We went to New Day Vietnam with the whole family and had a wonderful time. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which made our visit very pleasant. The food was extremely tasty, we were particularly impressed by the authentic Vietnamese flavors. The portions were relatively small, which is of course a matter of taste, but overall we felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend the restaurant. We'd love to come back!

We come here often, very solid restaurant with a variety of Vietnamese dishes. The people who work here are very, very nice and the food has always been excellent.

Very very nice place, located right at the beginning of a street full of shops and clubs. Excellent and very fast service. Very good food and perfect price for the quantities that are put on the plates. For a huge dish like the one in the photo for just 12 euros. Nothing to say! 5 out of 5.

All dishes were very freshly prepared. The sauces went perfectly with it. The grilled duck was great!

Unfortunately the food here has gone downhill. The last few years I've had a generous portion of vegetables on my plate. This time it was a few carrots and bamboo strips, nothing more, very disappointing. Plus a very salty sauce... But the service is always very nice and the ambience is super nice! You know how good food works, please make it like it used to be 💓

We always come here when we are in Berlin. The only spring rolls I know that don't come from a factory. Here we still cook our own food and do it very well. Still quite reasonable prices.

Price/performance good. For 10-12€ you get a delicious meal in a pleasant atmosphere. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. A few vegetables with the duck, otherwise it tastes really good. There are also more traditional dishes and not the “typical” Asian dishes. Unfortunately there was a bit of an unpleasant smell in the restaurant.

Been here a few times over the years now, and it's always been good. Great service, consistently good food, calm atmosphere. Occasionally the soundtrack can be TOO calming to the point where we wondered if they were trying to put us all to sleep at the table with 24/7 Eepy Songs to Relax to, but other than that there's really no way to dislike this spot.

Mediocre food. Not worth the visit

I was here with our school class on a school trip. I was happy that there was something decent to eat again after my intestines had been tortured in our hostel over the weekend. I ordered a portion of soup and duck with rice. Soup 10/10; Duck with rice 5/10. The curry sauce was too hearty (greasy) for my taste but still not bad. The service was very nice and the food was ready relatively quickly. I look forward to coming back if necessary and to an exceptional, delicious soup. Found it by chance and loved it. Soup with chicken and noodles first, grilled duck with vegetables as the main course. Very tasty and the vegetables are nice and crunchy. Gladly again.

We are always very happy to be there. + all dishes are always fresh and delicious + fried duck on a hot pan in peanut sauce, best + nice owner + good atmosphere + great facility + Glazed kitchen, you can watch the preparation + more or less a local restaurant, half the neighborhood eats here 😁 We used to eat here very often because it was always excellent and tasty at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, like everywhere else, it has become more expensive here, prices are still fair and the food is still excellent, but unfortunately we are still rarely there. You just can't afford it as often as you used to.

Food was quite good. Had the 32 with extra rice. Service was a little slow but very nice. The portion could have been a little larger, but otherwise everything was great. Very nice atmosphere.

Ммм цікаві смаки, не схожі на інші азійські заклади, приємний інтер'єр (але чомусь грала одна й та ж сама мелодія в традиційному стилі, так ще й якась з сумними нотками, це було не дуже) Сподобалось все що спробував, було смачно!

The Soup with wonton didn't have the kick the Pho soups have but was still quite tasty.

Inmitten weiterer Restaurants und im Szenebereich in Berlin-Friedrichshain, liegt dieses beschauliche vietnamesische Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und wirkt authentisch, leichte Klaviermusik lässt den Trubel draußen vergessen. Der Kellner war freundlich und schnell, die Küche war sehr schnell fertig. Das Essen war köstlich und lecker, zu einem sehr angenehmen Preis. Es gibt einen Außenbereich an einer befahrenen Straße, Parkplätze sind hier Mangelware und sehr teuer. Besser wäre mit dem ÖPNV zu kommen, der nicht weit weg ist.

No tengo nada malo que expresar. Los meseros fueron super simpáticos y nos daban un poco de contexto gastronómico de los platos que pedimos. No tuvimos que reservar, no hicimos fila, llegamos un día viernes a la hora de cena y encontramos lugar de inmediato aunque el lugar estaba lleno. La zona dónde está situado el restaurante es súper agradable y hay muchos cines independientes, bares, restaurantes, teatros y parques. Y el punto más importante... La comida estaba increíblemente rica.

