Das hat schon den Name geändert. Jetz heißt IKIGAI Krefeld Sushi & Ramen Restaurant

"Bei unserer Ankunft heute mussten wir feststellen, dass das Restaurant einen neuen Namen hat und nicht mehr 'Mr. Wasabi' heißt. Wir sind trotzdem rein, aber der Service war unterirdisch. Die Kellnerin war eine der schlimmsten, die ich seit Jahren erlebt habe; es wirkte fast so, als würde sie uns einen Gefallen tun, uns überhaupt zu bedienen. Für drei Personen brachte sie uns nur eine einzige Speisekarte, sodass wir selbst aufstehen mussten, um uns weitere zu holen. Beim Servieren war ihr der Unwille förmlich ins Gesicht geschrieben. Die Sojasauce wurde nie gebracht – auch hier mussten wir wieder selbst zur Bar gehen. Es wurde kein einziges Mal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Da sie nie wieder an den Tisch kam, konnten wir auch keine weiteren Getränke bestellen. Das Essen hat uns absolut nicht geschmeckt, aber das Schlimmste kommt noch: Es ist jetzt Mitternacht und wir trinken seit vier Stunden ununterbrochen Wasser. Das liegt eindeutig am Mononatriumglutamat (Geschmacksverstärker). Es wurde so viel davon verwendet, dass mein Magen immer noch extrem aufgebläht ist, obwohl wir fast nur Fisch gegessen haben. Einfach schrecklich, wir kommen nie wieder

Bisher nur Sushi liefern lassen und es war ziemlich gut. Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Immer wieder gutes Sushi. Leider ist die LED-Beleuchtung echt nervig, wenn man etwas sensibler ist (das Video ist in Zeitlupe aufgenommen).

Ein unfassbar gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Essen war sehr lecker und hübsch angerichtet. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Restaurant sauber und modern eingerichtet. Selbst das stille Örtchen war makellos. Ich kann eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung aussprechen 😊👏🏻 Wir sehen uns wieder☺️

Von außen gibt der Laden erstmal nicht besonders viel her, aber innen ist er wirklich super schön und sehr entspannt eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Das Essen ist richtig lecker und man merkt die gute Qualität der Zutaten. Besonders die Poke Bowl kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen! Ich freue mich schon sehr auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

Ich dachte, es wäre teuer, da es ein wirklich schönes Lokal ist, aber die Preise sind sehr erschwinglich. Man muss also nicht extra nach Düsseldorfs „Klein-Tokio“ fahren, um Sushi zu essen.

Recht unscheinbar, aber ein klasse Laden. Super qualitatives und leckeres, welches man woanders in Krefeld nicht bekommt + sympathische Mitarbeiter :) Die PokeBowls sind vom Geschmack und Preisleistungstechnisch unschlagbar. Empfehlung geht raus.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Sushi ist unglaublich frisch und lecker! Auch die anderen Speisen überzeugen absolut. Wir haben bisher nur den Lieferservice genutzt. Der ist immer auf die Minute pünktlich (Oppum).

Everything was very fresh and delicious

The two of us spontaneously went to Mr. Wasabi Krefeld. All dishes (udon soup, M5, P5, sweet potato fries) were very nicely prepared and tasted very good. Service was quick and nice. We find the atmosphere appealing. Absolutely recommended, also because the price/performance is right. Negative: the cobwebs between the window and the ceiling!!!

A super nice, modern restaurant... Even the toilets are worth a visit. We were welcomed and served very friendly. We had a delicious soup with lemongrass/coconut and shrimp and a sushi platter for two people, MEGAAAAA WE WILL COME BACK

Service was always nice and friendly. The soup had a pleasant spiciness and was very tasty. The chicken in the teriyaki sauce was well seasoned with a slightly sweet note. The homemade lemonades were exceptionally delicious. Very refreshing. The chicken curry and spring rolls were also very tasty.

We ordered...... Sushi isn't a masterpiece but it's okay. The curries were a total failure, especially the teryaki curry tasted like it came from a ready-made package! Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with freshly cooked curry... "sorry" for the honest feedback!

Mr.Wasabi was recommended to me by a friend. She said it's easy to miss but very tasty. We received great service, the food was wonderfully prepared, very tasty and the shop wasn't overcrowded. Addendum: After my next visit, I notice that the portions have become smaller with the same/more expensive prices, which makes visiting the restaurant less attractive for me.

