We were absolutely thrilled with the restaurant at Mömax! The service was very friendly and attentive, the food was freshly prepared and delicious. The value for money is truly excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting—perfect for a short break while furniture shopping. We'd love to come back and highly recommend the restaurant!

And today, May 26, 2025, a similar situation happened at breakfast. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:05 a.m. After 15 minutes, a female colleague pointed out to the male employee that my wife had come forward to order. The male employee responded with a "yes, yes," even though the restaurant was far from full. We ordered our "large classic" breakfast at 9:25 a.m., and it arrived at 9:40 a.m. Our table neighbors arrived at 9:30 a.m. and hadn't ordered by 9:55 a.m. Meanwhile, the front-of-house employee was drinking coffee, which suggests he'd lost track of things. A female colleague then assisted the employee from around 10 a.m. Summary: Great value for money. But the kitchen team and the front-of-house employees need at least an hour of support starting at 9:00 a.m.!

A crying kitchen worker who is solely responsible for preparing the food and washing up. A head chef who smiles and chats with the staff and casually strolls through the place. A server who walks past customers three times and ignores guests. It's a shame there's no recognition for employees these days. Despite the pressure the kitchen assistant was under, the food was excellent and arrived hot on the table very quickly. Great respect to them.

We were there at 2 p.m. this week. The male employee also explained to us that the kitchen was closed. Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated incident, as the reviews suggest. It's a shame, this should be communicated on the website; otherwise, getting something to eat there is a complete lottery. On top of that, there are quite a few menu options after 4 p.m.!

Zero customer service. We were there at 4:50 PM, the restaurant was open until 5:30 PM. And then they tell you with a grin on their faces that the kitchen normally closes at 5:00 PM, but today it's 4:50 PM!

Food is OK. When we wanted to pay, we were told the amount and the "note" about what amount should be put into the EC card terminal for tips. Moment. I like to give tips and always do. That's what I'm saying, not the waitress. I found it very bold.

The tagliatelle with shrimp is not edible! No white wine, no spices, no sauce, just watery sauce. It wasn't tagliatelle either, it was sticky tagliatelle! 0 stars. Schnitzel was good. And even though we were sitting in the farthest corner, it was really cold.

We ordered 2 portions of spaghetti Napoli. The dish did not correspond to the picture in the menu. We only got spaghetti with tomato sauce (no ruccola, no chopsticks and no Grana Padana cheese). When we said that something was missing, the waitress said: “Oh, she forgot that. Well, there’s no cheese in the children’s portion anyway.” Then the dish was completed with the chopsticks and arugula.

Since it was introduced with service, prices have literally exploded. The food is only acceptable with vouchers. Pepsi 3.60, beer over 4 euros, pizza 10-12 euros Crazy for frozen food... In a restaurant I can get it cheaper and fresh in Franconia. It may be that the prices are suitable for Munich but not for Franconia.

I've usually been there twice a month with my partner for a good two years. Until about six weeks ago I was really excited about it, cheap, easy, good. After shopping, there's nothing left to do at home. The ladies in service are always very pleasant. Apparently something has changed in the kitchen. What I experienced today goes beyond the scope of even simple gastronomy. As almost always, I ordered the schnitzel. When I started eating, I noticed that everything was swimming in fat. The waitress asked if everything was okay and showed her, by now two napkins were soaked with grease. I said, let me keep eating it. Unfortunately, fat continued to leak out of the bladder of the second schnitzel and I stopped eating halfway through. While clearing away there were still words of regret. I didn't ask for compensation or anything like that. Shortly afterwards the waitress comes to the table and says, would you like a coffee or cappuccino, the price for the schnitzel cannot be changed, said the colleague. I had never seen this one before. There I was, after 45 years. more than annoyed in the hotel industry! Such a dish would have been more than embarrassing for me. Of course I would have thought about the health of the guest and not the price of the dish. Ultimately, THREE napkins full of grease would have told anyone with even a little experience in the catering industry that the guest couldn't possibly eat them. I couldn't either! French fries and breading soaked in fat. I didn't ask for a reduction or say I wanted to pay less. That came from the gentleman (service manager?), who would have paid for everything as usual (never had a complaint). When you see behavior like that, I say send the gentleman to a few seminars and he always gets lunch like I had today. Let's see what he says about it. The "chef" my partner had the Cesar salad, roasted aromas are something good, white turkey meat is completely unsexy. They won't see me again any time soon.

