Nam Restaurant in Hilden

Dear Nam team, this can be done better. We ordered via Lieferando for 7 p.m. The food didn't arrive until 8:30 p.m. We've been trying to call since 7:45 p.m. and didn't get through to someone until 8:15 p.m. Then we were told they can't see the time for scheduled orders. Oh yeah, it's strange that other restaurants can see it. Then it's a system error. Then it's our fault because we ordered on a Sunday, the last day of vacation. Cool. Ordered at 6 p.m. according to the app, max 50 minutes would have been 7 p.m. too. So much for scheduled orders. So if you're so busy and nothing is happening, then deactivate your online presence for the time and or make a recorded message. Simply leaving the bell ring and not answering is really uncool. We loved eating at your place and ordered for my wife's birthday because going to a restaurant with a baby is stupid. Thanks for messing it up. We don't know if we'll give you another chance in person. We'll never order from you again.

A true sushi highlight – "Nam" impresses all around! My first visit to Nam was absolutely amazing. The sushi was incredibly fresh, both visually and tastefully. The service was very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The ambiance is modern and stylish – you immediately feel at home. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality. I will definitely be back and can recommend Nam to any sushi lover!

Unfortunately, our food looked nothing like sushi. Our All Crunchys plate (202) was simply covered in grease, as you can see in the picture. Some of the food tasted okay, but we won't be ordering from there again. Almost everything tasted of grease. The pictures on the website have nothing to do with the food we picked up.

What can I say...? As a sushi lover, I'm always completely happy here. They even have gluten-free soy sauce ^^ and the homemade lemonades are super delicious!

Well, for me, this is one of the best restaurants in Hilden and the surrounding area. I first went there about four years ago. My best friend took me along (well, he knows a good restaurant in all of Germany, I think). And did he promise too much? NO! Here you get what you expect. Delicious Asian food, just as you would expect, and I'm not talking about the Asian takeaway around the corner. Freshly prepared and presented to perfection. My conclusion: Anyone who just wants to enjoy good Asian food once in a while shouldn't be shy and should visit. P.S. The price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable, and for good food that you certainly don't treat yourself to every day, you shouldn't pay attention to the price. A solid 10/10.

Beautifully decorated, pleasant service, and fantastic food. Special requests are no problem; everything is handled with a friendly smile. Reasonably priced and the food is truly fresh. We'd be happy to return. Thank you for the wonderful time we had with you.

The restaurant has been newly renovated and is truly stunning! Not only can you enjoy great Asian food here, but you can also sit back and relax. The selection, from freshly made sushi to Thai curry, is first-class and tastes a dream. They also offer first-class lunch menus. The service is very friendly and personal. As far as I know, they also do takeaway.

The meat was old and dry, and the duck had a sour aftertaste. The chicken was frozen. The noodles were tasteless and dry. Overall, it was terrible.

The shop is very good but please change the noodles again from fried noodles the new ones are really bad and too dry it's just not the same please CHANGE!!

Today we had sushi, all crunchies, duck number 50 and a special dish (rice with breaded chicken without anything). The food is good. The service was very friendly and responded to our special requests. There was a brief misunderstanding between my son and the waitress. They apologized several times and my son received a magical mochi ice cream as compensation. Thank you for this attention.

Disappointing and overpriced - never again! We ordered from NAM again yesterday and it was a complete disappointment. The quality of the food has deteriorated massively, the sushi in particular was a disaster. Hardly any fish. Savings were made in all the wrong places. Instead of fresh, high-quality sushi, we got carelessly cobbled together rice with the cheapest ingredients - the taste was simply disappointing. For 60 euros we would have expected at least reasonable quality, but what was delivered was only worth a few euros at most. The pasta with duck was “okay” but nothing special. If you're hoping for good sushi, you should give this restaurant a wide berth. This is our opinion after several attempts. Conclusion: Completely overpriced, poor quality and we don't recommend it! We definitely won't order here again.

Tasty, quick, good value for money

Very tasty there, the fact that it is a small restaurant makes it even more cozy.

The food is always delicious. Service suits us too. But the Nam is slowly experiencing a backlog of investment. The toilets are rocked. The tables lose their edges. Something has to happen here soon. But of course we all go there because of the food and it is without question one of the best in the region when it comes to Asian food.

If you like sushi and Asian food you MUST stop here!

Man, man, man, what a sushi! I'm blown away! In addition to the classic sushi rolls with salmon or avocado, there are also real sushi special hits, such as: Unagi Dragon with shrimp, eel and cucumber :D I can only recommend it and will definitely come back!

The dishes tasted very good, except for the ramen with the coconut milk sauce. It's really a matter of taste, we didn't like this combination with the ramen. Everything else we ordered was delicious. The service is friendly and competent. I don't think the atmosphere is that nice. Lots of tables in a small space, darkly furnished. The restaurant is located at the entrance of a passage and therefore very dark atmosphere in the interior.

