Köstliches indisches Essen, perfekt gewürzt. Kommen Sie mit großem Appetit, denn es macht richtig satt. Wenn ich in der Nähe wohnen würde, käme ich öfter. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, keine lästigen Insekten und das Zwitschern der Vögel in der Nähe ist sehr schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, man wird nicht gehetzt, sondern ist ruhig und respektvoll. Der Preis ist angesichts der Portionsgrößen absolut angemessen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, wenn Sie die Möglichkeit dazu haben.

Wir hatten unser Klassentreffen mit etwa 40 Personen hier und waren rundum sehr zufrieden. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, auf Fragen kam immer schnell eine Rückmeldung. Der Pavillon im Garten war schön vorbereitet und perfekt für unsere Feier. Schön war auch, dass wir unsere eigene Musik abspielen durften. Das Essen war lecker, der Service sehr freundlich und besonders gut fanden wir, dass wir ganz entspannt lange bleiben durften. Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Abend, alle haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt!

Wir haben uns nach langer Autofahrt spontan für dieses Restaurant entschieden und es nicht bereut. Das Essen war super lecker und vielfältig. Wenn wir nicht über 7 h weit weg wohnen würden, dann wären wir definitiv öfter zum Essen dort.

Wir lieben indisches Essen und waren zum ersten Mal im Moksha. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Der Service ist sehr freundliche und aufmerksam. Unsere Plätze im Wintergarten waren gemütlich. Wir hatten beide Hühnchen und beide Gerichte waren einfach großartig! Zuvor gab es als Vorspeise Samosa Chat und einmal normales sowie garlic Naan. Auch diese waren sehr lecker. Dazu ein Kingfisher, Herz was willst Du mehr!

Der Ort strahlt Liebe und Frieden aus. Das Essen verdient mehr Anerkennung. Und die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist unbeschreiblich. Ich empfehle das Moksha Restaurant wärmstens.

Das Essen war einfach köstlich, sowohl das Butter Chicken als auch das Naan! Wir haben über Wolt bestellt, und der Lieferfahrer war unglaublich höflich. Vielen Dank nochmal! Sobald ich wieder fit bin, komme ich auf jeden Fall persönlich ins Restaurant. 🤍 Nur eine kleine Anmerkung an das Restaurant: Bei Wolt steht nicht, dass Reis zum Butter Chicken dazugehört. Es wäre hilfreich, das in die Beschreibung aufzunehmen. 🫶

Wir waren gestern zu zweit beim Mittagessen. Bei herrlichem Wetter konnten wir draussen auf der Terrasse sitzen und einen sehr guten Service und noch besseres indisches Essen geniessen. Jeweils Vorspeise und Hauptgericht. Alles vier Gerichte haben herausragend gescheckt. Tolles indisches Essen. Das ist sehr empfehlenswert. Katastrophaler Service und falsche Abrechnung! Trotz Absprache war das Essen viel zu scharf. Der Versuch, es mit Joghurt zu retten, scheiterte, und danach bekamen wir ein völlig falsches Gericht. Gemeinsam essen war unmöglich. ​Beim Bezahlen kam der nächste Schock: Auf der Rechnung standen teurere Gerichte als bestellt – das ist reinste Abzocke!

Das ist eine super Lokation, wenn man indisches Essen mag! Wir gehen gerne hin! Oder lassen uns auch mal was liefern. Essen ist lecker und schön angerichtet! Manchmal gibt es Verständigungsprobleme beim bestellen, liegt aber nicht auf Unaufmerksamkeit, sondern weil das Personal noch nicht unser Dialektik versteht. Falls es zu Fehlern kommt, bekommt man eine aufrichtige Entscheidung. Daher meine Empfehlung, unterstützt das Restaurant, dass es uns lage erhalten bleibt.

Sehr gutes Essen (es gibt auch viel Auswahl für Leute, die nicht gerne scharf essen). Freundliche Bedienung. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist, dass Schweizer bei Kartenzahlung 4% Aufschlag zahlen müssen. Es wäre fairer, wenn dies im Voraus kommuniziert würde.

Das beste indische Essen jemals ! Wir waren schon bestimmt bei 10-15 verschiedenen Indern und bei Moksha hat es uns am besten geschmeckt! Auch der Besitzer ist sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Jedes Mal wenn ich im Schwarzwald bin komme ich gerne wieder!

