The food was good and the quantity was sufficient, it was very tasty.

The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and everything came very quickly.

The banh da cua (red noodle soup with crab meat) is absolute stunning. If you have never eaten authentic vietnamese food - this is the place to eat in Hamburg. Good prices and service as well in a beautiful town hall.

The food in the photos of other reviews is not true, I ordered Pho Bo, and was left dissatisfied! There was almost no meat or greens, and the noodles were overcooked, it was impossible to eat. I do not recommend it!

Tasty, inexpensive and very filling portions

I've had Pho many times and always been satisfied. Recently, I ordered fried rice and was very disappointed. The chicken seemed to have been refrigerated, some of the meat was not even heated through and had probably been boiled beforehand. It had no flavor at all. The fried rice was also not seasoned enough, so the chicken was cold and tasteless.

The waitresses were very friendly, and the drinks and food arrived quickly. The food was delicious; if you like, you can help yourself to as many sauces as you like from the table. The portion sizes were also generous, and I was definitely full. On top of all that, the prices are also quite reasonable—dinery-like prices, restaurant-like quality!

A delightful family-run oriental restaurant located in a beautiful historic shopping mall in the center of Hamburg. Excellent food, quick and friendly service, and a very fair price, which is not to be taken for granted given the location and average prices in Hamburg.

Good selection and easy to find

There were five of us. The food was delicious. We felt the sauces weren't enough, but that wasn't a problem, as the waitress immediately brought us more sauce. All in all, a quiet restaurant with delicious food and friendly service.

This is already my second visit! It's still delicious, haha. I had mango salad (Nr. 15 Nom Xoai), bun cha (Nr. 45 Bun Cha Hanoi), pho (Nr. 53 Bun Ca), and iced tea (Nr. 200 Chanh da). The staff were also friendly. See you next time!

The restaurant is inside a mall upstairs. We are glad we sought it out. We had duck, summer rolls, a mixed salad and sake and it came to €27. A good price in an upmarket mall.

We ate some delicious bun cha, and the pho noodle soups my parents had were also delicious. The staff was very friendly and let us eat there half an hour before closing time.

Delicious food for a good price

We immediately felt transported back to our trip to Vietnam. The food was fantastic and absolutely authentic, especially the Pho Bo Hanoi. The service was friendly and prompt, and the ambiance pleasant.

I haven't had such bad Asian food in a long time. I had the duck with "spicy" sauce: it tasted like diluted soy sauce and was slightly sour. My friend had the duck with peanut sauce, which wasn't great either.

The spicy and sour soup was incredibly bad, tasteless, and looked like snot! The Coke was barely carbonated and barely chilled! The waitress was visibly disinterested and didn't speak a single sentence to us, just "yes" and "okay." Where do the good reviews come from? Did you buy it?

THE insider tip if you want Vietnamese food in the city. Delicious soups and a consistently friendly staff. The Bun Bo Hue and Bun Cha Hanoi are definitely among my favorite dishes there. It's a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a relaxed meal. I can also recommend this place if you're pressed for time, as the food arrives very quickly :)

Whenever I'm in Hamburg, I HAVE to eat here. The PhoBo with medium beef is simply divine. And the delicious passion fruit juice... no words. :-) The service is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere on the gallery is very harmonious and interesting. I'm glad I found you.

I eat at this restaurant often and always think it's a good value. Today I found a hair in my noodles and the waiter took it away quickly and came back to tell me that they don't have long hair in the kitchen. This was very offensive, although they later remade it. My parents both have short hair and I have curly hair. If your food is not clean, please admit it!!!

We've been regular customers for years. We love coming here with our family and are always treated well. The food always tastes fresh and is reasonably priced. For me, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Hamburg.

Our hotel concierge recommended this place, as authentic and high quality with generous portions at a good price. He smiled so big when I said I would try it and now I know why. It was amazing. The best meal we have had in Hamburg & if I came back to Hamburg, I would make sure to come back. A MUST TRY!!! It’s a little hard to find (second floor inside a mall), but it’s worth the hunt. Whatever you get, you won’t be disappointed. I had a spicy/sour pho that had flavor explosions: rice cakes, dill, noodles, & vegetables. My sister got a noodle dish and loved it! We got sesame balls for dessert that were warm and filled with bean paste! Our bill was 38!!! For two!! What a deal! I totally recommend!!!

