At least the pizza used to be good, but these days, the food here is completely forgettable. The pizza base is as hard as stone, and for larger events, it's better to just have a drink and eat at home beforehand. The wait times are extremely frustrating, and when the food finally arrives, it's cold, poorly prepared, and in tiny portions. On the plus side, the beer garden is really nice outside, and the service is always friendly and polite. Unfortunately, that's not enough to overlook the major flaws in the food.

They didn't whant to attend us, the owners were sitting inside drinking and smoking and told us that is was closed and go away !

Man, I hope they open again soon! Truly the premier address in Dachau's old town! I'm looking forward to it opening again!

A disaster! An event with 300 people – with a restaurant and bowling alley on the side. We arrived at 5:30 p.m., ordered drinks at 6:30 p.m., and ordered food at 7:00 p.m. Now it's 9:45 p.m., and there's no food in sight (like many in the hall). We got drinks from the self-service bar. No go!

Update: Unfortunately, I have to deduct 3 stars. The doner still tastes good, yes, but unfortunately the quality isn't up to scratch. The meat is sausage meat, not layered meat, and 9 euros(!) is WAY too much for that! I don't know if that's changed or if I just didn't notice it before. Until now, I also assumed that 9 euros was just the delivery price, but even on-site, they charge that price. In short: The meat isn't real layered meat, and it's far too expensive for that, and by law, it shouldn't even be called a doner. Original reviews: I've eaten every doner in Dachau, and Grillhouse 76 delivers by far the best doner. Very good meat, very good sauce, very good bread, and everything is simply classic, the way doner tastes best! Please maintain your quality, please don't try to cut corners at the expense of quality. There are already far too many doner shops that deliver inferior products. I am sure that many will thank you and reward you!
