It was fantastic. The best wine tasting I've ever had. The food was, as always, outstanding, and the service is simply the best 😉 Everything was lovingly and stylishly prepared. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank you very much.

The ambiance was great. The service too. BUT! We ordered the Piccolo winemaker's platter for four people. The platter, at €22 per person, was a joke. This cheese platter (see photo) cost €88. I just shake my head. What a shame.

One of the best restaurants in Magdeburg. Wonderful dishes are conjured up with love and creativity using regional and seasonal produce. A small menu, high quality. Vegetarians will also find something to their liking here. The ambiance, hidden beneath the cathedral in the medieval part of Magdeburg, is dreamy – especially in the outdoor seating area. Inside, it's a bit more cramped and can get noisy. But the culinary delights more than make up for it.

The building dates back to 1850, and the "Purveyor to the Court" will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2025. I/we have made approximately 6-8 visits during this period. Project meetings, our own celebrations, friends' celebrations, as was the case recently, or simply a meal for two. First, the positive: The ambiance on the historic Fürstenwall with a view of the cathedral is uniquely beautiful. One of the very best locations in the city. The service is usually friendly and attentive. If they can't fulfill requests, and that unfortunately does happen, it's usually the fault of the kitchen. Over the years, the owners have all too often shown a lack of luck here. While their own standards in the selection of ingredients, their preparation, and especially their visual presentation have always been exceptional, their overambition often corresponded with the unattainable due to a lack of skill. I ate what felt like the best salad dressing of my life here many years ago. They wouldn't tell me the recipe. So it remains their secret how occasional strokes of genius and frequent unprofessional preparation of main courses fit together. Too often we left this restaurant disappointed. Most recently at a confirmation celebration. If we had been there privately, we would have immediately sent back one of the main courses offered. Who says dumplings have to be served so dry and then the kitchen refuses to add more sauce when another guest asks for it? The second main course of chicken was at least not worth mentioning. Not to be misunderstood, it wasn't bad but it also fell far short of their own standards. We immediately dismissed the option of an early (private) return following an organized wine tasting this summer.

We've celebrated many parties there, and it's always been perfectly organized. Thank you, dear Hoflieferant team.

All in all, a well-deserved 5 stars! Foodies will definitely get their money's worth. Regional and seasonal dishes were on the menu, perfectly prepared and lovingly presented. We had a lovely warm summer evening, so we sat outside. The rose bushes and the entire ambiance conjured up a special flair for the evening. The service was extremely friendly and very attentive. Many thanks to the entire staff!

We had a wonderful birthday celebration with fine gourmet cuisine and fine wines. The staff spoiled us. My guests were impressed by the beautiful location and the thoughtful table decorations, and special requests were accommodated and implemented superbly. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we couldn't sit outside in the garden, so we had a table inside for two. The service was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed, not hectic like you'd expect from other restaurants. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the ingredients were perfectly balanced. The main course took a while to arrive, but you have to keep in mind that the food is locally sourced and fresh, and you can taste it. The menu is quite concise, which is one of the reasons why. We'd definitely be happy to come back.

The restaurant has a very nice outdoor area. We reserved a table online at short notice and were assigned a sunny spot with a great view of the city's architecture. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the menu offers a good selection, which is also recommended for vegetarians. The chef's special and the food were creative, fresh, and delicious. Card payments are accepted, but tips must be paid in cash. Highly recommended!

We had pre-booked a table on our last evening of our stay in Magdeburg (I think it's recommended). We had the Abenbrot thali & the asparagus cream soup as starters. As a main course, the roasted belly of Havelland apple pig and the ragout of roe deer from the Genthin forests. Simply excellent! A bit of a different (in a positive way) cuisine than anywhere else. Definitely take a look!

The visit was totally worth it. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and accommodating. It's a bit hidden, which made it a little difficult to find, but adds extra charm to the already beautiful location. Considering the quality of the food and the good service, the prices are reasonable. Conclusion: Clear recommendation!

The Easter menu for 64 euros was appropriate for the occasion, but not outstanding. The service was polite but not professional enough for a restaurant of this class. In addition, no bread was served, which I would have expected in this price range. Overall, the price-performance ratio was disappointing, especially in comparison to Landhaus Hadrys, with which the restaurant has to compete in its price range.

Great food, great service, great restaurant. We have been there many times and will come back many more times as the purveyor to the court never disappoints. The dishes are unique and a real pleasure, which are wonderfully accompanied by perfectly matched wines. The staff are always up for a laugh and a nice chat, you immediately feel at home. I would like to give more than 5 stars because the Hoflieferant team really deserves it.

I ordered a table online through the website for P2 for the 22nd. At the same time I asked you to decorate it with a little flower. It was our first visit to the court supplier and I can say it was a feast for the palate, the senses and all other sensory organs. It was delicious. The table was lovingly set - the service was great. The food from the starter to the dessert - simply fantastic. Afterwards, we stocked up on a few bottles of wine from the entrance area and left satisfied and happy. A real treat - absolutely recommended. Thank you for this great evening.

We were there for a wine tasting with a 3-course menu. There is no other way to say that the evening was perfect. Great food and great wines. Very attentive service and everyone was friendly. Unfortunately, the only point I had to deduct was regarding the acoustics upstairs in the room. In the long run I found it quite loud due to the many conversations of the many guests. But of course that could just be a purely subjective feeling on my part. Otherwise absolutely recommended and we were certainly not there for the last time!

