We felt very well looked after, and the food was absolutely fantastic. The value for money is good. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

It was very nice there and tasted good

It felt like 15 years since I'd last been there. I was looking forward to some truly excellent food for my birthday. The result was more than disappointing. The schnitzel with chanterelle mushrooms was simply too thick and carelessly cooked to a dark brown. The cream sauce reminded me of an Indian turmeric sauce. The fried potatoes were truly greasy. The pork loin (also with chanterelle mushrooms and the same sauce) was too raw at first and then hard as steel. Then the chef just can't do it! I wanted to talk to the waitress, but it was probably pointless given their attitude. I've never given a review like this before, and I'm so very disappointed with the kitchen's performance. It's a real shame that the quality has suffered after so many years and the prices have gone up. There's another point for the environment, but it doesn't change the result. Tradition is simply no longer mandatory. WHAT A PITY.

Overall, a really nice place with great service. The drinks are delicious, and a soup is served with the main courses. The food is also very tasty; my schnitzel was a bit tough, but maybe I'm a bit spoiled in that regard ;) Still, I highly recommend it.

The first impression when entering the restaurant was the almost endless selection of gins. Simply impressive. The service, friendliness, special requests, speed despite a full house were in no way inferior. Likewise the kitchen. As a starter, shrimp on jalapeños, simply brilliant, wonderful sauce for the roast beef with mushrooms, the steak was perfect.

A very nice restaurant in a green setting, with a lovely beer garden and local specialties. Honest, truly good local cuisine.

I've been here several times as a DJ, providing music for my clients' parties. The venue looks a bit unassuming from the outside. But inside, it's cozy and there's even a separate party room for about 40-50 people. There's a great little beer garden at the back, as well as 10 additional parking spaces. Super friendly staff, a friendly manager, and great food make it a great place to come again. As a DJ, I've had some great parties here, and I'm sure there will be more to come.

Very authentic cuisine. Great schnitzel and very tender chicken breast. The ambiance was perfect.

The food was very, very delicious, be it the salad, the schnitzel, or the cordon bleu. You could tell that a lot of heart and soul goes into the cooking here. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost an hour for our food. The side salad was also served about five minutes before the main course. That was a bit annoying, as we were really hungry. The service was very friendly and pleasant. Great atmosphere, especially in the beer garden. There are parking spaces in front of the restaurant and behind it. There's also a small playground nearby, so you can supervise your children while they play. The prices are absolutely justified for the quality. Perhaps the staff were a bit overwhelmed, understaffed, or something similar on the day of our visit, but the table next to us had to wait almost 30 minutes to pay and went into the restaurant, presumably because they were running out of patience.

As always, the food is delicious (schnitzel with green sauce and pork cheeks in red wine), good, relaxed service with a sense of humor, and the beer garden is simply beautiful.

Good, down-to-earth cuisine (although a bit heavy and some dishes quite greasy). There are some delicious dishes, but I wouldn't recommend the schnitzel, for example (they don't taste like they were homemade). Otherwise, the service is very nice and friendly. The ambiance is "old German" and rustic, cozy, and the terrace is very secluded with a view of the greenery.

Today we ate at the Naturfreundehaus for the first time. The menu offers a good selection of dishes; if you don't find what you're looking for, it's really your own fault. There's also a chanterelle mushroom menu. The outdoor seating is lovely and shady. Parking is available. We'd love to come back and have noted that it's always best to make a reservation in advance.

The service was absolutely top-notch. I felt very comfortable. The salad with roasted chicken breast was OK, and the aioli with bread was VERY tasty and homemade. It's wonderful to sit there in the garden 🥰.

Three of us ate there yesterday. The weather was fantastic, so we reserved a table outside. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was incredibly cozy. The waitresses were fantastic; even when it got busy, they kept everything on top of things. They were very friendly and funny—simply fantastic! And now the food: amazing... a huge compliment to the kitchen. Everything was delicious and tasted really good. 💯% recommendation. The prices are reasonable, too, and there's something for everyone in the selection. And there was also a recommendation card from the kitchen... so: heart and stomach—what more could you want! We'd love to come back!!!

So far, everything has tasted good. While we wait for the food, it would be nice if there were a snack, like a little bread with butter or olive oil or something similar. Salad should be served with meals and not ordered separately. Many other restaurants do this. Fried potatoes have too few onions for my taste...

I've always been able to eat very well here. The dishes taste delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive. The meat and side dishes are of good quality and well prepared. This time I had Frankfurt green sauce with boiled beef and fried potatoes: I could have fallen for the green sauce. The boiled beef was a poem and beautifully tender. For the side dish I chose the fried potatoes. They were just the way I like them, nice with a fried crust, just right and well seasoned. I can also only recommend the Argentinian steak, the cordon bleu and the side salad. What I thought was great, even though the restaurant was full, the staff remained friendly and attentive throughout and the food was served at the same time. We were able to eat together that way. We were 9 people. The waiting time was normal - it worked out well. The atmosphere is cozy and I like the front and back areas. The price-performance ratio is perfect. I can recommend the Naturfreundehaus with a clear conscience! It makes sense to reserve in advance. Due to the good experience so far, our “Frankfurt” excursion day ended with culinary delights here. We came here from the Karlsruhe area.

