We've been going to this exceptionally wonderful and super friendly restaurant at least once a month for a year now. We always receive excellent service, and the food is truly delicious.

Unfortunately, I didn't feel welcome here and even felt scared; I was shaking. I've always been extremely polite myself. I look southern and was treated as if I were worthless, while another couple with no visible immigrant background was served in a friendly manner. Unfortunately, I've had this experience there several times before. For this reason, I only ordered takeout. The food itself was very delicious, and if I had been treated politely, I would have gladly become a regular customer. However, due to repeated, hurtful experiences, I won't be coming again.

We've eaten here many times, and I have to say the sushi is by far the best, and for us, the best in the city! It's truly top-notch quality, and you can taste it. We've tried other dishes, too, but the sushi is the reason we love eating here again and again.

We always enjoy sitting here, and it's easy to organize with the whole family. The service is friendly and attentive. Of the dishes we ordered, I would order tempura again next time. The items on the menu aren't meant as main courses. That means you order multiple portions. They serve many types of maki and California rolls, so they're taking no risks because they don't require a sushi master.

The food was okay, but the staff were really rude and wanted customers to leave as soon as they finished their food. When we had just finished our meal and wanted dessert, the staff member immediately brought the card reader to our table. We said we wanted dessert, and this kind of behavior was extremely rude. The answer we received was: There's nothing to be done. Not recommended.

I visited this store for the first time the other day because I had been interested in it for a while. It was a weekday night, so there were a few empty seats in the restaurant, but considering the amount of people on the street, there were some customers inside. The inside of the restaurant was calm and I was able to enjoy my meal while talking with my partner. I ordered two types of nigiri, takoyaki and a sushi roll as appetizers, and a poke ball and fried rice as main dishes. All the meals were delicious and filled me up! I was very grateful to be able to eat Japanese food at a reasonable price. Also, if I miss Japanese food, I will definitely visit!

The fish was great! The soup and side dishes were too salty and tasted “out of the bag”. The loud music was unpleasant (techno-pop, I don't want to listen to that while eating, it made the atmosphere very unpleasant). When asked to turn it down or turn on different music, the reaction was passive-aggressive. No recommendation!

If you are looking for a little culinary highlight in Duisburg, you should definitely visit Ichiraku. The food is just super delicious. So sushi, ramen or Japanese snacks - are all freshly and deliciously prepared without tasting greasy or glutamate-like. I particularly recommend the dragon rolls and the ramen soups, which I always eat here. Thank you very much, I am now a regular guest 😊

There aren't that many Japanese in Duisburg and this one is not inferior to any Japanese snack bar with seating on Düsseldorf's Immermannstrasse. The sushi is made fresh and really outstanding! I always eat one of the dragon rolls and the soups (miso or ramen), but the salads and finger food are also highly recommended. Maybe one or two of you will try the Salmon Teriyaki mmmh. The shop is really an orchid in the otherwise rather monotonous cuisine in Duisburg. If you love Japanese food, you should definitely stop by here. In addition, the shop is owner-managed - not a chain - and you will be warmly welcomed, served and given advice if you don't know what to do next. I regularly come to the shop after the Thai massage to extend my feeling of wellness and what can I say, it always works!

Difficult ...not to give 5 stars ALTHOUGH there is criticism: Parking...preferably in the parking garage 100 meters away = approx. €6 additional cost...Difficult Restaurant... small and very nice, with 6 people we already had half the restaurant to ourselves, in the 2 hours about 10 guests were turned away = without a reservation... Difficult Food...great quality and very tasty but since everything was fresh it took about an hour for the food to arrive and it's not cheap either rather expensive because the MAN doesn't really get full...Difficult Super helpful service, good menu, great restaurant, great food with some difficulties ;)

I highly recommend this restaurant! As soon as you enter you are greeted by a very pleasant atmosphere, which is perfectly rounded off by the staff. The menu offers an excellent selection of sushi and other Japanese specialties. We particularly enjoyed the Beef Udon dish and the Ebi fry Curry menu. Every bite was a delight. The waitress was super attentive and really nice. We felt very comfortable. We will definitely come back and recommend the restaurant to our friends and family.

