Unfortunately, it's now too expensive.

Great fast food place with fantastic dishes. The plates looked delicious and, according to friends, were really good, but my pita was a bit dry, hence the one-star deduction. The toilet and faucet were very outdated. I think a sensor, pressure, or lever faucet would be much better than the old rotary ones. One more star deducted because card payment wasn't possible.

I ordered via Uber Eats today. A taxi plate with extra onions, a gyro pizza, and extra tzatziki. The gyro pizza was okay but small. Taxi plate: The fries were crispy and the portion was good. The currywurst was okay but tasted more like shish kebab sauce. The gyro portion was a joke: 2 tablespoons mixed with the sauce. The tzatziki portion for €4.80 is ridiculous. 2 tablespoons, even though the pictures show a large salad bowl.

A typical Greek snack bar. From fries to taxi plates to typical Greek dishes, there's something for everyone here. The classic gyro with its very well-seasoned meat and fair price was highly recommended.

The gyro dumplings are incredibly delicious and the price is more than fair. The meat is juicy and the tzatziki is spicy. The plates are very lovingly prepared. The staff is friendly. A definite recommendation!

Shitty place!!! After a 90-minute wait, they simply canceled the order! Everyone waited hungry and then didn't get lunch because there was no time left. Horrible! Not even a sorry.

A traditional Greek cuisine company. It tastes really good and you can tell that you are enjoying fresh cuisine here and not getting any convenience.

The schnitzel was hard, the fries were cold, soft and totally greasy. My colleague's bratwurst was probably lying around for too long and couldn't be cut. Fries also greasy, lukewarm and wobbly. But it was ignored and of course cashed. Once and never again!!

If I could, he would get negative points from me. I've never had worse lamb chops. You couldn't even cut them, let alone eat them. When I confronted the waitress about it, she said she couldn't do anything for the meat, so she shouldn't go there

The meal we ordered, worth €80 (6 people), was packed in a single small bag. “Packaged” is a very nice way of describing what we found. Some of the individual boxes were upside down and squashed against the edge on the sides so that everything was deformed. ALL dishes were completely mixed together and mostly out of packaging. Any sauce was at the bottom of the bag. In addition, of course, everything was cold so that it didn't taste good. In this context, I would like to point out the absolute impudence of €5 delivery costs, which, to top it all off, is the cherry on the cake here. This was by far the worst meal we have ever had delivered. I warmly recommend investing in more bags in the future so that you never have to deliver something so pathetic again. Thank you for that.

Long-standing good quality of the food, especially the gyro meat, the tender souvlaki and the salads. Friendly quick service. Unfortunately no delivery of food. Stands out positively from many other providers in the south of Essen. Unfortunately the price has increased in 2023 and the salad portions have become smaller. Update January 2025: 23 euros for Crete plate plus salad! Restaurant prices now include significantly smaller portions on correspondingly smaller stoneware plates if you eat on site. Finally, half of the large mixed salad consisted of cheap green lettuce. No longer recommended. Two stars deducted for on-site food!

It's a shame how Naxos has developed. Unfortunately, since you've been at Lieferando you can forget everything on site. Waiting times are okay, but when you say that the order takes 30 minutes and after 45 minutes nothing is ready, that's sad. What we noticed: the delivery drivers come and go every minute, the local customers seem to be of secondary importance. The food is very tasty. Everyone is friendly too. The Naxos Grill has been improving its premises and menu for years. There is delicious food and a nice atmosphere for a fast food restaurant.

For me the best Greek in Essen. Come by there regularly. I either eat on site or take something with me. Absolutely recommended.

The food is really delicious. Unfortunately, the prices are getting higher and higher and you really have to pay a high surcharge for every little thing. Mini klacks tzatziki e.g. 3.50 euros. I understand that purchasing prices are getting more and more expensive, but that's starting to seem greedy. The young black-haired lady in particular isn't really that friendly either. It's a shame, the store has a lot of potential.

I had a grill plate to take away there. The staff are very friendly, the place looks bright and friendly. The rice was ok, but not more than that, the steaks and skewers were good, as you know them, I also liked the gyros. However, anything with minced meat was inedible to me: gristly and tough. The tzatziki was completely fine, all in all midfield, but the cevape and the mini bifteki were disappointing.

