I'd love to come back. The food and service were great.

I've been here several times, and my last visit convinced me again and I enjoy coming here. Most of the staff are long-standing, which speaks volumes about good management. They're friendly and extremely attentive. If you use the buffet and place your bowls at different times for preparation, they still ensure that everyone gets their food at the same time. That's a top-notch point! I think you can tell that this team regularly thinks about how they can improve processes; I certainly notice this as a consumer. Your sauce of the month (currently March 25) is so fantastic that I wish they'd add it to the menu. The food is extremely delicious and high-quality. You can get ingredients here that I've never been able to find anywhere else. Keep that up 👍🏽 When you make a reservation online, I'd like to be able to see how long your stay is. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told we had 2.5 hours. For us that was completely sufficient but it's good to know that beforehand 😊 Keep up the good work 👌🏽

We have been guests here off and on for years. Every time we were greeted and served in a very friendly manner. The dishes are varied and fresh. The ambience has changed favorably. 6 stars if there were.

Would always recommend the restaurant. We are here in Duisburg as holidaymakers and were initially overwhelmed by the menu when we arrived at the restaurant. Thanks to the lovely waitress who noticed our desperation, we became smarter and understood the menu very well. We were also recommended to try something new.😉 Everything was just right. Ambience and cheerful waiters. What we unfortunately missed were the insects at the buffet, as we really wanted to test them out. But even without insects, we all went home very full and happy. 😅

Fantastic food & first class service! We had a great evening at Mongo's Testourant in Duisburg. The food was simply fantastic – fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. The ambience is pleasant and invites you to linger. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and helpful staff, who were attentive at all times and really put the customer first. The service was consistently excellent! We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the restaurant. An all-round successful experience!

Definitely worth a visit again and again. The food and selection is fantastic and so individual. The waiters were very nice and accommodating. The restaurant even has something to do for children. But I would particularly like to emphasize the allergy-friendliness. Everything is labeled and you even get a card with all the marinade ingredients on it. Plus, the board is labeled as an allergy board, so the food is fried separately. So really, really good. The price-performance ratio is absolutely great because you can really help yourself to as much as you want. I can highly recommend it to everyone.

We always reserve with a dog. This is always taken into account and he gets a water bowl. Totally nice and attentive service, small errors are corrected immediately and without any hassle. Great recommendations if you ask. Only sometimes a little louder when very busy. But you can still have a good time.

Ambience is not that great. Loud and narrow. But the waitress loves her job. I was a GUEST and really enjoyed it too. What a difference good service staff makes...❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The dining experience was very nice for experience gastronomy. You have to be open to new things.

Eine super freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung durch Chanelle und ihre Kollegen. Dazu eine tolle Black-Pepper Soße sowie eine große Auswahl an Zutaten mit einem Rabatt von 25% auf das Essen, weil Montag war.

Ich finde das rumexperimentieren zum Gericht hervorragend. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Es hat Spaß gemacht…im ganzen ein toller Abend

Celebrated my husband's birthday today at Mongo's Duisburg. What can I say, everything was perfect! The entire staff was also very sweet with our daughters and we had a lot of fun and were able to enjoy the food to the fullest. After the children were finished, they were even provided with painting supplies from the restaurant and happily painted while we were able to finish eating. There was even a small ball on the house for the children. What a service! Absolutely great and not a given! Thanks also to Chanel. She tried very hard, was on point and impressed with her nice and funny manner. Until next time 😊

A great and unusual restaurant that doesn't come around often in my opinion. The staff was top. Very nice, accommodating, funny and quick. The food is something different. Everything is freshly prepared, the only thing that didn't really convince me was the quality of the meat. There was a lot and a good selection, especially when it came to fish. The meat was also good but nothing special and unfortunately often frozen, the marinades and sauces are terrible. Lots of variations and different directions. Definitely something for everyone. Definitely in the higher category in terms of price. Food around 33€ and drinks for example a small beer 5€, a Gosse spritzer 5.50 and cocktails from 8-15€. In total A great shop that I will visit again. Great, keep it up

Went to Mongos today to celebrate my husband's birthday in a small group. We were lucky enough to have Chanel as our waitress. She was super friendly, always took her time and recommended great juices to our daughter. This makes eating at Mongos even more fun :) Her recommendation regarding the sauces was also great. We are already looking forward to the next visit :)

Mongos has very fresh food. Here you can put together your own plate/bowl and it will be fried in a previously selected sauce. Unfortunately, most sauces are spicy. The restaurant is nice. When filling the food you stand a little cramped. The waiting times are okay. The service is friendly and attentive. Personally, I think it's a little too expensive. For me, all you can eat is almost never worth it, so I'm not a benchmark. It's delicious and beautifully located on the inner harbor. Anyone who likes Asian cuisine will be happy here.

