Mönchbruch Mühle in Mörfelden-Walldorf

The restaurant and hotel have a very pleasant atmosphere. Is cozy. Tastes are different, so I'll give my personal opinion: The menu card was too small for me. Far too little choice there. The menu sounds more “upscale” (cranberries with veal schnitzel, for example). I think there were only 4 sides of food there, the rest was drinks. I then put together a menu myself. Didn't find fries on the menu. But they did! I ordered normal cream sauce, without anything. Also came without everything. But there was something wrong with the taste. After other people tried it, they said it must have been deglazed with white wine or something. But it wasn't mentioned... Since I don't know alcohol, I unfortunately didn't like it. It was probably due to the upscale atmosphere. So it wasn't my cup of tea and probably won't be a second visit.

Very good restaurant with great food. Very good quality and excellent service. The ambience is nice and was decorated accordingly during the Christmas season. 100% recommendation.

Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of enjoying the fried tips of beef fillet and veal fillet in the Mönchbruch Mühle restaurant. The meat was perfectly fried, incredibly tender and harmonized wonderfully with the wild mushroom cream sauce. The Mediterranean grilled vegetables, pesto and mashed potatoes rounded off the dish. But what really made this evening unforgettable was the exceptional service. The top service that the team offers here is simply remarkable - attentive, friendly, fast and always professional. As a guest you feel completely pampered and valued. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also warm and inviting. I'll definitely be back!

We were very impressed with the restaurant. We were particularly impressed by the service. I would describe it as authentically nice and very attentive. For me, this deserves a top grade and is, for me, one of the best in Rhine-Main. Chapeau. The food was great - very tasty and well balanced. We would be happy to come back for this great combination of service and quality. Half a star deducted for the worst cappuccino in a long time. Here I would strongly recommend booking a round of optimization and training. To the management: go to the Cafe Brühmarkt in Frankfurt and use that as a benchmark. :-) Another half point deduction for the men's toilet - in terms of hygiene and condition it doesn't do justice to the otherwise excellent overall impression.

The mill is always our starting point after a long walk or long hike in the Mönchbruch nature reserve. In the large garden with plenty of seating, you can relax and enjoy whatever you have picked up yourself from the mill. Directly adjacent is the upscale Hotel Restaurant Mönchhof. There is now a fire bowl and another fireplace outside the mill, where you can warm yourself with a mulled wine (or punch/coffee/tea) while cracking the burning wood. This makes sitting outside fun even in the cool season.

The Mönchbruchmühle is beautifully located, right at the entrance to the nature reserve, with plenty of space and a nice atmosphere, including outside. However, we decided not to eat a piece of cake there because the selection at the self-service cake buffet wasn't exactly amazing and there were also a lot of flies buzzing around the cakes. Here you should think about how you can cover the cakes with a fly bell, otherwise it is really unappetizing. So unfortunately we left without eating anything. Too bad.

Tarte flambée is good. Albeit ultimately overpriced. 10,- for comparison for a pizza.

If it wasn't the food that enchanted me, then the deep peace and relaxation in the rooms. Despite a large dining room, the tables are not only separated by the beams, the wood look and the numerous design elements also create a special atmosphere. The service was extremely courteous and friendly, and the food was simply fantastic. There is a large free parking lot in front of it (The parking lot continues on the other side of the street and even further around the corner. There is a sleepy duck pond nearby and fantastic cycling and hiking opportunities through the countryside, but don't let the planes put you off.

Saturday evening, 3 adults and 2 small children. The food was visually and tastefully flawless, starters, main course and desserts. The service was also quick and very friendly. A good address for a good meal.

Perfect! From the service, to the ambience and especially the food, everything can only be recommended.

Everything is really great. Not only do you have a great time there, but the surrounding area is also really suitable for families. Opportunity to play and splash around, chance to watch the colorful dragonflies by the stream... Service in a good mood and very friendly. Gladly again. For cyclists: easy to reach by bike if you want.

