MückenWirt Biergarten und Restaurant in Magdeburg

⭐☆☆☆☆ Leider haben wir hier eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung gemacht. Obwohl die Terrasse komplett leer war, wurden wir abgewiesen mit der Begründung, der Innenbereich sei vollständig reserviert. Tatsächlich waren dort jedoch nur wenige Tische besetzt. Ich habe freundlich gefragt, ob es möglich wäre, einen trockenen Tisch auf der Terrasse für uns herzurichten. Die Antwort war ein knappes und unfreundliches „Ungern“, verbunden mit einem Blick zu einem Kollegen, der deutlich den Eindruck vermittelte, dass man sich diese kleine Mühe einfach nicht machen wollte. Es geht nicht darum, dass nicht jeder Wunsch erfüllt werden muss. Entscheidend ist, wie mit Gästen umgegangen wird. Freundlichkeit und Servicebereitschaft hätten hier den Unterschied gemacht. Wir haben uns leider nicht willkommen gefühlt und sind wieder gegangen.

Ich mag die Atmosphäre hier. Wir wurden heute von Izabella bedient. Sie hat eine sehr charmante Art und hat sich gut um ihre Gäste gekümmert. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Der Mückenwirt ist eine Institution in Magdeburg. Oft steht der Chef selbst hinter dem Tresen oder am Grill. Das imponiert! Getränke sind vielfältig und die Grill-Station im Außenbereich liefert alles, was das Herz an einem Sommerabend begehrt. Wir kommen immer wieder gern hierher!

Moin Zusammen, wor hatten hier ein tollen Sonntag mit leckerem Essen. Die Schnitzel sind hier hausgemacht und nicht Conveniens. Der Service ist sehr charmant und aufmerksam. Mein Hund schwärmt immer noch von Izabella. Ich kann den Mückenwirt nur weiter empfehlen.

Super Biergarten direkt an der Elbe. Es kann im Restaurant alacarte gegessen werden oder draußen die Grillwurst oder das Steak beim Bier. Lediglich die Klärgrube und Toiletten bieten ein Geruchserlebnis was nicht so toll ist. Hier sollte man sich mal was einfallen lassen.

Normales Essen, Preise auch okay

Schön, direkt an der Elbe gelegen. Ideal, wenn man mit dem Fahrrad vorbei kommt und im Aussenbereich eine Kleinigkeit (Grillwurst, Bulette...) essen und ein Radler trinken möchte. Oder halt was richtig im Restaurant.

Gutes Bier, habe das Helle probiert. Hat nach Wunsch ein Radler gemischt, macht auch nicht jeder. Gutes, freundliches Ambiente direkt an der Elbe.

Lädt mit schönem Ambiente unmittelbar an der Elbe zum pausieren bei Touren ein. Auch Events lohnen sich durch großzügiges Platzangebot auch unter freiem Himmel.

Alles perfekt gewesen. Das Essen ist super. Für jeden was dabei 👍

Bedienung hatte anscheinend zunächst keine Lust unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen. Beim zweiten Versuch am Nachmittag lief es am Bierwagen besser.

Das Restaurant liegt am Ufer der Elba. Es war sehr beliebt im Ort, da es sehr voll war.

Wir waren im Frühjahr dort und es war Klasse.

Eine wirklich schöne Location. Direkt an der Elbe. Wir kommen oft hier her und nutzen den Biergarten. Leider ist das Personal am Getränkewagen immer!! sehr unfreundlich. Ist mir völlig unverständlich, wie man so die Gäste behandeln kann. Schade

Wir haben gut gegessen und das Lokal war gut besucht. Eine Reservierung war nicht notwendig. Der Service ist optimierbar.

Wir hatten uns zum Sonntags-Brunch einen Tisch bestellt

Erstmal muss ich mal sagen, ist dies hier ein sehr schönes Ambiente, ein sehr zuvorkommendes, sowie auch super freundliches und auch hilfsbereites Personal, wie auch die Chefs, die auch hier oft mit vertreten sind. Was das Essen angeht, sehr lecker und auch echt weiter zu empfehlen. Hier wird, jeder mit ein Lächeln empfangen und auch nach Hause geschickt😊. Veranstaltungen, wie Geburtstage, Hochzeiten, Firmenfeiern usw., werden hier gut beraten und natürlich auch in die Form der Wünsche umgesetzt. Auch nicht zuvergessen, gibt es hier einen Mini-Golf-Platz, sowie das Mückenfloß und auch Boote, im Verleih. Die Sauberkeit im Innen-sowie Außenbereich, sind extrem überschaubar. Im großen und ganzem ist das der perfekte Ort, für Jung und Alt, nicht zuvergessen, gibt es hier auch die Mückenwiesen und viele weitere Feiern und Partys. Hochachtungsvoll, Firma Beegod.

