Gute Getränkeauswahl, geniessbares Essen. War an einem Tag dort, an dem es extrem voll war. Bei der Lautstärke war es dann recht ungemütlich und stressig, was aber dem hohen Betrieb geschuldet war. Mit weniger Gästen sicher schön für gemeinsamen Abend mit Freunden.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, das Restaurant ist schön gestaltet, und der Service war schnell und freundlich. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Der Chef ist ein Möchtegern, der einem nicht erklären kann warum er 32 DM/16€ für einen erbärmlichen Salat haben will. Wird direkt frech. Einmal....und tschüss.

Dieses Mal haben mein Mann und ich uns für den BBQ-Lachs und die Spareribs entschieden – und wurden definitiv nicht enttäuscht. Mein Mann war von seinen Spareribs geschmacklich total begeistert, ebenso von den Beilagen, die wirklich hervorragend abgestimmt waren. Auch die Portionsgröße lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig – man wird mehr als satt. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Spareribs könnten noch etwas länger gegart werden, damit sich das Fleisch noch leichter vom Knochen löst. Ich selbst war schon öfter hier und kann aus voller Überzeugung auch andere Gerichte empfehlen – besonders den Lachs, die Bandnudeln, den Grillteller und die Mac’n Cheese sind jedes Mal ein Genuss. Mein absoluter Lieblingsdrink war bisher der Cosmopolitan, aber heute habe ich mich mal an einer Mango Margarita versucht (auf dem Foto zu sehen) – und ich muss sagen: eine richtig gute Entscheidung! Auch diesen Cocktail kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Ein weiteres Highlight ist das Getränk auf dem zweiten Bild mit der Flasche im Glas – erhältlich sowohl alkoholfrei als auch mit Alkohol. Hier wurde ich wirklich sehr gut beraten. Generell war der Service wieder einmal top: Die Kellner:innen waren durchweg aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den Besuch zusätzlich abgerundet hat.

Die New York Bar ist nett, aber vor allen etwas für jüngere Jahrgänge. Aber schön es das 8n Kerpen gibt.

Wir kommen hier gerne hin, vor allem vor einem Kinobesuch. Der Service ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist immer lecker, frisch und reichlich - vor allem den Nachtisch können wir sehr empfehlen. Die Cocktails sind ebenfalls sehr gut, der Ipanema special ist in der Tat speziell. :) Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren in der Nähe und haben uns spontan entschieden. Es war leer und wir haben uns für einen großen Ecktisch entschieden. (5 Personen) Das Essen war sehr lecker und Frisch. Sogar die Pommes sind selber gemacht, keinen TK Ware. Es ist wirklich empfehlenswert und wir werden definitiv öfters kommen, wenn wir hier in der Nähe sind.

We had reserved a table on the terrace today. The ambiance, the staff, the food, and the service were, as always, top-notch. The team at the NewYorkbar went above and beyond, as always. However, an extremely unfriendly gentleman was there for a short time. He wanted a table on the terrace that had already been reserved, but couldn't get it. Despite the staff offering him all sorts of other table options, this gentleman was extremely rude to the staff and then left. I just saw his review here and reported it to Google because it is absolutely not true. This Mr. Balaban, according to his profile in his review, neither ate nor drank anything at the NewYorkbar. Despite the construction work on the street, there were still plenty of parking spaces available in the cinema parking lot. I find it really sad that he posted such a bad review here on Google just because he was frustrated. Personally, I find it really sad that people are becoming increasingly rude just because they didn't get their way.

Nice atmosphere and what interested me most was the ceiling lighting. The burger reminded me a lot of Hans im Glück. The food came quickly and the drinks were accompanied by chips as a little gift. We also asked 2-3 times whether everything was satisfactory. Plus club music which is very entertaining.

The bar generally has friendly staff, but unfortunately I also had some negative experiences. Some wait staff seem more concerned with chatting with female guests than caring for all guests. As a result, the service sometimes suffers noticeably, which I think is a shame. A stronger customer orientation would be desirable here.

I've always enjoyed being here. We usually go with a larger group. The last time we were here was just the two of us and it will be the last time for a long time! We ordered drinks and later each ordered a starter. That was enough food for us for now. We communicated that too. The bar was only two-thirds full and yet we were asked for more orders every 5 minutes. The waitresses took turns. It was clearly organized. If it had been full and they needed the space I would have understood it, but not like that. We then broke off because it was extremely annoying and we kept getting pulled out of the conversation. You were given a very strong message that you would only be wanted if you ordered more straight away. After a while I paid because it was no longer bearable and we went somewhere else and ordered main meals there later in the evening.