Location good, parking and e-charging options available all around. Ambience a bit cramped, service very good, meat quality mediocre. Drinks very expensive. Be sure to choose the option with weighing the bowls and not the Allyoucaneat offer! The starter soup isn't worth it.

Yesterday we were guests at Mongo's in Duisburg. The place was very full and everything was a bit clunky. Nevertheless, the service was friendly and on the ball. Really good. The food was really tasty. Although there is always a tendency to always choose the same ingredients. The marinades are a change here. I think it's positive that the vegetarian version is cheaper, as the price is already higher. However, you can still do it.

Beautiful, well-attended location and attentive service. Food as delicious as you put it together yourself. The small downer is the prices and the lack of soup and dessert in the buffet, which I expect given the price range.

Toller Servicer, schönes Restaurant, viel Auswahl. Allerdings kann es auch recht eng und laut werden wenn das Restaurant gut gefüllt ist.

Da unsere Kinder dort gerne mal hin wollten sind wir am 2. Weihnachtstag dort hin gegangen. Es war ok aber alle haben gesagt das sie für den Preis nicht nochmal dorthin müssten. Einfach auch zu voll. Unterhalten war schwierig da es sehr laut war.

Mein Mann und ich waren heute mit unseren zwei Kindern da, und wir haben uns rundum wohl und gesehen gefühlt. Das Essen war mega lecker und der Service, der beste, den ich je hatte mit Kleinkindern. Das Lokal ist wirklich mehr als kinderfreundlich, und so hatten wir heute einen echt schönen Hochzeitstag. Vielen Dank!

Das Buffett ist gut sortiert aber nicht überragend . Der Red Snapper ist nicht der Fisch der sich , mit Haut , zum Braten auf der Blancha eignet die Haut verknorpelt und wird nicht essbar . Für Gäste mit einer Intoleranz ggü Schärfe steht nur eine Soße zur Verfügung. Leider . Alles in allem eine schöne und gute Erfahrung. Es hat geschmeckt, die Bowls kamen zügig an den Tisch und der Service auf der Fläche war auf dem Punkt präsent und äußerst zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder nach Duisburg.

Unser Lieblingsrestaurant. Super Service - Kellner/in sind höflich und schnell. Die Lebensmittel sind frisch und sehr abwechslungsreich und wird immer schnell auf gefüllt (Buffet). Ambiente ist richtig toll - allerdings einen 1 Stern Abzug, da für mein Empfinden die Tische zu nah beieinander stehen und ein/e Kellner/in gerade sehr knapp rein passt. Ansonsten empfehlenswert!

First time there, otherwise always in Essen. Very tasty as always. It's just a classic restaurant chain. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The disadvantage in Duisburg is the parking situation. A longer walk is always required.

Wir lieben den Sonntagsbrunch! Auch heute war wieder alles wundervoll, eine riesige Auswahl die durchgehend aufgefüllt wurde. Alles frisch, viele ausgefallene Zutaten – wir kommen immer gerne wieder :) Kleines Minus: Gegen den starken Geräuschpegel könnte man bestimmt mit Deckenabsorbern etwas tun, die Waffelstation riecht leider sehr stark bei Inbetriebnahme

Das war ein sehr gelungener Abend. Wir wurden von sehr freundlichem Personal begrüßt, was sich in allen Bereichen durch den Abend zog. Das Konzept ist genial und das Ergebnis und Erlebnis ebenso. Absolut empfehlenswert !!!

