Kurt genuss&keramik in Villingen-Schwenningen

Although we didn’t know German, the lady boss was very welcoming and accomodating. She could speak both Chinese and English, and helped explain and recommend us some menu items. Ended up getting a sweet Dutch baby, plus a platter of a variety of cheeses, meats, and bread to try. Portion was big, couldn’t finish between 2 people. Left feeling very full and satisfied. It appears that the space is also for pottery painting that you could do while having a coffee/drinks, which seems to require reservation. Although, we went in just for the food. Definitely recommend this cafe and would come back again!

Very nice atmosphere, friendly service and very good, somewhat “fancy” food, no run-of-the-mill dishes. Painting ceramics was very relaxing.

I went to breakfast with friends. It was very tasty, especially the bread and spreads. Additional requests were gladly fulfilled. Very friendly atmosphere and soooo great dishes. Gladly again.

From a warm welcome to a nice farewell. Everything can only be described as perfect. The combination of good food and an outstanding feel-good atmosphere is rare to find. The menu leaves nothing to be desired and we can also find lactose, caffeine-free oat milk, gluten vegetarians here. And if not, you can make anything possible. Since I also come from the catering industry, here's another well-intentioned “smart-ass” tip that shouldn't detract from the positive overall picture. Please also use larger cutlery for breakfast. Our practical trip with 20 people was a real highlight! The location is beautifully and artistically designed - you immediately feel comfortable and inspired. The quiet atmosphere was perfect for being creative. The selection of ceramic pieces was large, so that each of us found something suitable to paint, and there was definitely no shortage of fun. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly staff who patiently explained everything to us. The organization and reservation went absolutely smoothly and uncomplicated - everything was well prepared, even for our large group. The range of food and drinks rounded off the day perfectly. I can only warmly recommend a visit – an all-round successful trip!

The restaurant is lovingly furnished, the service is very friendly and relaxed, and the food is excellent! For around 25 euros per person we each had 1 dish and 3 drinks.

Unfassbar lecker von der Vorspeise (Röstkartoffelsalat mit Zitrone) über die Hauptgerichte (Kartoffelknödel mit Pfifferlingen, Röstirolle und Steinsalz-Steak) bis zum Dessert (hausgemachtes Eis und Pastel de Mata) war alles exzellent zubereitet, gewürzt und serviert. Der Service war hervorragend und überraschte uns am Schluss noch mit einem köstlichen Abschluss aufs Haus - ein toller Abend und wir kommen bestimmt öfters wieder!!

The menu offers fresh, regional cuisine, served on handmade earthenware. Every dish is a visual and taste highlight. From the amuse gueule to the pear carpaccio to the eggplant cordon bleu to the final, balanced espresso, my menu that evening was pure enjoyment. The combination of fine aromas paired with the attractive presentation on handmade dishes makes eating here a multi-sensory experience. Heute waren wir dort zum Mittagessen. Erstmal falsche Getränke bekommen, dann komplett das falsche Essen. Der Mitarbeiter stand vor uns und hat uns gesagt, dass wir genau das bestellt haben. Geht noch? Wir sitzen drei Leute von dem und wissen nicht was wir bestellten oder was? Anstatt Cola haben meine Kinder Spezi bekommen, weil Cola nicht gibt und uns einfach ohne zu informieren Spezi gebracht wurde. Das konnten wir aber noch verkraften. Dann steht es in der Karte 0,5 Radler kam aber 0,3. Sogar das ist ok wenn es richtig abgerechnet ist. Aber dann anstatt Bolognese haben sie uns irgendwelches anderes Nudel Gericht gebracht und das zwei mal und uns wurde gesagt dass wir das bestellt haben und Kinder Bolognese haben die gar nicht obwohl es in der Karte steht. Bei der Bestellung wurde nicht gesagt dass sie Bolognese nicht haben, sie haben einfach anderes Gericht serviert und fanden das ok. Keine einziges Wort Entschuldigung habe ich gehört. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher abgerechnet wurde auch falsch.

Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner... I can recommend everything. In a great atmosphere you will receive very friendly service. There is something for everyone & the menu is anything but standard.

Definitely not the last time! MARCH APRIL After a successful pottery course in the neighboring pottery, my mum and I chose a nice place outside for dinner. To toast with a well-mixed Aperol Spritz. (Which would even exist here without alcohol) For dinner I had a roast beef steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables and my mom had the black pepper chicken with fried potatoes and salad. I can highly recommend both dishes! Very, very tasty... the little cake for dessert was also perfect. The menu itself is really great, as there are no standard dishes to choose from! The humorous and friendly service was also very pleasant for us. We will be back!!! MAY Today we were able to paint our pottery ceramic pieces. In the relaxation area, very cozy and great atmosphere. Afterwards, of course, we had a delicious meal and were once again completely satisfied.

The food was tasty, the service was friendly, but there was room for improvement in some things. We only got a spoon for the buoillabaisse when we asked, and we didn't ask if we wanted something else to drink. For the third drink we had to order at the counter because no one from the service was visible anymore. Still a great location where we will definitely go again

Die Atmosphäre zwischen toller Keramik , Bildern und bunter Einrichtungen zu sitzen ist ein uriges, wohltuendes und entspannendes Gefühl. Ein Wohlfühlplatz. So ein frisches , regionales, ganz anderes und sooo leckeres Essen gibt es selten. Im Sommer kann man im Garten unter Bäumen sitzen im Kerzenschein. Das ganze Team besteht aus ganz tollen, freundlichen und humorvollen Menschen. Ich komme immer wieder gerne.

Super schönes Keramik Geschirr, leckeres Essen was will man mehr. Das Shakshuka war hervorragend. Man kann dort Töpferkurse machen bzw auch getöpfertes bemalen, sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Leider kamen wir unbewusst zu spät zum Frühstück.

We would like to say thank you very much for a great evening with delicious food and very fun service! I think the casual atmosphere is great; you feel like you're sitting in the hostess' living room. The bacon butter was so delicious that I would have liked to have a whole jar of it & the lentils with spaetzle took me back from my childhood. We are already looking forward to next time!

Der Service war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und mit Herz. Das Essen war sehr gut. Man schmeckt bei den verwendeten Zutaten, daß diese sehr hochwertig sind. Ich bin im Internet und dann auch über die Empfehlung von Freunden auf das Kurt aufmerksam geworden. Das Restaurant ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Tolle Speisekarte, sehr hohe Produktqualität, gute Weine, alles liebevoll angerichtet. Das Brot vom Gruß aus der Küche war mit das beste Brot, das ich je gegessen habe. Insgesamt sticht das Kurt hier in der Gegend wirklich heraus. Wer schnell essen möchte, ist hier nicht richtig aufgehoben. Alles ist frisch zubereitet und so schmeckt es auch. Aber frische Zubereitung benötigt nun einmal auch mehr Zeit als die schnelle Küche;-). Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Sicherlich auch mal zum Frühstück.

Das Restaurant Kurt hat mich begeistert. Es strahlt eine einzigartige Atmosphäre aus. Die Inneneinrichtung und das freundliche Personal trägt maßgeblich dazu bei, dass man sich sofort wohl und willkommen fühlt. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist nicht groß, aber dass was geboten wird, ist von hervorragender Qualität. Die Speisen sind nicht nur authentisch, sondern auch absolut köstlich. Die Qualität und Frische der Zutaten ist unübersehbar und verleiht den Gerichten eine besondere Note. Eine Mischung aus Kulinarik und Kunst ist eine Bereicherung für die Stadt.

Wir haben zum zweiten Mal vor Ort gegessen. Das erste mal sowei das zweite mal waren mit allem sehr zufrieden! Sehr zu empfehlen und super Variationen.

Hier hin sind wir von Freunden eingeladen worden. Wir waren noch nie hier und kannten es auch gar nicht. Umso grösser war die positive Überraschung über das was wir dann vorgefunden hatte. Hier kommen wir mit Sicherheit wieder hin. angenehmes Ambiente super Service und sehr gutes Essen.