Wir haben nun schon 2 mal bei Moksha gegessen. Beide mal war das Essen super lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier gibt es das beste indische Essen in der Gegend.

Das war eines der besten und authentischsten indischen Gerichte, die ich bisher in Europa gegessen habe! Sie verwenden nicht einfach nur Standardsaucen, die überall draufgekippt werden, sondern jedes Gericht schmeckt anders. Außerdem werden echte Gewürze verwendet, nicht einfach nur Chili dazugegeben und dann als „scharf“ bezeichnet. Die Desserts waren allerdings nicht gut. Ich würde die Gulab Jamun nicht empfehlen, sie haben mir ziemlich schlecht geschmeckt.

Ich war mit meiner Freundin dort. Hervorragendes Essen, Preis Leistung stimmt, netter Service.

Wir kamen spät abends in dieser Stadt an, glücklicherweise war dieses Restaurant noch geöffnet. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt waren wir die letzten und einzigen Besucher. Wir wurden sofort empfangen und sehr schnell bedient. Beim zweiten Mal war das Restaurant voll, aber auch alles war in Ordnung. Sehr große Portionen und alles ist sehr lecker. Wir haben es wirklich genossen. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Ich habe in den vier Jahren, die ich in Deutschland lebe, kein besseres indisches Essen gegessen.

We went out for dinner today, just the two of us. It's a definite 10/10! The food: 1) Butter Chicken 2) Chicken Tikka Masala was absolutely delicious! The chicken was the best I've ever had. The staff was also very friendly. The owner even personally asked us if everything was alright. So we could honestly say, yes, everything was amazing! Come eat here and see for yourselves. We'll definitely be back.

If you haven’t been to Moksha yet, you are missing out on the most authentic Indian culinary experience in the entire region. This isn't just a restaurant; it’s a destination that everyone needs to experience at least once! The food here is a masterclass in spice and soul. We started with the Pani Puri.. an absolute explosion of tangy freshness and the Mirchi Bajji, which had the perfect kick of heat. You cannot leave without trying the Tangdi Kabab; it’s incredibly succulent and charred to perfection. For the main course, the Biryani is aromatic and rich, paired perfectly with the best Garlic Naan I’ve ever tasted.. pillowy, buttery, and fresh out of the oven. We finished the night with the Gajar Halwa, which was warm, comforting, and the perfect sweet end to an unforgettable meal. Moksha brings the true heart of India to the Black Forest. If you are anywhere in the region, make the trip. Your first visit will definitely not be your last. Enjoy and keep up the amazing work!

We celebrated New Year’s Eve at Moksha Indian Restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience. The food quality was outstanding—truly authentic and delicious. The staff and the owner were incredibly welcoming, and the hospitality was at its peak throughout the evening. The ambience is warm, spacious, and very inviting, making it a perfect place to celebrate special occasions. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in the Black Forest.

I've been there several times. The food is always delicious and perfectly seasoned. But the real star is the green chili sauce/paste. It goes perfectly with every dish.

We were a group of eight at Moksha and ordered a wide variety of dishes – and everything was absolutely delicious. Whether curries, appetizers, or the various naan breads: every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. The naan was a particular highlight – soft, aromatic, and simply perfect. The restaurant was almost full that evening; you could tell it was a very busy weekend. Despite the hustle and bustle, the waiters were attentive, friendly, and helpful. That's exactly the kind of service you want on a busy evening. Our company staff party was a complete success thanks to the fantastic food and relaxed atmosphere. The cocktails were also excellent – ​​creative, delicious, and especially attractive with the happy hour flat rate for just €5.90. Unbeatable value for money. In short: Dosa – a must-try! The food was outstanding, the portions generous, the service friendly, and the atmosphere lively. Despite the busy schedule, the team did a fantastic job.

We visited the restaurant using the Schlemmerblock (a discount voucher booklet). We noticed the waiters' disappointment right away. In addition to the two dishes we ordered, we were also recommended the naan bread, which we then ordered separately, but unfortunately never received. When we asked again later, another waiter told us we had to order it before the meal, as it took time to prepare. We still didn't get it. The food was tasty, but the portions were very meager for two people. The butter chicken was a small bowl with a lot of sauce and exactly three small pieces of meat. The small bowl of rice that came with it (for both of us!) was even more disappointing. There was no cutlery on the table, so we had to help ourselves at the next table because no waiter came to our table. At least the naan bread wasn't added to the bill at the end. Although we did get a free meal with the Schlemmerblock, we constantly felt like unwelcome customers. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant if this is the standard experience there.

