We got a place for four at short notice, even though we came during rush hour in the evening. Great burgers and homemade sodas. Very nicely furnished with a view of the kitchen. Service was very accommodating. Gladly again.

Good amount of food for your money, and the burger I had was great. Cozy atmosphere that wasn't too loud despite a fairly full house, we'll definitely come again.

I'm American and this was easily the best burger I've had anywhere in Europe since moving here 7 years ago. Juicy, fresh and most importantly NOT over-seasoned, which is the biggest problem with burgers you get in most European restaurants. Cool vibe and friendly service. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely great. The restaurant is quick and easy to find. The staff is very friendly, special requests are no problem, and there are painting supplies for children. Food and drinks are recommended. The hard-working chefs whirl around in a kitchen that you can look into through a large window. We really liked it and we'll be back

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved my visit to Moe's Steakhouse in Heidelberg! The atmosphere is stylish and cozy – the perfect setting for a relaxed dinner. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the menu leaves nothing to be desired. I would particularly like to highlight the steak: cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor - you can immediately tell that only high-quality ingredients are used here. The side dishes and wine selection were also excellent and rounded off the experience perfectly. If you are looking for an excellent steak in Heidelberg, you have come to the right place. Absolute recommendation!

Super tasty burgers in a great atmosphere.

The service was not very attentive and not particularly friendly. Unfortunately, the reservation I made over the phone simply wasn't stored. Very unfortunate. Food was quite ok. My baked potato had cheese on it even though it wasn't on the menu. If I had known this earlier, I would have returned my baked potato.

Stylish, American restaurant. The entrance is via a staircase. Parking is difficult, it's best to park at the train station. The location has a very large menu, the burgers and coleslaw are very tasty. The homemade lemonades are also recommended. MOE'S ROADHOUSE is very, very well attended, but unfortunately it is difficult to have a conversation.

Lovingly furnished and decorated, the food is delicious, the selection of drinks is good, the service is friendly and it doesn't take that long to be served. Overall we were satisfied, a dash of maple syrup would have been nice on the pancakes, which were just a bit dry after being sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, otherwise everything was good! DANGER!!! If you come by car, you have to register online for the parking spaces otherwise you will get a ticket! The QR code for this is clearly visible everywhere in the restaurant (including on every table) and we were also informed about it by the staff. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back!

My all-time favorite restaurant! Every time I eat here my evening just gets better. You can hardly see the shop in a small alley. As soon as you're inside, it feels like you're in a classic American diner. There are thoughtful decorations of film classics everywhere. The service is also incredibly good and the entire staff is incredibly friendly. The menu has a lot of choice and variety and offers everything from spare ribs and burgers to huge milkshakes. We recommend the Jack Daniels spare ribs, which are incredibly tender and simply taste great. The prices are fair and for €30-40 per person you can't go wrong with such high quality meat. Like I said, I have no complaints. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED👍🏼

We ate at Moe's and worked our way through the menu and tried different burgers 🍔 and also appetizers Point 1, it took about 20 minutes until we were served Point 2, it took another 15 minutes for the drinking to arrive, but it wasn't a big deal since we ordered everything in cans Point 3: I think the service is totally overwhelmed because there aren't enough staff Food finally came after an hour of waiting and then something to eat, just roughly from my stomach. For the money I prefer to eat somewhere else. Citizen bread, just plain simple citizen rolls, possibly from the Rewe. On the citizen there was 1 leaf of lettuce and 2 slices of cucumber There was no onion or anything else with it, there were chess fries that you couldn't eat because they were ultra spicy, they cost 4.90€ extra, no matter what you order with them, it also costs extra on the whole, unfortunately unfortunately concluded negatively for us 2 children 2 adults 140 euros for 2 citizens 1 child citizen 1 salad and mozzarella sticks that were almost burnt. Too bad there is 1 dip that costs 2 extra The ambience was positive and the American furnishings fit just right

I rarely give full marks - but Moe's Roadhouse deserves it! Large selection, whether starter, main course or dessert, tastes great and is not expensive. Great location and extremely friendly service staff - absolutely recommended!

Nice restaurant with a great ambience. There are enough parking spaces available at the restaurant. Anyone coming by car must register the vehicle at the table using a QR code, as the parking spaces are operated by an external company on behalf of the property management. There are many signs about this and we were immediately informed about this by the staff. The menu was extensive and appealing. There are 3 different citizen rolls to choose from. The inserts can also be freely configured. The food was served quickly and was impressive. Gladly again!

I took a group of Aussies to Moe's Roadhouse in Sept 2024, My group like the expierence but the night was very warm and we sat inside, would have been a perfect night on the outside tables (they were occupied) they did have portable aircons which sort of helped. A great location. My burger was absolutely top notch, as was the attentive and competent service. Went with 10 people. The food at Moe’s Roadhouse is decent and I recommended my dad to eat there. He was also very happy with the food. However, there is a major problem with the parking system. My father didn't know how to register the parking space and somehow lost it. Now we got mail that he should pay a parking fee of €35 because he was there for 6 minutes too long - instead of 30 minutes he parked for 36 minutes. I contacted the park service and even sent the receipt proving my father ate there. Nevertheless, our request was rejected and we now have to pay a €35 fine. Very annoying and disappointing - that's why only 1 star.

