The breakfast was beautifully presented and plentiful, and the tables were beautifully set. Of course, the dining room was a bit noisy, and the ambiance wasn't so pleasant.

We were registered as a group of 17 people and had to order the food in advance, although there was only the possibility that everyone would have the same dish (vegetarians and vegans excluded); a la carte was not possible. The majority opted for the meat robber pan, which consisted of schnitzel, pork neck steak, chicken breast steaks, hunter's sauce, fries and a colorful salad. The fries and salad were good. The meat wasn't hot, it was arranged a bit carelessly on a platter and unfortunately it was very dry. The sauce was obviously a ready-made sauce. Meat and fries were brought later. The meat was a little warmer then. We suspect that the meat has been kept warm or warmed up for a long time because it didn't come fresh from the pan. The fee was 23.50 euros per person. With the vegan burger, the top half of the bun was very hard and was difficult to cut, while the bottom half of the bun was limp and soggy (also only lukewarm). Unfortunately there was only Krombacher available for Pilsner, no alternative (apart from wheat beers). Service was good, staff was friendly. Unfortunately, we cannot make a recommendation overall.

I cannot recommend this inn! In our case, a table was reserved for a group of 14 people. Unfortunately, we recently came down with stomach flu. For me it is in no way understandable why in this case they are not flexible enough not to charge the price for two of us. I can't plan in advance when I'll get sick! Shouldn't be that hard to understand. Or should we show up despite this illness and maybe relieve ourselves at the buffet because we couldn't make it? After all, we're not talking about half the group here. But if you read the recessions here, this is probably not an isolated case. For me only one thing is clear: Gasthof Tepe never again. And I will make this public wherever I can! A possibly good meal can't make up for that. Of course, I'll take the time to respond to your comment. I didn't realize that your inn only works to cover costs and completely foregoes profits. I can fool myself alone. If they cannot afford it financially (an inn like theirs, long-established and not exactly the smallest company in this industry) to forego the money that they were counting on in our case, they have simply done poorly. I have never encountered such behavior in any other inn or restaurant. In my opinion, the owner here apparently only has dollar bills in his eyes and customer satisfaction is somewhere at the bottom here. I think everything has been said now!

The evening was a disappointment. There were six of us there and we each ordered the recommended fish platter. Unfortunately the balance between fish and potatoes was very poor - one could also have spoken of a potato platter. We complained to Keller about this without any response. The sauce was also missing, which came after 2 reminders after we had finished eating. It's a shame, but I don't think I'll recommend the restaurant and won't be visiting it again anytime soon.

The ambience and service was fine. When we ate, we missed fresh vegetables such as peppers, cucumbers, etc. What really pissed us off was that you had to pay the full price for people who got sick and weren't there. According to the staff, it's probably in the email under the terms and conditions that the full price has to be paid if you don't come, regardless of the reason. (You always read them 😥) You can take some leftovers with you after breakfast for the person who isn't there, but it doesn't do much good if you're sick. This needs to be reworked. That's our opinion. In general, breakfast is too expensive for what you get. We won't be back there any time soon.

Sitting here at Easter. Starter was ok, 15 minute wait in line. After 20 minutes the main buffet was empty. Only the standard was still there. No chicken, no gratin, no decent meat. I can also go to a snack bar for schnitzel and fries. The main course for me is schnitzel, broccoli and beans. If it's all about quantity and not class, you don't need to go here anymore.

The six of us went for dinner today at the invitation of "grandpa and grandma". We were really looking forward to a dinner at Tepe as we had a great time last time, a few years ago. Unfortunately we now left with a NOT satisfying feeling. The starter for two people was not properly understood and was unfortunately not corrected. This changed the appetite of all of us enormously. The fish dish for 2 people at almost 30 euros per person was also very disappointing. You also got too much salad with both the starter and main course. The ice cream sundaes were fine, but of course there is little wrong with that. We will certainly not go back with this experience, unfortunately.....

