Chinarestaurant Pagoda in Göttingen

Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder gerne hierher und fühlen uns jedes Mal herzlich willkommen. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam und auch die Chefin ist immer sehr zuvorkommend und sorgt dafür, dass man sich wohlfühlt. Das Buffet ist super abwechslungsreich, frisch und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Auch das Dessert ist vielfältig und wirklich lecker. Hier gibt es absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Ich komme regelmäßig mit meiner Freundin für einen Mädelsabend hierher und wir genießen jeden Besuch. Wir können dieses Restaurant von Herzen weiterempfehlen und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!

Super leckeres chinesisch Buffet, mit grosser Salatauswahl, Dessert mit Schokobrunnen (weiss und dunkel), Sushiband, Grill und "normalem Zeug". Die Leute sind immer herzlich und zuvorkommend. Allerdings sollte man meistens reservieren, da es echt voll ist. Parkplätze gibt es übrigens direkt vor Ort.

Super laden mit sehr viel Auswahl vom Buffet, Sogar die in der Niederlande genannten Bamipangang Soße, jedenfalls sehr ähnlich, Orginal ist in der Soße gebratene Rindfleisch Streifen und Atjar Tjampoer Sehr lecker

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und die Atmosphäre ist etwas Besonderes – durch das Buffet fühlt man sich fast wie in einem Hotel. Die Auswahl ist groß und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Besonders das Sushi hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Sauberkeit der Toiletten, hier könnte definitiv noch mehr darauf geachtet werden, da diese nicht besonders sauber waren. Insgesamt aber ein sehr gutes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen und einer schönen Atmosphäre.

Einfach eine Asiatische Perle in Göttingen!!

Schönes Restaurant, leckeres chinesisches Essen, sehr viel Auswahl an den Theken, perfekt für Liebhaber von Asiatischem Essen. Sogar Veganer und Vegetarier werden mit gutem Essen versorgt. Ja, mehr kann man dazu nicht sagen, weil alles gut ist und so. Kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.

Einfach nur wooow, mega viel auswahl vorhanden. Sollte was leer gehen wird sehr zügig nachgefüllt. Sehr guter service.

Guter Service... Leckeres Essen... Was will man mehr?!

Aktualisierung: gestern wie sooft Essen von der Mittagskarte bestellt, abgeholt und "Zuhause" gegessen. Die Auswahl wie immer: Gebratener Reis, Chop Suey mit Huhn, gebratene Ente. Fast alles ohne Glutamat bestellt: wie immer! Gestern Enttäuschung auf voller Linie! Egal welches Gericht; fast kein Geschmack... Bestelltes Huhn war dann doch Schwein 😔, die konsestens vom Essen eher "verkocht" (schmierig). Die Gerichte sind fast immer etwas variiert, aber diesmal... Das Essen mit heller Soße, sonst immer dunkel. Da trauen wir uns fast nicht ein weiteres Mal zu bestellen. 🙄 Positiv war: nettes Telefonat, nette Mitarbeiter! Ein richtiger Chinese... Breiter ebenerdiger Eingang... Großzügig gestalteter Laden... Behinderten WC... Super Essen... Wahnsinnig viel Auswahl... Das Mittagsmenü ist sehr zu empfehlen... Leider ist die Parksituation oft grenzwertig... Leider kein Behindertenparkplatz... Sehr gern immer mal wieder...

Sehr sehr freundliches Personal. Selbst wenn es wirklich voll ist, kümmert sich immer jemand um deine Getränkewünsche und du musst nicht lange darauf warten. Bisher haben wir auch egal wie voll es war, immer einen Platz bekommen auch ohne Reservierung, kommt man natürlich mit mehr als 3-4 Personen würde ich schon raten vorher einmal anzurufen. Das Buffet essen ist einfach ein Traum, es ist für jeden was dabei. Ich empfehle die Nuss Soße:) Egal ob groß oder klein, hier werden wirklich alle satt.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Besuch im Pagoda. Die Auswahl am Buffet ist beeindruckend groß und alles wirkt sehr ansprechend präsentiert. Besonders die knusprigen Tintenfischringe haben uns überzeugt. Es ist schön, dass man so viele verschiedene Dinge probieren kann. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Als Chinesin, die seit zwei Jahren in Düsseldorf lebt, habe ich schon in vielen chinesischen Buffets gegessen, darunter auch in einigen bekannten. Aber dieses hier ist wirklich authentisch. Als jemand aus der Inneren Mongolei kann ich sagen: Hier habe ich das authentischste Lamm und Rindfleisch in Deutschland gegessen. Auch der geschmorte Schweinebraten und der gebratene Reis sind sehr authentisch, und die Auswahl an Desserts und anderen Gerichten ist riesig. Die Einrichtung ist sowohl innen als auch außen wunderschön. Verglichen mit Restaurants in China wirkt es eher wie ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel aus den 2000er-Jahren. Die Fleischqualität ist hervorragend. Die Kellner sind außerdem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn ich die Möglichkeit hätte, würde ich wahrscheinlich jedes Wochenende hier essen!

