Sind spontan mal vorbeigekommen & wurden wirklich sehr überzeugt! Die Bedienung ist wirklich nett, das Essen kam schnell und war sehr lecker. Cordon Bleu & Schweinemedillons sind auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!.

Wir waren heute hier essen und sind begeistert. Ich hatte das Eppinger Pfännle – es war sehr lecker und absolut empfehlenswert. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und gemütlich, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren am Ostermontag mit einer größeren Gruppe (23Pers.) im Gasthaus zur Palme. Alles lief reibungslos, Kinder zuerst und wir Erwachsenen haben dann auch zeitgleich unser leckeres Essen, alle heiß bekommen. Toller, freundlicher Service. Zuvorkommend. Super leckeres Essen. Von Lachs über Variationen von Schnitzel, und das Eppinger Pfännle war alles dabei. Wir kommen gerne wieder! In kleinen und großen Gruppen. Alle waren begeistert, und meine Mama sagte, die Anreise aus Karlsruhe lohnt sich 👌 Top! Macht weiter so!

Sehr gutes Lokal, ich war wirklich zufrieden. Das Personal ist besonders nett und freundlich. Vor allem das junge blonde Mädchen im Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, so eine Bedienung wünscht man sich wirklich. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Sehr lange Wartezeit. Als das Essen schließlich kam, wurde es zu völlig unterschiedlichen Zeiten serviert. Einige waren bereits fertig, während andere ihr Essen noch gar nicht bekommen hatten. Als Begründung wurde genannt, dass viel los gewesen sei – allerdings war das Restaurant keineswegs voll. In einem professionellen Restaurant sollte so etwas dennoch organisiert werden können. Auch geschmacklich konnte das Essen leider nicht überzeugen. Es war nichts dabei, das man unbedingt noch einmal bestellen müsste. Alles in allem daher nicht zu empfehlen.

We celebrated a birthday 🎁 with 30 people at the Palme restaurant. Even beforehand, I received friendly and competent advice. We started with potato cream soup. Then we had roast beef, turkey schnitzel, and pork tenderloin. The meat was cooked to perfection and very tasty. It was served with fries, croquettes, and spaetzle, which were also excellent. The salad was also fantastic with a really delicious dressing. All the guests were well taken care of, and the entire staff was very friendly. What I personally really liked was the overall ambiance. The tables were beautifully and uniformly set in warm colors. Keep up the good work! 👍

It's a good, traditional restaurant. Please note that the game menu is no longer available! However, the onion roast beef and the Eppinger pan-fried dish are simply fantastic! 😊 The food was excellent, the service was incredibly friendly, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. A cozy room with a fireplace and lovely decorations, delicious freshly cooked food (meat tender and juicy, salads crisp, plentiful and with fine dressing), friendly hosts and a relaxed atmosphere - everything was perfect!

We ate there a few times before it closed. We were always very satisfied and the food was very good. Today we ate there and I have to say it was a disappointment. The portions were like a child's portion and not justifiable for the price. What a shame. We won't be going back.

The food was always delicious. The owner was a character in his own right. In short, a true restaurateur, he provided excellent service and always had the right funny story or quip for young and old alike. It's a real shame he's retiring.

The roast beef was truly one of the best I've ever had. And definitely three fingers up. The spaetzle and salad were also excellent. However, there could have been a bit more onion and the sauce a bit hotter. The service was also impeccable, and the atmosphere was lovely and rustic. I highly recommend it. Addendum: I've eaten a lot of roast beef in my life, and I can say that there are very few that can compete with it. You absolutely have to try it!

We (10 people) were out on our Vespas and were looking for a place to eat on a whim. After a quick phone call, the proprietor confirmed our reservation, which isn't always the case for a Sunday lunch. We were all thoroughly impressed by the service and the truly excellent food. I haven't eaten this well in ages. Delicious schnitzel, homemade spaetzle, and a sauce to die for. It couldn't be better. And the dessert: warm apple strudel with vanilla ice cream, simply divine. A definite 5 stars. I'll definitely be back! Even three years after my first review, it's still top-notch.

The food is very good. Unfortunately, the chef feels the need to show off at the expense of the guests and gives insulting, patronizing lectures. Nobody needs that! We certainly won't be coming back.

Great restaurant! Very cozy atmosphere. Very friendly, attentive service. The roast beef with onions was tender, and the onions and gravy were very flavorful. My son had schnitzel with fries. That was also very good. We'd love to come back next time we're in the area.

There were seven of us in the inn and we were all thrilled by the quality of the food (venison goulash, Eppinger Pfännle, Cordon Bleu). In all cases the meat was very tasty and the portions were large. The price-performance ratio is definitely right. The service was also good. We'll be back!

There were fixed menus over Christmas. The same soup and dessert for everyone, the main course varies. Basically that's ok, BUT: The price/performance ratio was not right at all. The soup was ok. The meat from the roast is not of good quality. But the stunner was the dessert... frozen apple strudel with whipped cream and cheap vanilla ice cream. And for almost €40 per person just for the food. It's a shame, unfortunately that no longer has anything to do with the old palm tree.

We dined here on business with suppliers. Very good service. We were there on a Monday, so the restaurant was probably relatively empty. We had the Cordon Bleu and the Eppinger Pfännchen. The meat was delicious. The salad beforehand was fresh but prepared with the typical ready-made sauce. Overall, however, recommended. The interior could be renovated again.

