Nievenheimer Grill in Dormagen

Was recommended to me by my brothers, the Dark Hawks MC Dormagen, a week ago😎👍🏼🎩🦅... I should go there because we were still hungry after the lights trip and didn't feel like cooking... said done we went there... I I have to say, from the outside this ambience really appeals to you... parking is no problem... you could also eat inside, which is also very nice and appealing... but since we had to work the next morning, we had to we preferred to take our food with us… The service was very friendly…. Although there was a lot of activity there, it moved relatively quickly…. So we couldn't even study the menu... Of course we would have had time for it... But the people behind the counter prepared a Gyros Pita for another customer, which made us decide to eat one too... to take away... then when we got home, we fell over it... we have to say it was great super super tasty such a fluffy pond and a juicy gyro I haven't eaten in a very long time... That motivated us to be customers there more often in the future... Whether we are traveling by motorbike and make a stop there, or by bike, or simply something spontaneous... Yes, you might wonder, man, what does he write a lot... yes, that's right... but a lot of people write and don't write what phase is... and if something is very good, like it is in the Nievenheimer Grill, where everything is completely right, then This must also be emphasized... so that many people will take my note to heart and maybe say you know what, we'll try it out... Had a Jägerschnitzel, well what can I say, the sauce tastes like ketchup

The food is very good, but the pricing is very questionable. A gyro plate complete with fries, tzatziki, and salad costs 13 euros (that's completely fair and a huge portion) if you ask if you can have a small portion you pay for less than half without salad 11 euros. You lose your appetite when you pay 😕

I had the great pleasure of dining at Nievenheimer Grill and it was an absolute highlight. I was particularly impressed by the gyros! The meat was exceptionally tender and perfectly seasoned, every bite a real taste experience. The herbs and spices were harmoniously balanced and complemented the meat perfectly. Fresh cabbage salt was served, which rounded off the dish perfectly. The portions were generous and the service was friendly and attentive. A visit here is a must for every lover of Greek cuisine. I will definitely come back!

A snack bar with a very large menu. Super fast service and very fresh salads. Otherwise it's just snack quality. But that's exactly what you need every now and then. We always enjoy coming here. We usually take the food home with us. I myself am the biggest fan of gyros.

We were just there. I have rarely experienced such terrible service, even when writing down the order, I wrote everything down incorrectly and reacted hectically, stressed and annoyed. When our food came it wasn't right either, but we left it at that. We had ordered something to take away, which was also wrong. We then wanted it the way we ordered it. Then the gentleman who took the orders became abusive and spoke to me in a disrespectful, loud tone in front of other people, so that even his colleagues wanted to calm him down. Extremely unpleasant. Otherwise we enjoyed sitting there. I ask for an answer.

It's simply the best quick service restaurant I've seen so far. I grew up in Nievenheim and am now more of a vagabond, but whenever I'm back there, one of the first places I go is there. 🙂

It's a shame that closings/company holidays aren't shown on Google and it says open, even on their own homepage there's nothing about it. Time and fuel invested for free.

The gyros are amazing!!! A real treat. The hardest part is choosing what you want to eat from the menu. Please note: there is no card payment, only cash.

Guys, what's wrong with the store? The service in terms of good mood no longer exists. The price for a gyro plate at 12.50 is no longer justified. And then the quality also decreased. The meat is completely over-seasoned and the fries are swimming in fat. Stomach problems remain. Not again It's a shame it used to be better. Change of ownership? I would rather recommend the Fetten Hahn in Ückerath.

A great snack bar with a large selection. You will be welcomed and served in a friendly manner. We ordered gyros platter and gyros pita. It tasted great and the portions were huge. You can sit and eat outside or inside. See for yourself, I can only recommend it 👍👍👍

A delicious chip shop with an extensive selection. Price performance really fits together here. Unfortunately, the rolls with the salad are ALWAYS ice cold. Great organization and therefore hardly any waiting time even when it is full. What works better: Please finally offer card payment!!!

Wow! What a gem! Cannot believe how great this food is. I will make sure to come past many more times. I had the Gyros Pita plate, this is absolutely divine. The meat is super cross and tasty that I had to get some more. The take away was unfortunately not as cross, but it did not take too much off the still super yummy food. I loved the location: quiet street and lots of parking. The atmosphere in the shop is great. There was nice music playing. There is also plenty of parking outside available. Inside seating is generous and in good numbers available. On the outside there are also a couple of big tables. I am definitely coming back. Whenever you're somewhere around the area, make sure to visit this place!

Ordered by phone for the first time today and definitely not the last time. Great value for money. Gyro plate complete with salad and tzatziki for €12.50 (as of May 16, 2024). Tastes very good. Meat very tasty and the fries are very crunchy. All in all, a well-rounded affair. We'll definitely be back!!!

Found by chance, great, definitely coming back

I was very disappointed today. Poor customer service. We had ordered a Cevapcici plate and instead I got a Bifteki plate. OK, that can happen. I then kindly went to the counter and pointed out that we hadn't ordered a Bifteki plate. It was directly stated that I ordered a Bifteki plate. Apparently three employees noticed this. No insight at all or the offer that they would remake the food. Then I tried the Bifteki and what is that Bifteki was not fried through. Some of the minced meat was still raw. After my complaint, they wanted to tell me that with Bifteki it was the case that the meat wasn't completely cooked through. Honestly, I feel totally ripped off by the staff. In hindsight, I should have just left our food and left the snack bar with such behavior. No insight at all and false allegations were made against me. Afterwards there were even 4 employees who supposedly noticed that I had ordered a Bifteki plate. NO GO!!! If only the meat was at least cooked through... We've actually always been happy with the food so far. Very poor and clumsy customer service. A pity :-(

The best gyros I've eaten in years!

