We celebrated a big birthday with a small buffet in the garden hall. The food tasted good and the selection was limited according to your budget. But there were three different salads and two side dishes to choose from. There was plenty of everything and we ate what we could. The tables were beautifully decorated. The service was very friendly and understanding. Thank you very much, gladly again.

Wir kommen seit es die Neue Schmiede gibt. Nie vergleichbar, trotzdem immer gut. Doch diesmal war beinahe alles ein bisschen anders. Essen: 4 von 5 frisches Gemüse, einiges selbstgemacht, Auswahl klein mit viel Standard und internationaler Ausnahme, hübsch angerichtet, zu wenig Saucen, lasch gewürzt, Würzer auf Nachfrage und unbefriedigend. Tiere aus der Masse. Es war sättigend aber wir waren trotzdem nicht glücklich. Service: 1 von 5 4 Anläufe, bevor die richtigen Getränke am Tisch waren. Bei unseren alkoholfreien Bieren war allgemeine Unsicherheit. Der Versuch zur Klärung war fragwürdig. Man nahm dann lieber ein Wasser aber sogar das kam mit Gas obwohl still der Wunsch war. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich. Wirkte trotzdem hilflos, unaufmerksam und desinteressiert. Kinder: 3 von 5 Im Außenbereich gab es bei unserem letzten Sommer Besuch eine Schaukel und Brunnen. Keine Kindergerichte auf der Karte. Aber Stühle gibt’s wohl und wir sahen in der Vergangenheit auch Kinder, die mit Spielzeug vom Personal ausgestattet wurden. Wir haben aber nie danach gefragt. Preis: 2 von 5 Preis im Verhältnis zur Menge und Qualität der Produkte im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Restaurants eine Frechheit. Diese Lokalität hat aber keinen Verzehrzwang. Man kann sitzen, ohne etwas zu kaufen. Wenn man es doch tut, muss man ganz schön in die Tasche greifen zu dem was man kriegt. Parken/Anreise: 4 von 5 kostenpflichtige Parkflächen vor dem Restaurant. Parkhaus wenige Meter entfernt. Eigene Bushalte für den Bethelbus. Zur Bahn sind es ein paar Gehminuten. Ambiente: 2 von 5 Das Haus ist nett. Fläche groß, hellhörig, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und trotzdem bequem. Inzwischen etwas lieblos, Tische waren zum Großteil dreckig. Wir versuchen es im Sommer wieder. Der Biergarten ist einzigartig und nebelt die Sicht über den Rest. Fazit: 2,5 von 5 Hatten wir anders in Erinnerung. Barrierefrei, zwanglos, mit Glück bemüht, freundlich, lecker, trotzdem noch hungrig und vergleichsweise teuer. Wir wissen, dass es der herzlichste Ort in Bielefeld ist. Trotzdem können wir gar nicht glauben, was wir letzte Woche erlebt haben. So viel Geld für den Abend… wir reißen uns zusammen bei dieser Bewertung und erhoffen uns Nachbesserung in allen Punkten. Wir haben uns nie unwillkommener gefühlt.

Silver wedding brunch Immediately after the preparatory meeting with the event manager, we had a very good feeling and confidence that the organization was in the best hands. The atmosphere in the hall was simply perfect. The tables are lovingly and festively set. The decoration suited our event perfectly. The service was very attentive, friendly and professional. All of this made our day a very special event. The brunch buffet offered a very large selection: Fresh rolls and croissants, a variety of cold cuts, cheese, scrambled eggs with crispy bacon and sausages. Muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad and fruit juices, through to delicious warm dishes and delicious desserts. Not to forget the great fresh cake with your coffee! It was an all-round successful experience that delighted all guests. We can highly recommend this restaurant - it made our silver wedding anniversary an unforgettable experience! Thank you very much for that!!

I've been here a few times. From the outside it doesn't look particularly inviting... but this impression immediately changes for the better as soon as you enter the entrance. Inside and outside (beer garden) totally cozy, beautiful and designed with love. You really feel comfortable. The food is super tasty and the wait staff is very friendly... even if every now and then something isn't quite understood correctly, it's immediately corrected. I like coming here and will definitely come again. Really recommended, keep it up!🍻

We had a large event in the garden hall and were warmly welcomed. The hall is beautifully furnished and very bright. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a nice celebration and will probably come back for dinner sometime.