Absolut geiles Buffet. Tolles Ambiente. Super freundliches Personal. Die Tellersituation zu Beginn war etwas duerftig. Die Tellersituation ist jetzt sehr gut. Die Preisgestaltung sollte man mal überdenken 2 x Buffet und 2 Coke 65 Euro finde ich heftig.

Das Personal war wunderbar und kümmerte sich aufmerksam um das Wohlbefinden der Gäste. Das Essen war köstlich, und die Idee des All-you-can-eat-Buffets war fantastisch.

Alles war sehr gut und die Angestellten waren freundlich. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Die Auswahl ist riesig, also es gibt für jede Altersgruppe was. Ein Menü zum verlieben, und für sein Geld bekommt man viel Leistung. Grosser Parkplatz auch für Busse. 😍🤘

Ich war schon bei vielen Chinarestaurants Buffet Essen. Aber so eine Auswahl mit Sushi, Teppanyaki und chinesischen Speisen hatte ich bis dato noch nicht. Es hat uns mal wieder sehr gefallen alles war sehr gut vom Essen und Trinken nur was ich nicht verstehe istwarum schmeißen manche Menschen in den kleinen See von den Fischen ihren Zigaretten Müll rein oder Bonbonpapier oder Geld in den See die armen Tiere mal mitdenken

Wer auf exotische Fleischsorten mag ist hier richtig. Känguru und Strauß stehen auf Liste der frisch auswählbaren Sorten (viele weitere, Rind, Lamm, Huhn etc.). Natürlich viele frische Fischsorten, die man sich selbst zusammenstellen kann, Soße und oder Würze, ebenso verschiedene Gemüse Sorten, die dann frisch zubereitet werden. Anschließend wird es zum Tisch gebracht. Reichhaltige Auswahl an Gerichten, die bereits fertig zubereitet sind. Da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Unfassbarere Auswahl an Nachspeisen, inkl. Schoko rinnen. Wer allerdings ein nettes schönes und ruhiges Restaurant sucht, um mit den liebsten ein schönes ggf. Romantisches Ambiente sucht, ist hier falsch. Die Atmosphäre gleicht eher einer Studenten Mensa. Wenn das nicht stört, kann hier sehr lecker essen! Wir kommen wieder!

Hallo war jetzt schon einige Male im Chinarestaurant Pagoda.. Bin sehr zufrieden. Das Buffet ist sehr reichhaltig und schmeckt voll lecker alles. Super Personal und total freundlich und das Ambiente ist super schön. Insgesamt alles super. Das Mittagsbuffet für 18,90 Euro ist vollkommen okay. Komme gerne wieder

Wir besuchen das Restaurant Pagoda in Göttingen mit der Familie nicht zum ersten Mal. Wie immer war alles sehr lecker und von hoher Qualität. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr freundlich und angenehm, sodass man sich jedes Mal wohlfühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es ist meine Kommunion, Weil Ich das einer Mitarbeiterin gesagt habe. Hat sie ein Mann geholt der auch Bei Pagoda Arbeitet und ich habe eine kleine süße Box bekommen wo wenn ich es geöffnet habe, ein Kleiner Bubble tea Cup. Er IST sehr süß mit einer Katze die Lucky Heißt. und das Essen war auch sehr gut. Eine Mitarbeiterin hat mir geholfen Mayo und Ketchup zu finden, weil ich nicht wusste wo es ist. Sushi bei dem Band war sehr lecker. Hab mir so 5 Stück genommen. Konnte aber dann halbe nicht mehr tragen. Eine Mitarbeiterin hat mir wieder geholfen. Es war die gleiche Mitarbeiterin die den Cup für mich vorbereitet hat mit dem Mann und gebracht hat. Ihr habt sehr viel Optionen beim Essen. Habe auch halb alles aufgegessen, SORRY ES WAR EINFACH SO LECKER! Auf jeden Fall Pagoda ist das Beste. Ich Empfehle Leute da hin zu gehen. Und wir werden zu meinem Geburtstag auch noch mal kommen. Wir waren gestern Abend das erste mal dort und haben ohne Reservierung problemlos einen Platz bekommen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und man hat uns extra einen "ruhigen " Platz gesucht da wir mit Baby da waren. Wir wurden auch zwischendurch immer wieder gefragt ob alles gut sei...wirklich ein super Service den man echt hervorheben kann. Und ja dann das Buffet einfach überwältigend super , solch eine riesen Auswahl und das zu einer super Qualität. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Einfach nur wow