We often enjoyed eating at the branch on Klarastraße. Now we order from this branch. The food is delicious. What is noticeable is that the prices upon delivery are significantly higher than on the menu in the house, and a song fee is also charged. The food is usually only lukewarm and delivery often takes a long time, even though the restaurant is not far away. The prices for a snack are now very high.

Been a regular customer for more than 15 years, that says almost everything. Here the customer is king and you get something for your money. Top service, always friendly and the boss always knows exactly what you want to eat. We just say “as always”. The best "chip shop" I've ever been to. Actually, it's more of a restaurant, not just because of the enormous amount of seating, but first and foremost because of the great food. Some Greek restaurants can learn a lesson from that. Best food forever!!!

Ich war gestern Abend dort Essen. Ich war relativ spät dran und der Laden wollte gerade schließen. Trotzdem wurde mein Bestellung noch aufgenommen und mein Essen zubereitet. Ich habe einen Taxi-Teller bestellt, der mich vollkommen überzeugt hat. Der ladenbesitzer war sehr freundlich obwohl ich so spät bestellt habe. Das ambiete erinnert mich an meinen Urlaub auf Santorini.

Wir haben da schon sehr, sehr oft gegessen und das Essen schmeckt immer besser. Weit und breit der beste Grieche in NRW. Service und Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Immer wieder gern!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier, zusammen mit unseren zwei kleinen Kindern. Essen und Service waren soweit gut. Von meinem Hähnchenschnitzel hatte ich ein bisschen mehr erhofft, war aber trotzdem lecker. Ich bin allerdings ein bisschen aus den Latschen gekippt als ich bezahlen wollte und dann 50 Euro hingelegt habe. Das war für einen Imbiss eben schon wirklich teuer.

Lecker war es, aber die Portionen sind extrem klein geworden, aber leider dafür teurer!!!! Da war ich das letzte mal.

Habe einen Gyrosteller komplett bestellt und im Grill verzehrt. Ich war ein wenig enttäuscht über die Mini Portionen die man dort bekommt und das ganze für 10,50😒 ja alles ist teurer geworden aber warum die Teller dann noch kleiner machen? Das Gyros war okay der Djuvicreis kam frisch aus der Microwelle im ganzen eher ein enttäuschendes Ergebnis. 🙈

Heute das 2. Mal wieder aus Bochum dort und ich kann nicht anders, als wieder 5 Sterne zu vergeben. Heute auch mit aktuellen Fotos. Draußen wurde gerade die Weihnachtsbeleuchtung angebracht und es ergab sich wieder ein nettes Gespräch. :-) Ach ja, es war natürlich wieder sehr lecker, siehe Foto. Man gibt sich hier wirklich große Mühe, eine angenehme Restaurant-Atmosphäre zu schaffen und auch die Freundlichkeit ist überdurchschnittlich nett. Nochmals vielen Dank.

Dieser Grill liegt an der Hauptstraße in einer Kurve an einer Ampel Einrichtung. Von vorne ist es nicht gleich erkennbar, welche Gastronomie dahinter steckt. Meistens fährt man mit dem fließenden Verkehr an diesem schönen Lokal vorbei. Aber es lohnt sich auf jedenfall dieses Lokal zu besuchen, was ich auch getan habe. Zentral ist der Eingang und die Damen sind griechisch und sehr freundlich. Die Speisekarte befindet sich hinter den Damen an der Wand. Es befinden sich verschiedene Tische mit bequemen Sitzbänken und bequeme Stühle. Das Licht hell aber nicht grell. Gekühlte Getränke schmecken hervorragend. Sogar Pommes Currywurst ist hier zuhaben. Es ist nicht ganz günstig aber sehr schmackhaft und Tisch Bedienung. Immer wieder gerne.

Mittlerweile sind die Portionen ziemlich klein und mickrig geworden, dafür die Preise um so höher. Dann kann man lieber ein paar Meter weiter fahren und sich direkt im richtigen griechischen Restaurant hinsetzen und bezahlt nur einen oder zwei Euro mehr

Gerne wieder. Beim Gyros muss man halt Glück haben das es knusprig ist. Wenn eine große Menge vorab verkauft wurde ist es eben eher langweilig.
