Unfortunately, you can only give 5 stars! ⭐️ I recently moved to Bautzen and, based on the many positive reviews, tried "Mythos" – and I can only join in with the praise. For starters, we had a tomato cream soup, which was rather light but very flavorful. This was followed by baked ham rolls – a true exotic among Greek dishes – and perfectly prepared saganaki. I would also like to particularly highlight the fresh salad, whose dressing was pleasantly different and truly delicious. Our main courses consisted of baked gyro and chicken breast fillet with pineapple – both perfectly cooked to perfection, wonderfully tender, and topped with beautifully melted cheese. The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and warm. We arrived on a Thursday evening without a reservation, but were seated quickly anyway – the restaurant was busy, and the atmosphere was very cozy. The wait for the food was pleasantly short, and the prices are on par with other Greek restaurants, but the service is exceptionally good! Later, the chef himself arrived, greeted the guests personally, and brought a glass of ouzo. When I asked for something non-alcoholic for my companion, he responded very courteously and with a smile. To finish off, there was a dessert of Greek yogurt with honey – a perfect end to a thoroughly enjoyable evening. For me, it's a definite recommendation! Of the more than 20 Greek restaurants I've visited in Leipzig, Chemnitz, and Bautzen, Mythos is definitely among the top 5. Great food, great service – keep it up!✨🙏

Absolutely perfect and incredibly welcoming! We were there with three children and got a table without any hassle, even without a reservation. The kids were allowed to use the in-house play area and absolutely loved it, while the parents enjoyed a little break in the super cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was first-class, and they constantly asked if everything was okay. It was a very successful and cozy evening with super delicious food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unfortunately, you can't give more than 5 stars! We had a wonderful evening at the Greek restaurant Mythos! The first impression was warm and inviting – you immediately feel welcome. For starters, we ordered tzatziki with fresh garlic bread, a real treat: creamy, intensely flavorful, and perfectly balanced. This was followed by a gyro plate and a gyro with tender chicken – both dishes were excellently prepared, juicy, spicy, and absolutely authentic. We would especially like to emphasize the hospitality of the owner: Not only was he incredibly friendly, but he even surprised us with an uzo – a wonderful gesture that made the evening even more special. We also enjoyed a very good wine that perfectly complemented the meal. Conclusion: Excellent food, first-class service, and a great atmosphere. If you love Greek cuisine, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Mythos! 🍷🇬🇷

Beautiful ambiance, a very friendly and accommodating chef, perfect for large groups as well as families. A cute little balcony, and of course, fantastic food. Highly recommended! Parking is not available on site, but is in the immediate vicinity. The restaurant is on the upper floor, but easily accessible by elevator for those with walking difficulties or wheelchair users.

Absolutely the best Greek restaurant for miles around. We were greeted extremely warmly, like regulars, even though it was our first time there. We immediately received a very cold ouzo, then another with the main course... and another after paying... The food was really extremely good and the portions were very generous, which is always important to me. I give it a solid 5 ☆☆☆☆☆.

It's always a dream come true! You feel like you're in Greece with friends. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The service is very friendly and attentive. The price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. When the weather is nice, the rooftop terrace is the best place to sit. We always enjoy coming back.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was a huge disappointment. Firstly, it's a Greek restaurant, as the name suggests, but there aren't any Greeks working there anywhere, except for the chef. The food was plentiful, but not as tasty as it should normally be. The lamb chops were underseasoned, and the fries were either reheated or fried in the oil for too long, because they were hard as rocks! I don't understand how a restaurant with such an inexperienced chef is always busy? For me, the one time I was there was enough. The chef should try eating with a real Greek, then he'll understand me! Addendum: I think my review here was completely misunderstood!!! I didn't mean to disparage the restaurant itself in any way. No, my review was exclusively and specifically directed at the Greek dishes, because unfortunately, they left a lot to be desired, I'm sorry to say, everything else was OK! I posted that too!

Simply top-notch. Very friendly staff, very efficient. The food was very tasty and plentiful. What I found really great was the amount of garlic. You get value for your money here. We had a reserved table on the terrace. Great atmosphere.