Very large self-service beer garden right on the airport approach path and on a noisy federal highway. Menu with few dishes, although many were no longer available. Grilled sausages, meatloaf and meatballs are served lukewarm and are not recommended.

Good food, but for me, with very exorbitant prices. They're really intense. Soup 11 euros...the staff is friendly, the parking lot is a disaster, the way there leads through a potholed road that urgently needs to be repaired.

We were there and had a drink, everything was okay except for the parking lot in front of the entrance, where the holes could be closed because accidents can happen.

Of course we had reserved a table here for 12 people. Were outside when the weather was nice. Service was very friendly. And the food was also really great. Highly recommended for a family meal.

We went there for coffee at the weekend. Since there was no more space in the restaurant, we were offered a place in front of the restaurant. COLD and uncomfortable. Under normal circumstances we would have left again, but since I wanted a coffee we stayed. The cake we ordered was below average and overpriced. Not recommendable.

Very nice location right on the hiking trail and close to the road. The outside terrace is very nice and shady on sunny days. Children's playground and limited parking spaces.

You'd better drive on! I drank a small cider and was involved in a discussion by the staff about how I should order larger alcoholic drinks, anything else would be "unmanly" and it would be better not to order anything at all. A place where you get reprimanded if you order the wrong drinks. A place to "not feel good" - apparently only "drinking" is welcome. Food was ok, nothing special with increased prices. Everything is self-service, no service in the beer garden. The tables were cleared very slowly. Children playing also cross the area, so it is always very restless and loud. The DJ on Father's Day was so bad that any Spotify playlist for €10 Spotify Premium would have done.

Ate at the restaurant on a Sunday. It was very loud and restless. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is no longer as good as it used to be. The food was tasty, but the lamb was lukewarm, the Duroc had the wrong sauce and no bacon fat as described on the menu. Asparagus soup very thin. The sea bream was good. There are several small things that reduce the difference from super to average. A pity.

Idyllic beer garden with self-service for picking up and taking away food and drinks. Prices have increased slightly compared to last year but are still acceptable. I had a 🍔 Buger jalapeno with fries, it was very tasty. The only thing to complain about is that the chairs and tables could have been glazed over the winter. Otherwise for a trip e.g. We recommend cycling or going for a walk if you're hungry or thirsty.

In itself a very nice Easter brunch, large selection and great taste. We constantly followed up and asked about satisfaction. Unfortunately, the visit still leaves a bad aftertaste. After we arrived and handed over our jackets, we were escorted to the table. 5 minutes later there was a nice greeting from the young waitress. We were asked if we wanted our Prosecco for a toast. We said yes and a short time later the Prosecco arrived. At this point we were not told that each Prosecco costs extra and is charged at €7. As you can imagine, there was a nasty surprise at the end. We were charged for more proseccos than we drank. An orange juice, which you also got at the buffet, was charged as Prosecco. In the end, 2 Proseccos were too many on the bill. Accordingly, people refrained from tipping and felt slightly ripped off. Nevertheless, we made the mistake of not complaining about the bill.

Very unhygienic, very little selection, price performance is not clear at all. The service wasn't really there to clear the plates, you even had to clear everything yourself. No wonder when the cook is also a waitress and doesn't speak German or English ✌🏼 difficult, unfortunately I won't be back anymore, I knew it from my childhood and I'm shocked at how bad it has become 🤯

A great location with excellent food and very friendly and quick staff! Not cheap, but value for money is definitely right 👍🏼 We were here again a week ago. The food is still fantastic and the friendliness of the staff comes from the heart, you can feel it!

We had Christmas dinner with a larger group. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as expected. The atmosphere was very nice - that was about the only positive thing. The white wine was unchilled - many drank it with ice cubes. We had game, which was lukewarm and even the red cabbage was the same temperature - getting that right is a work of art because it is usually always hot and aromatic. According to the menu that was printed for us, there were two different desserts. We were served one and when asked we were told that there was only one. While you were there, the candles were extinguished and the decorations on the tables were removed - that's not possible. All in all: disappointing and not necessarily recommended.

