Sehr modernes und leckeres Restaurant, leider wurden wir nicht bedient und saßen ziemlich auf dem Trockenen, obwohl fast nichts los war. Erschien fast so als warte man ab 20 Uhr auf Feierabend, das war ziemlich schade. Das Essen war aber lecker und zumindest der Kellner, der das Essen brachte, sehr nett.

Früher war es besser Restaurant ist teilweise nicht sehr voll. Zu viert im Service und trotzdem dauert alles ewig. Früher gab es tolle Beilagensalate, jetzt noch traurigen Eisbergsalat. Die Gerichte sind aber teilweise um 2 bis 4 Euro teurer geworden trotz Steuersenkungen für die Gastro. Früher gab es immer Glückskekse nach dem Essen. Jetzt nicht mehr... Schade, wir werden uns ein anderes Stammlokal suchen

Ich bin begeistert von dem Essen!! Das Fleisch, der Fisch das Gemüse, egal ob Warmgericht oder Sushi - super Qualität und elegant angerichtet. Meine Empfehlung für jeden der in Göttingen speisen will. :)

Gestern war ich zum ersten Mal bei môt. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein vietnamesische Restaurant, wo mehrere asiatische Spezialitäten angeboten werden. Als Vorspeise hatte ich dir Rinderstreifen mit Terijaki Sauce und als Hauptspeise Funky Beef. Beides war solide und auch lecker. Man merkte allerdings das die Qualität nicht die allerbeste war. Dennoch würde ich das Restaurant empfehlen, da der Service und das Ambiente sehr gut waren. Außerdem hatten sie einen Service Roboter.

Zwischenstop auf A7 Durchreise. Großzügig und modern. Auffallend positive Stimmung beim Personal. Ratzfatz stand das leckere Essen auf dem Tisch. Empfehlung

Sehr leckeres Sushi und Edamame. Sommerrollen gut, etwas mehr Soße wäre toll gewesen. Da wir togo bestellt haben konnten wir leider keine Soße nachbestellen. Absolute Empfehlung 👍🏻

Wir waren mit mehreren Freundinnen in diesem Restaurant und waren leider sehr enttäuscht vom Service. Zuerst mussten wir lange warten, bis unsere Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Das Essen kam dann sehr unterschiedlich: Eine Person bekam ihr Gericht zuerst, zwei andere etwa 15–20 Minuten später. Mein Essen kam erst nach Nachfrage – ungefähr eine Stunde nach der Bestellung. Auch das benutzte Geschirr wurde lange nicht abgeräumt, sodass wir einen Teil selbst auf den Nachbartisch gestellt haben. Insgesamt wirkte der Service leider sehr unorganisiert.

Die Cocktail- und Sushi-Donuts waren sehr lecker. Das Bao war mir etwas zu trocken, es hätte mehr Soße vertragen können.

Bereits 3x dort gewesen. Jedesmal top zufrieden. Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeisen bisher alle sehr gut und lecker. Hauptsächlich Sushi gegessen. Zuletzt mit einer Gruppe von 8 Personen dort gewesen. Kaum Wartezeiten, schneller Service, gute Preise, gute Qualität. Alle waren sehr zufrieden. Gute Lage, wenn man von auswärts über die A7 kommt. Gerne wieder.

Ich finde es sehr lecker und empfehlenswert ☺️ am liebsten esse ich mango Tango ! Der Service ist sehr nett und die Preise sind in Ordnung. Aus meiner Sicht wird schnell serviert.

I actually just wanted to pick up a roll from the bakery today and happened upon this restaurant. I had a delicious lunch there, the M8 menu. It was extremely tasty and the prices are reasonable, especially for the good taste. Definitely recommended. Modern, well-maintained, and everything is nice and tidy.

We've been here several times and have never been disappointed. Parking is available right in front of the restaurant, which is very convenient. The ambiance is modern and friendly, especially nice in the summer when the large windows are opened. The menu isn't overly extensive, but offers a good selection, and the portions are absolutely sufficient. Everything seems freshly prepared, and the restaurant also makes a very well-kept impression. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more pleasant. When it's busy, you sometimes have to wait a bit longer for your food.

We had a very good meal there. The service was good. We'll be back.