Well, I almost drove past it! I heard the food is really good there, just like Mom's! I wanted to try it, so I drove into the yard. By the way, there are plenty of parking spaces here! We went into the house, which is almost hidden by trees and bushes. But the furniture inside is very cozy and comfortable. As for the food, what was conjured up on the table was simply amazing; everything delighted my palate 💯%. Here, something inconspicuous has become something truly amazing with delicious dishes. My recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars, and you're welcome!

Once again, since we haven't been there for a few months, we're having dinner at the Naturfreundehaus. A new menu, new service, and the annex is TOP newly furnished. After a short while the drinks we ordered arrive and the food is ordered. After about 30 minutes, the dishes arrive. Beautifully prepared and, as usual, tasty. We are satisfied. We felt comfortable and will definitely come back. Otherwise, the price-performance ratio has not changed.

We were there in a group of around 30 people, and the food was clearly excellent! But shortly after dessert you were basically startled and asked to leave the hall with the company, which was not discussed before when reservations were made. The next statement will come in 15 minutes! So the ceremony (baptism) dampened the mood a little. It's a real shame that communication should have been better.

Had lunch today for two at the Naturfreunde Haus. As a greeting from the kitchen there was a very tasty spinach soup. For the main course we ordered meatloaf with fried eggs and fried potatoes and fish fillet on ram vegetables with potatoes. Both dishes tasted average. The service was friendly and the atmosphere in the garden was pleasant. If your expectations aren't too high, you can have a "good home-style" meal here.

We celebrated our wedding here last weekend with 100 people. The ambience outside in the garden is beautifully green in summer. The food was excellent, from the finger food at the champagne reception to the grill menu with numerous salads and side dishes. All guests were completely satisfied. The service was also very well received by our guests. The service was repeatedly praised for how friendly and attentive all requests were received and implemented. A big thank you for that! It was a wonderful celebration and the best day of our lives. Thank you for contributing.

Actually, but unfortunately......... How do I ruin my daughter's first communion celebration? You order the winter garden in the Naturfreundehaus for around 25 people, make a starter platter, including things that are suitable for children, vegetarians and vegans. With a champagne reception and food from the menu. We had discussed all of this 14 days beforehand. We were even called 2 days in advance to ask if we would like to use the garden. Everything was very nice, accommodating and polite. However, we didn't get to see the boss... The anticipation was great... So yesterday we came with our company at 12:30 p.m. and experienced a slap in the face.... There was suddenly a small Mother's Day menu there with inflated prices, the champagne wasn't particularly good, the appetizer platter wasn't as discussed (not for... Vegan and not for the children either), according to the staff the boss decided this. The quality wasn't great either. The boss didn't show up when we complained. The Mother's Day menu had one dish for vegetarians and nothing except fries for vegans. The staff showed as much attitude as possible and remained relatively friendly, as did we. The boss continued to be conspicuous by his absence. We were about to leave, but what do you want to do when you have guests from all over Germany... Somehow almost everyone found something, but more bad than good, good face for evil... .Quality was also rather mediocre... Were there today in a larger company. There was a mix up in the order. This could have been clarified without any problems without the “boss”. He came rushing in and shouted in front of all the guests on the terrace. This behavior was very unpleasant not only for us but also for all other guests. We asked him several times for a normal tone. We also made him aware that we are guests and want to be treated as such. It didn't bother him that there were children sitting at the table who didn't know such behavior at home. Unfortunately, the boss didn't notice that all the guests on the terrace were very upset about his inappropriate behavior. It's very sad when guests have to ask for decent behavior. I was wondering if the gentleman is having a bad day or a bad nursery or maybe he is just dissatisfied with himself? After the waitress apologized for her boss's unpleasant behavior, it was clear that he not only treated his guests this way, but also his employees. Very unfortunate. My side dishes were missing. I didn't dare not ask for this. Otherwise the gentleman would have completely freaked out. We won't see us again. The children were afraid, we and all the guests found this behavior simply unpleasant and completely inappropriate. The food was good and the service was very nice. It's a shame that the boss is badmouthing his own company because of his lack of decency.

I had to make a deduction here because the boss is an absolutely unfriendly person and handles the situation of a supposed wrong order/complaint worse than a beginner/apprentice. Yelling loudly (with the guests and in front of children). I wish his staff treats you better. Food top. Kudos to the chef. But that was the first and last time. Because you spend the whole day messing up and paying a lot of money for it. Too bad. Boss 👎👎👎👎👎

A very nice place to eat. The food tastes great. Unfortunately we were eating with a group on Easter Sunday. There was no regular menu that everyone was looking forward to. There was a Din A4 page on the table as an Easter card, which was not referenced on the homepage. Unfortunately the selection is very limited, including very limited vegetarian food and completely overpriced in contrast to other places where there is a variety of options at real prices. We will no longer eat here on public holidays.

Am Tisch zerlegt und serviert bekommen. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Dazu die passenden Getränke. Großes Wohlfühlpotenzial, mal wieder ein schöner, genussvoller Abend.

Tolle Location, quasi mitten im Wald... Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Wobei die Preise grenzwertig sind. Beilagen werden extra verrechnet, das muss nicht sein. Sehr freundliches Personal. Parkplätze in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Tagessuppe gab's gratis.