Aromen, Farben, Vielfalt … man weiß gar nicht, was man probieren und was man lieber stehen lassen soll. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und arbeiteten unermüdlich. Ihr Lächeln und der Service waren einfach unglaublich. Sie gingen von Tisch zu Tisch und unterhielten sich mit jedem Gast – diskret, aber professionell und mit tadellosem Benehmen. Die Speisen, Salate und Desserts waren geschmacklich fantastisch und werden mir unvergesslich bleiben. Mein schönstes kulinarisches Erlebnis überhaupt!

Beim ersten Mal war ich begeistert, die Auswahl an Gerichten war riesig, es hat mir wirklich gut gefallen. Beim zweiten Besuch war das Essen jedoch fettig und ölig, die Bananen und das Obst waren welk. Wir dachten, wir hätten vielleicht einfach einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Beim dritten Mal waren wir dann aber völlig enttäuscht. Das Fleisch in süß-saurer Soße schmeckte ganz anders als beim ersten Mal, alles schwamm in irgendeiner Art von Fett. Sehr enttäuschend.

We ate there on December 25, 2025. The prices were increased by €3 per person. My 11-year-old daughter was with us. From age 11, you have to pay full price, which meant that with the price increase, we had to pay €31.90 for an 11-year-old girl! Seriously? What does an 11-year-old even eat these days? If children up to 15 years old paid €15, that would be more than enough! €31.90 for what felt like 8 fries and 9 nuggets! That was definitely our last visit to Pagoda!! We've crossed Pagoda off our list!

This was my second time eating here, and I'm absolutely thrilled again. The buffet selection is simply amazing! Everything tastes fantastic! Everything is replenished promptly, and it's all incredibly fresh and delicious. Even when it's busy, the grill station is very fast and serves the food right at your table. The dessert buffet is also incredibly diverse. From fresh fruit to a chocolate fountain, ice cream, etc.—everything your heart desires! It's also a huge hit with kids, featuring a wide variety of sweets. The service is very attentive and always friendly. I'll definitely be back to eat there again anytime!

The only drawback is that it's difficult to find a parking space on busy days. Otherwise, the buffet is very large, always fresh, and the staff is absolutely top-notch.

Unfortunately, the dishes and cutlery were filthy, as were the tables, which I found very unhygienic. While the buffet was large, much of it consisted of frozen food. The only thing we liked were the fish dishes that could be taken to the grill. Everything else was not worth it, and we even had stomach aches afterward.

We were there with four adults and a toddler. We enjoyed the place; the selection was huge, but the buffet was very expensive. Unfortunately, just a few hours after eating, we started experiencing symptoms of food poisoning. This has already lasted for several days and is ruining our Christmas this year. Reading the reviews, we're not the only ones affected. This is unacceptable. As a restaurant, you have a responsibility to operate with impeccable hygiene, not to make people sick.

Very friendly staff, a large buffet, and a very large restaurant, though well divided into smaller sections. If a drink runs out, it's taken care of quickly, used dishes are cleared promptly, and the buffet is constantly replenished.

I love this buffet restaurant! There's always plenty of food, and it's constantly being replenished. Both the lunch and dinner buffets are highly recommended. I usually reserve a table, but you can easily walk in without one.

We are a party of five and ordered five buffet items. We also ordered four drinks. We were forced to order one additional drink. Otherwise, we would have to pay €3, and for nothing! This is absolutely not allowed in Germany! Unfortunately, we will no longer leave a tip for such poor service.