Wir durften hier eine Jugendweihefeier mit erleben. Der Service und die Organisation waren sehr gut. Essen war hervorragend und auch die später am Abend durchgeführten Entertainment hat gut gepasst.

Spontaner Besuch war nicht möglich, obwohl ein Tisch frei war. Wir wurden beschuldigt das Restaurant ungebetenen zu betreten. Der Ton macht die Musik. Sehr unfreundlich.

Wir waren hier zu Themen Dinner mit Heinz Erhardt. Das Event war sehr schön. Das Service Personal umsichtig, freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Die Lokaischen selbst sehr schön gelegen, ordentlich und sauber. Total schöner Abend mit supertollem Essen.

Ich hab hier am Pfingstmontag spontan angehalten und nach nem kleinen Frühstück gefragt. Es war gerade Brunch und es war auch noch Platz. Da ich aber auf meiner Radtour nur eine Kleinigkeit essen wollte war mir das natürlich zuviel. Die Mitarbeiter waren mega freundlich, total unkompliziert und haben mir ein sensationelles Angebot gemacht! Vielen Dank dafür! Ich komme bestimmt mal wieder vorbei, wenn ich in der Nähe bin! Erstklassiger Service! 🥰

Das Essen und die Getränke im Biergarten sind schlicht aber Lecker abhalten Lohnt sich.

Eine Super Location für eine Rast an der Elbe. Lecker Frikadelle, leider zu klein für den Preis. €3,90 mit Brötchen.

THE MÜCKENWIRT ON THE ELBE Well, the MW is only partially suitable for a class reunion. A very lively group of people was sitting next to us at the same time, loudly exercising their vocal cords... It was almost impossible to communicate among us... The food selection was very limited. The interior design lacks any coziness. We wouldn't choose this venue for a class reunion again. Sincerely, W. Beautiful beer garden on the Elbe River, pleasant interior, good food and drinks, and friendly staff.

The food is not so fresh in my opinion. The fries were very very salty and the prices are high.

We always enjoy our stay here on the Elbe. All the staff are always very friendly and the service is prompt. Since we always feel very comfortable, we came here today for a birthday dinner. The table was beautifully set. Drinks and food arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't warm enough. Apart from a verbal expression of regret, nothing came. We were actually expecting a small gesture of apology, perhaps in the form of a free drink. It was also very loud there. The acoustics in the beautiful rooms could therefore be improved. All in all, though, a great day-trip restaurant on the Elbe.

Due to a celebration at the restaurant, we only went to the beer garden, but it was good. Try the pasta salad, it's fantastic.

I've known the Mückenwirt for many years, and the space has expanded year after year. The food is great, whether it's brunch, a hot lunch, or from the grill. There's something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and attentive. You can sit inside or outside. The restrooms are very clean. After dinner, you can take a walk along the Elbe. From summer to fall, the Mückenwirt also hosts several events. It's a little corner where you can simply feel at home.

Well, I've been to better restaurants. We ordered schnitzel with fried potatoes, which, of course, they didn't have on offer. Ordered them anyway, but with a surcharge, and we got reheated fried potatoes, which I returned in full! It's a disgrace, not on the menu but served reheated. The mushrooms that came with it were lacking in flavor and lacked any shine. The one star is for the beer.

The Mückenwirt seems to have been around forever, and people always enjoy stopping by for a fine beer. The strongest argument in favor of the Mückenwirt is its unrivaled location as a beer garden directly on the riverbank, overlooking Rotehorn Park. In summer, lounge chairs invite you to relax with a cold drink. Of course, you can also enjoy a meal at the grill, play a round of miniature golf, or dine on the menu in the restaurant. We've met there several times as a group in the winter and were also satisfied with the food.

The food is delicious, though not exactly cheap. I can't rate the service highly enough, as we had to serve ourselves. The outdoor seating is quite nice with a view of the Elbe. It's a very popular area.

We only went to the beer garden that evening and sat right by the Elbe River. Self-service is OK, so I didn't rate the service category. There are always people who don't return their dishes/glasses, but they were cleared away regularly.

The location is truly idyllic and beautiful, right on the water, but unfortunately some of the staff were not very pleasant.

