Enttäuschender Service und intransparente Preise ​Ich wollte heute für meine Tochter eine Portion Sushi zum Mitnehmen kaufen. Leider ein sehr unerfreuliches Erlebnis: ​Preis-Aufgedränge: Obwohl auf der Menütafel Gerichte zwischen 5 € und 15 € ausgezeichnet sind, wurde mir sofort die teuerste Option für stolze 35 € angeboten. Erst nach längerem Suchen fand ich eine Portion für 11,50 € (8 Stück). ​Kundenunfreundliche Bedingungen: Als ich diese kleinere Portion mit Karte bezahlen wollte, hieß es plötzlich, Kartenzahlung sei erst ab 35 € möglich – ein Mindestbetrag in dieser Höhe ist absolut nicht mehr zeitgemäß und wurde nirgends transparent kommuniziert. ​Der Service lässt hier stark zu wünschen übrig. Hier werde ich sicher nicht noch einmal hingehen.

Super lecker und super Service. Ich esse mittlerweile nur noch hier Sushi, da es mir hier am besten schmeckt!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und angenehm eingerichtet. Hab random ne Suppe dazu bekommen, die ok war. Das eigentliche Gericht war aber lecker, wenn auch nicht umwerfend, aber schon ziemlich gut. Insgesammt eine Erfahrung, die ich Empfehlen kann.

Hervoragend und köstlich 👌 Der Rosmarin mit Thymian war Treff in meinen Herz ♥️, ganz voll, mit Sushi zusammen 😉 Wir sind vereinbart auf weiteren Treffen für sehr lange, aber ohne Mango 😌 Das liebe ich ganz fein, aber nächstesmal wird's anders herum.. .... ne Überraschung vieleicht für immer, wenn ich mich nicht so schäme allein was neues zu probieren, was ich fast gar nicht kenne, und hab Angst das zu verlieren für ewig, denn das wäre Ungesund für mein Magen und die Vertraulichkeich geht langsam tief, in mich für Auferstand beim Drachenjahr.. Dies ist meine Zeit, zeigen, wer ich bin in jeder Herzschlag mit Japan und ne Sakurablütte, die ich am meist liebe 🌸🌸🌹, denn Rose hat nie gereicht für mein Geist, aber Seele freut sich von jede Blume und Baum. Der nächsten Jahr wird vieleicht Himmlisch, oder Höllisch, wenn ich mein Seele-Bruder nicht schnell finde beim Saké oder guten Essen in Roma. Also noch mal Danke für den Genuss, der ich nie im Leben vergess ☺️ Viel Erfolg und weiter so 🌟

Man denkt es ist ein Imbiss aber weit gefehlt. Echt super leckeres Essen zu echt fairen Preisen. Voll zu empfehlen. Sicherheitshalber vorbestellen, ist sehr klein.

Das Essen hier ist super lecker, aber der Service braucht eine Ewigkeit bis man das bekommt was man bestellt hat.

Ich komme hier schon seit einigen Jahren hin- sehr gutes Essen und Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis- der Service ist immer gut und ich komme sehr regelmäßig her für eine super leckere Pho und Sushi o.ä:) Schmeckt mir nach einigen Test auf der Karli mit ähnlichen Angeboten definitiv am besten!

Das Essen war köstlich und sehr hübsch/kreativ angerichtet. Super nettes Personal. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hingehen :)

Sehr höflich. Eines der schönsten Restaurants, die ich als Expat in Deutschland erlebt habe. Die Toiletten sind so sauber, dass andere Betriebe eigentlich kommen und eine Lektion in Sachen Zivilisation lernen sollten.

Alles war fantastisch! Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen (Suppen, Ramen usw.) sind sehr groß, der Service war sehr schnell, maximal 10 Minuten, und wir haben unsere Bestellungen erhalten, und um 14:30 Uhr sind hier fast keine Leute, was super ist!

There were two of us, but unfortunately, a change of waiters disrupted the service chain, and we were still served by the young woman who gave me poor advice. Since we also work in the restaurant industry, we found this very disappointing.

I came here spontaneously with friends and we were surprisingly impressed. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. I highly recommend the Mr. Thong Ramen. The staff are friendly and attentive. I give it a thumbs up.

We had been looking for a restaurant with delicious sushi for a long time. We chose this one and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming; we felt right at home. Simply the best sushi here! We've gotten into the habit of ordering sushi elsewhere—it doesn't get any better than this.

It's quite nice here. There's only one restroom for both sexes. That's a bit of a shame.