August 10, 2025 Unfortunately, I have to revise my review from April 9. The menu seems to have changed, and the duck from picture 1 is unfortunately missing. Now, unfortunately, the only thing left is the Barbary duck breast from picture 3, which, in my opinion, has little to do with Asian food and also tasted rather dry and uninteresting. We've now crossed the restaurant off our list. Today's visit was rather disappointing. April 9, 2025 We went there for lunch. The lunch menu offers a good selection at fair prices. Both dishes were very tasty. You can feel at home here both inside and outside. The service was very friendly throughout 👍🏻

Super quality, delicious high-quality food

Super delicious and super friendly staff. We had four types of sushi and loved it. Unfortunately, the staff were difficult to understand, and the soy sauce was a bit too salty for us. But we didn't come here to chat or for the soy sauce. The prices are completely justified, too. We'll be back!

Super delicious food at fair prices!

My husband and I were very disappointed with this restaurant. First, we had to wait almost 50 minutes just to get our main courses. We ordered the Beef Tataki (10 euros) as an appetizer, but it really wasn't good. The sauce was far too sweet and didn't complement the meat at all, which was overcooked and stringy. But we were most disappointed by the main courses. The duck (20 euros) was very dry, which is really surprising for such a naturally fatty meat, and again, it was simply smothered in the same unpleasantly sweet sauce, as if no effort had been put into it. The Salmon Lover Set (26 euros) per person was also weak. The fish was of poor quality, the rolls fell apart, the flavor was mediocre, and the presentation was disappointing. For this price, we expected much more. The atmosphere also left a lot to be desired. The restaurant allows large dogs inside, and unfortunately, there was a distinct odor that spoiled the flavor and enjoyment of the food. Combined with the noise of barking dogs and crying children, the atmosphere was anything but relaxing. Only after they had left did we hear the background music—which, however, also didn't fit the ambiance. The service was inattentive. It was really difficult to reach the staff, even after several attempts. This only made the long wait even more frustrating. The only things we liked were the decor, the rice, and the beer. Overall, we left very disappointed and can't understand why this place has so many positive reviews. It seems like the restaurant is desperately trying to portray itself as something much more fancy and upscale than it actually is. To us, it's just another overpriced and mediocre restaurant.

Everything great. For me personally the best sushi in Göttingen. Since I became acquainted with the restaurant, I have only eaten there. I haven't tried hot dishes yet.

We visited friends in Göttingen. Very friendly staff greeted us and showed us our seats. The order was taken quickly. In no time everyone had their drinks. The food was also served quickly and any questions were answered competently. The food was plentiful, very tasty and lovingly prepared. The toilets are very clean. We were all happy that we were allowed to be guests.

Disappointing and overrated! Doesn't stand out from the other Asian restaurants. Pho pretty tasteless, duck not crispy and musty. The sushi was good. No website to check the menu...if you want that you are forced to log in to Facebook...

The two of us ate at Mot in the evening and the starters (summer rolls and kimchi) were really tasty and the sushi was also a 10/10.

We were guests at Môt for the first time today, we didn't make a reservation, but we were still able to get a nice table. Unfortunately, the service paid us little attention. There were no particularly friendly faces, so in order to order drinks again we had to take action ourselves and ask at the counter. The food was quite good, maybe we were just unlucky because based on the reviews we expected more. Too bad...

A very nice Asian restaurant located on the outskirts of Göttingen. Highly recommended are the sushi, the gyoza (fried dumplings) and the mochi ice cream. My husband had the chicken curry, which was delicious and the meat was very tender, only the vegetables tasted a bit bland/overcooked.

Outstanding! We were here spontaneously for lunch today, 2 adults and 2 small children. We were immediately greeted warmly and shown to a free table. We ordered about 8 dishes across the menu and everything was really excellent. No matter whether we are talking about the taste, the presentation, the ambience or the service! Just great. They even made sure to serve the hot sauce separately with the prawns without us saying anything (because of the children). Simply great. Super friendly and fast service. We can highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves Asian cuisine. We'll definitely be back. Keep it up! Thank you

From my current perspective, this is currently the best Asian food in Göttingen. All dishes are very tasty and also very good to eat even in the spicy version. A good place for sushi and even without it there is still a good selection. The furnishings are very stylish and modern. There are plenty of places. During the week you can also get a place without a reservation. The service was friendly and always very quick. So quickly that it was already cleared away even though the second person was still eating.

