Niki in Laatzen

From the outside the house looks a little older, but that is also due to the long time the restaurant has been here. The decor is clocky and cozy. As a starter I had grape leaves which were very tasty and as a main course I had gyros gratinated with cheese. It was good but I also know better ones. I didn't like the fact that there were mushrooms in it. I can But I can't remember if they're on the menu. Since I always eat gyros gratinated when I eat Greek, I may not have read correctly. The metaxa sauce was delicious. Overall, I was full and satisfied at the end. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Thank you for the lovely evening

Cozy and incredibly tasty lamb chops

We spontaneously looked for a table for 6 people and found something at Niki's. The staff was very nice and accommodating, which makes a great first impression. The food was good, the portion size felt quite different overall but fair for the price.

It's been a long time since I've eaten as bad a Greek meal as I did today. The last time was at Metaxa in Laatzen. The moussaka consisted mainly of potatoes, soaked in fat. Some minced meat and finely chopped eggplant. Dry feta caked on top, and the thick tomato paste didn't help either. I know Moussska from Greece, from Hanover and also from Inos in Grasdorf. My husband had a rhodo plate: The lamb cutlet was just fatty, the liver was completely dry, the souflaki was rubbery and the gyros were fried to death. Never eaten so badly. Sad for the animals who had to die for this miserable way of preparing meat. Never again Niki!!!

The food was good. Service good. What bothered us a bit was that the main course had already arrived even though the starter hadn't been eaten yet. On the next visit we will point out that the chef should take his time with the main course. Otherwise everything is good and you feel comfortable. Another visit is definitely on the cards. The hint worked, everything worked fine 😉 Will be back!!!

Reservation on a Saturday for 2 people at 7.30 p.m. The order was placed shortly after 7:30 p.m. and the food was served at 8:40 p.m. Beforehand, at around 8.15 p.m., we were told with a short apology that the note with our order had somehow been "missed". Based on the subsequent service at the other tables, it can only be that our order was entered into the "normal order sequence". Presentation of the invoice without comment at 9:12 p.m

We have been visiting “Niki” regularly since 1998 and it is always a very nice experience.

A very nice restaurant with an appealing atmosphere. The people are friendly and the food is very good. The prices are reasonable. Behind the restaurant there is a very pretty outdoor terrace. There you can dine in peace and have a good time.

The restaurant is easily accessible, located on the street but well protected. We sat outside and the only thing that bothered us was the wasps. Despite the large number of guests, the service was quick and very friendly. The drinks came quickly, including a free ouzo. The food didn't take long to arrive either. It was tasty and hot. You can pay the bill in cash at the table or with card at the counter. The prices are appropriate for the food and drinks. We'll be back :)

A truly tasty travel to Greek dishes! A saganaki version that you rarely see in Greece (in Greece we mostly make it with yellow cheese) and a very tasty turkey gyros! I recommend it to any local, who wants to get an idea of what greek cuisine looks like and to any Greek who wants a taste travel back home! And trust me, I am Greek, so my standards were quite high!

A little Greek in Laatzen. The food is delicious and comparatively inexpensive. The service was friendly and attentive. In the Some decoration outside wouldn't hurt. Always happy again.

There is very tasty Greek food here. Since the menu has a platter with a variety of specialties that you can share, we were able to try a lot of things. I would like to highlight and praise one thing in particular and that is the very nice staff. Friendly, in a good mood and not intrusive.

We were able to sit and eat in the beer garden. The tables were nicely shaded by very large market umbrellas. The service was quick and attentive. Since it was a little further to the salad buffet, the salad was brought to the table. Great service. The menu offered a wide selection. The dishes were very tasty and were served hot. I found the prices to be very reasonable.

We come here every year for our wedding anniversary and were very happy again yesterday. My personal favorite were the dolmadakia! Gyros with Mataxa sauce and the cassis pan are also always great. The terrace and interior are beautiful. Service very attentive.

Food is delicious if you get a seat. Unfortunately, the outdoor area has a huge infestation of mosquitoes, so it's not really easy to sit there. If the restaurant can't help, you just have to hope for a seat inside.

Opening hours not OK. If they want to close you will be escorted out.

First there were mushrooms in the food contrary to the menu, then the alternative came when everyone else had already eaten and was completely over salted. The table was cleared while I was still eating and then the waiter wanted to take my plate away too.

We came by and could see there were many people eating on a Monday evening. We had to take our dog with us. There was good service and good food

Even without a reservation, it is always possible for two people to get a place at short notice. The friendly staff always makes it possible. The rustic ambience appears very cozy and invites guests to linger here for some time. The salad beforehand is always a taste experience. Fresh, crunchy and delicious. The drinks you order never take long to arrive and the food arrives within a very short time despite the full house. Unfortunately, the prices have risen significantly in recent years due to inflation, but compared to other Greek restaurants they are still perfectly fine. Price-performance ratio is still right and the portions, which sometimes seem a bit small, are always generous and fill you up very well. For me the best Greek in the Hanover region.

There were four of us eating at Niki (2 adults & 1 child, 1 baby). The restaurant has a nice Greek atmosphere. The service was rather reserved, but friendly. The food was brought quickly. In terms of taste, everything was okay, but compared to other Greek restaurants it was rather average. The lamb on the spit had a very strong taste. I fluctuated between 3-4 stars, but since the competition for Greek food is fierce, I'll stick with three. Unfortunately there was no changing table for our baby, so we had to change him in the parking lot.

