1. The experience has deteriorated significantly. When I used to go there, they had robots delivering food, but now, for some cost-saving measure or another, they've just put it in a self-service counter, just like the maocai (a type of dish) buffet. The experience is quite poor. It's become quite a bit less upscale... If you say it's all self-service, then everything should be on display. But even the more expensive ingredients require a separate order, which is ridiculous. Popularity has also dropped significantly. Before, you couldn't get a table on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays without calling. If you arrived late, you'd have to sit upstairs for the rotating hot pot. Now, it's usually empty, with only one or two tables occupied downstairs. This was my first time there after the renovations, and the experience has deteriorated significantly. 2. The waiter's attitude was average. I'm not sure if he was a relative of the owner. I asked for king oyster mushrooms three times (each time, only one, cut into several pieces), but he said they were out. Well, it was just us and two other tables that day, meaning the kitchen only had three king oyster mushrooms. The hot pot broth has also become much more bland and tasteless. They don't even offer lettuce for the barbecued meat. It's a real struggle to order anything; it feels like nothing is offered unless you ask. The worst part was, when she asked for a tip during checkout, I said no because I wasn't satisfied. She asked why, and I explained the above. Then, her defense broke, and she said, "The Vietnamese here really like it." I said, "Oh, so you're mainly doing business with Vietnamese people now, right?" She said, "The Vietnamese are very generous." I said, "Oh, they're really happy with the current model, right?" She said, "They really like it." It felt like she asked for feedback but didn't accept it with an open mind. She thought the customer was nitpicking and only wanted to hear good things. To sum up, I used to love bringing friends here, so I couldn't bring myself to give it one star. After all, I loved it. But now, it seems like our target audience isn't there anymore. Maybe there are more Vietnamese people, so I won't bother.

I was happy to dine in Munich, but I was deeply dissatisfied. The soup base was flavorless. My husband asked for more spice, but the waiter told him to add the chili peppers from the side dishes. The soup base itself was a bit excessive. The tomato pot was lacking in salt. The seasoning wasn't sesame paste, so the lamb rolls were probably problematic; they were hard to chew. The skin-on prawns were also weird, and the other meatballs, which were in water, also tasted weird. When I called to make a reservation, I wasn't told about the time limit. After I ordered and ate, I was told about the 1.5-hour limit, saying it would take half an hour from the time I walked in. They only told me the 1.5-hour limit, and I didn't see them mention it to the other Germans. When I walked out the door, there was a sign saying 2 hours. Why was it targeting me? I didn't enjoy the meal, didn't feel full, and spent over 100 yuan.

Very disappointed! The waitress was extremely rude. She arrived at 1:30 pm and said we were too late. She also didn't explain the new self-service system to customers, acting like they owed them anything! Now they've even learned to post good reviews and delete bad ones. They really don't learn from good things, so they learn bad things! The ingredients, especially the whitefish, aren't as fresh as before! I won't be dining here again! I was blind to the good reviews I had, and you deleted them. You're truly talented!

Despite having consumed alcohol, I was charged €1 for using the restroom. There was no receipt, either. Very unfriendly staff.

Value for money! All you can eat hotpot concept for very reasonable price

A few weeks ago we went to Muwu to celebrate a birthday and we loved it! It was the first time at Korean BBQ + HotPot for many of us and we will repeat for sure! The food was very good, and the service was very attentive to make sure we didn't miss anything and everything was to our liking, and they were super nice to all of us. 100% recommended!

I have mixed emotions for this place. It is a Korean bbq place that offers both grill and hot pot options. The food and price was ok. At logical prices. We had the all you can eat option which was more than satisfactory. Needs some improvement in their service by starting to understand English to serve their clients. Better cleaning of the tables used by previous customers also needs to be taken more seriously.

They offer a broad choice of meat, seafood, and side dishes such as vegetables or fish balls. sadly for a buffet, the fruits and desserts choice is limited. but the staffs were all VERRRY nice. we chose the hot pot & bbq grill. the tomyumgoong broth was fantastic. for two persons and 4 drinks we paid 112€. for an all you can eat buffet with these amount of meat & seafood, it was WORTH it. as the staff once said to me, "das heißt Genieße ohne Ende". we went home with a very full belly and a joyful heart.

