Schöner Biergarten mit Selbstbedienung. Tolles, schattiges Ambiente, inkl. Spielplatz für Kinder - ohne dass sich dieser störend auswirken würde (falls man damit ein Problem haben sollte). Nähere Natürlich Schutzgebiet lädt zu schönen Spaziergängen ein. Zwei Wermutstropfen: Fluglärm durch die Startbahn des Frankfurter Flughafens, und bei gutem Wetter relativ lange Schlange an der SB-Theke (deshalb auch 3 Sterne beim Service, wobei dieser absolut nett und hilfsbereit im SB-Bereich ist). Wir sind aber immer wieder genre dort, da sowohl Umgebung als auch die Lokalität einfach schon ist.

Das Essen ist durchschnittlich, nichts Besonderes. Mein Hauptproblem in diesem Lokal ist das Personal. Um die Mittagszeit machen die Angestellten Raucherpause. Sie können sitzen, stehen und rauchen, so viel sie wollen. Aber ausgerechnet am Tisch neben kleinen Babys? Absolut rücksichtslos gegenüber den zahlenden Gästen. Das Verrückte war, dass es vier Leute waren! Nicht einer hat sich gedacht: „Hey, seht ihr die Babys neben uns? Die können ja noch nicht mal laufen! Sollten wir vielleicht kurz woanders hinsetzen?“ Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt an die Geschäftsleitung: Sorgt dafür, dass euer Personal sich besser benimmt, wenn ihr wollt, dass sich eure jüngsten Gäste wohlfühlen.

Das Essen war sehr gut und die Preise sind auch ok. Wir hatten einen Burger mit Pommes und ein Schnitzel mit Pommes und jeweils Getränke. Vom Ambiente ist es auch sehr schön, jedoch wie bei so vielen Locations wird immer sehr wenig Augenmerk auf die Toiletten gelegt. Wären diese ordentlichen und es würde nicht so extrem streng riechen, wären es noch angenehmer.

Gutes Essen, große Portionen, leckerer Kuchen. Günstige Preise. Willkommener Ziel nach einer 10km Wanderung durch den Mönchbruch.

Waren Sonntags zum Frühstück hier. Große Auswahl es fehlt an nichts. Getränke sind alle inklusieve, Service ist flott und nett, Ambiente ist toll. Tolker Außenbereich, man sitzt schattig unter großen Bäumen und Schirmen. Komnen gerne wieder!

waren heute zum ersten mal hier. absolut fantastisch. ich weiß nicht, wann ich das letzte mal ein 0,4l bier für €3,00 getrunken habe. ambiente toll, preise toll, angebot toll...wir kommen auf jeden fall wieder.

Schönes Lokal für Familien mit Kindern, da die Kinder beim Wasserspielplatz spielen können. Leider lagen auf den Sitzbänken und Tischen Müll, sogar eine benutzte (gerollte) Windel, wobei hier wohl eher die Besucher des Lokals verantwortlich gemacht werden können, als die Besitzer. Bei so einem Lokal mit selfservice und eher moderat bis niedrigen Preisen, erwartet niemand große Küche... Wir haben einen fitnesssalat mit gebratenen Hähnchenstreifen für 10,50€ bestellt... Großer Teller mit vllt 100g Salat in Sauce ertränkt unter einem parniertem Hähnchenschnitzel versteckt. Das einzige was Fitnesscharakter hatte, war die wirklich unverschämt kleine Salatfraktion. Die Pommes der Kinder waren okay!

Leider keine hohe Qualität bei den Speisen, die Pommes waren fast noch roh und der mini Beilagensalat für 6,50€ war völlig in Soße ertränkt und bestand zu 90% aus Eisbergstrunk. Sehr Schade für so einen tollen Standort.