If you want to go to Mythos, you have to walk down a desolate corridor to reach the restaurant on the first floor. The first thing I noticed was the friendliness of the waiters. Unfortunately, that's not the case everywhere. We sat on the terrace. First, the warm appetizer plate. Then the lamb chop, which was very large. But my wife's lamb was also excellent and tasted delicious 😋. It was a very nice time. Thank you, Mythos.

As always perfect & flawless :) Special requests are happy to be accommodated, the food is varied and delicious. We would be happy to come back every time we visit Bautzen. The ambience is nice and the subtle music in the background creates a Mediterranean flair. Please continue like this :)

Food was incredible . bit pricy and about 5€ for water but food worth price . Great service. I speak english and staff tried their best to help. Bit cramped for seating great location but hiden in alley aswell as up stairs . Felt like i was in a hotel.

We love Mythos. Our favorite Greek restaurant. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. They cater to every request, and the food is always delicious and garlicky. You can taste it—it's not a pre-made one!

There is a large play corner for children. The selection of food and drink is very large.

Very friendly and fast service. Food looked very attractive at the neighboring tables. So the decision about which food to eat is relatively quick. At the end of the song, we picked up food poisoning there and spent the next few hours or days just in the ceramics exhibition. Definitely no seeing you again from our side, even though there were plenty of ouzo “jugs”. No seeing you again in this restaurant from my side.

Unfortunately we had something to complain about today's meal. Presumably (obviously) the meat in the children's meal was no longer okay. As an apology we were served dessert.

5 stars A small but great Greek restaurant! We haven't eaten so well in a long time. The evening started with an ouzo on the house, which was also available during the meal - and we were even treated to a delicious dessert. The food was excellent: the meat was perfectly grilled, the side dishes were fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was warm and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We were asked several times whether everything was to our satisfaction - really great service! We didn't spontaneously have a reservation, which we will definitely do next time as the restaurant was busy. All in all a perfect evening. Absolute recommendation!

Very good food. One ouzo before the meal and one large ouzo with the meal. Garlic fans will get their money's worth with the garlic potato chips. All in all a very good Greek. To recommend

We came with 4 adults and 2 children and were greeted very friendly. Our children disappeared straight into the little play paradise. The service was always friendly and quick. We accidentally ordered the wrong children's meal, but it was replaced quickly and easily. Our daughter spilled juice all over the table. The waitress immediately rushed over and everything was quickly wiped away. Despite the trouble we caused the staff, we always received a friendly smile. The food was more than sufficient and very delicious. We would like to thank all the staff for a great evening and will definitely come back.

You get Uso adulterated with water

A typical Greek innkeeper who is good with his guests. Fast and well organized. Portions, as is often the case, far too big, tasted okay, except for the meat, too dry. You can certainly try it.

We hadn't reserved a table, but got a table for three people in the next room without any problems. Food tasted good and came quickly. We were able to choose from the children's menu and the portion was sufficient. Our grandchild was able to pass the time until dinner by sliding, which he really liked.

This was our second time eating here and we would love to come back. Tastes wonderful and the service is friendly. Ambiance is nice.

A well-attended restaurant in the middle of Bautzen. Food good and tasty. Yes, the prices are a little more expensive here too. But it's worth it. The portions are a bit too big for me because I would have preferred to have an appetizer. But you just can't do that. But everything is ok. You should reserve in advance

Unfortunately only 2*. We ordered a lamb platter: 1 lamb skewer, 2 lamb chops, 1 lamb fillet (+ side dishes) to take away. At home we served the food and there were 5 lamb chops (+ side dishes). Our mistake: we blindly trusted the 4.7* reviews.

I had dinner there with my seminar group (approx. 15 people). Very friendly & attentive staff, typical Greek atmosphere. The prices were a little higher than other Greeks but a free bottle of ouzo & dessert makes up for it. I ate Befteki, unfortunately it was a bit burnt and dry

Super friendly service, we always asked if everything was right or if anything was needed, any special requests were taken into account and a calm atmosphere was ensured. It's always nice to eat at Mythos. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic. There is a large selection of dishes and the price-performance ratio is great. For us the best Greek in town. Always nice, always friendly and you just forget about time when you're here. I've never managed to eat everything, the meals are so plentiful. The dressing on the salad was the best I've ever eaten.

