This place offers a free "gift" to anyone who leaves a good review on Google, but this review isn't for the reward. I recently visited this restaurant and would like to share a few honest points about my experience: The atmosphere is nicely designed. The seating area is comfortable and spacious. The decor is understated and pleasing to the eye. Music played in the background at a pleasant volume, making it easy to chat. The service was polite. Empty plates were cleared regularly. However, the person taking payments and distributing iPads to guests could have been a bit friendlier and more welcoming. The food was very disappointing. For the price, the selection is limited, and some dishes didn't seem fresh. The tamago and inari were dry, had little sweetness, and were almost tasteless. The rice tasted more like regular rice than sushi rice. The crab in the crab roll smelled unpleasant, almost as if it had gone bad. The nori sheet for the hand roll was no longer crispy. One positive point is that the food was served relatively quickly. Overall, it was a rather disappointing experience at this all-you-can-eat restaurant. If they improved the quality of the food, it could be a great place. Until that happens, I wouldn't recommend it.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean. The service is fast; everything we ordered from the all-you-can-eat menu arrived quickly. Sometimes the service is a bit too fast, and we take away plates with food still on them. The food was delicious, but the meat was dry, and the raw fish wasn't that tasty. You can eat as much ice cream as you want.

The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and modern. The value for money is absolutely spot on. If you love sushi, you shouldn't miss this restaurant! I'll definitely be back. 🍣👏

I was beyond thrilled with my visit to Nakoyashi. The sushi was not only fresh and delicious, but also a true work of art. You immediately notice the attention to detail here – both in the selection of ingredients and in the preparation. The service was attentive, friendly, and competent. The staff gave us excellent advice and easily accommodated our individual requests. The atmosphere in the restaurant is stylish, modern, yet cozy – perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or as a couple.

Our No. 1 in town! For us, the best all-you-can-eat sushi in Cologne! Service, ambiance, quality, and taste are always impeccable. We've never had stomach problems here like we do at other restaurants in Cologne that serve sushi. We're happy to drive from Düsseldorf to Cologne for this :-D The service is always particularly warm and kind to our baby. We're always happy to come back!

The food was delicious, but some of the waitresses were quite irritated even though it was quiet. Only two or three tables were occupied. Otherwise, everything was fine. The bathrooms were clean.

Sushi – the selection was somewhat limited, but the quality was quite good for an AYCE offering. There were other dishes available, but the sushi was the highlight. The price was a bit high, but overall, it was reasonable for what you got. I would recommend it.

Unfortunately, we weren't impressed. We were there for lunch and wouldn't go back. The value for money here is absolutely not right. The lunch selection is relatively limited, and the quality is unfortunately not good either. Some of the sushi was dried out, warm, and simply not tasty. The drinks are very expensive. For two people, lunch and two drinks, you pay €57/€58, which is completely unreasonable. You can get dinner elsewhere for that, with a better selection and quality. The table advertises a gift for a Google review; perhaps that's where the positive ratings come from. Unfortunately, we were fooled by that. What a shame! But the service was at least friendly and quick.

The waiter was rude and complained that we'd ordered too much, even though we only ordered 4 out of 10. Furthermore, there was nothing left of what we ordered.

Very Disappointing Experience I visited this restaurant today, and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. The food was brought three times due to obvious misunderstandings. The waiter rudely slammed the food down on the table each time, without a word of apology. When I calmly asked to speak to the manager, I was simply told that he was "not here." The staff seemed overwhelmed and barely spoke German, which made communication even more difficult. Worst of all, however, was the unfriendly tone with which I was told that this would be "my last time here." That's not how you treat guests – I certainly won't be coming back.

We have been regulars at your restaurant for a long time and generally appreciate the quality of your food and service. Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience during our last visit. The waiter in charge was very rude to us. Although we placed our order normally and politely—and not excessively often—we were warned on the third visit not to order too much. Furthermore, the plates were slammed down on the table with noticeable dissatisfaction, which significantly spoiled the atmosphere. As loyal customers, we expect respectful treatment and hope that this behavior was an exception and will result in appropriate consequences.

I can only agree with the many positive reviews. The restaurant is centrally located, tastefully decorated, and exudes a warm, inviting atmosphere as soon as you enter. The service was attentive, friendly, and at the same time pleasantly unobtrusive. Our order came promptly, and the staff were very helpful in choosing dishes—especially for someone like me who likes to try something off the standard menu. The food was a hit.

Absolutely rude staff!! You ask a question and they yell "Whaaaat" all over the place. I've never experienced anything like it! Sushi is so expensive, you pay so much for your food, and then you get such absolutely terrible service. Sad, sad (the place isn't very busy, just 6 couples!) You'd expect the best service because there's simply no one there. The gym is also a huge noise nuisance. The waitresses 👀 are like witches. Truly shocking. No wonder you have to purr with gifted chopsticks for good feedback here! Of course, we were also guided by the "reviews" 😅 but we discovered right here why and how so many reviews were made 😂. The selection may be a bit smaller compared to other all-you-can-eat restaurants, but the quality is consistently good. The location is modern and attractive, but the noise level was a bit high, probably due to the weekend crowds. All in all: I would definitely recommend Nakoyashi and would come back anytime.

The food itself? Absolutely top: freshly prepared, tasty, beautifully presented. It was so delicious that while we were eating we were already wondering when we would come back next time. And then came the highlight: a robot that brought our food directly to the table! Futuristic, efficient – ​​and yes, it was a bit cute too. 😄 Nevertheless, the human service was also super friendly, attentive and very warm. You just feel good. We were particularly impressed by the speed: some drinks arrived in less than a minute - no joke. We've really never experienced a quicker service without it seeming hectic. The atmosphere is modern and cozy - at first you think it might be a bit dark, but as soon as you sit down you realize: there is just the right light above every table. Perfectly solved. Conclusion: An all-round great experience. Great food, great service, charming technology, and we will definitely be back – with an empty stomach and great anticipation.

Let's start with food - although "food" here is almost an insult to the word. The sushi? An absolute disgrace. The rice was soggy, seasoned completely wrong (if it was seasoned at all) and the whole thing just didn't taste like anything. No freshness, no aroma, nothing. I seriously considered whether this was a bad joke. Sushi is an art – this was an accident. And then the service... I'm really patient and friendly - but I've never experienced anything like that. The service was unfriendly, annoyed and simply not motivated. She rarely responded to questions, if at all it was with an annoyed look and a murmur that could be considered an answer if you were very optimistic. It was like being a nuisance if you even existed. And now let's be honest: HOW can over 5,000 people give this store 4.6 stars?! I just don't understand it. Either I was at a parallel evening or something is going very wrong here. It was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had - and I regret every single bite and every wasted minute there. If you want good sushi, go somewhere else. If you want bad service and tasteless food then: welcome. Oh yeah.. and the only sweet thing about the whole experience was the robot that brought the food.🐱