A beautiful location, already decorated for Christmas. Outside, there's an open fire and seating area. Inside, in the cozy miller's parlor, you can enjoy the delicious roast goose leg with red cabbage and dumplings by candlelight. A feast for the eyes and the palate. The service is also absolutely top-notch! Thank you so much!

A worthwhile late-summer excursion. While you can constantly hear the road, the ambiance makes up for it.

I sat in the beer garden and enjoyed a baked potato with salmon.

My favorite place to stop when I'm out cycling is the beer garden, called "Müllerstube." It's a very popular destination for hundreds of cyclists every day (only in good weather, of course).

We were there by bike and like to stop for a quick break. The outdoor area is quite large and also offers a great playground for children (unfortunately, no photos were taken). My grandson loves this playground. There are fine drinks and food available for self-service. In the fall and winter, we like to eat goose leg with dumplings there. There's a small stream flowing there, and it's a very idyllic place to sit.

Highly recommended! A great day-trip restaurant with a classic menu and good value for money.

You can sit in the lovely garden or comfortably inside. The cake was good, but the self-service system is a bit confusing. The staff is friendly, but you have to ask carefully.

A very nice, rustic location, surrounded by nature! Relaxing, tranquil Mediterranean ambiance, good food, and friendly staff. We had breakfast there today, and the buffet table was very well stocked—with everything your heart could desire. The two hours spent under the shady trees and flowers flew by like flying on angel wings. I wholeheartedly recommend it, even as a wedding location in the adjoining hunting lodge across the street.

A lovely place to relax and recharge after a walk, hike, or bike ride through the Mönchbruchwald forest or along the Mönchbruchpfad trail from Groß-Gerau. Refreshing drinks, all sorts of hearty treats, and coffee and cake are available – although, as befits a beer garden, it's self-service. The staff is dedicated, helpful, and friendly. And if you have kids with you, they'll also have fun in the adjacent, beautiful playground with its swings, zip line, and trampolines. And let's not forget the huge, knee-deep paddling pool with a wooden terrace and a small cocktail bar. And if that's not enough, you can even wade through the Gerätethsbach stream for a refreshing dip.

The last straw. I have no idea what came over that young blonde wedding planner, but sexually assaulting my husband during the meeting is the last straw. I'm truly speechless; I'll certainly never set foot in here again.

A very nice, large, and well-kept beer garden. If you ignore the street noise, it's an oasis by the old, crystal-clear Mühlbach stream.

We've been for breakfast twice now. The tablecloths were simply cut-off cloths. The window was covered in cobwebs and dirty. There were mosquitoes on the salmon. It should be covered this time of year. Even the sausage and cheese are all open. The quality leaves something to be desired. The atmosphere is nice, but everything could be a bit cleaner. It's a shame. Perhaps this could be considered.

After a pleasant walk, this is a great place to stop for a bite to eat. Nice seating. Self-service! Prices are OK, staff are very friendly. Always happy to come back.

Sunday, July 13, 2025. Sat on the beach with the grandchildren and family. The small beach area for the kids is okay. The beer garden is pleasantly shady. The reserved table on the beach area was covered in tape and covered in ketchup. Leftover dishes and food from previous users were still scattered on the table. Watching the food preparation staff redistribute the fries from one plate to another with their bare hands until the portions appeared even was pretty outrageous! After that, we decided not to eat there. The children enjoyed romping around in the murky water of the beach area, and the six of us went to another restaurant for dinner.

The food is good and the location is fantastic. Right next to the Mönchbruch nature reserve, behind the beer garden there's a children's play area with additional seating.

Very friendly staff, and the ordering process works flawlessly. You place your order and receive a receiver, and when it beeps, you can pick up your food.

Great for the whole family: a lovely playground with water for kids to splash around in. And a lovely beer garden 🍺 for parents. Located on the edge of the forest with a small stream that's very calming.

4 stars for the children's activities. The food, especially the schnitzel with green sauce, was 🤢. The potatoes had long since soaked, the schnitzel was more like a shoe sole, and the green sauce was inedible.

