New owner – new review: The food was delicious, the gyros salad was one of the best I've ever had. All the other dishes were also excellent. There's room for improvement with the drinks (the shandy was much too sweet, and the spritzers were flat) – but the beer was top-notch. Overall, still 5 stars.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Mythos. I was initially apprehensive, as it's in a great location right on the beach, which often leads to high prices and poor food. Not in this case! Great, tasty, well-seasoned gyro; you can taste that the meat comes from a local butcher. The rice is well-made, fluffy, not sticky, and flavorful, and the souvlaki was also very good. The tzatziki is homemade, lightly seasoned with garlic, cucumber, and spices; very tasty. You're also welcome with your dog; the service is very friendly, accommodating, and very polite; a pleasant chat is also welcome. It's best to get a seat by the window; it has a great view and is right on the beach. The prices are perfectly reasonable for such good quality. The portion size is also great, with plenty of meat. What some reviewers write here, that the portion was very small, is in the eye of the beholder, but it's downright ridiculous here. That was almost impossible to achieve! A farmer's plate weighs up to about 800g of meat. Of course, if you need more, that's fine... 🙄 It's very quiet, very pleasant, and the guests are very friendly, a good crowd. I didn't need to make a reservation during the week. All in all: absolutely recommended!!! Keep it up!! Best, Chris + Chico

Since our last vacation, we've been truly disappointed with this restaurant. The view of the Baltic Sea isn't exactly great. The prices have been raised so high that you're no longer hungry. Main courses have gone up by an average of €3-4. It's possible that the rent has gone up, but that shouldn't happen. More expensive and the quality is poor. We'll check again in December and report back.

We highly recommend this restaurant. The staff welcomed us warmly, and despite the large number of guests, the wait for our food was reasonable. You can choose between rice, fries, or pita bread as a side dish, and my request for a smaller portion was accommodated. We enjoyed the food very much. 👍

Good quality, friendly service, and a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately, the side salad is now only available for an additional charge.

We were able to sit down right away, but it took a while for service to arrive. The food arrived relatively quickly, but the portions were very small (rice was the size of a tablespoon). The meat was unfortunately lukewarm to cold. The waitress seemed overwhelmed with six guests in the outdoor area. The taste was okay.

2025: Still simply fantastic. Nothing has changed since last year. Still a clear recommendation. 2024: One of the best Greek restaurants I've ever been to, if not the best. Absolutely outstanding, friendly, attentive, and excellent service paired with fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared food. And, of course, a wonderful view and a cozy, clean, and appealing ambiance. Highly recommended are the baked beans and the lamb platter (I haven't had such delicious lamb in a long time).

So, anyone who gives this 5 stars has apparently never eaten at a decent Greek restaurant. The Tarama appetizer was tasteless and came with simple bread rolls and a bit of garlic, so garlic bread. The main courses were child-sized portions. They were completely over-covered with onions. The liver was tough. The meat skewer was dry. The gyro was okay. Too expensive for that.

Three of us were planning on going to Akropolis in Dahme. Unfortunately, it was full, so we ended up here. At Mythos, at 7 p.m., only a third of the seats were occupied. The waiters were running around frantically and seemed overwhelmed. Gyro plate with fries for €17.90!!! Expectations are high. When the plates arrived after about 40 minutes, we all looked at each other to see if we'd accidentally ordered the children's plate. Everything was spread out nicely on the plate to look like a lot. Not enough to fill you up. When we pointed this out when paying, my son (just my son) was brought a SMALL portion of meat. After that, no waiter came back. I was even too stupid to ask for some meat for myself. €75 for three people and we didn't even get enough to eat is outrageous. We're definitely not going there again. Good thing there's Google Maps.

Beilagensalat ertränkt in einem Dressing, das sehr an ein günstiges Fertigprodukt erinnert. Gyros ist nicht kross mit sehr vielen unangenehmen fettigen Anteile und Reis, der komplett ungesalzen wirkt und nach gar nichts schmeckt. Getränke wirken stark überteuert (wie auch in vielen weiteren Gastronomien an der Promenade). Wenn schon hochpreisig, dann bitte auch die dazu passende Qualität. Einen Ouzo gibt’s zu Beginn aufs Haus. Einzig die Lage ist schön. Trotzdem: keine Empfehlung, ich komme ganz sicher nicht wieder.