Huge selection, something for almost every taste. Friendly and attentive staff. Very large restaurant; it can get quite noisy during peak hours. Clean and well-maintained. The buffet is quite expensive at €28.90 in the evening (though it includes a sushi conveyor belt). The lunch buffet is fair at €18.90 (without sushi). If you don't mind the sometimes large crowds and the often limited parking, you'll definitely get your money's worth (in my opinion). I would recommend it.

The food isn't the best. The buffet is unbeatable value for money. Drinks are very expensive. It's usually quite crowded.

The rave reviews are no coincidence, especially regarding the "Too Good To Go" service. When there are many leftovers, the owners often give "Too Good To Go" customers extra vegetables and fried food. This not only reduces food waste but also contributes to their excellent reputation. The taste of the dishes is among the best in Göttingen for Chinese cuisine – a successful combination of German influences and typical Chinese seasoning with plenty of oil and sauce. Here, you not only experience a fantastic buffet but also exemplary "Too Good To Go" service.

Diverse food, delicious seafood. Full of appetizers and desserts including ice cream, cakes, candies... unfortunately the sushi is quite bad and the price is a bit high. Only suitable for people who can eat a lot.

Mouse bait boxes are placed under the radiators. So I understand what goes on there when there are no guests or staff.

No chance of getting a parking space and having to reverse out again [since there's no way to turn around] when other cars want to park is more than risky. We probably would have had to wait forever since there were already long queues outside. Thanks, I'd rather eat somewhere else.

We've eaten there twice now, everything went perfectly, a very large and delicious buffet. I can highly recommend it, but it's better to book in advance. The staff is very friendly; you're shown to your table and brought a fresh plate with each new dish. The atmosphere is also lovely; I have nothing bad to say. Thumbs up! I felt I had to write something after 10 months, as it had always been just my wife and I until now. But on October 27th, we arrived with 10 people with a reservation, and I have to reiterate what I've already written: very delicious food and attentive staff. Everything was perfect. The buffet was great, no complaints, it tasted good. Everyone could help themselves to whatever they wanted and as much as they could eat. The selection was huge.

For me personally, this is the best Asian buffet! It's not cheap, but you get a really great selection of dishes, plus running sushi and chefs who prepare fresh food for you. The atmosphere is modern and not cluttered, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It was a great evening! They have their own parking spaces.

An exceptionally good restaurant. The staff are friendly, the decor is beautiful, and the restaurant is very large. The buffet is so extensive that you can't possibly try everything in one visit. There's a huge selection of everything you could possibly want. The quality is very good; it all tasted absolutely wonderful—the meat, the salads, the gummy bear bar, the chocolate fountain—simply fantastic.

Everything was absolutely delicious, the service staff were friendly and fast, the food was excellent, hot, and extremely varied. We've never had such a wide selection at an Asian buffet before.

Everything's great here! Daniel, the boss, walks around to almost every table several times in the evening and chats with the people... I think that's great!

Yesterday, six of us went there for lunch for the buffet. It was very busy. However, we always got all the food we needed; it was regularly replenished. 👍🏼 You don't usually experience this when eating at a buffet. Most of the time, the items (especially the duck) are only sporadically replenished, and you're lucky if you get to the buffet in time, because otherwise, it's immediately empty again. This wasn't the case here. Great! 👍🏼 The buffet itself is also very varied; there's something for everyone! And everything was absolutely delicious! 👍🏼 Keep up the good work! We'd love to come back!

The food itself is delicious, and the selection is huge. Unfortunately, the sushi wasn't well made and fell apart on the plate just by looking at it. The restrooms also have a strange atmosphere.

I found the service very friendly; they asked several times if everything was okay or if I needed anything. The store is clean and tidy, and the food was always refilling, and the selection was very large. And it might just be me, but I didn't like the taste. For example, I had beef with onions in a dark sauce – it was way too salty for me. The sushi wasn't really bad, but a treat is something else entirely. I had beef and lamb chops from the grill – again, the service was friendly and it was worth it, but both were too salty for me.

We'd been traveling for a long time and had children with us! We were actually late, but here we were warmly welcomed and treated with kindness! Thank you so much, it was delicious!

If you're simply looking for mass-produced, ready-made food, this is the place for you. However, for me, the quality and price don't match up. The atmosphere is also very loud and hectic.