It's been a while now, more precisely on August 27th, 2024, we went to Mongo's for the first time and were simply thrilled. Starting with the location, basically on the promenade with a great view, we sat on the terrace and had the best waitress ever!!! Her name is Jenny and you and your service qualities were our highlight of the evening (alongside the excellent buffet offering of course). She represented the store well and sweetened our evening with passion and fun. Unfortunately, her expertise has become a rarity in gastronomy these days and yet I wish every good restaurant a "Jenny" because she is responsible for ensuring that guests experience an unforgettable evening in addition to the culinary delights. P.s. dear Jenny, thank you for charging your cell phone 😉

Always my pleasure. The staff are always friendly and helpful, so you feel comfortable. Gluten-free is no problem either! The board is marked and the dish is prepared in its own pan. There is now a free “salad buffet” in the evenings. On Sundays for brunch there are free starters such as salad or soup and dessert such as yoghurt, mouse au chocolat, freshly made waffles and ice cream.

Das Essen war Klasse, die Auswahl leider nicht so üppig wie erwartet und die Geräuschkulisse enorm.

Das Personal war super lieb und hat uns alles toll erklärt. Die frischen Zutaten waren wirklich frisch und die Köche haben es schnell und lecker zubereitet. Die Suppe im Vorfeld war sehr interessant…lecker interessant😄 und das Brot mit dem Dip dazu…einfach toll. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön. Wir sind wirklich zu 100% mit allem sehr zufrieden. Sollten wir nochmal in der Nähe sein, dann kommen wir sehr gerne vorbei und hoffen, dass die sehr nette Bedienung Chanel wieder da ist😄 Vielen Dank🙏🏽😊

Very nice concept. A very good opportunity, especially for groups, to go out less formally and have fun. I have to particularly emphasize the operation here. Extremely friendly, helpful, funny and flexible. You almost feel a little like you're in the USA. And anyone who has ever been there knows that that is a great compliment. I recommend Mongo's 👍

Never tried this experience and it was almost positive. A variety of sauces, vegetables, meat and fish cooked on demand. Too crowded and long queues. Kind staff.

We actually love Mongo’s, they’re really delicious. But the sauces have worn off quite a bit. The consistency is no longer the same and, above all, Malay satay is really spicy. We hope that it changes again soon otherwise we really have to end with Mongo's.

locale davvero originale. un bbq in stile cucina mongola con prodotti originali (zebra, struzzo, bufalo e canguro). tutto squisito e con sapori mai provati. il personale è di una gentilezza infinita. insomma: eccezionale

DS Mogos's is definitely worth a visit. The buffet is great and the staff is extremely accommodating. Because it's so good, it can be very crowded. Be sure to reserve.

Es ist alles top in Ordnung. Das Essen ist richtig lecker und ich fühle mich danach nie träge und habe kein Völlegefühl. Das erste Restaurant bei dem es so ist! Allerdings gibt es eine Sache, an die ich mich bisher noch nicht gewöhnen konnte. Das ist der Geräuschpegel in Verbindung mit den eng angeordneten Tischen. Man muss sehr laut reden und fühlt sich so, als wenn die Tischnachbarn alles mitbekommen. Abgesehen davon, ist es immer einen Besuch wert

The food from the buffet and select was of good quality and was brought to the table freshly fried. The selection and taste were very good and sufficient. Unfortunately, the wait for the finished fried plates took a little longer that evening. Nevertheless, the food came to the table cold. The ambience is just what it is. On weekends and evenings it is very loud in this small but cozy restaurant. It's a lot quieter at lunchtime. Nevertheless, we can recommend the restaurant at any time of the day. The service is always great and we have never been disappointed. We like going there. And recommend it to everyone.

Ich hatte nach dem Essen eine Lebensmittelvergiftung, hab die ganze Nacht gebrochen und hatte Durchfall. Zwei Tage danach ist mir immernoch übel. Ich hatte das "alles inklusive" Angebot. Mich habt ihr als Kunden definitiv verloren .

My husband and I were here for the first time. And we will definitely come again during our vacation! The selection at Mongolian buffets is huge! There are also 10 different sauces. What is also very good is the selection of vegan dishes since my husband is vegan. For dessert I had Death by Chocolate, it was to die for!

Wir waren mit unseren 4 jährigen Zwillingen (einer von ihnen schwer herzkrank in Palliativbetreuung) dort. Die Kellerin war so nett und herzlich zu den Jungs und uns das wir uns unfassbar willkommen gefühlt haben. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service überragend. Selten so kinderfreundlich erlebt.

I was there for the first time. Service and food really great. There is still room for improvement when it comes to desserts. Nothing special. The price-performance ratio is not okay because you can hardly eat more than a small bowl of the food prepared by the chef, which mainly consists of noodles and rice and vegetables. The price should please be reconsidered.