We were there for dinner today. I wanted grilled pork steak: it's no longer available. Then grilled chicken fillet: it's no longer available. Then I decided on lasagne. A piece measuring approx. 10x10 cm, 3cm high came. Half the plate was full of tomato sauce (probably so that the lasagne wouldn't be so lost on the plate). The edges of the lasagna were hard and unappetizing. The apple spritzer (0.5l for €4.60) was not filled to the calibration mark. Would give 0 points if I could. We used to enjoy eating there. But a new concept doesn't necessarily make a better restaurant. In any case, they won't see us again.

I wasn't sure about paying, so I asked straight away whether it could be done by card. The employees were super nice and had no problem with the question like some others. My drink came quickly and the food arrived after 10 minutes. It was really tasty and the price was really okay. I would definitely do it again!!

If it were possible, I would prefer to give 0 stars. We were there recently as a family with a 2 year old child and wanted to order food before we start shopping. We wanted to briefly show our child the playroom there and so politely said that we would be ready in a moment and would order. When we went to the counter two minutes later and wanted to ask if we could order now, the incredibly rude customer said, "No, I was just at your table, you wait now, you order later." Right from the start The employee was incredibly rude and rude. We packed our things and left and will definitely not be visiting there again. Allowing such unqualified and incompetent people to work there is questionable. There is a reason why the metaphor “The customer is king” exists, but Mömax Restaurant still has to learn this.

Craziness First we wait at the table for over 49 minutes. With totally dirty menus! Until the waitress explained it was busy (3 cellars present for about 25 tables) After repeated requests, it came!!! the guests who arrived AFTER us - a Viennese schnitzel - but not the pork as ordered! But chicken... which we don't like and didn't order! The staff then wanted to charge for that - even though we left it! After a short clarification it was then cancelled!

Miserabel: Tische schmutzig, nach Aufforderung wurde einmal drüber geschmiert. Mayonnaise liegt auf den heißen Pommes und läuft wie Wasser raus, dann ist sie auch noch abgelaufen. Die Qualität ist gerade noch ausreichend, dafür wurde die Menge reduziert und der Preis erhöht. Wir besuchen dieses "Restaurant" seit Jahren, früher war es gut bis sehr gut. Irgendwann hat ein sehr "intelligenter Mensch" an der Qualitätsschraube gedreht, aber leider überdreht. Heute war es das letzte Mal.

Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und modern. Bestellt wurden 2 Gerichte. Tortellini mit Spinat (vegetarisch) fur 7,90 und Cevapcici. Die Tortellini waren ok. Nichts besonderes. Die 4 Cevapcici aus heimischen Schlachtbetrieben waren sehr lecker. Jedoch steht auf der Karte mit Grilltomaten und einem Senfragout... Es wurde allerdings nur mit einem Klecks Senf und Ketchup auf einem Salatblatt serviert. Die Pommes waren etwas wenig. Alles in allem war das essen ehr mittlerer Standart. Die Servicekraft war sehr jung, etwas leise und schüchtern. Leider wurde ein Getränk falsch geliefert, wurde aber anstandslos ausgetauscht. 2,5 Sterne

On August 28, 2025, at approximately 12:18 PM (invoice no. 1475), I was in the cafeteria. I took a cup and filled my cappuccino at the vending machine, but unfortunately, I filled the wrong cup. The cashier pointed out that it wasn't right, but when I politely asked if I could just take a new cup and make a new cappuccino, I simply received a curt "No" as a response – without any explanation. I think a friendlier tone, or at least an explanation, would have been appropriate in such a situation. Especially in the service area, I expect respectful and helpful interaction with guests.

We had our Christmas party at Gasthaus Stangl for the second time today. What can I say? Superb service, fantastic food, and lots of fun bowling. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