Bun cha isn't authentic and tastes bad. It's made of old, tough meat, and it's pan-fried rather than grilled. It's not seasoned in the usual way.

The best Vietnamese restaurant in all of Hamburg. By far the best value for money. The Pho and Bun Tron are my favorite dishes.

We came to this restaurant because of the many positive reviews. I don't understand how they came about. It's a typical "food court restaurant," so the atmosphere isn't that cozy. The food arrived in less than five minutes—so it couldn't possibly be fresh. And it tasted that way, too. I had a soup with fish balls. The fish balls tasted like they'd been deep-fried in days-old fat, and the parsley stems were in the soup; it was tasteless. Twenty minutes later, I was suffering from nausea, which lasted for the next two days. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. Edit July 2, 2025: About three years after my visit there and after I wrote my review, the restaurant owner reported it for "defamation" and temporarily took it offline. I then had to write a detailed statement to Google and provide evidence to get the review back online. Of course, not everyone wants to go to that trouble. With this approach, it is now clear to me why the restaurant has such high ratings when every bad review is reported and deleted.

As a huge fan of this restaurant, it's easy for me to give it full stars! Favorite food, great location on the top floor of the Levantehaus, and very friendly staff. Keep up the good work, and thank you for your delicious food.

My friend had the Pho Bo Hanoi and I had the crispy chicken in red curry. It's a very pleasant place to have a conversation; it's quiet, and the staff was very friendly.

Affordable Vietnamese restaurant downtown in the Levante building. The food was average and reasonably priced.

The food was very tasty and beautifully presented, as were the appetizers. The meals were served simultaneously. Dessert is also recommended. The fried rice balls were delicious, as was the taro with coconut milk.

We are fans of Vietnamese cuisine and decided to try this place based on the positive reviews. However, we were very disappointed with the taste of the food. It was quite surprising how quickly they prepared it. We won't come back.

Red curry duck. The crispy duck, good rice, good sauce. But a little bit of fruit and rice. Good service, friendly waiters. I got the food quickly.

Super delicious - also gluten-free! We have been coming here as often as we can for 6 years, it is also a must for all our guests. Great ambience in the historic Levantehaus, super tasty, cheap (a filling main course is available for just €10) and friendly service. There are also plenty of vegetarian, some vegan dishes and even I, who have celiac disease, find a large selection of gluten-free dishes. We are particularly grateful to Tung, who is always particularly friendly and patient and always gives us great information about which dishes contain allergens! (Give him a raise!) PS: Definitely try the Vietnamese spring rolls!! I dream about them at night!

Not only is the service here extremely competent and knows how to give helpful answers to all questions about the food, but the mix of good ambience, delicious food and very reasonable prices is also right here! Even outside of lunchtime, the price-performance ratio is right here. The restaurant can be found somewhat hidden on the upper floor of the Levante House. I have been visiting this restaurant regularly with friends and family for many years and have always gone home thrilled and full!

We ate there on the last day of our vacation and it was really delicious, the menu is very diverse and there is something for everyone, the rooms are very comfortable and the prices are also very good for the quality offered. We were served very nicely. When we forgot our bag there and then went back to our hometown, we called to ask - and the owners sent us our forgotten and missing bag, super friendly and the greatest joy for us

This is my go-to vietnamese restaurant in Hamburg. I recommend Bun Cha Hanoi if you could eat pork. In my opinion, the best one in Hamburg.

Ngan Tinh has been serving traditional Vietnamese dishes since 1991. Founded by a couple who immigrated from Vietnam in 1980, the restaurant emphasizes fresh ingredients and original recipes without the use of flavour enhancers. The menu features a variety of authentic Vietnamese specialities, including the traditional "Pho" soup.

Good food in this beautiful little passage. If you come as a couple you can get a table in the passage. I don't know why, but it radiated cozy conviviality. But it was also nice in the restaurant. All around good.

The Vietnamese restaurant is located in the middle of the old shopping arcade of the Levante House. Here you can sit comfortably both in the covered arcade area and in the restaurant. The food is excellent, the portions are generous and freshly prepared. Spicy is rather mild here. Unfortunately there were only 2 desserts left, which we were told only after we ordered. The toilets are probably used by the entire passage and are therefore difficult. Nevertheless, the somewhat hidden restaurant is a clear recommendation.

I went there after reading a review that said it was delicious, and it was really delicious. The portions were large and the noodles had a lot of meat. I ate rice noodles and Buncha fried rice and it wasn't a failure.