The ambience is plain and simple. You sit a little too high on the window sills. But what is important is the service and the taste of the food. Everything arrived in a reasonable time, tasted very good and was well presented too. We would love to come back.

Location is quite nice. Spacious outdoor area. The inside is a bit tight. Friendly staff and quick service. Food is quite extensive when it comes to the selection. Both starters and main courses. From sushi to ramen to rice/noodle dishes. Requests are taken into account. Asian beer is also offered.

The staff was friendly and fast. Wakame was salad excellent. Lemonade and sushi was not good. Sushi tasted like fish and lemonade was made with white powder.

Just been there the other day. Small, fine shop on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. For a little over the average price you can get very good sushi there. You definitely have to book in advance - the store was always filled to the point of vomiting with people when I visited, so make sure you reserve in advance! The service was very friendly and overall the store leaves a more than very good impression. Therefore only recommended.

There were two of us here yesterday and we had a selection of sushi and a duck dish with rice, vegetables and coconut sauce. What can I say.... In our eyes it's all a complete hit! We would fully recommend Mr Thong!

As always, the sushi is very high quality. Reservations are definitely recommended, as there are limited seats available inside, especially during the colder months.

The server was super nice, and it wasn't fake. The homemade iced tea was delicious, the soup was equally delicious, and the main course was equally delicious. Everything tasted very fresh and homemade. This was our second time at the restaurant, and the food was once again delicious and the staff incredibly friendly.

Unfortunately, something was missing from my "take-home" order, or it was simply left out because it didn't fit in the box. Too bad, that was the first and last time I ordered.

The ambiance is functional, pleasant, and clean. The restaurant was busy. Luckily, we made a reservation by phone. We had soup and sushi. Both were delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented.

Excellent selection of dishes. From ramen to sushi to Asian bistro, everything is available. I ordered the "Mr. Thong Menu" for one person, the sushi selection was predetermined, but very tasty. The soup beforehand was also perfect in size and tasted impeccable. There is also a small selection of lunch specials that are very affordable. Definitely a recommendation for Asian food on the Karli!

The food has been really great since it opened with a good price-performance ratio. However, the kindergarten with the cash is getting on my nerves. Even at €31 you will still be insulted in front of other customers as “Aslok with card” if you pay with EC. If you don't have cash for less than €30, you have to have it written to you - it's too much of a hassle to always have money ready or get it for a quick lunch down the street. I enjoyed being a regular customer until a year ago. Due to repeated insults - also because people don't come by as often anymore - I prefer to go somewhere else now. The fact that my circle of friends was then asked to give out my cell phone number via Facebook was not only extremely unpleasant but also too much. Then it's better to be a little more expensive, further away, but friendly. What a shame, Mr. Tran!

This was our first time at Mr. Thong's and we liked it. We sat outside, which was a bit noisy due to the main street, but still okay. The service was nice, friendly and quick and the food (crispy duck with fried rice, spring rolls and sushi) tasted very good. I wasn't in the restaurant myself and can't say anything about it, but I would come back. What I liked best were the two pages with the illustrated sushi rolls.

A good walk-in place, almost all the time with full seating of guests and reservations, good service from waiters, chefs cook quickly and deliciously, a wide range of dishes, delicious sushi (currently, this restaurant has the most delicious sushi I have eaten in the city)

I don't recommend this place. Opening the kettle, I found a tea bag for which I paid 4.50 euros. The portions are small, the prices are high, and the sushi itself is not very tasty.

Price/performance unbeatable. I had chicken mango and summer rolls with shrimp. It was super tasty and the price was completely justified. The ambience is ok and the service is great. Very nice polite service.

Unfortunately I can't say anything good about the ramen. The broth wasn't homemade and the ramen noodles were very artificial and not tasty. More effort could have been put into the additions. The Bun Thang, on the other hand, was very aromatic and delicious. Much more recommended.

We ordered ramen with beef. The meat and eggs are very tasty, but the broth and noodles themselves smell like dirty rags. It’s a shame, because it came out to 12€, and I didn’t even finish it.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for years. The food is really excellent and the price-performance ratio is right. Unfortunately the service has been neglected for some time. Unfortunately, long waiting times without announcement or interim information are normal. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the restaurant!

My husband and I wanted to eat something before going to a concert and spontaneously stopped here. The restaurant is small but nice and has a very nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and our waitress also gave us good recommendations. The food and drinks came quickly and were really tasty. We felt completely at home and will definitely come back when we are in the area again.
