My new favorite Thai food spot. It's like eating there; they prepare everything fresh at the moment. The mittagsessen offerings are the best. I loved it!

Small and at first glance inconspicuous, but really good! We tried the lunch menu and were impressed. They offer a variety of lunch specials at fair prices, and the dishes are delicious and freshly prepared. You can sit outside at two small tables—perfect if you want to enjoy your meal right there. Some dishes are delicious and relatively affordable by Hamburg standards. However, I definitely recommend choosing the house specialties – the tempeh dishes are delicious. Standard dishes like the fried rice or the flat rice noodle soup, on the other hand, I can't recommend at all. Both taste completely bland, unseasoned, and not worth the price: The fried rice with chicken had exactly three small pieces of chicken in it, and I had to add tons of hot sauce and soy sauce at home to make it taste good at all. Cash only. Apparently, there's only one person working there at a time (it's only a small shop, after all), but they're quite unfriendly and taciturn, which I find very unfortunate. I don't expect excessive friendliness, but as a customer, I don't want to feel like I'm being annoying because I want to order something?! I've had the situation several times now where I said a friendly "Hello" upon walking in, and the response was seriously just a loud "Wait!" That's really next level unfriendly, and I don't feel welcome at all. I only go to this snack bar when everything else is closed. Such a shame!

A small bistro where everything is freshly prepared. You don't necessarily sit nicely. Food was ok, everything was fresh.

A tiny snack bar on Wohlwillstraße, almost on the corner of Paulinenplatz. There are a few tables outside where you can quickly get into conversation. It takes a while before you can order, there is only one woman working there, the selection is also very good for vegetarians. Prices are very fair, you can get a lunch for €7.50, but there is only a very limited selection of veggies here. The food is quite spicy, fresh, authentic and the portions are just the right size. A nice little alternative in the neighborhood, you just shouldn't expect any service: neither a smile nor card payment are included in the concept.

Small but cozy, very nice atmosphere and the lady who serves is very friendly. And the food is EXPECTACULAR, a delight. I would return and recommend it.

This is a Thai restaurant located in an alley. The store is small and there are not many seats inside. There are some seats outside and some old photos on the wall. They should have been taken by the proprietress when she used to set up a stall outside. There is only one boss lady preparing meals, so you may have to wait if there are many people, and you can communicate in simple English. In addition to the meals on the general menu, there are also daily lunch specials to choose from. There are different dishes every day, and each portion only costs 7.5 euros. There are also two duck curry specials, each portion only costs 7.9 euros. Very affordable. Due to the shortage of manpower, when the meal is ready, the lady boss will loudly say the name of the meal and ask the guests to come and pick up the meal. After finishing the meal, please help to take the plate to the dining area inside. The food does not taste bad because it is cheap, but it is delicious because it is freshly prepared. There are no toilets in the restaurant, and there is no unlimited internet. Please note that you can only pay in cash. If you want a cheap and delicious fast food, you must try it.

A large and delicious portion of rice with vegetables and chicken for a bargain price of €8.50. The food is prepared quickly, within 5 minutes. You can eat on site or take away. The only negative: Payment is only in cash!

This is a secret place that it is better not to tell anyone about, but to keep as your personal discovery. Duck with mango in the daily offer is the best choice

Sehr leckeres Essen. Eine onewomanshow! Spartanisch eingerichtet, aber das essen schmeckt sehr gut!

Alle Gerichte werden live und frisch zubereitet. Das Pad Thai war super lecker. An Erdnüssen und Fleisch wurde nicht gespart! Auch war es problemlos möglich keine Garnelen im Gericht zu haben und stattdessen Hähnchenfleisch. Ferner waren die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Super lecker , wir kommen wieder!

Super lecker und Authentisch. Besonders die liebe Köchin mit der nicen Thai-Kochmütze. Das macht das ganze noch Authentischer.

Saulecker. Hier ist das Kochen echtes Handwerk. Die Preise sind dafür auch noch echt angenehm. Nur zu empfehlen.

What a bar! We were looking for another bar and stumbled across the Gun Club. What a brilliant accident! The bar was cosy and warm when we walked in, and immediately the tunes playing were excellent. The bar staff were really friendly and welcomed us into their little community. They listened with patience to our nonsense talk and singing all night! We loved the guys playing the music, they certainly know their stuff! The music moved from old skool punk to classic rock to northern soul and back again. I am not convinced they work there, they are just two mates playing tunes they like for the benefit of others!! We cannot recommend the gun club enough. You made an old married couple from belfast very happy. Definitely get along to the gun club.

The food is on point here. They always pay attention to the extra requests. You can tell the women there are very intelligent. And they cook the way moms do. Very homey and HUGE portions.

Das Essen ist ok und die Preise auch aber zu lange Wartezeit, wenn nur drei für Gäste vor einem bestellt haben. Eine Person schmeißt den ganz laden, ist klar das da was auf der Strecke bleibt.

Muita comida boa por um preço justo. Apenas um pouco demorado, mas valeu a pena.

Gute Laune und gutes Essen. Bis eben wusste ich nicht, was Tempeh ist.

Wenn ich das nächste Mal wieder in Hamburg bin, komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder hier her. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und der Preis ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Essen ist sehr schnell zubereitet und man kann sogar dabei zusehen. Das Personal bietet die gewohnte Thai Freundlichkeit. Einen Kritikpunkt gibt es allerdings: Eine Zahlung mit Karte ist nicht möglich. Das ist mir allerdings keinen Stern Abzug wert.

Super lecker, preiswert, Rotes Thai Curry ist zu empfehlen! Update: Leider hat die Qualität nach Besitzerwechsel stark nachgelassen. Das Einzige was mehr geworden ist ist der Preis (satte 2€ Aufschlag!)

Sehr lecker (hatte rotes Curry mit Tofu), die Schärfe war nicht zuviel. Es ging schnell und Außengastro derzeit geöffnet.

Este bar tiene una verdadera calle Pauli. Es un lugar más pequeño con un gran ambiente. Mucha gente de allí, no es el típico lugar turístico. Si quieres ver cómo la gente pasar el rato y fiesta, este sería un buen lugar para visitar.

Hammer Schuppen! Wer den Indiepunk mag und dazu noch echt nettes Publikum dazu, widerwinken des netten "Personals"...Ich kann nur schwärmen! Wollten noch in andere Clubs gehn, während unserem Wochenendausflugs, aber sind begeistert hängen geblieben. Wir kommen wieder! Spitzen DJ!!!! Wir kommen ausm Schwarzwald und deshalb unser Fazit: Hamburg so weit weg! Merci!

Immer wieder ein Erlebnis die Treppen in diesen Laden runterzukommen. Geile Musik, nette Leute aus der Gegend und korrekte Drinks sorgen für kurzweilige Aufenthalte. Für alle die sagen: "mit nur einem Messer im Rücken, gehe ich noch lange nicht nach Hause" ein absolutes MUST. Auch in der aktuellen Lage wieder einen Besuch Wert.

The Gun Club in St. Pauli is a place for locals as well as tourists. The feeling to it is very calm and cosy. The bar is open every day and opens at 21.00 (9 pm) and closes 04.00 (4 am) on weekdays and 07.00 (7 am) on weekends. The bar has a good selection of liquors and the staff is super friendly. The prices are very reasonable. I like the music which is rock and roll and hard rock. I think this place is well worth a visit and that it will add positively to your night out in Hamburg. I will surely be back.