We had a cabbage tour. With eleven coal eaters at one table there were only 6 pee. The cabbage was hidden under the meat. Which was very dry. So not recommended. Not eating cabbage as we know it. Too bad. What's more is that the food only came to the table lukewarm.

We both had the anniversary menu, I had fish and my wife had meat. The starters were excellent, my fish was very good for the skin course 👍 only my wife's chicken breast was very dry. We were here for the Christmas buffet, everything was very delicious and the service was also top. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was more like a canteen; it was very crowded, loud and cramped.

We went to the Christmas buffet in the evening with 8 people, including a 4-year-old girl. The selection of buffet food was ok, but unfortunately there was nothing special in terms of taste. Roulades were dry, despite being marinated in sauce. The schnitzels were also very dry and the salad buffet was very poor in price. In general, one wonders why high-quality cuisine is advertised here when every catering service delivers at least the same quality. Unfortunately, the tables had already been cleared (tablecloths, runners and decorations) while some were still eating dessert. The buffet was cleared away very quickly, even though people still asked for drinks. The feeling arose as if you were being thrown out. In addition, the whole hall was overcrowded... the staff was somewhat inflexible and the drinks were only taken 15 minutes after arrival, And then charging 17 euros for a 4 year old child is, in my opinion, inappropriate. There was a canteen atmosphere... for us it was the first and last time at the Tepe Inn.

Today we were at the Christmas buffet at the Tepe Inn. It was also our first visit here. All we can say is: We are thrilled and you made our Boxing Day as perfect as possible. Everything was really right here. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and shown to the square. As a big exception, we only reserved for 2 and had our own small table for ourselves. That is also such a big plus. The whole team was super nice, fast, professional and incredibly accommodating. We have rarely felt so comfortable. Everything was just right. The food was simply 10/10. The selection was large, everything was fresh and high quality. The pork fillet was tender, the game ragout was perfectly seasoned and the mousse au chocolat was the best thing I have ever eaten. So a big thank you to the team for this wonderful afternoon.

We were here for Christmas dinner today. Everything from the buffet was delicious, fish and duck leg were very reasonably priced. Service nice and attentive. We come from the Schaumburg area but can recommend this restaurant.

Rich buffet, but with weaknesses. Roulades were very dry, despite being in the sauce. Staff was friendly. The only drawback was the pricing. Especially when you consider that a small child has to pay a price of €17. This may be acceptable for a child aged 8-9, but definitely not acceptable for a child aged 4. I also have to complain about the fact that tables had already been re-set, even though tables were still occupied and there was still food there...

We stayed at the Tepe Inn with a tour group! The food was okay so far! At least most people enjoyed it and were full! However, I would have expected a little more for the price and if everyone who registered had been there that day (two people were missing that evening), the crowd would probably have been a bit tight! The young man who served us was friendly and attentive. But what ultimately leads to the bad rating... The service and flexibility leave a lot to be desired! Although it was announced on Thursday morning that the bus driver had accidentally been booked as a participant and another participant had canceled due to illness, the full price for the meal was charged for these two people! 😠😠 (Bus drivers of tour groups are usually catered for free!) With the drinks consumed, the tour group paid almost €1,000 in the 1.5 hours. You could probably have been so accommodating as not to charge for two meals. I will certainly not visit the Tepe Inn again and unfortunately I cannot recommend it! I also informed our bus company about this!

My wife and I wanted to have a nice evening at Tepe on our wedding day. You should actually give it a 6 minus. I had to get the plate for my meal myself from the entrance area. He was simply forgotten. The food was an imposition. The taste in particular was below all possibilities. Mr. Tepe received a detailed description of the process by letter. (No reaction) We should have left everything and then left this store, but we actually paid the bill in full. If a service is not provided, you cannot demand full payment of the invoice amount. We assume that the so-called menu for us probably came out of a bag and was not freshly prepared. So, the so-called inn will never see us again.

