The 2 stars only concern the breakfast buffet. For the price I expected something different. No boiled eggs, no fresh salmon, just salmon substitutes, canned fruit... Somehow also very carelessly prepared.

Very nice atmosphere in the lobby because it's like a ranch and the food and service are simple 👍 that's why full stars ⭐️

We were there for lunch today and were pleasantly surprised. The operators are very attentive and friendly, the food was very good. We also enjoyed the unusual ambience. You can tell that little treasures have been lovingly selected over many years. We'd love to come back.

Have been here several times (always on Sundays). The location is great, although a bit old and it urgently needs to be dusted off again. The toilets are also old and the cabins are too narrow, but at least they are reasonably clean. The food has always been good, but not anymore, half of us weren't satisfied. My meat was of poor quality and had a terrible aftertaste, probably not cured properly. After a few bites I left it. Others complained about little to no spice. We asked for salt and pepper, which we got, but the shakers were completely sticky, probably never washed. In addition, the service was once again terribly poor: even with a small number of people, it was not possible to get the drinks and food orders right. The waiter quickly got annoyed and just rolled his eyes; that's not possible in service. Drinks cannot be brought to the table in bottles, and a hamburger ordered without side dishes was apparently not possible "because of the cash register". The coffee was only warmed up and had a correspondingly bitter taste, the cake was from the freezer and cold inside. All in all we were disappointed and wouldn't go again.

We surprised our parents for their silver wedding anniversary with a real western party and country music on the stage at the Moonlight Ranch. It wasn't that easy that almost 100 guests kept secret about the real reason and reason for their invitation. Many thanks to Günter and his team for all the planning, organization and implementation of our unforgettable celebration, the magnificent buffet and the exuberant atmosphere until late at night with the live band. Our parents deserve it.

Good and solid stopover for families, children, hikers, bikers, riders, dog owners and everyone else who is traveling in and around Eppingen. You can sit comfortably inside and outside and the staff is super friendly. The menu is simple but rich and hearty. The atmosphere is a bit reminiscent of the good old westerns with decorations and all the animals. We always enjoy coming back.

We no longer count our many visits to the Moonlight Ranch in Eppingen since the turn of the millennium - there is always a reason for a visit. The atmosphere with the small stage in the trendy bar is great, and the reception is warm. Numerous objects from the USA on display ensure authenticity and local color. Activities and events take place regularly on the huge site. The culinary highlight for us is and remains the barbecue dishes, and there is an extra menu for children to choose from. This environment is a great place to switch off and enjoy...

Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't my thing. There were only scrambled eggs with bacon, many types of sausage were packaged goods of inferior quality, and there was only fresh fruit that wasn't ripe. Overall not worth the money they charge for it.

We were here for lunch on Sunday and the food, if you can call it that, was a disgrace. All finished products and the price performance wasn't right at all. Just a small example of maultaschen baked with ham and cheese, 4 small mauls and 1 slice of ham and cheese were 13 euros🤣. My husband had a burger and it was ok but it just lacked love. The fries aren't just ready-made chips and the highlight is that there wasn't even ketchup or mayo included. Unfortunately, the service couldn't really be called that. You ask a question and get an answer that is not my area of ​​responsibility. Well, once and never again

Nice location and nice ambience, but the food and especially the service are not recommended. We ordered 2 sausage salads, one without onions please, that wouldn't be a problem. Two not really generous portions arrived, each with a mountain of onions and dried-out mixed wheat bread of a very cheap variety.. ok, that can happen, we thought and pushed the onions to the side. Unfortunately the taste wasn't special and the portions didn't correspond to the price. When the gentleman came to clear away, he "didn't" ask if everything was ok, but I kindly pointed out to him that unfortunately both were delivered with onions, but one was ordered without. Answer: "He would have no idea what they were doing in the kitchen again" Sry but this guy is 100% wrong in service. There were only 7 guests present so there was definitely no stress... It was the last visit for us...

Fantastic location, exactly our collar size! We relied on a Google tip around 5 p.m. on a working day - and we weren't disappointed. Tasty, large portions, great outdoor area - and the fact that you have to walk yourself is bearable. (So ​​the 5 stars for the service are self-praise.) We'll be back, for sure!

We were there for lunch during the week. There is self-service in the beautiful beer garden. The drinks were poured straight away and we were able to take them with us. We were given a beeper for the meal. When it was ready, the beeper was activated and we were able to pick it up. We ordered cheeseburgers and a side dish. The portions were large and everything was very tasty. Only recommended.

Moonlight Ranch is simply fantastic! The surroundings are beautiful and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which makes the stay even more pleasant. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. A perfect place to escape from everyday life. I highly recommend Moonlight Ranch and will definitely come back!

