Small but perfectly formed, delicious food

We've been there twice now, and both times everything was excellent – ​​authentic Greek food, just as you'd imagine it, with reasonable quality at normal prices. Tip: The schnitzels here aren't frozen; they come from a trusted butcher, which is quite rare these days. Superb! The menu is concise and not too extensive, partly because they haven't jumped on the "we also do pizza and pasta" bandwagon. If you want that, just go to your favorite Italian restaurant. We drive all the way from Gelsenkirchen just to get here because it's worth it! It's that simple. Highly recommended. 😀👍

I always drove past it and thought I'd like to eat there sometime. Today I stopped. Ordered a gyro, fries, and tzatziki. The owner was super friendly, and the kitchen was busy chopping everything—a family business. Everything looked delicious and fresh in the display. The gyro was still crispy, incredibly seasoned—you could even taste the lemon. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the tzatziki was creamy and flavorful. Great value for money. I'll be back because this lady knows her stuff. 👌

Highly recommended! Good selection and a pleasant atmosphere. What's great is that you can also sit outside. When the weather's nice, you can enjoy your food in the sun. It tastes good and the prices are fair. Always delicious!

The gyros were bland, the tzatziki was overdone with the garlic. The fries were too hard. Overall, not tasty and far too expensive.

It was really very tasty and the portions were more than enough for me :D I always try something new but I have to say I really like the Metaxa sauce :) I can only recommend it to everyone, it is definitely worth a visit. I'm already looking forward to the next time :)

We were there for the first and last time about 3 years ago, but back then the portions were unfortunately a bit too small and so we decided on what I thought was the better competition (Nikolaus Grill near Aktienstraße). Since we live around the corner, we wanted to give the store another chance and went there again, but unfortunately we left straight away because: The employee present tolerated smoking in the guest room, which I personally find very bad and also indicates a lack of personal hygiene to me. For us it was the last chance for the store, maybe it was just a bad day but still an absolute no go. Who else wants to sit in a smoke-filled dining room in 2025?

Food was good but "not too much". Service: Self service, we didn't have to cook or wash up. Luckily, we had done the math in our heads when we paid. No receipt on the first attempt and 2 euros too much is absolutely not possible!!! Do I look that stupid? Ambiance: bad acoustics, very echoing when it gets crowded.

Actually the chip shop in Dellwig if you want gyros. Here the skewer is filled with slices of meat you have inserted yourself 👌. Behind the counter, the staff really have everything under control and they work hand in hand and you can tell 👍

Alles lecker und haben gute Preise

Bifteki wird tiefgefroren auf den Grill geschmissen & schmeckt auch so. Würde mich nicht wundern wenn die fertig eingekauft wurden. Pommes ebenfalls hart & ungenießbar. Für den Preis fast schon unverschämt! Von der Wartezeit ganz zu schweigen.

Die Mahlzeit - Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes und Majo war ok. Es waren zwei kleine Schnitzel aber gute Qualität. Die Pommes hätten etwas mehr sein können. Nicht ein PILZ in der Jägersauce. Leider keine Toilette. Die JägerSauce hatte auch schnell ein ekelige Haut ohne Pilze. Im übrigen glaube ich, das es dem Betreiber sehr egal war ob es alles zur Zufriedenheit war. Hier ruht man sich gerne aus. Sowas geht vllt nicht lange gut. Nur mal so als Tipp.

Voll enttäuscht - wegen der Bewertung extra hin gefahren obwohl Ich einmal quer durch essen musste. Schafskäse war auch nichts essbar leider - igs fragt man sich da nur wer die Bewertungen gemacht hat - sry aber war mein Empfinden leider - leider echt in allen schlechte Portionen etc klein Gyros voll grob geschnitten

Nur 1 Stern, weil 0 Sterne nicht möglich waren. Unhöfliche Bedienung und nichtmal das richtige Essen wird eingepackt.

Ich war gestern spontan mit meiner Familie dort essen, und ich würde dort immer wieder essen. Die beiden Mitarbeiterinnen war sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Ein netter kleiner Gyros Imbiss. Wir hatten Gyros mit Pommes, eine Pita und eine Currywurst. Die Preise sind sehr attraktiv und die Qualität des Essen sowie die Sauberkeit sind mindestens 5 Sterne wert. Ich wünscht mir wir hätten solch ein Imbiss in Hamburg und Umgebung. Lob an das Team, macht weiter so !

Hab nach langer Zeit mal wieder einen grillteller von dort gegessen , und es ist nicht mehr das was es mal war. Es wird immer weniger und vorallem immer teurer ! Mit 11 € ist man dabei .bin etwas enttäuscht !

Hervorragendes Gyros. Knusprig und saftig. Und überhaupt nicht fettig. Das findet man selten.

Leider waren unsere Portionen deutlich zu klein, der Gyros Lauwarm, keine kalte Coke dann wurde unser Essen auch noch falsch berechnet. Man wusste sogar das es keine kalte Coke gab, warum wurde diese nicht aufgefüllt? Muß ich nicht nochmal haben...

Ich liebe den Gyros Grill. Das ist das beste Essen weit und breit. Das gesamte Team ist immer und zu jeder Zeit freundlich und nett. Daher ist es immer unser erster Pflichtbesuch wenn wir aus Berlin anreisen. Das Essen ist ausreichend und ganz frisch zubereitet. Leider gibt es so etwas in Berlin nicht. Weiter so und vielen Dank.. Wurde mir von einem Freund empfohlen. Was aufjedenfall sehr positiv ist, das Essen war wirklich schnell fertig (20 min nach telefonischer Bestellung). Die Portionen sind für den Preis oke. Das Essen war lecker, aber nicht das beste/authentischste was ich jemals gegessen habe. Würde aber bestimmt nochmal dorthin.

Gute und hochwertige Speisen, nettes und sehr freundliches Personal (Inhaber). Hier komme ich gern hin, wenn ich wieder einmal in Essen bin.

Griechischen Pommesbude. Personal freundlich, Essen lecker, Portionen gut, Preis gut.

Viele verschiedene griechische Gerichte, die gut schmecken. Besser geht immer. Gelegentlich wird improvisiert: Z.B. wenn kein Salatdressing mehr vorrätig ist, gibt es einen Löffel Krautsalat mit Joghurtdressing obendrauf.

Beste Pommes in der Gegend. Alles was ich bisher gegessen habe, war lecker. Sehr freundliche Ladenbesitzer und nach der Renovierung sieht es super aus 👍.

Super Imbiss, wo die griechischen Spezialitäten qualitativ hochwertig sind und schmecken. Nehme hierfür gerne ein paar Minuten Fahrzeit in Kauf. Selbst in Stoßzeiten sind die Wartezeiten kurz. Preis/Leistung passt.
