The food is very tasty and the service couldn't be better. There is a large selection of dishes. Vegan and vegetarian options are also possible. The waiter was very nice and the food came quickly. The atmosphere is a bit club-like but that's it. We were satisfied.

Best Indian restaurant in Tempelhof I am a regular customer and can only recommend the restaurant. It's especially nice to sit on the terrace in summer and enjoy the view over the tennis courts.

Very friendly, attentive and fast service. We enjoyed the food very much. A good selection for requirements and vegetarians (designated dishes). The restaurant is inconspicuous and you can find the entrance by going behind the building. It is located in a converted part of a (tennis) gym and you can sit outside and watch the tennis players playing outside from inside. Card payment is also possible.

We are regular guests at Namaste and are always impressed by the variety and quality of the food as well as the attentive and friendly service. The curries and biryanis as well as the very tasty lentil soup are outstanding at generally good prices! And if the children don't have an appetite for Indian cuisine, they just eat pizza and are very happy with it. For us, by far the best Indian restaurant in Tempelhof!

The atmosphere is canteen-like. But staff is very good. Definitely tip for that. Food tastes high. You have to stop there. Card payment. Five euro tip for a €35 bill for two people. People go there. It's a bit off track. Kind of belongs to the tennis club.

The delivery was top. The food always tastes very good, you always get papadum delivered with it, although without sauces There are always small tetra pack drinks and sweets in the bag. I always find that very sweet. At Namaste I have the feeling that the guests come first and they try very hard to make everything to their complete satisfaction.

Wir sind in den verschiedenen Parks in der Gegend spazieren gegangen und waren von den vielen Google-Sternen angelockt hier im Namaste Italia gelandet. Wir saßen bei schönem Wetter draußen auf der Terrasse und genossen zunächst den Blick hinab auf die Tennisplätze. Es ist eine Art Vereinsheim eines Tennisclubs, aber eines, das es in sich hat! Wir waren geflasht vom sehr guten Essen! Das hatten wir nicht erwartet. Ein netter aufmerksamer Kellner bediente uns und fragte immer mal nach, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Da die Preise wirklich günstig waren, hatten wir keine großen Erwartungen. Aber schon der Gruß aus der Küche war eine kleine Offenbarung! Und dann das Essen erst. Geschmacklich war es äußerst gut. Die Portionen waren reichlich und die Zutaten waren frisch und lecker. Wir können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen, es ist jeden Stern wert!

An absolute delight, right in the heart of Tempelhof. You would not expect such excellent indian cuisine next to a tennis court, try the Mango lassi while you watch people play in the sunset. Highly recommend.

Мы с дочкой осваивались , гуляли в том районе. Но, так как всё незнакомо, нашли по хорошим отзывам и высокой оценке. Хотя, впервые знакомились с индийской кухней, решили рискнуть. )) Действительно, заведение очень скромно и неприметно снаружи, но еда действительно очень вкусная! Моей дочери вкусное вегетарианское блюдо показалось немного острым, но я люблю именно с пряностями и перцем! Баранина была бесподобна! Спасибо огромное всем за отзывы, благодаря которым мы нашли это место, мы получили удовольствие от еды, сервис был на высоте и мы очень рады, что не ошиблись! Обязательно вернёмся, чтобы попробовать новые блюда!

Found this restaurant when i was wondering around the neighborhood. Cool atmosphere, inside a tennis court, so you got a good view if you like tennis. Food is delicious. I ordered lamm curry. Really really flavourful. My girlfriend ordered pizza, but for my taste, it's an "okay". However if you dip the pizza in the curry sauce, it's becoming a fun dish to taste. Definitely recommend for the indian dishes. You can feel the chefs put their heart and pride into the dishes. Worth the price.

Great restaurant in the neighborhood, probably the best one in Tempelhof. Food is delicious (Palak Paneer is my favorite one). Service is always very friendly, you don’t wait long for food. Prices are reasonable. Have been here many times and will come again, also with friends. Great option both for eating in the restaurant (lovely terrace!) or for pickup.

Delicious food 😋 and good service

The place is inside a tennis center, the atmosphere is friendly and it was quite lively when we went there on a Saturday at lunch time. The service is nice but unfortunately the flavour of the food was quite plain. We tried the samosa as a starter, as main we had chicken tikka masala and jalfrezi with naan bread. I especially did not enjoy the naan and the rest was not bad but, unfortunately, not either a reason to return there. Surely they don't have a tandoori oven. 2 stars less because the food was just average. The prices were slightly above average especially for the area and for a restaurant in a sports center. 1 star less. Italia in the restaurant name is probably because they have also pizza in their menu. I'd love to go back there and give them more stars but with the wide choice of Indian restaurants in Berlin, it is not very likely.

Super delicious. I ordered the duck makkhni ( Batak Makkihni) and garlic naan, those are very tasty. The makkhni is mildly sweet, and the duck exceeds my expectation. Highly recommend.

Interesting place - I wanted to try it since I live nearby. The entrance is located right next to the actual tennis court (you can go through the lockers as well but there is an official entrance). We were the only two people at that time, service was great and fast. Place itself is actually nice, not as "indianized" as other places were everything is golden and what not. We ordered spinach cheese and mango chicken - both was tasty and well done. The batura could have been better, but the mango lassi was great. Overall it seems a nice place (a bit of a hidden gem) and really well taken care of. Will visit again!

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier essen!! Egal,ob im Sommer auf ein Eis mit den Kindern oder auch zum Abendessen. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und im Sommer lädt auch die Terrasse zum Verweilen ein. Vor allem die Freundlichkeit des Inhabers und seiner Angestellten ist beeindruckend. Diese gerät nicht mal ins Wanken wenn unsere Kinder dabei sind, zumal diese nicht immer die ruhigsten sind... Alles in allem ein wirklich tolles Restaurant, dass auf den ersten Blick unscheinbar wirkt, aber auf jeden Fall besucht werden sollte. Vielen Dank für unsere angenehmen Aufenthalte an das Namaste Italia Team!!!

Haben hier am Wochenende das erste Mal etwas zum mitnehmen bestellt. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und als Überbrückung von der Wartezeit haben wir einen Saft bekommen. Das Essen war geschmacklich als auch qualitativ sehr gut. Unsere Gerichte (Paneer Jalfrezi und Paneer Kadai) bestanden aus viel Gemüse und Paneer, auch auf den Wunsch nach unterschiedlichem Schärfegrad wurde gut eingegangen. Ausschließlich das Garlic Naan fanden wir leider etwas hart. Wir sind trotzdem überzeugt und werden sicherlich wiederkommen! :)

If you happen to be nearby and hungry, make sure to visit this place. From its location, the way it looks, and the name suggesting two cuisine in one, it may not sound that fancy at first, BUT - you’ll get a delicious Indian food (haven’t tried Italian options yet) - which will be served by a polite and friendly staff - for which you’ll pay a very affordable price (there are also lunch-offers, which are updated weekly) - and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to watch people play tennis in real-life resolution :) With all that, this place is a true hidden gem.