Excellent and plentiful food! We were here as a group of two with a medium-sized dog (a Samoyed). We didn't quite understand the concept of the hotpot, but luckily our waiter, Mr. Xiu, patiently explained it to us and served us perfectly 👌 Great selection, highly recommended!

Chaotic experience. Get a table quickly, but the waiter is very confusing and hard to understand. We agree to the bbq buffet for €42.90 per person. Apparently meat is not included in this price, so we only ate fish and seafood. There are a lot of vegetables you can grill, but it is together with things for hotpot. The salads that belong to the buffet taste good, but I saw a dead fly in one of them. We got two buffets (bbq only) and a beer each. We paid €95, and the waiter seemed surprised that we didn't tip. Spend your money elsewhere in the area.

Came over from Scotland, first night in Munich, decided to give this place a try. 10/10 the service, atmosphere and food were all amazing, I'd highly recommend to anyone that's visiting. Shame there's not one back home.

My experience was good. We had hot pot and BBQ. Both were very tasty, and the ingredients were all of good quality, in my opinion. The service was also very friendly and eager to answer our questions and fulfill small special requests.

The hot pot was delicious. But €40 per person is expensive, even with the buffet. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was modern.

We reserved a table based on a Google search and the website. I didn't think the ambience was that great. But the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The meat from the buffet was good quality and there was plenty of it. Extras like rice were brought to us upon request. I was still a bit surprised when we didn't get the bill. 180 euros for two adults and two teenagers, each with a drink. It was good, but over 40 euros per guest for the buffet without a drink seems too much to me. The website said 30 euros. We paid and didn't argue because of the quality and friendliness, but we won't eat there again because of the price.

So first of all, anyone who gives a bad review here I have to say it's your own fault because you are responsible for your own food! The quality is phenomenal, super fresh and the selection is incredible. The waitresses are super nice and help you order the food. And if you still say it doesn't taste good then you can't grill, and now you don't complain of your own free will and know that you are responsible for the preparation yourself.

Beautiful location. A bit hidden, we had to search a bit. Some of the map wasn't translated correctly (spelling errors) but it was really just minor things. Service was very good, even with a robot that brings the food to the table where you just have to take it down. We could have even ordered the same ingredients again for free if we were hungrier. In any case, I'll go there again.

The last time I visited, the place was still called Fire-Dragon Lounge, and I only gave it one star. After a few years of abstinence, I have to say: things have improved. The place is reasonably clean. We had the buffet hot pot for around €36 per person. There is also grill and other options. The hot pot was good, the ingredients were fresh. We were more than full, even though we only ordered one round and also helped ourselves to the salad bar. The service was attentive. We were there on Sunday lunchtime - there were few visitors, which was pleasant for us. One point of criticism: My 12-year-old daughter already had to pay the full price even though she can't eat that much. A price level for 12 to 16 year olds, like Choi’s Hot Pot, would be desirable. Conclusion: Significant improvement, but the pricing for children could be fairer.

Four of us recently ate at MuWu. The waiter was very nice and provided great service. The atmosphere was great and very inviting. The way there was also very easy. We ordered BBQ and hot pot. Unfortunately, we didn't know exactly what was what with the meat, but in the end we were able to work it out quickly. We would recommend the BBQ at any time, but with the hot pot we felt like it was just hot water and not one of the two broths we ordered. The “broth” had no flavor, it just tasted like water. You might want to wear clothes that you intend to wash soon, as the BBQ will make you smell a lot like food afterwards. In our opinion, however, it is too expensive at €43 per person and the selection at the buffet was not outstanding either. The rating is only intended to serve as a well-intentioned criticism, as we were still satisfied and felt comfortable.

We chose Hotpot+BBQ Grill buffet. They offer lots of cold dishes and sources (forget to take photos), and the quality of the meat is good. It is interesting to combine BBQ and hotpot, but it is worth to try it. We went there during lunch time at a week day, it was more or less empty, good option if you dislike crowds. There are parking lots opposite of the restaurant but it’s not easy to find one.

