We eat here every now and then and have never been disappointed. The service is very accommodating and the food is really great.

The Simple has really improved. The food is very tasty and the portions are large. Nice restaurant, a bit cramped when full and always busy in the evenings. Reservations are necessary, even during the week. It would be possible to make reservations here at some point via Opentable or something similar. Service and employees are optimal and super friendly and fast. Great. The only drawback... No card payment!!! Come on Simple, this is standard, especially the prices are not low (but reasonable)!!!

My absolute favorite restaurant! I've been going there regularly for 4 years and I'm always impressed. The food is fantastic and the value for money is just right. Finally not a standard Asian restaurant, but a real discovery with super tasty dishes. No matter what I order, it always tastes fresh and aromatic. I can only recommend this restaurant!

The quality of the food has remained consistent over the years, but no new dishes are added or existing ones are not changed. Anyone who goes there regularly will say if it tastes good, why change the menu? You can tell from the furnishings, especially inside, that a renovation is due here. On our last visit in June 2024 (the restaurant) was not very busy, we decided to eat outside and allowed ourselves to sit at a table. All the seats were unoccupied and we also took blankets because it was a bit chilly. The waiter reacts in a bad mood because, as he said, he gets into trouble if guests sit down somewhere on their own. We order our food, one person unaware of us was an appetizer, it wasn't marked that way. The waiter could have recognized when everyone else was ordering a main course and pointed out that it was just an appetizer. Overall, the quality has deteriorated significantly. Too bad.

I always enjoy going there. The food and drinks are very tasty. We never have to wait long for our food. It is always beautifully prepared, especially the sushi. It's best to reserve a table. It is often well attended even during the week.

Update 2024 I am very disappointed with what has become of the great kitchen from back then. I've been coming here for years and it's a matter of luck whether my favorite dish, Glory Duck, turns out to be good or disastrous! Just picked up 3 dishes, the duck breast consists mainly of fatty rind covered with breading and was some kind of dry residue. The side salad is now hidden under the rice and is no longer packaged separately from the main course, completely muddied, as is the rice, completely soggy with the salad dressing. The vegetables are raw and cut way too big. VERY Pity!!!! **************************************** Finally a very good restaurant nearby. Something like that was really missing here! Everything is freshly prepared and very well balanced with great spices and herbs, it tastes great. A very well thought out concept, interior design and ambience is very pleasant and pretty. The service is very pleasant and friendly! Great menu with great food names. Even the drinks are amazing! You can tell that someone has really put some thought into this! Wish you much success, keep it up!

We have been coming to Simplé on and off for many years. The food is always very tasty and something special. Even when it is very busy, the food comes quickly, is of great quality and is beautifully presented. We have never had anything to complain about in terms of service. When it comes to drinks, the homemade lemonades are particularly highly recommended. The sanitary facilities are clean. There are plenty of free parking spaces available in the surrounding streets. If you want to go on the weekend, you should definitely make a reservation.

A new winner in the Spandau district. Definitely better than 5 stars so I don't know where to start. Starting with the warm welcome, continuing with an indescribably good homemade smoothie, right up to the incredible main course. Just how the dishes are prepared is great cinema. Went because of the good reviews. Unfortunately we cannot understand this. Well, I had the 25 with soy sauce, but it was almost only soy sauce, sorry, not my taste. In addition, there is probably a lot of work with nut sauce and sugar.

We have been regular customers at this great restaurant for 3 years (since we have lived here). Any food, whether sushi or warm, tastes uniquely excellent. I often pick up a portion and eat it at home. Here's a little story: I've actually always ordered the same thing for 3 years. Then one day I called again and ordered something different because we are now expecting a baby 🥰 and raw fish is no longer allowed. The boss, with whom we also like to have a short conversation or two, called me back and asked if I was sure because I always order something different. I was completely shocked. It only speaks for him and his amazing heart. He was also really happy when I told him the great news. He is, of course alongside his other nice colleagues, a really wonderful restaurant owner who works hard himself. We are happy to have found this restaurant as a regular restaurant. Delicious, good service and pleasant staff

Today we enjoyed seven delicious main courses that we all loved. The drinks were excellent and the ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant. The service was extremely professional and attentive. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that we would happily recommend.

Wow Simplé amazed with this one. We were hungry and saw a sushi bar. Thats how we end up here. The decoration is amazing. I was affraid they needed to make up for average food, luckily everything is excellent here. The staf, the atmosphere (the old pictures all over the place of Vietnam I guess. Now to the foods, we started with some Vietnamnese dishes the sate and salmon roll. It was perfectly fresh and delicious. For the headmenu I had Little Chicken and my wife had a Poke bowl Sifu Saké. The curry I had was spot on, the Sifu was well filled and was simply delicious. Their fresh lemonades are all so refreshing. Next time Berlin, we need to stop by this place.

The food is great and one of my favorite shops in Spandau/Staaken. The staff very nice and accommodating. The ambience of the restaurant is lovingly furnished down to the smallest detail. You feel invited and comfortable. You have to look for a parking space in the area or you can just take the bus to the front door. But for the ambience and food you are happy to accept this.