Took a motorcycle ride to the ranch. Food was catastrophic, salad out of the bucket and the service couldn't provide any information about the food... Toilets very clean and the place looks good from the inside. You can go there to have a drink but it is not recommended to eat.

Very quiet, located a little outside. Access via asphalted dirt roads. We were there on a Saturday lunchtime and were the only two guests. Prices are very good, menu has a very American feel. Service was OK.

Very nice and large restaurant and biker meeting place. Beautifully designed as, as the name suggests, a ranch. You feel like you've been transported to the Wild West. Really great. Hopefully there will be a few more bikers there next time. But I absolutely recommend it.

I found there on a motorcycle tour on Father's Day because it is designated as a "biker meeting point" in the tour app. Just right for a little lunchtime snack - I thought! I can't say anything about the menu in the restaurant, I was at the stall in the courtyard. The so-called "Bruzzelfleisch" was a pan gyro floating in oil, poorly seasoned and with a tzatziki-like quark that was hot because of the garlic, but otherwise lacked any spices! The shandy was a 0.3l jug of Pils with some sweet fizz. How can you take Pils for a sweet cyclist?🤮 Maybe I'll come back sometime to try the restaurant, but the place is underground! Update May 25th: I would like to apologize for my review from Father's Day. It's true that I could say something straight away if I wasn't satisfied. Here again today with my wife. Had something to drink and shared a sausage salad. It was delicious! The apple pie was also delicious. Maybe it was because things were quite good on Father's Day. The location is definitely great. We were definitely not here for the last time.

Disappointing! Saloon without music on a Saturday evening, not even upon request at 7:30 p.m. Rejected by the boss with the words “Not anymore!”. Really sad! We expected more, at least some saloon atmosphere, especially on a Saturday evening. Disappointing and really a shame!! The food was okay and the service was very nice

In the meantime everything has become a bit old and there is a certain backlog of modernization and renovation. A fundamental change would be good for the property. Otherwise, good home cooking at still moderate prices.

We are local here and wanted to give the ranch a second chance. Unfortunately, even now, after 4 years, it hasn't worked. Waited 25 minutes for service, then another 35 minutes for the food. This is generally not acceptable. Food was mediocre. Unfortunately we didn't feel welcome again. You can just tell that the ranch is for sale and the “good times” are simply over. As far as we know, locals don't go there at all anymore.

Difficult to get to using navigation system. Were led along a dirt road. Enough parking spaces available. Nice, rustic atmosphere. ##Had the same bad experiences both times, as bikers and as 2 couples ## Very long wait until the waitress comes to take orders. Even though one of the boys was constantly running past, they were ignored. The food was only lukewarm. It probably sat for some time before it was served. You had to wait some time to pay. ●● It's a shame, we would have liked to come more often. ●● Luckily, there are other quaint restaurants in the region where you won't be ignored as a guest

We were there after a little motorcycle ride. We sat there for three quarters of an hour before anyone even asked if we would like something to drink. After we ordered a drink, it arrived after half an hour. The food tasted very good, but it took forever and the young man had to come back twice because he had forgotten what we had ordered. The two boys were extremely overwhelmed with the service, even though there really wasn't much going on. We didn't get our cutlery until 10 minutes after our food was there. Unfortunately, our neighboring table had the same problems. The setting and outdoor area were very beautiful.

We've been going there for years to eat salmon (50 km). Everything was always good. Last November the salmon was too raw. The innkeeper wanted to put it back on the board and cook it again. The salmon didn't want that and left. It can happen sometimes. We then made a reservation for today on site. Apparently it wasn't noted because the few guests who were there were more or less asked to leave (due to carnival) and we were told that nothing was reserved. After us the door was slammed and locked. We won't come back.

There were four of us there in the evening, the first time and for me also the last time. My order was schnitzel with potato fries and mixed salad! The fries were OK. The salad tasted like it was from lunch, so it was too old. And the schnitzel was guaranteed to have been warmed up in the microwave after being removed from a plastic container from a nearby supermarket. That's my honest impression. This is all very bad and you can only advise against entering the ranch. Just out of respect for your own digestive organs. What a shame!

Es war kalt im Raum ,Kuchen war noch gefroren innen und außen matschig .Tiefkühlware🤷‍♀️ Lange warten auf Kaffee und Cappuccino

Also uns gefällt es das es dort so schön urig und ländlich ist und man konnte dort früher wirklich sehr lecker Essen. Das hat leider ganz deutlich nachgelassen. Keines unserer 5 Gerichte war wirklich lecker. Die Soße eine reine fettbrühe, das Fleisch zäh und trocken, auch die Schnitzel waren alles andere als lecker und die Chicken Wings waren teilweise fast schwarz und total trocken. Die Bedienung hingegen war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sollten wenn wir nochmal hingehen dann definitiv nur wegen dem Ambiente und der freundlichen Bedienung. Also für diese Preise (wenn die Qualität passt wären die Preise vollkommen ok) ist das Essen eine schlechte Qualität und nicht wirklich zu empfehlen

Kann leider nichts dazu sagen,da wir Sonntag dort essen wollten 18uhr aber es kam ein junger Mann raus und sagte es gibt nichts zu essen,wollen sie dann gehen?Dachten halt wir gehen trotz den Bewertungen hin,denn jeder empfindet anders....schade,hätten gerne berichtet..leider ist unser Urlaub vorbei und wir werden es nie wissen..aber tolles Anwesen und gemütlich draußen,weiter kamen wir leider nicht..