Great food, friendly staff, but sometimes it just takes too long (1-2 hours).

As a connoisseur and lover of Indian cuisine, I have to say this was a bitter disappointment. The food tasted very Europeanized and not very authentic. Furthermore, the starter took far too long, with a 25-minute wait for a simple soup. There weren't many lentils in it, but there was plenty of broth with cream. The main course had too soft a texture and wasn't as spicy as advertised.

We ate at the restaurant this evening as a couple. The food was really fresh and delicious. Great Indian cuisine.

I must say this place is a gem.Just planned to have diner at an Indian restaurant and found Moksha near to me. I ordered yogi thali and Chicken dishes along with mango lassi for my family.All the dishes were fresh and yummy. Mango lassi was delicious.Chicken was soft and tender. Paneer was also very soft and kofta just melt in your mouth.I also had a brief talk with the Owner My Ram and his team.He is a nice and very welcoming person. This restaurant is highly recommended 👌. I would encourage anyone who would like to eat authentic Indian dishes to visit Moksha.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 restaurant and amazing Indian food.

Moksha Baba Restaurant is a real bargain at lunchtime. I had the chicken mashed potatoes, which was absolutely delicious, as was the mango lassi. The naan was full of garlic, but it barely tasted like garlic, which is a shame. The waiter was very friendly, the most handsome Indian I've ever seen, no homosexuality. A few animals are kept in front of the restaurant: pigeons and capercaillie, kept in top-notch conditions. There was one minor issue: the first page of my menu was extremely sticky.

We received a friendly and welcoming welcome. Even though the restaurant was still closed, we were able to order a drink. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive. The food took a while to arrive, but it was very tasty. The wait was worth it. The value for money is still good here. We'll definitely be back next time we're here.

Absolutely amazing place!! We've stopped here for a meal after a long ride from Prague and I mistakenly chose something too spicy. The stuff noticed me struggling with my dish and offered to change it for free. I did not expect that at all and we really appreciated the gesture so much!! The food served here is authentic indian food with good choice of dishes :) Paneer tikka masala and veg. Korma is worth a try !!! On weekends they serve Dosa from 12:00 to 16:00 pm. Ambient with the friendly staff is a cherry on the cake ;) We will definitely visit them again....

We dined at Moksha several times. The staff and owner are very friendly and accommodating. Guests feel well looked after from start to finish. The food is truly excellent. The food is confused- all Northern dishes have Chettinad and Southern flavours- like when you add chettinad paste from the Indian supermarket while preparing your Kadhai paneer or Rohan Josh. Naan is essentially tandoori roti, not Naan by any measures. If the same food is relabelled as chettinad paneer/mutton- it will be great. India is an entire subcontinent with each region having it's own beautiful food. Mis labelling one preparation for another is just not okay The ambience is definitely very beautiful and subtle- unlike the other loud Indian restraunts.

We ended up in Villingen-Schwenningen due to a last minute plan to black forest and everything else close to the places of interest are already booked or extremely expensive .And thank god we did that to discover this Indian restaurant gem . Amazing place to eat Indian food .Man ! I will never forget the taste of Shahi Baingan. All dishes are served with rice and that's really makes it more worth going there . Nice friendly environment and people . My best wishes to Mr Ram a fine gentleman who received us very well .

I had the pleasure of enjoying Indian cuisine here and it was simply amazing. The dishes were incredibly authentic and rich in flavors. Fresh naan bread was served with it, which harmonized perfectly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. It really was like a little trip to India!

We spontaneously set up there on Sunday. The place was almost empty as we arrived at a rather unusual time. We didn't see much of the interior as we sat in the very spacious and pretty winter garden. The service was very friendly. We had a starter that came really quickly, along with warmed plates. The main courses were soooo delicious. Everything was super fresh and extremely delicately seasoned. Even the rice was nice and fragrant with cardamom flowers and star anise in it - you can't get that in every Indian restaurant. Unfortunately we had to forego Lassis because we were all so full. We will definitely come back when we are in Schwenningen again. If you like Indian food you will love it here! Clear recommendation from us.