This place was beautiful. The service was timely and very personable. They have a menu in English upon request. Right off the main Road. I did not care for the fried bananas with honey and peanuts, sorry. But the rest of our experience there was exceptional. Drinks were also very well done

The food is really really good and the prices are absolutely fair. I would particularly like to praise the main courses, not a run-of-the-mill Asian, someone has really put some thought into this. Class! The ambience is also great, I like that there is no Asian music playing but general, subtle European music, thank you. The service could be a little more personal, for example no one asked us if we liked it or if everything was OK. There's something else going on. ;)

I have been a regular with my family for years. What's more, I've had more than 20 in the last 2 years! Introduced new guests who became regular customers. Here's what happened: I called as usual and the waitress with the black glasses answered the phone as she often does. She then suddenly told me, after years of my visit, that I only had 1.5 hours at the table. To order and eat. That really pissed me off and attempts to discuss it normally failed. Since the restaurant was close to my heart, I went there and actually wanted to see a certain waiter who was really super nice and absolutely professional. But he wasn't there that day and I went to her to clarify the matter. I asked, since when has it been the case that you are limited in time on the weekend? I've been coming here for years and it's never been mentioned. Then she answered me with a sentence that was quite insulting. “They don’t come here often enough, hence the 1.5 hours.” But a younger colleague came up behind her and said: “Yes, he’s here quite often.” The waitress then said that I would then have 2.5 hours. I found that really insulting. Then she advised me to call earlier next time so that I could give myself more time. Said and done; The next time I called a week earlier. Still, nothing changed, it was the waitress with the black glasses again. She gave me 2.5 hours again. I thought that was very cheeky, but I still accepted it at first because we had arranged to meet some friends there. On the day we were there with friends, we spent exactly 2 hours and 17 minutes there, only because the kitchen there didn't seem to keep up with the orders that day. That means we waited longer than usual for our food. However, this didn't bother me. But this information will become important later! In the weeks that followed, I always ordered takeout because I didn't feel like arguing and the restaurant was important to me. Then yesterday the highlight (April 19, 2024): I ordered takeaway again by phone. When I picked it up, my favorite waiter was there and he gave me a great greeting and we chatted. I was able to tell him why I was slightly upset. He completely understood me and apologized, we hugged. He gave me my favorite drink as an apology. I thanked him and wanted to go to the car with my wife. Almost at the exit, the “problem waitress” ran after us and shouted loudly in front of all the guests that I was a liar. All the guests at the front were looking at me and it was uncomfortable. She said loudly that last time I even got 3 hours and 17 minutes. AND THAT'S NOT TRUE. It was 2 hours and 17 minutes. That wasn't professional of her and what's more, she lied, not me. I went back to my favorite waiter. Put the drink back. I thanked him, but made it clear that I would never come back. It's a bad aftertaste when you're a long-time guest and suddenly you're given a time limit for eating. Even if 2.5 hours is enough, I personally don't want anyone to dictate how much time I have to eat. I'm not a sausage from an assembly line or anything like that. And I don't know anything like that from anyone!!! other restaurant. And we know some in the family. It's a shame that it had to happen like this. But you don't have to put up with something like that.

The food was very, very tasty and the presentation was also bombastic. The vegan options according to the menu were very limited. The toilet was small and dark and the food wasn't cheap. I paid €26 for one person (including a non-alcoholic drink). For the ambience it was very nice. But nothing regular for me, it was a bit too expensive.

We had dinner at Simple this evening (last time (2023) I had a small mini Pho Saigon & it was really good), in anticipation I ordered a large Pho Saigon today, unfortunately it was very bland today and didn't really taste good tasted like something. So I left a three-quarter portion, and when the waiter asked, we told him that unfortunately the soup today wasn't as good as last time, whereupon he asked if he could bring us something else (we had just before Already ordered 2 teas from the waitress, she ignored the three quarters full plate), we then said we would like to drink the tea on the house... when the bill came, the tea was charged in full, even when we pointed it out to her, There was no way that this had been discussed with her colleague, she would have already registered him, which is why he now has to be paid... customer loyalty works differently somehow... we won't go to Simple again for the time being... It's a shame, because the shop itself is nicely decorated, but it doesn't help if the food doesn't taste good.

Food was ok. Service bad. We waited forever for drinks and food. When drinks were ordered again. Nothing happened for another 30 minutes. The food was eaten. We then asked for the bill and then pointed out that we no longer needed the drinks.

Haven't been here for a few months. Unfortunately, number 26, I had severe stomach pain for several hours and I had to go to the toilet more often. There is also severe heartburn. I went to Simple for lunch with my wife today. We've eaten here a few times before. It's always super delicious. Today I had the Golden Duck with a light peanut sauce. As a starter we had a salad with beef strips and lime dressing. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back soon. The service is really outstanding. Everyone was super friendly and attentive.

Very good food...whether it's a spring roll starter or a main course, it's just good. Drinks took a bit long.. But the store was packed..

When my husband showed up, it turned out my order wasn't even recorded! 30 km covered in vain and senseless. Not to mention they completely ruined my Sunday evening. Regrettable.

The first time we were there was in the early afternoon, but we had planned for December 29th. Reserved a table in the evening, had a really tasty meal there the first time, thought it would be our new place, wasn't that full, everything was right, atmosphere, ambience and service, the disillusionment came on December 29th. Yes, it was completely booked, they had been busy, but the flavor of the ingredients was not at all comparable to the first visit, the feeling when leaving was, well, you don't necessarily have to go there again, and our companions thought so too , mediocre 🙃

The food was very good. I didn't find the quality of the Aperol Spritz particularly good. Too flat and a bit overpriced for the size. The only drawback was that it was very cold and the heating wasn't on.