Na ja, die Cola war gut. Das Essen ist das Geld nicht wert. Mini-Kinderportionen für viel Geld. Das Schnitzel war TK, viereckig und noch roh. Es wurde an die Küche weitergegeben, aber dafür konnten wir uns auch nix kaufen. Ein Espresso oder Eis für die Kids wäre zur Entschädigung nett gewesen. Definitiv werden wir hier nicht mehr anhalten zm essen.

Wir haben nur etwas getrunken. Man sitzt sehr nett im Biergarten. Es ist ruhig und angenehm da. Gutes Ziel für Wanderer, Radfahrer etc. Man kann auch Pferde anbinden.

Einfach alles super. Freundliche Bedienung, dass Essen einfach top. War schön öfters dort und jedes mal bin ich begeistert. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Habe dort bereits mein Geburtstag und meine Verlobung gefeiert. Auf Nachfrage wird jeder Wunsch erfüllt.👌

Der schlechteste Laden ever …wie man hier mit Gästen umgeht ist grenzwertig und zeigt das die Betreiber es nicht nötig haben Geld zu verdienen…leider muss man einen Stern geben damit man eine Bewertung abgeben kann, verdient ist dieser Stern aber noch nicht mal annähernd.

Heute mit einer Gruppe in die Ranch gefahren. Gleich vorab unser Fehler war dass wir den Tisch zu früh bestellt haben und nur ein Teil früher da war. Nach Ankunft Getränke bestellt, Teil geliefert nach 30 Minuten, Rest nach 45 Minuten. Frage ob man Essen gleich bestellen darf kam als Antwort nein wir machen zuerst die Getränke. Nach weiteren 30 Minuten dann erneut die Frage nach Essensbestellung, was dann lapidar verneint wurde da die Tische ab 15:00 schon wieder reserviert sind. Teil der Truppe konnte essen bestellen was seitens des Betreibers storniert wurde. Fazit: ein Gastronomiebetrieb dieser Art hat aus meiner Sicht keine Gäste verdient. PS: Erfahrung nicht das erste Mal und wenn man die Antworten auf die Kritiken sieht sagt dies mehr als jede Bewertung die man abgeben kann.

Ein schöner Treffpunkt für eine Pause auf Mopedtour. Außergewöhnliches Ambiente und gutes Essen, sowie nette Leute. Ich bin immer wieder gerne dort.

Wir waren heute zu 5. mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs und wollten hier eine Kleinigkeit Essen und was trinken. Wir sind rein und haben gesagt dass wir uns draußen hin setzen. Es hiess dass gleich eine Bedienung kommt. Es waren 3 Servicekräfte da. Nach 15 -20 Minuten kam endlich jemand zum Bestellung aufnehmen. Wir haben gefragt wie lange es dauern würde mit dem Essen da wir noch was vorhaben. Die Bedienung meinte 10 Minuten für Essen und Getränke. Nach nochmals 15-20 Minuten warten hatten wir nicht mal die Getränke. Wir haben nachgefragt wielange es noch dauert und uns wurde gesagt wenn es uns zu lange geht sollen wir doch gehen. Sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Wir haben geduldig gewartet und waren auch nicht unfreundlich. Dann sind wir eben gegangen. Essen kann ich leider nicht bewerten wir haben ja nichts bekommen und Service würde ich Null geben wenn es gehen würde. Auf die Antwort vom Betreiber möchte ich nur sagen: Schauen Sie sich bitte meine Bewertungen in meinem Profil an, daran erkennt man, dass ich selten in so einem schlechten Restaurant war und sicherlich mich nicht am Ton vergreife, aber nach 40 Minuten hatten wir nicht einmal das Trinken und das hat nichts damit zu tun, dass wir keine Zeit hatten. Nicht sehr kritikfähig. Es waren kaum Gäste da und drei Servicekräfte.

Gutes Ausflugsziel für Wanderer, Biker, Oldtimer -Fans Gute Auswahl and Speisen und Getränken zu akzeptablen Preisen Gute Bedienung.. Viele Parkplätze

Nur Kaffee getrunken..den dünnsten seit der Bundeswehr!! Ansonsten kann ich nicht mehr sagen.