Unfortunately our visit was a huge disappointment. The food was of very poor quality, especially the shrimp didn't seem fresh. The four of us ate hot pot and BBQ for around €120. I've never eaten so badly for so much money, We would have expected much more for this price. The meat was fatty and tasteless, the soup was barely seasoned, and the starter and dessert buffet was extremely sparse (oranges and ice cream from the supermarket). The waitress was friendly, but we often had to wait a long time for drinks and payment. It was also difficult to communicate because the staff hardly spoke any German. Overall, the price-performance ratio was catastrophic. We were annoyed that we had invested so much time and money. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Food was great, you can't complain for the price. Reordering went great with all you can eat without any problems. Service 1A, don't know what some people are writing here but the service was great. Of course, the restaurant wasn't crowded on a Sunday morning, so it wasn't a problem to comfortably enjoy the good food with two children and a dog. In any case, go there several more times.

I would say that the price is right

Despite the many bad comments, we dared to try our first Hot Pot Germany experiment and I have to say we were very positively surprised. The ingredients are extremely high quality and come to our table fresh. The broths are delicious and also spicy. There is a small starter and dessert buffet. Yes, you can't expect 1A German star service when it comes to service, but despite the stressed out waiter, he was always friendly to us and our drinks and orders came quickly. When reordering, you had to pay some attention, but even then we received everything without any problems. The only major drawback is the smell. Unfortunately there is no proper extractor hood, so the clothes smell strongly of food afterwards. But we would come again. (Note for wheelchair users: in front of the entrance there is a single step and a glass door. If this can be overcome, the restaurant is completely barrier-free, even with a spacious wheelchair toilet.

Service very bad. Almost weren't served. Forgot to heat up the plate. Food inadequate. At the end he wanted a tip of 5 euros and insisted on it until I wanted to speak to the boss. Overpriced and definitely not recommended.

Buffet hotpot was worth it for the variety of food (meat, shrimp, vegetable, etc) offered. Disgusting that when you asked for more soup to be added to your tomato-based or mala soup, they simply added hot-water. What the!! It just diluted the soup’s flavour. Who takes hot pot like that??!! A la carte menu like stirred fried noodles was outrightly mentioned not available when we stepped in despite us wanting to order, but was served to other customers in the restaurant. Well, the waiter/restaurant just wanted to maximise revenue it seems. Make your own judgement.

We ate at this restaurant and it was a disappointing experience. At first we were allowed to sit down, but then we had to change tables because it was reserved for other people. It was confusing since we had only just sat down. The waitress was obviously stressed and inattentive. We constantly had to get up ourselves to place new orders or ask for water since she never came. We also ended up having to wait 10-15 minutes to pay. Overall the service was disorganized and not much fun.

The most abstract Chinese restaurant in Munich, next to Choi's, I reluctantly made a reservation because I couldn't get a reservation. I took my German colleagues to eat, and no one came even after the water was boiled. The waiter paid separately and told the Chinese that no one left a tip, so the Chinese were too busy. You should just open your mouth and honestly say “this is our first time here, we need help please”. About our evening. We were both positively speechless and thrilled. First of all, our service was incredibly sweet and nice. He took his time, explained everything, and even when there was a larger crowd, which he already knew, he took extra time for us. Yes, the prices are a price, but for the ambience, the service, the food, etc. you can pay it. It was a great experience and I can recommend it to everyone. But as I said, people can't read minds, open your mouth and talk 😉☺️ thank you for the nice evening, it made my partner's birthday a lot sweeter.

I've eaten out many times before, but this time I had a very bad experience. A male employee kept bringing us the wrong food without saying anything. When I charged my bill it was 80.80 but the male clerk read it out as 82.8e. I said 85e. But he kept asking me whether I would still tip him or not. I was very uncomfortable.

I don't understand the bad reviews at all. Maybe it was previously owned by another owner? I found the price to be relatively great and the waitress was very nice. Had the BBQ + Hotpot. You pay pp 43 euros. There is also a small buffet with, among other things, kimchi, pickled radishes, authentic Chinese cold cuts. The best thing, however, is the sauce station, where you can conjure up your perfect sauce from a variety of basic sauces and spices/herbs. I also know this from Asia. So the store is our new favorite.