Very tasty food.. Of course, since it's so good, you have to wait. Points are deducted from service because you can only pay in cash. A no go these days... Atmosphere is like a fast food restaurant... Also very loud and there are usually people waiting in the hallways. But it's definitely worth it for the freshly prepared food.. Any time..

Legendary fries/gyros place. Here you can get a great gyro in a variety of variations. Plus, of course, classics like currywurst and the like, but also pizza. While you're there, you should eat gyros. If it's full again - don't worry! They have everything under control. This doesn't take as long as one might fear. Bon appetit!

7:45 p.m. Call with an order for two gyro plates, 8:00 p.m. arrival at the snack bar, wait 15 minutes for my turn. I don't have my order, I'm ordering a new one. Answer from the colleague behind the counter: stand aside, I have to see if your order is somewhere else, I don't make two gyro plates twice (the first item on the menu, so it's ordered very often). I stand around for another 15 minutes, waiting... everyone else after me gets their food. When I ask where my newly ordered food is: we have to prepare it first. After 45 minutes! My reaction: "It's taking too long, I'm leaving." The employee points towards the door and says “Bye”. Incredible!!! By the way: there is a very unpleasant smell of frying oil in the store. Somehow I lost my appetite there forever...

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir hatten kaum Wartezeit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. 1 Stern abzug das an diesem Tag keine Grillspeisen und Pizzen gemacht worden sind. Aber das alternative Essen was wir uns stattdessen ausgesucht hatten, war sehr lecker und sehr reichlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. 👍

Gyros ist unschlagbar gut...die anderen Gerichte eher unteres Mittelmass...Pommes schmecken gar nicht.

Sehr enttäuschender Service!! Mussten ca. 45 Minuten auf unser Essen warten und bei Ankunft zuhause, stellten wir fest, dass die Beilage (Pommes) fehlte - für zwei kleine Hähnchenstücke - 14€ etwas zu teuer ohne Beilage. Hatte heute den Mitarbeiter nochmals vor Ort darauf aufmerksam gemacht - er hatte 1 Euro aus der Kasse genommen und streckte mir den Euro entgegen und meinte soviel kostet die Pommes zu diesem Gericht! Finde diese Geste mehr als unverschämt immerhin mussten wir die Speise ohne Beilage essen.. ein Gutschein für eine Pommes oder die 4€ was eine Pommes in diesem Imbiss kostet wären da angebracht gewesen / geschweige eine Entschuldigung! Danke für nichts - nie wieder :)

Endlich mal wieder ein Grill, der das Ambiente einer Pommesbude von früher hat. Das Gyros ist weltklasse

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Sehr leckeres Essen und die Portionen sind der Hammer (Gyrosteller)! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt. Vor allem weil alles frisch zubereitet wird. Mega! Fotos hab ich keine da alles aufgegessen und ich nicht gerne teile.

Currywurst Pommes zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Currywurst wurde geschnitten und musste dann fünf Minuten auf die Pommes warten. Dadurch wird die Currywurst natürlich nicht wärmer. Die Pommes waren so wie sie sein müssen, knusprig und dünn. Die Currysauce war sehr wässrig, habe ich schon viel besser gegessen. Hat mich in Summe nicht überzeugt.

Gyros Teller 1+ mit * und den Salat nach Art des Hauses lieben wir auch. Bisher war immer alles von sehr guter Qualität. Frische Zutaten und geschmacklich top. Hier stehen die Leute nicht umsonst Schlange. Sitzen will ich hier nicht unbedingt. Ist halt eine "Pommes Bude" und kein Restaurant. Daher eher ungemütlich.

Sehr gutes Gyros, ausreichend portioniert. Freundliche und schnelle Mitarbeiter, auch wenn der Imbiss voll ist.

Das Ambiente ist modern und geradlinig mit gemütlich rustikalen Elementen. Leider teilweise etwas laut. Die Bedienung ist freundlich. Das Essen ist für einen Imbiss echt hervorragend. Die Pommes sind knusprig, die Currywurst solide und das Gyros toll gewürzt. Auch die Salate sind lecker. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier auf jeden Fall. Auch wenn einige Preise eher an ein Restaurant als an einen Imbiss erinnern, lohnt es sich geschmacklich auf jeden Fall.

Nette Leute, Schöne Atmosphäre 🌻 und richtig gemütlich Hier. Das Essen, ich hab mir Gyros Pita Teller bestellt das war auch Lecker also nichts zu bemängeln. Preise sind auch angemessen. Ich werde wieder kommen.

Immer frisch und lecker. Gerne auch für besondere Gelegenheiten den Grill mit Gyros zum mieten.

Mussten trotz telefonischer Vorbestellung und pünktlicher Ankunft noch 45 min auf das Essen warten. Man kann nicht mit Karte zahlen, was ich gerade bei größeren Bestellungen echt unpraktisch und steinzeitlich finde. Essen war ok, die Pommes ziemlich labbrig.

Das Gyros ist wirklich eine Wucht, sehr schön gewürzt und schön Cross. Ebenso die Schnitzel, da gibts nichts zu meckern. Einzig die Pommes Frittes schmecken etwas komisch, schwer zu beschreiben, lecker sind Sie leider nicht. Das ist mir schon öfters aufgefallen. Da sollte man eventuell mal die Marke wechseln. Ansonsten alles Top👍
