Ich finde dieses Café ist sehr schön und auch die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen

Man kann für einen guten Preis gut essen.

Sie können drinnen oder draußen sitzen. Draußen hat man Blick auf den Stadtpark mit einem Springbrunnen. Es wirkt gemütlich und entspannt. Freundlicher und schneller Service. Abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte.

Wir waren 2x dort zum Abendessen. Die Auswahl in der Karte war vielseitig und umfangreich. Das Essen war beide Male hervorragend und der Service tadellos. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend und die Lage am Stadtpark ist wirklich schön. Klare Empfehlung!

Tolle Atmosphäre um den Sonnenuntergang am Park zu genießen. Man muss ja in Papenburg nicht immer am Kanal sitzen. Die Speisekarte bietet dafür genau das richtige Angebot, auch leckere Kleinigkeiten sind dabei. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend.

Ich bin doch sehr enttäuscht, das es nicht mal eine Pflanzenmilch für den Kaffee gibt. Sollte heutzutage Standard sein.

Sie sind stehts bemüht mit dem Kunden zu kommunizieren. Auf Kosten der Freundlichkeit, wird die Bewirtung an letzter Stelle gestellt. Unhöflichkeit ist hier von großer Bedeutung.

Das NEWS CAFE - Papenburg, Am Stadtpark 35, 26871 Papenburg, hat eine für mich einladende Atmosphäre und der Terrassenbereich mitten im Stadtpark, kann nicht gelungener sein, siehe Fotos. Ich schätze auch die Köstlichkeiten im Restaurant/Bistro und meine Speisen- Auswahl hat lecker geschmeckt. Die freundliche und rasche Bedienung tat ihr übriges, um meine erstmalige Einkehr, als gelungen zu bezeichnen, weswegen ich 5 Sterne vergebe.

Wir waren Ostersonntag zum Kaffee hier. Obwohl wir mit 4 Personen da waren haben wir noch einen Platz bekommen. Lag wohl auch daran das viele bei dem tollen Wetter schon draußen gesessen haben. Das Cafe liegt schön am Wasser.

Sind im März zu Besuch in Papenburg gewesen. Bei einem Spaziergang durch den Stadtpark sind wir von weiten auf ein Eisschild durch das Café aufmerksam geworden. Vor Ort gab es kein Eis. So haben wir nur einen Kaffee getrunken und sind weiter gelaufen.

Gute Lage am schönen Stadtpark. Essen und Service waren okay. Der Kaffee war übrigens sehr lecker.

Wir waren im News Café und haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist freundlich und einladend, und auch das Personal ist nett und aufmerksam. Der Kuchen war sehr lecker und absolut empfehlenswert! Auch die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung, sodass man hier gerne mal eine Pause einlegt.

Wir hatten nur ein paar Drinks aber die waren sehr gut und die Preis-Leistung ist auch ok gewesen.....

Waren zum ersten Mal dort, sind angereist von Wiesmoor wegen der Komischen Nacht Comedy. Hat sich gelohnt, gelungene Konstruktion, toller Service. Danke

Das Positive zuerst: super netter Service und man sitzt wirklich schön. ABER: bei knapp 10€ für 2 Croissants mit Butter und Marmelade erwarte ich Croissants vom Bäcker und keine (wirklich mickrigen) knack&back Varianten. Essen allgemein ziemlich teuer, da gibt es deutlich bessere Lokale in Papenburg

Schönes Café mit nettem Ambiente! Leider ziemlich gehobene Preise....

Wir haben nach dem Feuerwerkskauf ein köstliches Essen genossen :) Das Schnitzel war lecker und die Pommes auch. Gemütlich und stimmungsvoll.

Waren übers Wochenende in Papenburg zu Besuch. An beiden Abenden waren wir hier essen bzw. Cocktails trinken, da uns die Atmosphäre gefiel und die Burger gut schmeckten. - Essen (Burger & Pommes ) war sehr gut - Wartezeit auf Essen etwas länger - Bier vom Fass war gut - Cocktails ebenfalls gut - Bedienung freundlich - Preislich vollkommen okay alles Wir hatten uns zudem gewundert das der Irish Pub nebenan an einem vorweihnachtlichen Samstag sehr voll war, das News Cafe jedoch nicht. Wir können es auf jeden Fall empfehlen, grade für junge Nachtschwärmer zum Basis schaffen und Vorglühen stelle ich es mir gut vor 😎

We were on holiday in Papenburg in July and ate at the News Cafe every evening. The staff is very nice, friendly, and accommodating. We were there with a small child, and they always immediately asked for a chair. Everyone is very fond of children and very open to a little chat. The food is delicious, the cocktails are fantastic, and the breakfast is plentiful. I would definitely go back. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.

I've been to this place several times, and it's always been great. The servers are usually fantastic. But the last time I ordered my usual nuggets and fries, I was told they're normally served to children, and I didn't understand what the difference was if I was paying for them. So instead, I got chicken wings that were dry and tasteless, and I was quite annoyed by the whole situation. 14 euros wasted. Well, from now on, it's just fries for me. Sad, indeed.

I was there on a rainy day and chose the "Wintergarten" (winter garden). A waitress came over soon after and took our order. It didn't take long for the drink to arrive. A few minutes later, the food arrived. All in all, a pleasant place. Nice and friendly staff. Always there, but not intrusive. I'd be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to the News Café. There was a tiny beetle crawling around on my plate, which I only noticed after I'd already eaten the burger. I suspect the lettuce in the burger wasn't washed thoroughly. In a restaurant, you should naturally expect vegetables to be prepared hygienically. Especially given my current situation—I'm pregnant—I'm worried about potential health consequences. Unfortunately, this was a very unpleasant experience for me.