We had a family celebration with 21 people and were completely satisfied. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and very attentive; everything was perfect for a lovely evening. Thanks again to the team and the kitchen. We'll be back anytime.

Four of us went to the restaurant for a birthday dinner. We would have liked to have paid for a small bouquet of flowers and candles for the 91-year-old. Unfortunately, this wish was not granted. "Something like that isn't possible," we were told on the phone. The parking lot is a disgrace and also dangerous. Puddles, potholes, and poor lighting. It's very difficult for elderly guests with walkers, and the restaurant is also not suitable for people in wheelchairs due to the repeated steps. We were warmly welcomed by a waitress who had plenty of time, as we were the only guests. Three other guests arrived over the course of the evening. The menu suggests fine dining. The selection isn't extensive, but if the food is good, it's fine. The starter was a carpaccio of Faroese salmon and monkfish fillet. Very beautifully presented, but the taste was totally disappointing. The fish was so watery from defrosting that it had no flavor of its own. And all this for €16.90. Main courses: Porcini mushroom tortellini were mediocre and overpriced at €21.90. Fried beef fillet tips were Good to eat and OK. Veal fillet with ox cheeks wasn't a taste sensation that would make you cheer! €32.90. Asparagus wasn't properly "white" and was cooked sloppily. The hollandaise wasn't a real homemade sauce, but an inedible ready-made product with a lot of acidity. The entrecôte was cooked medium rare as I requested, but had no roasted aromas, no seasoning, and no flavor. Only the potatoes tasted really good. €41.80. Conclusion: Beer garden yes - restaurant no. The price/performance ratio is completely out of whack. I could have gotten much better food for my €300. The restaurant still has the status of being something special and upscale - unfortunately, that's not the case these days.

Hello dear employees, I have to tell you it's beautiful in the beer garden, always an experience, especially for the children. But your wooden “play frame” is not safe for the children. There are screws coming out, my son injured himself really badly yesterday and his head was bleeding, really bad... There are wood chips sticking out and I always had a splinter in my finger last year. Repair or glaze?? Or renew? Something has to be done, it's not a situation or get rid of the thing completely! It would also be quite good if there was a fence at the back of the trampoline by the stream, the children always want to go into the water, that's not so safe but it's not half as bad. But you don't have to complain about Eman. I would have sprinkled sand on the trampoline and towards the cable car and swing city wood but good. And people please please there are so many wasps flying around, it's such a nuisance for the children, please put wasp protection glasses or emergence containers on the roof. And makes your guests satisfied and happier, so everyone can enjoy more peace and quiet with wonderful food 🙏🙏. Please always take a look. There used to be panes of glass in the sand. I think there is still a lot that needs to be done before everything is really child-safe, but I think it will be pretty good. Hence this criticism of you. Otherwise you really have nothing to complain about. The food is super good!!! And of course the location and around it too

Good home cooking, great atmosphere

We've been there twice now in February. Ordered there by phone. Very nice lady on the phone ☎️. Check in very easy. The rooms are all newly renovated and everything is very clean. The breakfast menu is very rich, there is something for everyone and there is a fireplace lit in the morning. We will definitely stay there again next time. The Euro Möbeltransport team from Hamburg

The hotel is ok. The food (according to the description “fine cuisine”) is a joke. An original Wiener Schnitzel is the size of two children's hands and dry with much more breading than meat. The “fried potatoes” were at best heated potato slices, not to mention the exorbitantly high price. In return, you can get a decent beef steak in many restaurants. The mill grill is on my blacklist.

We were there on Sunday and ordered the traditional goose for 4 with all the side dishes. Pleasant atmosphere, wonderful service and delicious cuisine. They managed to make our experience memorable (even though their heater didn't quite work) but in the end it didn't matter

We went here for lunch with our family today on the occasion of the third Advent. The food tasted extremely good and the service was very attentive and tried hard - there wouldn't have been anything to complain about if it hadn't been so cold. The heaters in the restaurant didn't work and despite the mulled wine that the boss gave us on the house, we were unfortunately a bit cold. The staff even offered us additional jackets, but still a bit unsightly.