I have been to the Neue Schmiede several times and have been extremely impressed with the pizza on previous visits (the dough itself is extremely tasty, as well as a wide variety of options for toppings. Today it was the turn of the Bali Burger, one of the many vegetarian options on the menu. Very soft, delicious roll, overall a well-done composition. Service is outstanding, the wait staff are extremely attentive, service at the table is quick. The prices are absolutely reasonable and even on the lower side. Absolutely always a recommendation to eat here!

The Schmiede is a restaurant in which disabled people are integrated into the normal restaurant operations. Great service with special encounters are guaranteed. The selection is good. The large salad with a choice of other ingredients is recommended. The Neue Schmiede is therefore a very good starting point for all guests and residents of Bethel who don't want to have to navigate Bielefeld's city center traffic.

I ordered a pizza. It should be sharp. The pizza was a soft flatbread and without any spiciness. An extra 1.50 euros were charged for the imperceptible and invisible “chilli powder”. That's what you call the take-along mentality.

I visited the Neue Schmiede during my rehabilitation. It's absolutely quaint and cozy there. The Neue Schmiede was always well attended. I think with a larger group it's better to make a reservation. I particularly like the fact that this is obviously an inclusive company. I think it's great that people with disabilities are given the opportunity to work there. I'm happy to accept that a drink might be forgotten or that it might take a little longer to pay. The drinks and food were always TOP! There I got the most beautifully prepared currywurst fries of my life The prices are absolutely fine.

The staff very attentive and particularly friendly. We had cake 🎂, it tasted very good. The Irish beer 🍺 was also very good. We found the rooms very comfortable.

Delicious food and very nice service.

We were in the hall for an event. Everything went well. With a wheelchair you could sit right in front. Only the chairs are real instruments of torture. Next time I will take a seat cushion with me, which I highly recommend to other future participants. Therefore 1 star less. Since we weren't in the guest room, I can't say anything about the other questions.

The new forge is a special place, where old and young meet, with and without restrictions. The service is outstanding, the food is inexpensive and very tasty 😋! My salami pizza was a delight, as was my wife's burger!

Great great great. Thank you for everything. In March we had a graduation meeting with 60 people in the garden hall. The atmosphere was perfect for that. Own counter, cloakroom and toilets. Away from the other guests. Acoustics for chatting and exchanging ideas were great. The staff was very young and super friendly and made everything possible that you needed. Big praise to the 18-year-old “boss” of the evening, well done and super professional. Great recommendation, we'll be back.

Great concept, good and cheap food, friendly service.

Food is delicious but I waited 2 hours for it. That's definitely too long. I've only had good experiences so far, but today on this strange night they were apparently completely overwhelmed. Which is a real shame. Unfortunately, the drinks only came sporadically. If you order from different people you have a good chance of getting at least 1 drink. The service is really nice and tried hard, but it doesn't help if you don't get anything to drink or eat. Of course this doesn't apply to everyone. There were also incredibly quick and reliable people present. I think the concept today just went wrong. Otherwise I can't really complain about the new forge. But today unfortunately it didn't work at all. 😅

Wir waren mit 5 Leuten bei der Silvesterparty. Die Räumlichkeiten sind toll dafür, die Stimmung war klasse. Der DJ hat gute Arbeit gemacht und die unterschiedlichen Publikumswünsche gut sortiert. Der Service klappte reibungslos, auch noch nach Mitternacht. Danke dafür. Das Buffet war sehr fleisch-lastig, aber es gab zumindest eine vegetarische Alternative und ein Fischgericht. Damit die Fleischesser nach Mitternacht nicht vom Fleisch fallen, gab es dann noch eine Gulaschsuppe. Wer kein Fleisch isst oder sich gesund und ausgewogen ernährt, schaute in die Röhre.

Das Angebot war gut und das Essen auch die Konzerte auch und kann es nur weiterempfehlen

Zusammen mit den Events im Saal immer wieder schön, hier auch zu essen, jedoch (und das ist der Grund für nur 4 Sterne) wenn es gut gefüllt ist, erhöht sich die Lautstärke im Raum auf eine unangenehme Art, so dass man sich nicht mehr gut unterhalten kann.