The grilled duck is excellent. I did find a long, light colored hair in my noodles. How is that even possible? Nobody in my party had that color hair, nor did any of the kitchen staff. I was as baffled as the manager was. Anyway he offered a generous .90 euro discount for my issue. But I got the feeling he didn’t really believe me because there was no apology for serving food with a hair in it. I want to reiterate the duck is good enough that I would probably go back. Will be thoroughly checking my dish before taking a bite next time, however.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes vietnamesisches Restaurant. Vegetarische Reisbandnudeln waren ok, aber nicht überragend. Die Sauce hatte kaum Geschmack und scheinbar hatten sich in die Sauce Stückchen von Hühnchen geschlichen. Das ist nicht in Ordnung für ein vegetarisches Gericht. Schade war, dass die Bedienung nicht freundlich war. Die Teller wurden uns ziemlich schroff hingestellt.

Ausgezeichnetes Restaurant, ausgezeichnete Speisekarte und ein phänomenaler Service. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist köstlich und die Preise sind super günstig.

With so many Vietnamese restaurants in Friedrichshain you would expect a high standard in food . The food here lacked taste and resulted in our stomach feeling bad the entire evening.

Staff and place were nice, but the food unfortunately wasn’t. Pho tofu was really not good, I think it’s the worst I had in Friedrichshain from many many places. Our stomachs don’t feel great after eating the food either.

Simply the best grilled duck in Berlin. Seriously. They also have Grevensteiner and Bayreuther Beers on tap, both pretty good.

Food is absolutely stunning! With such variety of Vietnamese places in Berlin, this one stands out for sure. We go here regularly and it is simply amazing! Delicious food, nice decor, pleasant staff. Danke für den netten Service, das gute Essen und die flexibilität! Habe mit 25 Personen eine Feier gehabt und im hinteren Bereich gefeiert!

Leckeres vietnamesisches Essen zu guten Preisen, seit vielen Jahren gleichbleibende Qualität. Das Essen im New Day ist wirklich gut, die Auswahl ist groß und es ist für jede Ernährungsweise etwas dabei. Die Küche befindet sich in einem Glaskasten, sodass man bei der Zubereitung zusehen kann. Der Service ist immer freundlich und schnell. Der Innenraum ist recht groß und wirklich schön gestaltet, im hinteren Bereich gibt es sehr viele Pflanzen und aufwendige Dekorationen aus Schilf und Bambus, die das ganze zu etwas besonderem machen.

We got a table right away and had our food within 10 or so minutes of ordering! The food was amazing. I had the Pho Tron (lukewarm noodle salad) with tofu which was great for a warmer day instead of a hot dish. Both of the Vorspeisenteller were also very good!

Excellent food on the not so busy end of Simon-Dach-Strasse. A modern twist on traditional Vietnamese cooking. Highly recommended for price and quality.

Die Hühnersuppe war lecker dafür 1 stern der rest war gar nicht gut. Die Sommerrollen haben einfach nicht geschmeckt die haben da so ein Kräuter rein gemacht was die Rollen so dominiert hat.. die soßen sind auch überhaupt nicht köstlich. Entweder zu süß oder zu bitter 😖 Die leute hier scheinen an geschmacksverkalkung zu leiden ich dachte auf Rezensionen kann man sich verlassen🥲 Würde ich jetzt nicht empfehlen.. iwo in charlottenburg war so viel besser, dann doch lieber n stück weiter fahren.

Die Sommer Rollen und in Blätter gerollten Hackfleisch Rollen haben überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Die dort drin enthaltenen Kräuter haben den kompletten Geschmack dominiert und somit war es ungenießbar. Das Hühnerbrustfilet Gericht in einer Curry-Mango Soße mit Reis war ok. Die Soße zu wässrig und das Filet zu kalt. Das Ambiente war viel zu dunkel mit einer einschlafmusik/Melodie, dass gar keine Atmosphäre zum Essen gab. Fazit: nicht wirklich zum weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschön eingerichtetes Restaurant mit aufmerksamer und zügiger Bedienung. Leider war das Essen eine Enttäuschung: toll angerichtet, aber kaum gewürzt bzw. überwürzt. Schade, dass hier am Wichtigsten gespart wurde, einem gute Koch.

Very flavorful food. I'm not sure if it's authentic Vietnamese but it's not bland like other restaurants in Berlin.

The green tea was quite awful (cute china though) and I've eaten better Edamame, but the spinach starter was amazing. Overall we were satisfied and would go there again. Amazing interior (the floor sitting area was sadly not open today) no need to sit outside on the busy street.