The News Café was a disappointment. While the food was delicious, we had to wait an extremely long time without any information. Then the food and drinks arrived incorrectly, the service was unfriendly, and the place was in a very unkempt state. There were cobwebs in the corners and spiders. Overall, a truly unpleasant experience.

We were unfortunately a bit disappointed. We were a large group of ten people and wanted to spend a nice evening there – something to eat and something to drink. Unfortunately, they didn't have any non-alcoholic wheat beer or Sprite. Whether you want to mix Sprite into your beer or not is debatable – but in a business of this size, something like that should be available. The food was overall rather mediocre, the salads didn't seem fresh, and some dishes weren't available at all. All in all, it was really disappointing. If you're looking for a nice evening with good food, I wouldn't recommend the News Café at the moment. There are several restaurants in the area that are much more appealing.

We had an incredible dinner at News Cafe in Papenburg! It was such a beautiful atmosphere, right on the water - a stunning place to finish the evening 💜 I got the burger and it was DELICIOUS - super tender and a large portion of meat too. The service was amazing, fast and our server was super attentive and friendly. Such an amazing experience, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Papenburg!

I want to write my review of News Café not only as a visitor, but also as someone who applied for a job there. At first, everything went quite well. The waitress who was supposed to show me around was friendly and gave me tips on what I could do better. However, when I got to the kitchen, I saw that it was terribly dirty and completely unsanitary. Furthermore, the tables and floors were often dirty, especially where people were smoking. I was supposed to go for my second trial shift tomorrow. I entered the schedule in my calendar with the waitress I had previously communicated with. Today, she texted me that I was supposed to work today. In short: complete disrespect for potential employees. They don't value people's time. I don't recommend it if you care about your health!

Beautiful location with a great patio. Excellent food with generous portions. Staff was fantastic, right from the greeting and throughout the meal. They speak excellent English and understood everything we asked, including special requests for my daughter’s food allergies. Highly recommend!

The burgers used to be better. These days, you can definitely get better food elsewhere for that price. The rest is okay. The service is poor. It takes far too long to be served. An attractive café with a central location, a lovely terrace overlooking the city park. Friendly service, and the breakfast was actually good, but they were misleadingly offered two rolls. One was regular-sized and the other was a mini, which was a shame because it was delicious and the tea was highly recommended. Wheelchair accessible. I'd be happy to go back.

We always enjoyed spending time there, but now we'll be looking for a new, cozy café. Also, my review isn't about the café itself, but rather about not losing any more customers. A good atmosphere makes a big difference. I don't want to be rude, but it's fine to have a nice scent on hot summer days. In a restaurant, guests place a lot of value on well-groomed staff.

Despite the attractive decor and cozy atmosphere, I can't give it more than one star. The most important thing in a café, the food and drinks, left a lot to be desired today. Of the six drinks we tried, we found ants and flies in two of them. This makes you start to wonder what, if any, hygiene standards are being met.

Went yesterday May 11th. there! Very friendly service! They were all young people, but on the ball. My experience was completely different. Food was good. And our needs were taken into account. It certainly wasn't the last time on our vacation.

A nice location in itself, but the outside area is not in line with the inside area, tables with waste compartments...yuck, stained upholstery, tables not wiped down, cigarette butts in the gravel...that's not possible, someone would have to feel responsible here for the ambience to be right.

We've been there several times. Pizza and tarte flambée are good. The last two times I wanted to order a finger food plate that was on the menu, but both times they said they didn't have it anymore. The two of us ate here. Unfortunately, at 7:30 p.m. there was no more pizza dough. So then I switched to spagetti carbonara. Almost €14 for a small handful is a disgrace. Hello, we were in the suburbs yesterday, as Papenburgers you actually know that you shouldn't eat there. My last bad experience was about five years ago and we thought we would give it a second chance. However, I was extremely disappointed, my companion ordered a bowl in which the leaves were brown and already mushy, making them difficult to scrape and inedible. I have to say that the prices are overpriced at €14.30 for a bowl. I ordered a burger with a side dish, it not only looked bland but was just dry and tasteless. In fact, I opened the burger and lo and behold there was a tiny blob of ketchup in the middle of the bun and a tiny slice of tomato, the lettuce was also already wilted, brown and mushy, like fries without salt or spices, so completely tasteless and that for A whopping €19.40. The only plus point in this case was the service and the location… It's really a disgrace what they want to sell there as food, from today on we won't set foot in there anymore, which is a real shame because it's a really nice place there in the middle of the city park.

I was in this cafe recently and it was an extremely frustrating experience! We ordered a chocolate cake but were served the wrong dessert. When we realized the mistake, the cake was simply taken away from us. But the worst part was that we also had to pay extra for something we didn't order! Unprofessional service and absurd prices. NEVER AGAIN!

Well, unfortunately it's not enough for the demands you might want. Lots of things worth improving. For example, mozzarella sticks are not really of better quality than frozen ones from Lidl, at least the last time we were there. We were there spontaneously because we wanted to visit the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg and we didn't like the restaurant we were looking for. Very nice location and the schnitzel was freshly prepared as the knocking could be heard from the kitchen. It's quietly located next to a body of water and it's certainly very nice in the summer when you can sit outside. We probably won't come back, but we highly recommend it. The meat was tender, the dark hunter's sauce was made with fresh mushrooms and the fried potatoes were very tasty. Three thumbs up!!

Are you serious? THAT is supposed to be a pizza? or pasta carbonara? So either your cook is a roofer by profession or I don't understand the world anymore.