Delicious solid Greek. Very friendly and attentive staff, even though we came without a reservation it wasn't a problem at all. One would be happy about a dollop of tzatziki with the dishes.

The food is great, tastes really good. It's just that the ambience has suffered quite a bit from the pandemic in recent years. It has become more sterile, has lost some of its Greek style and is now more "standard" for me, so savings have to be made. That's a real shame because I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. As long as the food stays up to standard, this restaurant is definitely worth recommending. Edit: a lot has changed, the restaurant is now brighter, more open and more modern! Not as “comfortable” as before but still worth 5 stars

Very nice welcome as tourists, we had forgotten to make a reservation and that was on the weekend but we were kindly given a nice place. It was very busy. However, the food arrived at the table quickly and hot. It was very tasty. Price/performance ratio was right. I was just missing one little thing A little bit of tzatziki on the plate, we had to order it separately, that was too much for us. Otherwise a clear recommendation

Inconspicuous restaurant which we visited after an evening at the trade fair. Without a reservation there was a place at the “regulars’ table” with other guests. Otherwise, reservations make sense. Food was very good without any frills and at a good price! Were very satisfied.

Not much of vegetarian choices at this place also no poultry choices which made me difficult to order food. 😢 ended up eating salad and a good beer!

We were greeted with an ouzo :) The menu is well-stocked, making it difficult to decide. After ordering, the food came quickly and warm. The portions are quite large and very tasty. Would love to come back.

Even though we didn't have a reservation, everything was done to get us a table. The staff there are really very friendly and helpful. The cuisine is incredibly good. I was there on Sunday evening a few weeks ago. Even though I hadn't made a reservation, I was immediately and friendly offered a place at the large table at the counter. Two people were already sitting there, but that wasn't a problem for me. The service was great, as was the food. Top Greek in Laatzen.

Wir waren seit vielen Jahren mal wieder hier. Alles war bestens. Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung und leckeres Essen, was uns 20 min nach der Bestellung vollständig erreichte. In Laatzen gibt es mindestens 3 sehr gute griechische Restaurants. Eins davon ist "Bei Niki".

Die Preise sind mehr als fair, das Essen köstlich und das Personal extrem freundlich. Das Lokal ist gemütlich und auch mit Öffis perfekt zu erreichen. Individuelle Wünsche werden -gegen Aufpreis- erfüllt. Besser geht es nicht. Unser Lieblingsgrieche.

Wir waren heute zum ersten mal bei Niki essen. Ich hatte eine große Grillplatte sodass ich Lammkoteletts, Gyros und Hackfleisch ausprobieren konnte. Bereits nach kurzer Zeit wurde trotz vollem Ladens die Bestellung aufgenommen und nach 30 min hatten wir auch schon den Hauptgang. Getränke kamen nach wenigen Minuten. Ich war rundum sehr zufrieden. Das Ambiente war gemütlich, der Service schnell und freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker. Besonders das Lammkotelett hat mich aus den Socken gehauen. Ich glaube das war das zarteste und saftigste welches ich je gegessen habe. Ich freue mich schon wenn wir wieder hier hin gehen. Volle 5 Sterne

Gute griechische Küche. Auch bei vollem Haus freundlich und schnell.

Obwohl Sonntag Abend ziemlich leer war hat uns die Bedienung einen Tisch zuweisen wollen. Erst haben wir uns gewundert weil es ziemlich überschaubar war. Halbe Stunde später wurde das Restaurant praktisch überrannt. Trotzdem kam unsere Bestellung sehr zeitnah und man hat gesehen wie die Bedienung bemüht war diesen Ansturm zu bewältigen. Die Speisen waren sehr schmackhaft, wir hatten gemischte Grillteller Kalamaria(Gott sei Dank nicht diese Ringe)diverse Vorspeisen. Ziemlich cool das die auch viele vegetarische Gerichte hatten. Alles in einem: Lecker, sauber , flink und freundliche Bedienung. Aber nächstes Mal besser mit Reservierung.

Wir waren hier heute Essen. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ist anzusprechen. Keinerlei Aufdringlichkeit, noch etwas zu trinken zu bestellen. Die Auswahl ist sehr gut. Da unsere Begleitung Vegetarisch essen wollte waren wir von den Möglichkeiten, die uns dort in der Speisekarte geboten wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Die Möglichkeit einzelne Bestandteile zu wählen und diese zu einen Gericht zusammen zustellen fand guten Anklang. Der Geschmack war sehr gut. Ich hatte die Nr. 60, (siehe Foto) geschmacklich wie auch von der Art der Zubereitung sehr gut. Auf jeden Fall einen weiteren Besuch wert. Es lohnt sich einen Tisch vorzubestellen. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit mit der EC-Karte zu bezahlen. Am 16.10.2023 heute wieder Nicki Tag. Es gab wieder die Nr 60 und gebackener Feta Käse mit Zwiebel und Tomaten. Das Essen war wieder sehr gut. dDas Fleisch sehr gut gewürzt und zart. Es lohnt hier Mal zu essen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, gute Portionen und sehr freundlicher Service. Nur die Akustik ist nicht so gut, es war insgesamt zu laut. Trotzdem rundum empfehlenswert!