I am now a regular here, once with my husband, now with my daughter. And we are greeted by name. This time we both chose something vegetarian or vegan. Difficult to remember the dishes because the menu changes frequently. For my daughter there was beetroot with melted Camembert and various types of cabbage on turnip puree with Korean nut butter, for me there was fried purple carrot, baked celery and baked onions on coconut parsnip puree with drops of sweet chili. We are always extremely interested in the interaction of flavors. The dessert was really crazy: vanilla mouse with a very light laurel aroma, a finely balanced espresso-soy sauce and orange including orange sauce and mint leaf. The meal was worth it. It's always a celebration for us!!! In addition to the culinary delights, we really like the ambience, our dogs are always welcome and the service is super attentive, friendly and competent. Incredibly delicious food, where you can literally taste the regionality and seasonality. There was a delicious greeting from the kitchen and the staff was extremely nice and accommodating. In winter, of course, you sit inside, where every space is used and it can sometimes get quite loud around you. If you don't like that, you have to eat there in the summer to sit outside. Recommended and worth the price.

We had an absolutely fantastic evening. The supertives follow: There were four of us and we enjoyed the starter, main course and dessert. All three courses were fantastic. The combinations of spices and flavors were something that reminded you why it's worth going out to eat: even the keen amateur cook can't do something like that at home. This wasn't just food, it was a dining experience! In addition, an absolutely loving service from Dörthe and Daniel, which created a dining room atmosphere that we will happily enjoy again! It should also be said that there was also a great selection for our two vegetarians that did everything it promised. And the wine selection went great with the food!! :)

The food tasted very good, but we had to wait a long time for it. The main course didn't arrive until after 1:15 hour and since the dessert unfortunately still wasn't there after 35 minutes, we had to cancel it because we had to go. Only to realize that they hadn't even started preparing it. Unfortunately there was no apology for this either. Very unfortunate.

Overcrowded, long waiting times but delicious. We were there for Valentine's Day and had a 4 course menu. The food was delicious, the service was friendly. Unfortunately it was too crowded to enjoy the evening. Due to the large number of guests, it was very loud and difficult to have a conversation. We were lucky with the seats, other couples had seats right at the door or 20cm away from the staircase. We also had to wait a very long time for the food. It always took around 30-40 minutes between courses. PS the toilets also need a renovation. Conclusion: I would not recommend anyone to go there on days like this. Very unfortunate.

My boyfriend and I had dinner there yesterday for our anniversary. We had a very nice evening in a wonderful atmosphere. The nice waiter (Daniel 😉) was absolutely humorous and entertaining. The menu is smaller but you can taste the quality of the food. The dessert was quite sweet but very tasty, as was everything else. There are various options for vegans and vegetarians too. We were very happy with everything and would love to come back! 🫶🏻

The food was really, really good. The various components were very well coordinated and harmonized wonderfully with each other. You could tell that the dishes were well thought out and prepared with love. We were really excited. The service was attentive but not too intrusive. It just echoed upstairs in the room and had a little less ambience than downstairs. For my partner and I, it is the best restaurant in Magdeburg in terms of both the price-performance ratio and the seasonality and regionality. We'd love to come back.

The entire meal was a real enrichment and will remain in our memories. The dishes are unusual, delicious compositions, vegan and not vegan. The service from Steffi and Daniel was excellent and, above all, very attentive and cheerful. It was fun, both culinary and human.

The purveyor to the court clearly scores points with its ambience. In the evening, the dimmed light in the restaurant helps to make the first date but also the food look better than it actually is. As soon as you stop in with a larger group, the service stalls, drinks are forgotten and the menu seems endless. For 3 (pre-ordered, i.e. known) courses over 2.5 hours. If at least the food had had less “roasted aroma” or the service had been more attentive and friendly, no problem. People also had the feeling that they would rather tolerate dogs than small children playing. The food and service do not live up to your expectations. Unfortunately I'm disappointed for the second time.

We once again had our holiday dinner on Christmas Day in the “Hoflieferant” restaurant in Magdeburg because we really, really liked it in previous years. It was another special, festive experience for us. The ambience, a warm, friendly atmosphere, the courteous, personal welcome and friendly service; you feel that the guest is “king” here, We enjoyed the delicate menu, the result of special culinary art, as always made from exquisite, fresh, regional products and beautifully presented to the eye. For us, nothing was left to be desired for our holiday meal. We would like to express our special thanks to the management and team of the restaurant.

This year's New Year's Eve menu was once again a very special compilation of dishes. A successful interplay of flavors and very good service. A really great 3-course menu with harmonious accompanying wines. Beforehand there was also a small kitchen greeting with champagne to everyone's approval. Stylish restaurant in a prominent location between the cathedral and the banks of the Elbe. Solid ambience in vintage style. The New Year's Eve menu was excellent in composition and quality. The tables were obviously not assigned to multiple people, so you could determine the pace of the course sequence yourself. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The prices were reasonably middle-class. Overall, I would be happy to come back at any time and absolutely recommended!!

This restaurant is Magdeburg's number 1 for everyone who wants to eat upscale, regional and seasonal food with very good service - without it seeming "over-the-top". Since both vegan/vegetarian and omnivore dishes are offered, it is ideal for mixed groups. The map is not overly large, but is still very versatile, which I consider to be a clear plus. Vegan dishes are specifically declared. The dishes do not require any substitute products and are still wholesome (you don't have the feeling of being fobbed off with side dishes) - the taste is excellent, the flavors are very well coordinated and it is beautifully presented.

Great location, the light downstairs should be more comfortable, dim