Uriges alterwürdiges Hotel im Niemandsland.

Die Vorspeise "Hausgemachte Tortellini mit Steinpilzfüllung, Parmesansauce und Trüffeln" war sehr gut. Die Gänsebrust mit Beilagen als Hauptgang war gut, allerdings war der Knödel hart wie ein Tennisball. Als Dessert gab es ein üppiges Stück Kuchen mit Marzipan, wieder sehr lecker. Ein gemischtes Bild, im Grunde gutes Essen, einzelne Komponenten könnten noch besser auf den Teller kommen, dann passen Preis und Leistung auch wieder zusammen.

Die Mönchbruch Mühle liegt auf der anderen Strassenseite vom Jagdschloss Mönchbruch. Hat einen großen Biergarten mit genügend Esstischen und Stühlen. Hat einen neugestalteten großen Spielplatz. Das Essen und Getränk muss man selbst bestellen und gleich bezahlen, dann bekommt man ein Piepsgerät, dass anfängt zu piepsen, wenn das Essen zum Abholen bereit steht. Sozusagen Selfservice !!! Das Essen ist lecker und eine große Portion. Verhungern wird man nicht. 😉

Super, super draussen. Essen fantastisch Lokation super. Ich werde des öfteren dort sein. Bei herrlichem Sommerwetter einfach toll. 100%ige Empfehlung auch von meinen Freunden.

Sehr nette, urige Location, mitten in der Natur! Entspannendes, ruhiges mediterranes Ambiente, gutes Essen und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Wir haben heute dort gefrühstückt und der Buffet-Tisch war sehr gut bestückt - mit alles, was sich das Herz begehrt. Die 2-Stunden-Zeit ist unter den Schatten gebenden Bäumen und Blumen ist wie auf Engelsflügeln davongeflogen. Ich kann es mit gutem Herzen weiterempfehlen, auch als Hochzeit-Location im dazu gehörenden Jagdschloss auf der anderen Straßenseite.

Ganz nett gemacht. Sehr unruhig da an der Hauptstraße hinter einer antiken Mauer gelegen. Ein Brunnen am Eingang zum Selbstbedienungsimbiss ist ungünstig gelegen. Im Imbiss sehr heiß und es richt nach Essen. Das Essen war okay. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt. Für ein Zwiebelschnitzel mit Pommes 12,50 € ist in Ordnung. Bitte keine Sterneküche erwarten sondern eher eine rustikale Imbissküche. Komme wieder.

Hier gibt es einen sehr schönen und großzügigen Biergarten mit Selbstbedienung. Mit einem Kinderwagen ist es etwas schwierig sich auf dem Kies zu bewegen. Angrenzend ist der sehr schön gestaltete Spielbereich für Kinder. Den Fluglärm muss man hinnehmen, wer am Mönchbruch unterwegs ist, wird davon nicht überrascht sein.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, toller Service und sehr gutes Essen. Auf jedenfall einen Ausflug wert. 🤗

Sehr gemütlich & tolles Essen. Nur die Portion war etwas weniger aber sehr leckeres Essen. Ich war mehrmals da & ich liebe da zu gehen nach eine kleine spazieren. Es ist sehr bekannt für die tolles Kuchen.

Sehr tolles rustikales Ambiente. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker, sehr zu empfehlen. Zudem kann man im Mönchsbruch wunderbar laufen, Radfahren, Wandern, Fotografieren, Tiere und Flugzeuge beobachten... Also ideal als Ausflugsziel für Jung und Alt.

Es war wieder ein Wunderbarer Sonntag Mittag. Nett in einer Nische gesessen, Qualitativ sehr gutes Essen, zuvorkommend e Bedienung und stimmiges Kosten-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Gerne wieder. Rechtzeitig reservieren.