Ich komme dort seit Jahren zur OWL-Konferenz der Werkstatträte mit der Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut. Wärend der Konferenz wurden wir mit Tee, Kaffee und Wasser verköstigt. Auch Abends alla Carte ist die Schmiede sehr gut. Es gibt dort Räumlichkeiten für jeden Anlass. Von gemütlich bis funktional alles da. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.❤️

Da Essen ist ganz gut. Das Konzertangebot, speziell Folk Musik 🎶 ist ebenfalls recht gut 👍

"Hervorragendes Essen!" "Das Essen war vorzüglich!" "Du hast super gekocht!" Nein, habe ich nicht, aber die Köche der "Neuen Schmiede" haben sich übertroffen. Das Menü "Für die kalte Jahreszeit" war qualitativ auf einer Ebene mit den sehr guten Restaurants in Bielefeld. Problemlos wurde Saibling gegen Schweinefilet getauscht, auf Änderungen bei der Personenzahl und beim Ablauf wurde flexibel reagiert. Organisation, Service und Ambiente – alles war stimmig. Das Team der Neuen Schmiede und den Gartensaal kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen und um sicher zu gehen, dass mir 2025 keiner zuvor kommt, reserviere ich schon mal ...

Kleine Karte, günstiges aber gutes Essen. Aufgrund des Konzeptes des Hauses braucht man bei Service etwas Geduld und Verständnis, dafür isst man günstig und gut.

Gemütliche kleine Lokalität in Bethel mit Inklusionsarbeit. Die Karte ist recht übersichtlich, aber das Essen sehr lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich aber manchmal etwas langsamer. Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Wir waren in der Schmiede,um nach Jahren mal wieder Quadro Nuevo zu sehen. Akustisch / Musikalisch war es vom Thema,eine laue Sommernacht, wieder sehr vielseitig. Zwischen den Stücken wurde nochmal zum Stück,zum schmunzeln,etwas erzählt. Wir haben die Gruppe im Bunker 2005 kennenlernt. Gegessen haben wir im Lokal/Restaurant nichts. Meine Musikfreunde tranken ein trübes Detmolder, und ich nahm mal eine Cola.

Sehr schlechter Service,Kellner hatten keine Ahnung von Nichts, dreckige Tische..... Die Currywurst war nur eine kleine Bratwurst mit einem klecks Soße und kalten Pommes.(Es gab auch keine Nachfrage nach einem neuen Gericht,bei Nachfrage sehr unfreundlich und uneinsichtig)Pommes Gericht war kalt,beim Burger waren die Patties komplett verbrannt. Alles in allem eine einfache Katastrophe zu viel zu hohen Preisen. Nie wieder!!!!

Der Ort um sich in entspannter Atmosphäre in Bethel zum Essen zu treffen. Resveeiren sollte man, am Wochenende. Der Service kam schnell, und hat nach unseren Wünschen gefragt. Leider hat der Service zum Ende nachgelassen. Burger war außerordentlich gut.

Super nettes Ambiente, Biergarten, Terrasse in der Sonne ab dem Nachmittag und tolle Qualität aller Speisen. Selbst eine Pizza Margherita wird hier zum Highlight. Burger vegetarisch und mit Fleisch, die selbst gute Esser an ihr Limit bringen. Wir werden wiederkommen und freuen uns heute schon drauf👍

Gute und große Burger, tolle Pizzen. Nur der Latte Machiatto hat etwas zu wenig Koffein, ist geschmacklich aber gut. Das Lokal ist schön gestaltet und angenehm zum Verweilen. Das WC ist sauber; geräumiges Behinderten-WC sowie barrierefreier Zugang zum Lokal sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Das Highlight ist aber die schöne Terrasse und der ruhige Garten hinter dem Gebäude. Dort kann man bei sommerlichen Temperaturen seine Mahlzeit im Freien genießen. Geraucht werden darf draußen am Tisch ebenfalls.

Nettes Lokal mit hervorragender Küche. Ich hatte die Pizza Pancetta welche wirklich sehr sehr lecker war. Die Nachspeisen waren toll angerichtet und konnten auch geschmacklich überzeugen. Der Service war auch sehr freundlich und schnell.