We actually only ended up here because our original destination was closed, but we didn't regret it and in the future we will visit two destinations when we are in the area

Despite our late arrival, we were welcomed in and served very warmly. (Other restaurants refused to serve us after 9 p.m.) The food was delicious, although I would ask for the salad dressing next time, as the service here was a bit too generous, and I personally don't like too much dressing on salad. The tzatziki was excellent, and the garlic bread was incredibly delicious. Overall, we would come back.

Exorbitant prices! Salad is extra. Fries were very good. Gyros were greasy and black, with no flavor. Minced meat tasted like bread and water. Ouzo is served by the glass. Unfortunately, it wasn't for us.

Great restaurant right on the beach. We had the saganaki first, which was very tasty. The main courses, gyros and bifteki, were also very tasty and well-seasoned. The staff is very attentive. Of course, don't forget the ouzo on the house. Highly recommended.

I went there several times last year because the location and the food were good. I went again today, and the only thing that was as good as always was the view of the beach. The food was completely bland and tasted of nothing. The salad not only looked unappetizing, it also tasted completely bad. Never again.

A typical Baltic Sea promenade restaurant with a beautiful, well-located location. The food was generally okay – the portions were decent, and the fries and rice were good. Unfortunately, the salad tasted a bit stale, and the tzatziki wasn't very convincing. The meat was a bit dry. Overall, not a culinary highlight – okay for a quick bite, but not an absolute recommendation.

Yesterday for lunch I ate fried liver that was way too tough and had been on the grill for a long time, as well as gyros that were very dry plus fries that were completely drained in the Mythos restaurant. There was nothing convincing about this meal, far too much raw onion and the tzatziki came straight from the can. I immediately complained about the food to the waiter, the only comment was that it often happened that the liver was too tough. I wasn't offered anything else, e.g. B. Bifteki or similar. I will no longer visit or recommend this restaurant. There are better places!😡😡😡

Nice location of the restaurant, staff friendly and nice although we had 3-4 different waiters that evening and one of them didn't pass on our request to pay, they were friendly and tried hard. The food was ok although we have to say that we have eaten better in a Greek restaurant, for example Mythos in Eisenach! But I don't want to say anything bad because we enjoyed it so far.

Five of us (over 50) had dinner on New Year's Eve. We had reserved online weeks in advance by email and selected the time period from 8 p.m. suggested by the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed, but unfortunately we were only scheduled for 8:30 p.m., we don't know why. So we were first led to the smoking lounge. We immediately made it clear that we didn't want to sit here. We were then shown to a table near the smoking lounge. Unfortunately, we would have to endure the smoke from the lounge at this table all evening long. After ordering, we only received lukewarm food, some of it incomplete with an excessive amount of raw onions (totally unkind) on all meat dishes. After we complained about the food, we were only given hot fries. A joke if you criticize the entire dish. Even the Quzo on-site couldn't change our negative impression of the overall offering. The taste of the dishes wasn't ours and the price-performance ratio didn't meet our expectations either. Conclusion: Unfortunately this is no longer an option for us.

Celebrated my 60th birthday there while on vacation, everyone loved it and the owner is super nice. Highly recommended and always happy. See you soon and thank you very much again.

We were in the Mythos for the first time at the end of the season in Dahme. We ordered from the lunch menu. The bifteki tasted good and the service was quite attentive. So we will definitely come back again.