There‘s a lovely atmosphere at this family- run restaurant. Everyone is treated as special… It‘s. Child- friendly with staff going the extra mile to cater for the little ones. Walked past it several times but never went in until the day that changed everything. My wife and I enjoy eating sushi often. And at the moment we can't find anything better and tasty with a good price-performance ratio than here. The ambience and furnishings invite you to stay. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. All in all 5 stars

Were there for the first time and were actually pretty satisfied. Unfortunately we had to get a few things ourselves, like cutlery, soy sauce and napkins, even though there wasn't that much to do. I think the operation was new. But the food was very tasty. Behind the counter. The service was very friendly.

The restaurant is simple but still nice and cozy. The service is very attentive and friendly. We had 4 different appetizers and sushi as a starter. Everything was very tasty and fresh. The main courses were all different and all tasted very good. All in all, the restaurant is highly recommended.

Not authentic Asian food. Dishes unfortunately too lightly seasoned. Lots of unnecessary decorative vegetables. A broth is used for all soups. Prices very unbalanced in relation to the size of the portion. Once and never again.

Unfortunately you have to give one star for service but it is undeserved. Why? You come into the restaurant in the pouring rain and have an enormous need, the little waitress comes and asks you extremely politely if you can use the toilet?! You are approached and - hold on to yourselves - she says in all seriousness that it costs one euro. Hey that's no help performance. Or is this how you try to generate sales? Well, maybe this customer friendliness is one reason why the shop was absolutely empty except for one table (which was probably family or something).

The restaurant is clean and has a beautiful ambience. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. If you order from home, the food will arrive within 30 minutes, often even faster. Ein asiatisches Fusionrestaurant, spezialisiert auf Sushi. Aber auch andere japanische und asiatische Spezialitäten sind zu empfehlen, wie z.B. Udon Nudeln. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist das Fusion-Kimchi als Vorspeise. Für mich eines der leckersten Kimchi Krefelds.

Ich habe letzte Wochenende mit meinem Freund hier gegessen. Die Gerichte wurden aufmerksamkeitsstark präsentiert und behalten vor allem den typisch asiatischen Geschmack. Sehr lecker.

Sowohl vor Ort, als auch als Bestellung bisher nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Faire Preise für gutes Essen mit einer guten Auswahl.

Little away from the main Rheinstraße city center, but a really good place. Visited the restaurant twice and both times the experience was really good. I really think this place should get more customers compared to some other Asian restaurants you have around. They also play really good English music. Would be going again.

If food adventures were a theme park, Mr. WASABI would be the roller coaster you don't want to miss! Our Saturday midday escapade to this joint was like stepping into a tastefully designed flavor wonderland. The interior is as delightful as a kid's dream candy store, minus the sugar rush. House drinks were like friendly greetings from the menu. "Lemon lemonade, pineapple passion, and Maracuja madness, please!" We'd high-five the mixologist for these concoctions any day, except for Lemon, the "I'm-just-here-to-fill-the-numbers" drink at 5 bucks a pop. The main course was a symphony of crunch and slurp. The duck was so crispy, it should've been called "Quackling." Udon noodles played the part of the velvety-smooth supporting actor. Don't like spicy? Well, the chef's got your back. But if you're more "bring on the fire," he'll happily sprinkle extra chili magic. Ah, the poke bowl – a masterpiece of portion control and fishy diplomacy. Salmon and tuna were the real MVPs here, doing a synchronized swim in a sea of flavors. In a nutshell, Mr. WASABI bags a solid four stars from us. If you're up for culinary adventures that make your taste buds dance, with a touch of flair and a dollop of yum, make a reservation ASAP!

Sehr schöner Laden, total gepflegt und sauber! Das personal war extrem freundlich und das Essen war wirklich sehr sehr lecker! Das Sushi ist frisch, das Mango Curry war ein Traum! Ebenfalls sind die Preise total fair bei der Qualität! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! P.s. unbedingt die hausgemachte Limetten Limonade probieren - ein Traum :)))

Meine Freunde und ich haben bei Mr.Wasabi gefeiert. Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Abend. Die grüne Ambiente ist warm, und gemütlich. Die Speisen sind ausgezeichnet köstliche und engagierter Service hat Verständnis für unsere Bedürfnisse und Wünsche. Empfehlenswert!