The only store that ALWAYS responds to special requests and fulfills them and I sometimes have really strange special requests. We've never had any problems, except once when the system went haywire and our order didn't arrive. Although it wasn't their fault, we received our delivery immediately including lots of extras. I was there spontaneously with my partner earlier. The food came super quickly, even though the store was busy and some picked up their food to go. The dishes were hot and tasted very good. The place is a bit narrow and therefore the tables are small, but you still felt comfortable. Service very attentive and friendly.

First of all: The review refers to delivered food (sushi). We have been ordering from Nam for several years and have always been very satisfied. However, it often happens that the comments made during the ordering process are not read at all! Repeatedly the food was not delivered at the requested time, but 3 hours early. The message “Attention, allergy, no peppers” is repeatedly ignored and sushi is delivered with peppers. In the past, money was refunded if a complaint was made, but today it was pointed out that the field with the comments could not be printed out and therefore could not be read, so please call them additionally. OK. The second delivery today (also 15 minutes early, but ok) delivered sushi without peppers, but the rest of the order was exactly what was delivered (and taken away again) 3 hours ago, because everything was crispy was soft and mushy. Furthermore, only soy sauce was delivered and not - as usual - other sauces (Tobiko)... It's a shame about the 75€, it all doesn't fit together anymore... Edit: In the meantime, Nam has completely refunded the amount for this order. Thank you!

Das Essen war einfach nur langweilig. Es fehlte an Schärfe, trotz 2 angezeigten Schärfepunkten. Auch andere Gewürze waren nicht zu schmecken.Da bin ich bei asiatischen Speisen wesentlich besseres gewöhnt. Aber der Service war bemüht und schnell.

Das Essen ist super lecker nur empfehle ich auf die Rechnung zu schauen, da mir wiederholt ein teures Essen in Rechnung gestellt wurde, was ich nicht bestellt habe.

Haben online bestellt. Das Essen kam recht schnell und war noch heiß. Von Sushi, rotes Curry und Nudel mit Hähnchen war alles dabei und alles war sehr lecker. Bestellen gerne wieder

Wirklich hervorragendes Essen. Ich wurde bisher noch nie enttäuscht. Das Nam ist immer meine erste Wahl wenn ich Lust auf asiatische Gerichte habe.

Wir waren zu dritt abends essen. Als Vorspeise gab es die Gyosa, das erste mal frittiert gegessen. Sehr gut! Dazu gab es das Chicken-Spieße in Erdnusssosse. Als Hauptspeise war dann das Teriyaki chicken mit Reis und Gemüse. Die teriyaki Soße war etwas dünnflüssiger und süßer als ich das kenne und nicht ganz so intensiv. Ansonsten war auch der Eistee sehr gut! Gerne wieder

Es war wieder sehr lecker! Das Sushi hatte eine ausgezeichnete Qualität, das Curry mit der Ente war sehr lecker. Die Portion war allerdings sehr groß. Auch die Ente mit Reis, Sauce und Gemüse war ausgezeichnet und knusprig. Das war bestimmt nicht unser letzter Besuch im Nam.

Es war super lecker, NAM ist wirklich zu empfehlen, bestes Chinesische Restaurant im weiten Umkreis. Leider manchmal sehr lange Lieferzeiten, aber das liegt eher an der guten Qualität!

Das Sushi war verdammt gut. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und schnell. Leider war das Wasabi wirklich miserabel (geschmacklos und keine Schärfe) Deshalb leider nur 4 🌟

Sehr leckeres Essen zu einem fairen Preis. Nicht nur Sushi, sondern auch die anderen Gerichte, wie Nudeln mit Hühnerfleisch sind sehr lecker. Der hausgemachte Eistee ist genial. Das Ambiente und der Service sind auch gut.

Habe das Essen zum abholen bestellt.. super lecker und Preis Leistung wirklich top ☺️ Werde nun öfters Sushi holen !

De Oosterse bereidingen zijn zéér lekker. het valt moeilijk té kiezen uit een menu kaart die zovele lekkere gerechten aanbiedt. Top. De sfeer uitgaande van het restaurant is gewoon maar al bij al maak je de sfeer zelfs en zelfs al is die iets minder, de heerlijkheid van het eten maakt dit ruimschoots goed! Een aanrader

Ich bin fast jeden Monat hier und liebe das Sushi, die Suppen und nahezu jedes Gericht. Das Essen ist super, das Personal besser. Freundlich, schnell und auch bei einem vollen Restaurant immer zuvorkommend. Der Innenraum ist eher gemütlich eingerichtet, aber das ist perfekt für ein ungezwungenes Abendessen. Ich komme gerne wieder!