We celebrated our wedding at Gasthof Tepe on August 24th, 2024. The food was great, the service staff took care of everything and always made sure that every guest had something to drink. Can really recommend this location.

What an impudence! Unfortunately I only noticed it when I left the store!!!! I was charged for drinks that I never ordered and the monthly menu was really a joke, it didn't taste like anything, no salt, no pepper, just food that didn't taste like anything. On my first visit at the time of eating asparagus, the asparagus was so cooked that there was a real mess on my plate, the schnitzels are as stiff as leather and taste like shoe sole. The only thing that was really good was the salad! To be honest, I've come all the way from Hesse to visit my grandma because she's known you for a long time and always thought the senior boss was great and you could always have a good chat here and then such a huge disappointment. The lady with the short haircut really didn't make any effort to serve us; instead there was shouting and complaining in the kitchen. I really feel sorry for the trainee who works there...Not recommended!

We celebrated our wedding with 110 people at the Tepe Inn. The team around Stephan Tepe played a big part in making it our dream wedding. The price-performance ratio is very good and the offer can be combined flexibly. We could rely on the planning and communication in advance. The food was amazing, everyone was thrilled. The service staff behind the counter were great and did a great job. Finally, the layout of the hall is simply great. Our highlight was the bar right on the dance floor. We can only recommend the inn as a wedding location.

We had the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet (brunch) on Easter Sunday. The staff was friendly and the price was completely reasonable. The food was good and plentiful. We particularly liked the fact that you didn't have to pay extra for coffee, tea, sparkling wine and two types of juice It has to be included in the price. Here you are sometimes being ripped off by others. Keep it up.

Went for Easter brunch today. Unfortunately, my 93-year-old mother could not take part instead of the 3 people. However, we had to pay for 3 people. Not okay because others ate for 4! This was the second Easter brunch, but it couldn't be compared to the previous year. Food had no seasoning and the fish buffet was definitely smaller. It's a shame, there won't be a third time for us and there won't be a positive review either.

We were at Tepe for Christmas. The buffet was okay, but nothing special. Solid 3 stars for the food. Unfortunately the atmosphere was disappointing for Christmas. Maximum 2 stars. It didn't feel particularly festive and was very restless due to the buffet and the many guests. Unfortunately, I didn't get into a festive mood. What was unfortunately really bad is that the service was inflexible. The service at the table was completely ok, but one child had to pay the full price when paying because he had not been registered beforehand. We paid almost 500 euros and then something like that. That's just not good customer service. Such stubbornness and lack of flexibility scared us away as customers. This is really a shame and unnecessary.

We were at Tepes at the turn of the year 2023/24 and are completely thrilled!! The food was simply fantastic - there's no other way to describe it. The service was very friendly and on the ball. We will be back definitely. Thank you!!

The service was first class. Very attentive and quick. The billing was well thought out. Unfortunately the food wasn't warm enough and not like what I usually get from Tepe. We were a little disappointed. The sweet wine was so sour, that no one at the table wanted to drink it. Maybe change the type. But the prices were okay.

We've been there several times now and the same thing every time. Unfriendly staff, problems with billing, food is only satisfactory. Christmas breakfast isn't worth it, sick people still had to pay. The price wasn't worth it.

Das Preisniveau bewegt sich im oberen Mittelbereich. Der Service ist nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung!

Einfach nur genial. Wir waren schon beim betreten des Gasthofes begeistert. Alle Tische dekorativ eingedeckt. Kaum waren wir drin wurden wir nett begrüßt und zum Tisch begleitet. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich und schon beim Lesen bekommt man Appetit. Dann kam das Essen, wunderschön angerichtet, sehr lecker gewürzt, es dampfte aus den Schüsseln und war sehr reichlich. Also einfach wunderbar. Auch die Toiletten sehr modern und sauber. Echt klasse. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend und weiterhin möglichst viele zufriedene Gäste.

War als Veganerin hier essen und es gab eine tolle Auswahl. Alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kleine Fauxpas wie etwas Erde im Salat und schleimige Salatblätter. Dafür war der Geschmack vom restlichen Essen super.