The BBQ and stir-fried udon noodles at this Japanese restaurant are truly amazing! The grilled chicken skewers and beef skewers are tender and juicy, grilled to perfection, and you can feel the deliciousness of the chicken and the aroma of the charcoal fire in every bite. The fried udon noodles are another highlight. The noodles are chewy and the sauce is rich. It is paired with fresh vegetables and meat and has a rich taste. Overall, the food here is unforgettable in terms of taste and texture!

The fried Japanese beef udon here is really too delicious. The beef is specially marinated, and after two days you will want to eat it again.

The food was quite tasty, although quite little. The service wasn't particularly friendly and it took a relatively long time. What was most annoying was that according to the opening times it should be open at 11:30. We stood in front of locked doors at 12 and had to call to be let in. I think if you want to open at 11:30, you should open at 11:30. Including heated room, music and set tables. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Too bad.

Very tasty sushi at fair prices. We ordered the sushi lunch menu with miso soup and salad and an additional 4 portions of makis. Everything was very tasty, only the cocktail sauce as a salad dressing was a bit inappropriate, so I would have preferred a more traditional Japanese sesame or yuzu dressing.

We tried the lunch special, the quality was mediocre. For the price you would have expected a little more.

My partner and I ate here for the first time yesterday and it was definitely worth it. We both had several things, once the ebi tempura, the rainbow sushi, the beef udon, fried rice with chicken and for dessert we ordered mochi. The waiting time was completely clear, we didn't have to wait an unusually long time. We got a spot straight away when we arrived. All of the dishes were incredibly good. We had both sake and Japanese green tea, both of which went very well with the food. The staff was friendly, you felt really welcome. And the ambience was very nice. There was quiet music playing in the background the whole time, which was very relaxing. The music wasn't too loud, so you could still have a conversation and in quiet moments you could enjoy the music. The store is relatively small, but the space is used well and the decor is very attractive. I can only recommend it here, even as someone who rarely goes out for Asian food.

My wife and I were in town for an appointment today and were craving sushi. It's a great, small and cozy shop, with great food. We ordered it to take away and it was ready as promised. The price-performance ratio was also great. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back.

wir waren zu 5, zwei Personen habe nach 30 min Essen bekommen, der Rest erst nach fast 2 Stunden. Es wurde 101 mit Ente bestellt, bezahlen müssen 2 Speisen :( also doppelt. Sehr unfreundliche Inhaberin, die aggressiv und peinlich war. Ihre Aussage - geh doch zum Chinesen, da ist es günstiger. Uns sieht ihr nie mehr wieder.

Normally it was our regular restaurant, today we ordered 100 pieces of sushi for my birthday and when we picked them up they only gave us 2 pairs of chopsticks. When I asked if it was possible to get more than one, even if I had paid, my husband was very rudely asked to leave the store . No matter how delicious! WE WILL NEVER ENTER THE STORE AGAIN!

Although the beef pho at 13 euros is not cheap, the amount of meat inside is sufficient and the meat is made with two different methods. It is very delicious. The atmosphere of the store is good and the toilet is very clean. I think it is still worth a visit, but It should be noted that beef pho will contain chili peppers. If you don’t want spicy food, it’s best to tell them in advance.

My absolute favorite sushi restaurant outside of Japan. It's small but very cozy with a Japanese flair that doesn't seem fake. The people there are very friendly and nice. The food there is simply amazing, better sushi can only be found in Japan - but you have to find it there first.

After wandering around Duisburg, I saw the Ichiraku restaurant and decided to try it. The food tastes amazing. I had the Beef Udon bowl, the meat was really tender and tasty. The restaurant is small, offering a very nice, calm atmosphere and the service is excellent. Definitely go for it.

Small, fine shop in the old town. The sushi is incredibly tasty, and the other dishes are also very good. The portions are sufficiently large. You feel comfortable there and the service is very unobtrusive and totally friendly. You have all the time in the world and it's very, very relaxed. Absolute recommendation!