I found it very spacious and uncomfortable, but it certainly depends on the various events. Oktoberfest, for example, would definitely appeal to some people, as long as you can still sit outside.

A must-do when in MD. Ideally located on the Elbe Cycle Path, with occasional live music and a morning pint. The ferry to Rothehorn Park is right outside, as is MD's most famous and best ice cream parlor... Bordschneller. Both are worth a visit.

The food was generously portioned and very tasty. The waiters were understaffed. Drinks were cheaper and quicker outside than if you order inside. It was definitely a great place.

A little holiday moment in the middle of everyday life! With a view of the shimmering Elbe River and the verdant city park, this is a wonderful place to unwind. An all-around perfect place to relax! The food is simply delicious, and the entire staff is extremely friendly. Particularly impressive: Even at 36°C outside, the grill staff always, truly always, have a smile on their faces – that's hospitality in action! Everything – from the restaurant to the restrooms to the outdoor areas – is clean and well-maintained. Our absolute favorite spot!

We were here two evenings because it just worked out... unfortunately, we didn't have any luck in the restaurant on the first day, as there was a private event. But the beer garden was open and the grill was blazing hot, and the weather was simply fantastic. The second evening was River Night, so we came back, this time with great live music... great location, friendly service, right on the Elbe River and the bike path... always happy to come back.

My first visit here as a neighbor, very nice. The kitchen could perhaps be open later, but it's okay, you can manage and just have a drink. Good and fast service and fair prices – highly recommended!

We were here as part of the Riverside Night. Our first visit here. The outdoor seating was very good, and the ambiance was perfect. The atmosphere was good, the prices were high, and the food was also good.

Located directly on the beautiful Elbe River, it exudes rustic charm. The spacious outdoor area is ideal for families. The main building, built on stilts and protected from flooding, features a terrace, making it the perfect spot for watching ships, boats, and rafts pass by. A cool beer and a delicious meal—what more could you want? Sports broadcasts are shown on a giant LED screen outside.

With a gentle breeze and sunshine, it's a wonderful place to relax on the Elbe.

Yes, I highly recommend this place. It would be nice if they offered coffee outside as well. The surroundings at the Mückenwirt are perfect for walking, enjoying nature, or simply sitting and chatting with friends. The snacks offered are delicious and there's a good selection available. We love coming here and will be back again.

I was there today as a guest, and once as a delivery driver. The food was delicious, I can only recommend it, and the price was reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely thrilled, the restaurant is upscale and natural, a bit pricey but very tasty. If you want good food, you have to pay the price. I've saved it and would gladly come back anytime. Great, keep it up.

Six of us dined there, and everyone was happy with the food. Everything from the rump steak to the farmer's breakfast is highly recommended. All of this, including drinks and tips, cost us €170. 😁 The service was excellent, always friendly and up for a joke, thanks Costa. The ambiance was simply fantastic; we sat overlooking the Elbe. All in all, the MückenWirt is highly recommended. We'll be back, thank you for everything.

Very friendly service, incredibly delicious schnitzel, and a very large portion. I haven't had such a good meal in a long time. And the view of the Elbe River was also magnificent. Definitely worth recommending.

A very nice beer garden located right on the Elbe River. I highly recommend the grill station. Several salads to choose from, meatballs, neck steak, and bratwurst are available. All delicious!

The restaurant is in a good location (on the Elbe River), but the prices are quite high. I found it simply too expensive for what you get (although it was tasty). A slightly wider selection of main courses would be recommended.

The food was excellent! It was very loud at times at the next table. We had reserved a table that wasn't ready when we arrived. The server, named Kosta, was very unfriendly. The colleague who served us afterward was the complete opposite. Otherwise, a lovely afternoon.

In my opinion, the service was understaffed. The appetizer came before the drinks. That's very unusual. The subsequent rounds of drinks also took a while. The main course was served very quickly. However, the waiter can't stand behind the guests and call out "ox" for the ox cheeks. You should have something to eat instead, stand in front of them, and reasonably ask who gets what. The schnitzel looked like it had been deep-fried, as it was evenly browned, and the mushroom cream sauce was, in my opinion, tasteless. Either it's pre-made or it's a convenience product. It's also a shame that smoking is permitted on the terrace, and the smoke drifts into the dining room through the open windows.

Beautiful location, whether in the restaurant, on the terrace, or by the water, the top-notch team is always friendly, and a little chat is always welcome. We feel very comfortable and welcome there. Whether as an individual or in a large group, they're great.