Service is nice and attentive, ambience is okay. But the food - never again! Fresh salads? None! Unappetizing, old, covered in ready-made sauce. The meat was dry and sinewy, the fish smelled disgusting, and it was far past the cooking point. 2 vegetarians among us had to complain about their starter platter several times, even though they had ordered it vegetarian. The second time, the service reacted with incomprehension as to why a fish cream was not veggie, and when the plate was brought for the third time, the fish cream that had been scraped away was stuck to the vegetables. Loveless and inattentive! They don't skimp on ouzo - but that didn't save the food either.

Unfortunately the food was more than disappointing. We have rarely eaten so badly. The prices are above average. The gyros consisted of coarse pieces of meat and fat and had a bad taste. The starters didn't feel fresh either. Our mistake was not complaining and leaving immediately. The food went back. We were kindly offered a dessert or cafe and the final price was reduced slightly. I have no idea where the good reviews come from. At least we were served by a friendly young woman. Unfortunately, your colleagues couldn't really understand us. If you afford to go out to eat, you can expect a corresponding performance.

Actually, I would give 0 stars if it were possible. Since the opening times were stated correctly, there is at least 1 star. Normal main courses cost 24-27 EUR. In return you get loveless plates of over-salted food. Both the fries and the gyros were completely over-seasoned. Drinks (Pepsi and Mirinda) with little carbonation. Not a restaurant you would go to a second time. For these prices you really expect something different.

Hello, we arrived at the myth very spontaneously. A very friendly service welcomed us. The food was very tasty, a pleasant atmosphere and a feel-good evening rounded off the visit.

Food was terrible for the prices quoted there. The fish was completely dry, in fact everything was completely over salted and tough. The whole group would have preferred to have everything returned. The service was unfriendly and was obviously very annoyed after a dish was served incorrectly and the service was politely pointed out. The only plus point - there was free ouzo

I'll start with the positive first. Staff very friendly, furnishings cozy, without Greek flair. The prices are astronomical, a bottled beer costs 6.30 euros as an example, everything is expensive, drinks as well as food. But now comes the outrageousness, the food at the prices. We don't want big portions and lots of booze, we want to eat well. The salad consists of cheap ice cream salad with an indefinable sauce, the cheap use of goods runs through the entire dish, which was not freshly prepared. The meat had been kept warm in the pan for too long and was dry and tasted like liver. The potato slices were like pudding and were supposed to be crispy but had also been kept warm. The food on the plate is as careless as in a canteen, as is the salad, which you can also see in the pictures. It's a myth that a restaurant like this can maintain itself with this level of service at the prices quoted. By the way, I have been testing dishes for many years, including from star chefs, so I immediately recognize poor preparation and cheap use of goods.

Been there three times in 2 weeks. It was just a coincidence, but I was really impressed all three times. Now, in addition to Görlitz and Dresden, we also have a favorite Greek in Bautzen. The food is very good, very large portions and the ouzo means too well 😋 The food prices are about 15-30% higher than usual, but the drinks are a little cheaper. But it's OK. Price performance fits perfectly 👍 We would love to come back.

Die Rezensionen sehen so gut aus, entsprechend dann die negative! Überraschung, wie schlecht der Gyros überbacken geschmeckt hat, das ist mein Standardgericht beim Griechen und das hier beim Mythos war wirklich! schlecht. Okay, an Ouzo wird nicht gespart und Bedienung ist sehr nett, was nicht selbstverständlich ist in Deutschland. Preise absolut nicht nachvollziehbar, 23.90 Euro für so einen schlechten, lauwarmen Gyros. Schade, da wir als Unternehmen oft beruflich in Bautzen sind, werde meinen Kollegen von diesem Restaurant abraten.

Eigentlich schöne Lage mitten in Bautzen. Preise erheblich überhöht, sogar Gyros über 20 €. Bei uns wurde eine falsche Nummer gebracht, das Gyros war viel zu grob geschnitten und fast kalt. Ein Mini Klecks Zaziki. Wir saßen im eher ungemütlichen Nebenraum. Freundlicher Service aber muss nicht mehr sein.

Wir waren das erste Mal da und sind sehr begeistert, Bedienung sehr freundlich und das Essen super!!!
