The location is inside a market. To enter the store at night, you need to call to contact the door. But it’s worth it and I want to try other dishes next time.

Incredibly good. 7 or 8 stars! There is no more original Chinese cuisine in Germany. No glutamate cuisine, incredibly seasoned. Mausewang with duck blood!!!! P.S. Anyone who gives this 1/5-4/5 stars because it "takes too long" or is inedible should go to a Chinese station in the Lower Saxony or North Rhine-Westphalia in Bielefeld or Gütersloh or to a "tasty and fast" MacDonalds .

We (family of 3) were there on a Sunday. We looked for the restaurant for 10 minutes, it is located inside the market hall. The market hall is closed on Sundays! So we stood there, as ordered and not picked up! My wife is Chinese and called there 3 times. So on the days when the market hall is closed, it's more for “insiders”! After a few minutes a young Chinese man came and basically opened the back door for us. Then we walked across the closed market hall and up to the first floor. The restaurant is on the first floor, very small and inconspicuous, behind bars that are closed after closing time!! Not quite the ambience I had imagined... 4 or 5 tables behind bars, 3 of which were actually occupied. Ambience completely unadorned, prison design! I was already asking myself: what should we do here? Then the waiter, a student. Unfortunately no idea about anything, potatoes on the menu? Wait, I have to ask in the kitchen! After a minute, it became clear: there are no potatoes today! Unfortunately, the other dishes on the menu weren't my thing! My wife is absolutely thrilled!! Great shop...I'm like: what are we doing here? Well, then I had to order duck. I wanted a Chinese beer...no, we don't have any beer! Just water, tea and cola! Okay, then have a Coke! Then it came stale, probably a 5 liter bottle and I had the last of it. Anyway...great store according to my wife! Everyone had their food, except me! After what felt like 45 minutes the duck arrived. It was okay, no superlatives, but okay. Later I had a grumbling stomach all evening... a Spanish cognac saved my stomach. By the way, I was sitting right next to the heater, it was turned up to 5, I was completely frozen when I got home! The bill was very positive, very cheap! The “closer” then let us out through the secret side entrance. I was happy to be free again. For my wife it was great and delicious, for me it will definitely not be repeated!

On the top floor of the Markthalle, you need to ask the guy to open the door and pick you up on Sunday. The three of us ordered Guobao Pork, Dry Pot Duck, Di Sanxian, and Beijing Soup. The portions are ok and the taste is pretty good. recommend!

I never imagined that I could eat such delicious Chinese food when I return to Kassel many years later. The boss is very nice and the food is delicious. Excellent!

The three delicacies are very delicious, highly recommended. (The home-style tofu price of 9.8 euros only includes six triangular pieces of pre-made tofu, and the taste is very average, a bit sour, so don’t order this dish). Five stars are given to Di Sanxian, three stars are given to homemade tofu, and the average is four stars.

Essern is great, but unfortunately the opening times are not reliable. I recommend calling ahead before heading out.

Extremely delicious food! Curry tofu is highly recommended and the various vegetables are also delicious! The latter is quite garlicky but I love that! The gentleman who served us was also quite friendly :) unfortunately no card payment possible

Fantastic. It is generally difficult to find authentic Sichuan cuisine in Germany, especially in Kassel. You can find really excellent Sichuan food here. The menu is clear and the prices are more than fair. The bistro is small and is located at the top of the market hall. I will come here more often!

Ich hab noch nie so lecker Auberginen gegessen. Die Gerichte sind authentisch, die zwei jungen Männer geben sich viel Mühe mit dem kleinen Restaurant. Man isst selten so gut asiatisch wie hier!

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Von dem Ambiente braucht man nichts erwarten es ist ein kleiner Imbiss! Wäre super wenn der Service besser kommunizieren könnte, deutsch und englisch wird fast garnicht gesprochen man muss sich mit Zeichen verständigen dafür ist es super authentisch asiatisch und das Essen umso besser :)

Excellent Chinese food! We tried fried Aubergines 🍆 and it was absolutely amazing, as well as sweet and sour chicken and a soup. So aromatic and delicious! Would 100% recommend.

Wirklich sehr leckeres Essen. Wir haben uns das Essen liefern lassen und hatten keine Beanstandungen. Das Essen hebt sich von den sonstigen chinesischen Restaurants ab und bietet wirklich gute Qualität.

So wie ich mir eine authentische Küche vorstelle. Das Essen (ich durfte 11 Gerichte probieren) ist ausgezeichnet, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Insbesondere als Europäer gut essbar, da im Vergleich zu "Shan Dong" bei der Schärfe nicht übertrieben wird 😇

Markthalle 주차장으로 위치가 찍히는데 입구로 들어가셔서 왼쪽 대각선 끝 구석에 있습니다. 목 금 토 점심에만 홀 장사 하고 나머지는 배달이에요. 현금 결제만 됩니다. 진짜 다 맛있어요. 최고! 종업원 청년도 항상 미소를 머금고 있고 친절해요.

Absolut fantastisch! Wir hatten das "Ente Trockener Topf" und das Rindfleisch mit Vermicelli und beides war frisch und sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war unheimlich freundlich und die Preise sind in Ordnung. Kommen so schnell es geht wieder.

Original chinesische Küche in der Markthalle im Obergeschoss. Wer nicht auf angepasstes sondern ursprüngliches chinesisches Essen steht, der ist hier genau richtig!

sitze gerade über einer extrem leckeren Rahmen Suppe... eine echte Bereicherung für Kassel. Einfaches Restaurant in der Markthalle, aber frische authentische chinesische Küche. Auch für Vegetarier und Veganer stehen feine Sachen auf der Karte. Lichtjahre besser als viele etablierte Restaurants mit Buffet. Weiter so!

Achtung: Öffnungszeiten der Markthalle berücksichtigen, Mulan befindet sich in dieser im OG etwas versteckt. Hervorragendes authentisches Essen - lohnt sich sehr!

Das Tofu sowie der Fisch waren fantastisch! Lieferung war aus sehr einfach und schnell, kann mich absolut nicht beschweren, endlich eine authentische chinesische Küche in Kassel! :)

Kurzer Stopp in Kassel. Chinesische Küche in der Markthalle. Die Portionen waren ausreichend und lecker, haben aber relativ lange gedauert in der Zubereitung.

Wir sind über eine Stunde mit dem Zug gefahren, um zu essen. Dieser Laden befindet sich im Markt. Kein Buffet, aber sehr authentisches chinesisches Essen. empfehlen！

想不到在卡塞尔吃到了如此地道的锅包肉，酸菜鱼和地三鲜做的也很好！老板人也很厚到，饮料还给续了杯。 注意事项⚠️ 1.隐藏在市场楼上，楼梯左边👈 2.关门时间早，因为市场20点关，位置不多最好提前预定。

Authentisches asiatisches Essen mit sehr freundlichem Koch. Besonders empfehlenswert ist die knusprige Ente mit Sojasprossen und sehr leckeren Soße. Enjoy!

Yummy, wholesome and authentic dishes. In my opinion, one of the best place in Kassel to have chinese food. If you can speak german or chinese, getting the chef's opinion on what to have is even better. It's in the Markthalle and can appear closed some days, but a short call and someone will usher you in. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you like small, cozy places.