Wir haben Tepe Catering ausgewählt auf unserer Hochzeit im Juni ein kaltes Buffet auf die Prinz Heinrich in Leer zu liefern. Die Kommunikation im Voraus war unkompliziert, etwaige Änderungswünsche wurden problemlos umgesetzt, bzw. selbst von Tepe vorgeschlagen (Stichwort Unverträglichkeiten). Die Lieferung erfolgte pünktlich und alles wurde ansehnlich arrangiert. Geschmacklich waren die verschiedenen Häppchen alle durch die Bank weg sehr gut, unsere Gäste waren ebenso begeistert wie wir. Da es im Vorfeld einige Unsicherheit unsererseits gab, wie viel wir zu bestellen hatten, haben wir uns auf die Empfehlung von Tepe verlassen und die Menge hat genau gepasst.

Das Essen war super heiss und gut gewürzt, es war ein Genuss.

Ein Besuch lohnt sich immer. Gutes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Speisen lecker und ansprechend angerichtet. Nettes Servicepersonal. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Da wir positiv begeistert wurden bei der Feier von Freunden haben wir uns bereits vor 2,5 Jahren für diesen Gasthof entschieden und die Lokalität reserviert. Wir haben nun am 12.08 unsere hölzerne Hochzeit hier feiern dürfen und waren wirklich mehr als zufrieden. Jeder Servicemitarbeiter der am Abend vor Ort war, war absolut motiviert, freundlich und hat Alles gegeben damit wir und unsere Gäste einen schönen Abend haben. Das Essen war absolut grandios und tadellos ***** 5Sterne dafür. Jeder unserer 125 Gäste war begeistert und auch jetzt noch eine Woche später erwähnen rückwirkend Viele wie super sie das Essen und den reibungslosen Ablauf beim Service fanden! Geschmacklich, Vielfalt und Menge beim Menü waren mehr als zufriedenstellend!!! Wir bedanken uns nochmal ganz ganz herzlich bei allen Beteiligten von unserer Feier und können mit ruhigem Gewissen den Gasthof Tepe weiterempfehlen. Ich hoffe wir sehen uns bald wieder. Ich war hier auf einer Hochzeitsfeier. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Essen war super und ganz Dickes Lob an das Personal. Sehr schnell und dazu noch super freundlich.

Der Gasthof Tepe hat den Service unserer Hochzeitsfeier ausgerichtet. Die Besonderheit war, dass wir nicht im Saal des Gasthofs gefeiert haben sondern extern in einer alten Bauernscheune. Die gesamte Planung, Organisation und Lieferung von Equipment wie Stühle, Tische, Theke etc. sowie der Auf- und Abbau erfolgten durch Herrn Tepe und sein Team. Am Ende sah es einfach traumhaft aus. Das Service-Personal am Abend war zudem ein Faktor, der unsere Hochzeit unvergessen macht: man konnte merken, dass das Personal selbst richtig Spaß und Lust hatte. Sie waren immer sehr aufmerksam, sehr schnell und haben alle Wünsche unserer Gäste erfüllt. Das Essen war sehr reichhaltig und absolut lecker. Wir konnten sogar am Folgetag noch einige Leute satt bekommen. Die Getränkeauswahl war ebenso sehr gut. Alles in allem - und besonders weil es uns Herr Tepe möglich gemacht hat, unsere Hochzeit im Scheunenflair auszurichten - war es für uns eine perfekte Hochzeitsfeier und bedanken uns dafür, dass der Gasthof Tepe einen großen Teil dazu beitragen hat. Wir können den Gasthof uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Alles top auch unser Bedienung Jürgen, nur das man ab 22 Uhr die Fenster schließen muss weil die Nachbarn meckern ist inakzeptable. Die sollen unsere Jugend die nur einmal Abschluss haben, feiern lassen, es ist ja auch nur am Wochenende und nicht ständig.
