Muharrems Dönertreff in Kiel

Old-school neighborhood kebab shop without chi-chi and excessive decorative kitsch. The ingredients are fresh and crunchy and for your money you get a decent kebab that is tasty and filling. If the meat hadn't come out of the warming container (why Kiel?), I would have given it full marks.

The kebab was crammed with salad. There was hardly any meat included. Price/performance is therefore rather poor. To me it felt like a scam. I hope there is no system behind it...

Ordered at 12:43 a.m. via an online delivery service. According to this you could still order there and it would take 25-50 minutes. Called there at 1:38 a.m., no one was available. Waited until 2:30 a.m. to see if my food would come. I understand if it was too late, but then please set the correct delivery times on online services and, above all, inform the customer that the food is not coming and reject the order. Not good customer service, will not order online here again. EDIT: Since it's unfortunately not possible to respond to the owner's response to this review, I have to write the answer here in an edit. It is unfortunate that the owner does not realize that his delivery times on the online service are obviously not set correctly. If there is no delivery there by a certain delivery time, then it will say “currently no delivery” in red letters. This was not the case at the time I placed my order. Otherwise I would hardly have ordered. What's even more unfortunate is that the store accuses me of telling untruths and doesn't even apologize for the mishap. I think that speaks for itself. I'm still disappointed, but I don't care anymore. There are other kebab shops in the area. Of course I can't say anything about the quality of the food because sadly I never got it.

Everything tastes very good and the boss is very friendly and welcoming. Everything that is in the kebab shop tastes good. Above all, the food and everything else that his wife prepares tastes so good and incredibly delicious. The bread tastes good because his wife bakes it. Yeah, mediocre, not really recommended

Below average Dürüm for a hefty €8.50 with meat from a metal box. Size is also below average, especially considering the price. Service extremely taciturn and hardly any eye contact.

Very bad kebab as there was only meat from the box and very small quantity. The fries were good. No friendly service. Not recommended in my opinion

I've been a regular customer for a long time. If you want good food at a fair price, you are in good hands here. From my experience, there can be no question of unfriendly staff. Anyone who is disrespectful cannot expect respect in return.

That wasn't really convincing. At lunchtime there should be a small kebab here for €5.50. Unfortunately there was no home-baked bread and the (dry) kebab meat was often served from a warming box. The quantity was okay for the price, but the taste wasn't really convincing. The kebab man wasn't unfriendly, as has often been written here. Clean displays in the refrigerated counter, although the rest of the store is pretty run down and could do with a major renovation. Probably not a repeat for me.

Sehr lecker, mir schmeckt der Dürum sehr! Da sie den Dürum noch ohne Alufolie grillen, ist er schön krisch. Es ist kein schickes Restaurant, was ich auch nicht erwarte.

Döner ist gut... Salat sollte man woanders essen...

Das Brot und das Fleisch hier hebt sich von allen anderen Dönerladen so ab. Einer meiner Top 3 Döner in Kiel. Noch nie habe ich beim Döner essen hier mehr als 5 min gebraucht. Es ist so lecker hier das ich manchmal ausversehen das Papier mit esse.

Sehr frisch der Salat und schmeckt auch

Der Laden sah etwas unordentlich aus aber sauber. Personal war freundlich. Der Döner war lecker. Der Spieß sah nach Industrie aus.

Super leckere und saftige Pizzabrötchen. Hervorragend. Immer gerne wieder. Lieferzeit auch Super.

Ein Fahrkartenautomat der DB ist freundlicher.

Wir hatte 2x den Normalen Döner geordert und sind vollkommen überzeugt. Wir waren erst etwas skeptisch als das Dönerfleichsch aus der Warmhaltebox geholt wurde, aber das Fleisch war echt lecker und saftig und garnicht fettig. Das Brot von außen schon knackig und von innen schön soft.

Hatte gestern einen Jumbodöner und muss sagen er war sehr lecker. Brot leider genauso groß wie beim normalen Döner. Beim Jumbo ist dann quasi mehr Inhalt drin. Daher 4 von 5 Sternen.

Das Personal ist sehr höflich und das Preis/Leistungs-Verbältnis ist absolut ok.

Muharrems Dönertreff bietet alle Speisen, die ein Dönerladen normalerweise auf der Speisekarte hat. Die Zutaten sind frisch und das Fleisch lecker. Die Sitzgelegenheiten im hinteren Teil des Ladens sind zahlreich und gemütlich. Preislich absolut okay. Hier esse ich gerne.

Zufällig habe ich am Sonntagmittag den Laden entdeckt und mir eine großen Döbner gegönnt. Schmeckte gut und der Salat war frisch. Vielleicht müsste man mal ein wenig renovieren, ansonsten meine volle Weiterempfehlung.

Muharrems war der erste Döner den ich damals in Kiel gegessen habe. Über die Jahre dann aber andere Stamm Döner gehabt. Da meine Firma gleich um die Ecke ist bin ich dann irgendwann mal wieder zum Mittag dort gewesen und seitdem fast wöchentlich da. Super Qualität und sehr freundlicher Service!

Mit Muharrem, dem Gründer, war ich bis zu seinem Unfall befreundet und daher Stammgast im Dönerladen am Ellerbeker Markt und in der Gutenbergstraße. Damals gab es dort meiner Meinung nach den besten Döner Kiels. Inzwischen ist der Dönertreff in Ellerbek schon lange geschlossen und der im Stinkeviertel hat neue Besitzer. Dennoch fahre ich immer, wenn mal zu Besuch in Kiel bin, kurz ran, um mir einen Döner zu kaufen. Ob es immer noch der beste Döner in Kiel ist, wage ich nicht zu beurteilen. Dazu bin ich definitiv nicht oft genug in Kiel unterwegs. Im Vergleich zu verschiedenen Dönerläden in anderen Städten (inkl. Berlin) finde ich den Döner hier immer noch top und der Dönertreff ist einen Besuch wert!
