonable. The only small limitation was that it was very drafty in our place - probably because of the ventilation system. But we'll definitely come back here. Clear recommendation!

I just ordered gyros with fries, tzatziki and curry sauce. The quality of the meat was poor. There was so much fat in it that I just bit on a big piece of fat with almost every fork. Really disgusting. I threw half of it away because I couldn't eat it. I've eaten gyros several times before, but never had such disgusting meat with so much fat. Unfortunately, the curry sauce was far too sweet and not tasty either. Tzaziki and fries were good. Fries were crispy and well seasoned and the tzatziki also tasted great. Overall, I wouldn't order from this store again!

Really a very good Greek with great grilled dishes. Service friendly and atmosphere very suitable. I have to deduct one point for the food. The gyros are well seasoned and the meat is good. However, it is cut with an electric kebab knife. Unfortunately, this means that the meat is so thin that it (along with the delicious crust) is simply very dry. I then try to get a little more sauce but I think it's a shame. If this excellent product were traditionally cut with a knife to gyro thickness, it would be perfect!

I had pre-ordered 2 x gyros complete and picked them up myself. The portions were ready to the minute. The gyros were absolutely delicious, the fries were still nice and crispy and the coleslaw could have been seasoned a little better. All in all, recommended, we will definitely order there again. Because it tastes really delicious.

The Cologne Greek is the appropriate motto for Nikos Grill. The dishes are very tasty and the service is very friendly. My boys and I really enjoy going here and enjoying ourselves.

Update: Ordered via Uber-Eats 9/14/24. Quality no longer comes close to the quality of a year ago. Gyros is cut like kebab. The taste is no longer the same. Hence reduction to four stars. We will no longer order via Uber Eats and will test Nikos Grill again on site. If that's the case then it's over for us with the store. Too bad. --- Fresh, delicious gyros. Very tasteful. I'm overwhelmed to finally find, after 12 years, a classic Greek restaurant that maintains quality in both its food and its customer service. The pita bread alone is a stunner. Well, I don't know the first time we got food there, everything was perfect, the gyros were crispy, the fries were crispy and crispy. The second time, the fries were a bit limp, but that can be blamed on the high humidity, so everything was fine today 3rd time the gyros were tasty but very light and a lot of fat but the fries weren't full of fat, they were soggy and didn't cook properly... if you offer food you should get a consistent result, the fries weren't edible and the meat, well please the quality stay the same, of course there are fluctuations but not from perfect to the worst fries I've ever been served.

Gyros plate completely 12.90 What bothered me and my friends, however, was that the gyro meat was cut as thin as a sheet of paper and was almost cold. We all found that very bad, we thought there was nothing in our mouths to chew. Because of this volume, the plates looked very full, but in the end there wasn't much gyro. I only know the kebab because it's sliced ​​so thin.