Wir sind aktuell in Dahme und hatten Mittags hunger.Um nicht so lange warten zu müssen ,haben wir auf der Homepage des Restaurants unsere Speisen ausgewählt ,zum Warenkorb hinzugefügt und eine Abholzeit genannt bekommen. 5 Minuten später eine Nachricht des Restaurants erhalten ,das sie sich für unsere Bestellung bedanken möchten Alles super....also auf den Weg gemacht das Essen abzuholen. Vor Ort dann die tolle Überraschung......heute Ruhetag. Besten Dank auch.Warum kann ich auf der Homepage bestellen?Warum steht auf der Homepage geöffnet?Warum kriege ich eine Bestätigungsmail? It was my first time eating at this restaurant. Unfortunately two different plates. My wife enjoyed the chicken and fries. I had a Gyros Souvlaki plate. I really like eating at Greek restaurants, but that was the worst thing I've ever eaten. The gyro was very fatty and felt like it had been warmed up in a pan. The souvlaki was grilled so dry you could hardly cut it. Delicious salad first, as I'm used to, none. A slice of tomato 2 slices of cucumber 1 pepperoni. Sorry, but not recommended for €20.90

Very tasty food right on the beach. Thanks to the large covered terrace with wind protection, you can still enjoy the sea view even when it is windy in the evening. Despite the restaurant being completely full, the food came relatively quickly. The souvlaki was well grilled, still very juicy and not dry and tough as I have experienced with other Greeks.

We were there for the first time this year and have to say that this is our new Greek place in Dahme. The food was great and the service was very friendly. We ordered the ouzo platter and the liver. Both very tasty and recommended!

Very tasty food, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere

We were there as a family and got our food in a reasonable time, which consisted of the starter: Dolmadakia with rice and tomato sauce, the farmer's plate (large bifteki with cheese, gyros, meat skewer, fries, tzatziki), the bifteki special with rice and a children's plate with nuggets, fries and salad. The food was so good, I don't think we've ever had such a delicious bifteki! Really good. I praise the salad on the children's plate, which is such a rarity for children. Could also be expanded as a “snack side dish” for children (peppers, cucumber, carrots) and a light herb dip 😊 Children's chairs are available. The service was impeccable, a little tip: be a little more attentive and look around more to see if the guests need anything.

Really nice exterior and, above all, well-kept and clean place! Full stars for ambience. Service staff very friendly! Unfortunately, the food was not at all convincing. Child received nuggets and fries. Yes, children's portion, but it was really mini mini, for just under 9 euros. Phew. Fries not seasoned, not even in the adult portions. Once I ordered shrimp skewers with fries. These came in a small bowl, you could almost count the fries on two hands. The skewers just weren't as large as expected for the price, and they weren't really seasoned either. Then gyros baked again with mushrooms. In my opinion these were not fresh. The cheese tasted artificial and the sauce tasted like nothing. A pity :(

Als langjährige Urlauber des Ortes,möchte ich über diese Lokalität einige Zeilen schreiben.Die Lage am Strand ist sehr schön,mit herrlichem Blick über die Promenade auf die Ostsee.Mehr Meer :-) geht nicht.Wir haben die Besuche in die Mittagszeit gelegt,um in den Genuß des günstigeren Preises zu kommen.Der Empfang im Restaurant war sehr zuvorkommend.Die bestellten Getränke,gut gekühlt, kamen zügig.Die von uns georderten Speisen ebenfalls angenehm zeitnah.Die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen.Geschmack und Frische tadellos.Die Mitarbeiter und das seit Jahren,sind sehr freundlich und kümmern sich herzlich.Wir fühlten uns auch in 2024 sehr willkommen.Da wir ,auf Grund der Zufriedenheit, das Mythos mehrfach aufgesucht haben,wurde der sehr gute Eindruck immer wieder bestätigt.Verehrte Leser dieser Bewertung,die Lokalität hat es verdient,sie einmal zu probieren!Freundliche Grüße an die Belegschaft,macht weiter so,ihr seid Spitze! I can't understand some bad recessions. The service staff was very attentive and nice. The food was delicious and filling. The prices are actually very good for the location and everything around it. I would definitely come back again.

The gyro was of solid quality, but could have been a little more for the price. You probably also pay for the location of the restaurant on the promenade, which is quite nice to sit on.

Very good service, the dishes are delicious and the atmosphere is also pleasant. My tip: It's best to eat there between 4.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., then it's not overcrowded, you have a free choice of tables and the waiters are less stressed.