The restaurant and hotel have a very pleasant atmosphere. Is cozy. Tastes are different, so I'll give my personal opinion: The menu card was too small for me. Far too little choice there. The menu sounds more “upscale” (cranberries with veal schnitzel, for example). I think there were only 4 sides of food there, the rest was drinks. I then put together a menu myself. Didn't find fries on the menu. But they did! I ordered normal cream sauce, without anything. Also came without everything. But there was something wrong with the taste. After other people tried it, they said it must have been deglazed with white wine or something. But it wasn't mentioned... Since I don't know alcohol, I unfortunately didn't like it. It was probably due to the upscale atmosphere. So it wasn't my cup of tea and probably won't be a second visit.

Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of enjoying the fried tips of beef fillet and veal fillet in the Mönchbruch Mühle restaurant. The meat was perfectly fried, incredibly tender and harmonized wonderfully with the wild mushroom cream sauce. The Mediterranean grilled vegetables, pesto and mashed potatoes rounded off the dish. But what really made this evening unforgettable was the exceptional service. The top service that the team offers here is simply remarkable - attentive, friendly, fast and always professional. As a guest you feel completely pampered and valued. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also warm and inviting. I'll definitely be back!

We were very impressed with the restaurant. We were particularly impressed by the service. I would describe it as authentically nice and very attentive. For me, this deserves a top grade and is, for me, one of the best in Rhine-Main. Chapeau. The food was great - very tasty and well balanced. We would be happy to come back for this great combination of service and quality. Half a star deducted for the worst cappuccino in a long time. Here I would strongly recommend booking a round of optimization and training. To the management: go to the Cafe Brühmarkt in Frankfurt and use that as a benchmark. :-) Another half point deduction for the men's toilet - in terms of hygiene and condition it doesn't do justice to the otherwise excellent overall impression.

The mill is always our starting point after a long walk or long hike in the Mönchbruch nature reserve. In the large garden with plenty of seating, you can relax and enjoy whatever you have picked up yourself from the mill. Directly adjacent is the upscale Hotel Restaurant Mönchhof. There is now a fire bowl and another fireplace outside the mill, where you can warm yourself with a mulled wine (or punch/coffee/tea) while cracking the burning wood. This makes sitting outside fun even in the cool season.

The Mönchbruchmühle is beautifully located, right at the entrance to the nature reserve, with plenty of space and a nice atmosphere, including outside. However, we decided not to eat a piece of cake there because the selection at the self-service cake buffet wasn't exactly amazing and there were also a lot of flies buzzing around the cakes. Here you should think about how you can cover the cakes with a fly bell, otherwise it is really unappetizing. So unfortunately we left without eating anything. Too bad.

Tarte flambée is good. Albeit ultimately overpriced. 10,- for comparison for a pizza.

If it wasn't the food that enchanted me, then the deep peace and relaxation in the rooms. Despite a large dining room, the tables are not only separated by the beams, the wood look and the numerous design elements also create a special atmosphere. The service was extremely courteous and friendly, and the food was simply fantastic. There is a large free parking lot in front of it (The parking lot continues on the other side of the street and even further around the corner. There is a sleepy duck pond nearby and fantastic cycling and hiking opportunities through the countryside, but don't let the planes put you off.

Saturday evening, 3 adults and 2 small children. The food was visually and tastefully flawless, starters, main course and desserts. The service was also quick and very friendly. A good address for a good meal.

Very large self-service beer garden right on the airport approach path and on a noisy federal highway. Menu with few dishes, although many were no longer available. Grilled sausages, meatloaf and meatballs are served lukewarm and are not recommended.