OMG, such a great place! I was so surprised finding this gem in Göttingen. I'd completely come back. Interior is superb, staff very nice, food great - and we had a selection of it: cool sushi donuts, awesome spring rolls, superb prawn dumpling, great chicken skewers, nice beef tataki althout a bit too stiff. I highly recommend visiting.

For me the best Asian in all of Göttingen! With a new menu for 2 months now, sushi platters have finally found their way in - and Japanese ramen is also new! And where you might be suspicious of the wild mix (Vietnamese, Japanese and Thai specialties) elsewhere, here you simply have to praise: the kitchen knows its craft! 10/10 for taste no matter what I tried. It almost hurts to recommend the restaurant because more people come - but the people of Môt simply deserve it! 💯

Môt is one of my favorite Asian restaurants. It is easily accessible, parking spaces right in front of the door! The lunch menu is simply great in terms of price and the food tastes really excellent! As a vegetarian you can easily get your money's worth and the staff is also super friendly 👍 we like to come regularly.

Today was my first visit here. We had reserved in advance and were greeted very friendly. The food came really quickly. We didn't have to wait long. The staff is really extremely friendly and attentive. The food was good. I'll definitely come back there again. Some vegetarian dishes that really appealed to me still want to be tried :) There is also a small outdoor area. Price-performance is completely okay for the current gastronomic situation. We had a nice relaxing evening :)

5 stars for the food and the courteous staff. We ordered sushi and then took it with us - it was packed very flavorfully and decorated even in the packaging and served with love. In addition, we have rarely been served so kindly in a restaurant. The only thing worth considering is a small bowl or something similar for the soy sauce when you're on the go or to take with you, as it unfortunately runs out of the packaging😃

We love this restaurant! Lunch or evening, with or without children, as a couple or with friends - we have always felt comfortable and the food is great! We would love to come back soon.

Excellent food! Very tasty homemade lemonades. Very friendly staff and nice restaurant. If you sit outside you can notice some of the passing traffic. But it's bearable.

This is a good place to have an Asian-style dinner. Service was good, selection also OK. The courses we ate were alright but not particularly remarkable. The avocado yoghurt drink was a good idea but maybe a bit more avocado would make it more tasty. The seafood ramen was also good, just not outstanding. I can recommend the place for a pleasant evening.

This is an Asian restaurant, but one with exclusively Japanese dishes - so very special and certainly unexpected for some! But the place was very well attended and obviously very popular! Parking in front of the restaurant!

We have now eaten at this restaurant three times. The range of Asian fusion cuisine is extensive and the dishes, *except* those with raw fish, have been delicious and recommended. Unfortunately, on two of the three visits, the salmon and tuna served in our sushi were anything but fresh. Not spoiled yet, but clearly just short of what is acceptable and therefore not good in taste, slightly dry and gray in color and without shine. In addition, on the last visit some rolls were not prepared as described on the map and as it was before (if you compare photos of the sushi here on Maps). E.g. Instead of three types of caviar, a BigRoll was only served with blackened lumpfish roe and the spring onions were completely missing. Overall, I think it's a shame, because otherwise I would definitely have come here very often. Unfortunately not anymore for now.

Fine restaurant with an extensive selection of delicious dishes. Friendly service and pleasant & unobtrusive background music. Perfect for a cozy evening! The only point of criticism: the menu can only be viewed online via Facebook; Each page must also be clicked on individually. A PDF file to download would be a great thing!

One thing in advance. For me as an electric car driver, it was a very pleasant surprise that the restaurant has two wallboxes for customers and I was able to charge my car for free. Stylish and modern restaurant with plenty of seating and very friendly service. I would like to visit again. The food was good and the portions were rather large. I wasn't entirely happy with my dish (Pho Xao) as I thought it could have been a bit more seasoned and there were no sauces or spices at the tables to add your own seasoning. However, I didn't ask about it either. I would like to come back again and also try the extensive sushi menu.

Unfortunately, a sushi platter “on offer” for 2 people is just over €60😵‍💫