Four of us had hot pot here this evening. We were served by a young gentleman who was very friendly and shared his cultural treasures with us. Very good service. The quality of the food was satisfactory other than the choices (especially meat and sauces), which were very limited. The decor of the restaurant was very pleasant. All in all a lovely evening.

I was very disappointed. The only positive thing was the ambience and only inside, as the location (in the middle of the main train station) is terrible. There were four of us. Plus one child (3 years). First of all I have to say that there are no options for children. My daughter could only eat pasta. There's only one sauce you can whip up. Bit monotonous. I have to say, I had high expectations because I had already eaten a Korean BBQ on Boschetsrieder Str. and was completely impressed. The meat was incredibly stringy and very very fatty. The waitress simply crossed out some of our wishes that we had ticked off and said I would rather bring this and that. In the end we had four different types of beef and none of them tasted good. No rice with it. The HotPot in which you cook everything is also really not tasty in my opinion. Few spices. But the highlight came at the end: Since the portions were incredibly large, I ended up with a huge plate of food left over that I wanted to take with me. I was told that you can't take anything with you here and you have to pay extra. A real impudence. I then asked if it was going in the trash instead. And the waitress said yes. Give me 10€ then take it with you... I was so shocked and said we definitely won't come here anymore but the waitress didn't care at all. This statement alone shows very little class. It's outrageous to simply ask for more money and then negotiate to get the last €10 even though you have a €200 bill. Really terrible. And no one has ever heard of food being wasted. I also had a really bad stomach ache all evening, as did my sister. I don't know if it was the fatty meat or this HotPot, I call something else wholesome. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The service was very hectic and didn't take the time to explain everything. annoyed and unfriendly. She then simply selected and checked without asking. It is clearly too expensive for vegetarians. I have to say, I have very mixed feelings about this place. I went there with a very open mind and I had heard some many great comments from my Malaysian friends that my expectations were perhaps too high. FOOD: it is rather on the good side. The pork stake, beef stake, and all the chicken and lamb pieces smelled and tasted very good and very fresh (I’m very sensitive to food and smells and get tummy ache very easily), it was very pleasant to grill and eat these meats. The cray fish, Salmon, and tuna pieces were also smelling and tasting very good with and very rich! Here, I’m not entirely sure on the freshness, in my opinion it was probably on the verge of two days old in the fridge. The veggies are my favorite part! Everything was super fresh, clean, and rather much on the tasty savory side, mushrooms are incredibly good. I must say the muscles, shrimps, Campari definitely were not fresh and I’m so certain that they were mostly coming from frozen packages. The Salad bar is quite rich in options, however, be aware that it is very very rich in soy sauce, oil, and chilis (which can upset your tummy if you eat too much). The fruits they offer are fantastic, the deserts as well, the ice cream was definitely not for me (regular vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry). SERVICE: well this part left me baffled. The waitress was very nice, and brought our food and drinks, picked up anything that didn’t need use and took care of our grill rather frequently. However, at our table we had English, German, Spanish, French, Malaysian, and Mandarin. The Waitress was not able to communicate with us AT ALL. We did not really know how the all you can eat worked, and she just decided for us and brought us the huge platter which included items we do not eat at all. I am adamantly against food waste and we tried our best but some food was left over. I wish to have better communication so that we could order only what we wanted and as many times as we wanted but for us it was not the case, and I really felt bad because leaving a Tip was not an option for my parents given the circumstances. ATMOSPHERE: I saw someone wrote that it wasn’t welcoming or cozy. I have to agree with them. The place is big, clean, spacious, rather on the new side, modern, BUT, the place it way too big and I have never seen it half full. We had two or three other tables around us with people but the distance doesn’t make the place welcoming, it’s rather very quiet, and it doesn’t not provide a lively and joyful atmosphere that I normally expect in a restaurant. Furthermore, the layout is just suffocating, I think more ventilation is needed as with the grill you are burning hot and you basically breath the burnings of the grill, and you are left with all your belongings smelling like food.