On site we were rushed to do it quickly and the explanation of the dishes was very unsympathetic. When asked to let the kitchen know that another order was coming, he didn't respond at all. We were there today for a birthday. And I'm really negatively surprised. My girlfriend has probably been here a few times and thought it was good, but what was going on today, well. So 1 the food. Positive, it came quickly…. And it tasted good at first. However, the portions are very lean... Spare ribs were 2 small ribs and the chicken tenders were 4/5 pieces the size of normal crispy nuggets. That's just not enough food for almost 40 euros. I wasn't full afterward. I also had to go to the toilet about 15 minutes after I was finished… very bad sign. By the way, I'm sitting on the toilet at home right now and writing this review. The service was ok, there's nothing bad to say but nothing really good to say either. The ambience really wasn't that nice. The chairs were uncomfortable for taller people, in poor condition and it was very cramped, loud and crowded. As the hour progressed the music became louder and louder so that you could no longer talk to the people next to you and the quality of the music system also left a lot to be desired. All in all, I cannot recommend visiting this restaurant or bar. The cocktails are probably very good there… But I don't drink so I probably won't come back.

A bar to drink cocktails. Because they are actually a real eye-catcher 🤩 and the menu of drinks is more extensive than the menu. As for the food... well... noodles aren't the real deal. The salmon is perfect, but really mini mini for the price. Unfortunately, they can't match the burgers from my favorite burger shop. 🤷‍♀️ I think the grilled chicken breast is great. 👌 A great location for a cocktail or two before or after the cinema. Service is quick and happy to help if you don't know what you want to drink. Just say what you feel like. I recommend reserving a table, as at peak times (e.g. ladies' evening or weekends) it is very crowded and then very, very loud. 🙉

We were there for dinner on Saturday after finding the restaurant by chance on Google. What I would most like to highlight is the very friendly and courteous staff - it's rare to receive such polite and nice service these days! I had the grilled chicken, which was very, very tasty. My companion had a burger, which wasn't the best, but still good. The portions are very large and the cocktails are very tasty. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. We also liked the music and the ambience. We'll definitely be back!

Die Bar ist richtig schön, das Essen und der Service super. Einziges Manko ist leider die Lautstärke dort. Es schallt und wenn die Bar voll ist muss man sich schon anbrüllen, wenn man sich verständigen möchte.

Leider sind 5 das Maximum an Sternen. Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal dort. Ich bin selten so herzlich & aufmerksam begrüßt & bedient wurden. Ich komm gerne wieder & werde es auch weiter erzählen.

Das Essen war super lecker, jedoch war das Lokal sehr voll, wodurch die Stimmung wirklich laut war. Im besten Fall lieber einen Tisch reservieren. Für jeden, der es ruhig und romantischag beim Essen, ist dieses Lokal nichts , dennoch würde ich es wegen des guten essen nochmals besuchen .

1A Service! Die Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Lokal ist sehr gemütlich und sehr sauber. Die Qualität von meinem Steak war absolut gut und auf den Punkt gebraten. Das Dessert hat das ganze perfekt abgerundet. Es gibt nahezu jeden Drink in der Bar und lädt auch nach dem Essen noch zum längerem verweilen ein. Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Meine Frau und ich haben am Samstag Abend spontan in der Bar gegessen. Neben einem wirklich dezenten aber äußerst aufmerksamen Service waren wir von dem Essen wirklich begeistert. Ich habe einen scharfen Burger (> einer der besten Burger die ich in meinem Leben je gegessen habe) und meine Frau den Lachs bestellt. Tolle Fleisch und Fischqualität. Der selbstgemachte Nachtisch (Schokobrownie und Käsekuchen) hat total überzeugt und den Hinweis in der Karte (Housemade) bestätigt, keine Tiefkühlware. Dafür ist der Preis definitiv passend! Wir kommen mit Sicherheit sehr bald wieder!

Das hätte ich dem Servicepersonal auch gerne mitgeteilt, wenn man denn beim Abräumen gefragt worden wäre, ob es geschmeckt hat. Da ist in vielerlei Hinsicht noch sehr viel Luft nach oben.