First of all: The waiter was always friendly and accommodating. However, we had to get cash first before our visit, as you can only pay with EC card and cash in this restaurant. This is no longer appropriate in 2024, especially if you happen to have tourists there. The gyros served were okay, but the portion of meat for a gyros was rather lean and was also dipped in gravy. We had the feeling that some leftovers were being used here. However, when paying, the amount came up. I gave the waiter an amount from which I still have to receive remaining money. He took my money and went back to the restaurant. Then he came back out and served another table before I got my change. I've never experienced that before and it's certainly unusual in the industry. All in all, I wouldn't come here again.

We had lunch here during a motorcycle tour and a break in Eppingen. The waiter greeted us very friendly and served us. The food was delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately you sit directly on the street, but they have done the best possible with the design to still make the outdoor seating comfortable. We'd love to come back when we're in the area.

Went there a few weeks ago and am still shocked by what happened there. For the first time in my life, I had my food returned after others confirmed the rancid taste. I was very polite because I was actually sorry to have to return the food. Instead of an apology, I was loudly shouted at and insulted in front of all the guests. When my sister-in-law pointed out that his behavior was unacceptable, the waiter again became loud and very rude. We still had to pay for food and there was no apology... That is not how it works!!!

The food is very tasty and the portions are large and it won't break your wallet. The service is attentive and friendly and addresses any requests you might have. The restaurant is called a Stamnhaus and it is furnished accordingly, rustic, with woodwork, and meets expectations.

We came today for a club meeting and unfortunately fewer guests showed up than expected. Apart from us there were zero guests in the entire restaurant. When ordering, two of my friends were judged and insulted by the waiter because they ordered fries. “That’s just not good for business! You have to understand this from my side,” he said. He talked to one of them until it became too uncomfortable for her and she had to leave the restaurant. Very rude and not at all hospitable service.

Cozy and good middle class. There were four of us. Food came pretty much at the same time. The innkeeper was friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and plentiful. Onion roast with fries was great! Rarely have I had such a good roast roast in recent years! Salad fresh and crunchy! There was nothing to complain about.

We came to this restaurant because of the positive reviews. We were warmly welcomed and the innkeeper clearly enjoyed his work. Unfortunately I cannot share the statement about the quality. In the bar there was cheap water and bitter lemon from plastic bottles from the discount store and the onion roast was unfortunately dry and quite tough. The spaetzle came out of the microwave watery. A pity.

Waren jetzt 2x zum Essen dort. Das Essen selbst ist gut, da kann man nicht meckern. Aber beide Male wurde bestelltes Essen vergessen, einmal kann es ja passieren, aber 2x innerhalb von 4 Wochen geht gar nicht. Ausserdem wurde das Essen so gebracht, daß die ersten schon mit dem Essen fertig waren, bis der Rest sein Essen hatte. Den Service kann ich nicht empfehlen.

Schwierig etwas zu schreiben...war Weihnachten... muss man nochmal ausprobieren an einem "normalen" Tag

Wir waren zu einer Schulung in Eppingen und sind direkt im Anschluss zum Abendessen in die Palme. Bestellt hatten wir 2 x den Zwiebelrostbraten. Einmal mit Spätzle, einmal mit Pommes. Serviert wurde dann jedoch 2 x Spätzle! Die Bedienung hat sich hierfür entschuldigt und nach rund 10 min die Pommes gebracht. Bis dahin haben wir uns zwangsläufig mit den Spätzle vergnügt. Diese waren jedoch eine Zumutung. Irgendwelche Noname-Billigspätzle aus dem Supermarkt. Offenbar wurde auch noch das Salz im Kochwasser vergessen. Das Fleisch war gut gewürzt, aber etwas zu durch gebraten. Darüber hinaus wiesen beide Fleischstücke Knorpel- bzw. Sehnenanteile auf. Tja, zum Glück waren Glühwein, Salat und Pommes i. O. Andernfalls hätten wir nur 2 Punkte vergeben können. Schade. Dies war unser erster und letzter Besuch in der Palme.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, eine große Auswahl an Gerichte. Der Rostbraten, ein tolles Stück Fleisch, auf den Punkt gegart und sehr schön angerichtet. Das Cordon Bleu ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert.

Schönes ländliches Ambiente mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Hatte das Pfänle mit Weißwein und ein Schnaps, ich kann das nur jeden Empfehlen! Danke sehr für die nette gastfreundliche Atmosphäre.

Das Restaurant bietet eine sehr leckere, deutsche Küche und mehr als ausreichende Portionen. Das Wildgulasch mit Spätzle war wirklich vorzüglich. Ich komme gerne wieder. ☺️

Das Restaurant hat ein schön eingerichtetes Lokal, sowie die Möglichkeit im Hof zu sitzen und draußen zu sitzen Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben eine Stoßzeit erwischt, und meiner Mutter hatte aufgrund einer Nahrungsunverträglichkeit einen Sonderwunsch - vermutlich deswegen dauerte das Essen in der Zubereitung ca eine ganze Stunde. Der Chef hatte sich dafür entschuldigt und es gab ein entgegenkommen. Das Essen war sehr reichlich und top im Geschmack. Die Preise sind super. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