You can only reserve online for up to 6 people for the all-you-can-eat for 2.5 hours. However, there were 8 of us on site and that wasn't a problem. Everyone chose the hot pot and grill all-you-can-eat (€46 per person). The waitress then came with a piece of paper on which we could tick what we would like for the hot pot and grill: pork, beef, seafood, vegetables, rice, pasta, one or two types of fish and no rice. They have an extra small stand for side dishes and sauces as well as 2-3 types of fruit and a ready-made cake that tastes like it was bought and that you can get again and again. We found the price okay. Other restaurants charge almost €40 for a one-off meat plate but offer good beef and seafood. Negative: The cola tasted like it had been open for a few days. It smells like a barbecue because there is no extractor hood. The waitress was in a hurry even though the restaurant wasn't even half full. She constantly told us what to put in the hot pot and on the grill instead of explaining to us how to adjust the heat of the grill and hot pot because the instructions are not written in German or English.

The service people are really unfriendly Hygiene is a real problem here. There were so many flies around the buffet that I lost my appetite right from the start. As a Korean, I know kimchi well, but it is too sweet and old-fashioned. The smell of meat is really strong.

The concept itself is great, I think the price is okay too, but some of the meat was inedible. Everything tasted like rubber. Seafood was good and things like rice cakes, mushrooms or mussels were good. Little choice of sauces, which is really missing from all the unseasoned food. But the worst was the service. The waitress literally yelled at us and ticked things off the All You Can Eat menu that we didn't even want to eat. There were six of us and we had two menus. We ticked maybe 5 things on one of the menus because you can always reorder. The employee comes to us, snatches the sheet out of our hands and starts ticking off almost everything else on her own. For a restaurant that says that you should only order as much as you can eat and have to pay for what you don't eat, that's very cheeky.

Yesterday we had a great evening here with great food. Despite some bad reviews, we wanted to try this restaurant. And what can I say? We cannot understand these reviews: Service: First Class! Very friendly, courteous and attentive lady. We felt very comfortable with her. Food: very fresh and delicious! Ambiance: very pleasant! We had HotPot and Korean BBQ and loved it! You choose the broth and ingredients on a piece of paper. These are then brought by a robot shortly afterwards. If you had any questions, the waitress was there and was very friendly and helpful. The whole thing is a bit expensive but definitely worth the money. We come here more often!

This is the worst hot pot restaurant in Munich. When you eat at their restaurant, you need to look at the looks of several aunties. Their attitude is terrible. We were not allowed to sit downstairs if there were empty seats. We couldn't find a suitable place upstairs. The location, and the hot pot area upstairs smells disgusting and is very narrow. I don’t know how much saliva is on the food on the conveyor belt. It’s so disgusting🤢. My friends had a bad attitude. If I wanted to sit down and have a normal meal, I had to eat their unpalatable barbecue. My friends persuaded me to leave. We had hotpot, all you can eat. It would be 5 if there were quail eggs. The food was fresh, the staff was extremely nice, and attended and of our wishes. We were there for lunch on a weekday so it was not that busy. Overall, really loved it. I do wish that the broth was a bit more flavourful (tomatoes specifically).

Very nice restaurant but the beef and shrimp did not taste the best, and the server kept coming over to grill our food for us. But overall nice restaurant and cute cat robot!

The atmosphere was very appealing, we were immediately greeted politely and shown to our seat. The waitress politely helped us choose the dishes, even if she more or less chose and ticked a few things herself, so unfortunately we ended up with a little leftover food. The quality of the food was surprisingly good and the appetizer/sauce counter was very spacious, I'll definitely be back!

Wonderful BBQ and hot pot Restaurant! We had a great time and the food was plenty with lots of meats to choose from and fry and cook for ourselves. I can only recommend it!

Just great! 😊 Muwu Grill House offers fantastic food and a great atmosphere. The meat was grilled to perfection and the sides were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. Particularly cool: A robot brings the food directly to the table! 🤖🍽️ Absolute recommendation!

It was my first time eating hot pot and I was thrilled. The selection is simply huge. You get a piece of paper with all the ingredients in advance and can then tick what you would like. There is also a small buffet with starters, desserts, fruit and a corner where you can put together your own sauce. The service was friendly and attentive. All in all, I was very impressed with the concept and would love to come back!

Had all you can eat hotpot. Beef and veggies were but certain seafood items were not awesome, especially crayfish. Merlot was good.