Moe's Roadhouse (Table reservation urgently required on weekends & large groups) +pretty 50-year-old restaurant +EC card payment possible +Delicious burgers & ribs +friendly service +great meat quality/fried perfectly medium +new menus and a few new chairs were added -For the ladies, only 1 toilet can be used for the entire restaurant -50 years of music is often missing -Shakes vary in taste depending on how/who makes them, there doesn't seem to be a prescribed recipe (quantity). - Sofas also need to be replaced, some have large cracks. Big point of criticism: Pancakes went bad and tried them again about a year later and they were still bad. What's going on there? Previously light and fluffy, garnished with icing, butter and powdered sugar (see picture) & now firm & unfluffy and naked, loveless pancakes placed on the plate without any decoration (see picture), the main thing is that the price of the toppings has been increased again. The waitress then advised me to order pancakes with love next time. Too bad. My beloved Bluecheese Burger was also removed from the range when a new menu was created. Too bad again.

Were here for dinner today. I can only recommend Moe's Roadhouse. American diner atmosphere, delicious burger salads and appetizers. Unfortunately we didn't try any dessert because it wouldn't have fit. We received very friendly service and felt comfortable.

This is what an American diner should be like! The food is absolutely outstanding! Large selection, top quality and a good selection of drinks. Only the cocktails could be better. The service was excellent. Fast, super friendly and accommodating. Can't be done better. The ambience is also good. Completely American diner style. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Burger experience with nostalgic charm from the 50s - good value for money A visit to this diner is like traveling back in time to the 1950s. The great chairs and sofas create a cozy charm, even if the daylight is a little lacking. The price-performance ratio is good and the burgers are a real highlight. The overwhelming omnipresence of BBQ sauce on the menu must be questioned; anyone who would rather avoid the slimy-sweet juice from overseas should look carefully when choosing a burger. Nevertheless: The burgers are enormous and tasty! The only downer is that you experience a little too much nostalgia in the toilet - the toilet paper is just lying on the floor. Still a successful place for a special kind of burger experience!

Delicious food. We had the XXL spare ribs and club sandwich. Everyone enjoyed it very much. One waitress was very busy. She was very nice and friendly.

The burgers are juicy, perfectly grilled and topped with fresh ingredients. The BBQ dishes are tender and packed with wonderful smoky flavor. Every bite was a delight! The ribs are particularly recommended – they literally fall off the bone. If you're looking for a really good BBQ and burger experience, you definitely shouldn't miss Moe's. I'll definitely be back!

Great food! The sandwiches were great and so were the chicken tenders. A little tip: a little more seasoning in the breading and they would be perfect.

There are two givens when it comes to German cuisine: hamburgers will be overcooked, and the center of a pizza will have a soggy crust. The burgers here at Moe's have all the potential to be really good, but they just cook the burger a bit too long, to the point that it is pretty dry. Service is really good, and the 50s U.S. roadhouse decor is interesting.

Very nice atmosphere, nice service. Unfortunately we saw how the chef prepared the food in a very unhygienic way. He was on the phone and picking his nose while he was filling the burgers and filling the fries into the containers 🤢 but the service took good care of the problem cared for. Nevertheless, we will not visit the place again for hygiene reasons

The best waitresses I've ever seen... Top top top Service, cleanliness, friendliness and everything else is a '20' on a scale of 1 to 1. The names... Pegah and Delfina. I would like to give 10 stars.

All we ordered (pancake, cheesy omelette and Texas bfast) aside from the burger are disappointing. It's not like an American roadhouse at all. The pancake tastes nothing like pancake, it's like a baked bread pudding that they drenched in syrup.

We had a burger and a potato with a salad. The potato was tiny, the salad did not taste good. The bacon on the burger was stringy, the avocado thing was not a good mix. Just DO NOT get a burger. Maybe go for the ribs. Also a bit overpriced for what you get, in our opinion. Service was ok but a bit slow.

Really a nice American style restaurant! We took two burgers (they were really big) and some chips with melted cheese on top, very tasty. Normal prices for truly XL sizes. From inside you can also observe the work being done in the kitchen, appreciate the working atmosphere, smiling atmosphere and super fast service! If you pass through Heidelberg and want burgers or typical American food, this is the place for you.

All in all it was great👌🏻👏🏻👍🏻 Moe's is a really cozy and nicely decorated diner. The price/performance ratio is absolutely right - everything that came out of the kitchen (we sat right there) looked super tasty and appealing. What we ate was absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh and tasted at a very high level. The cakes/brownies in the fridge looked delicious. The girls (waiters) were really very quick and did a hard job there - just a tray with food on it (food is served on a wooden tray) looked really difficult. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

My craving for grilled meat took me to Moe’s Roadhouse. As a starter I treated myself to onion rings with delicious salsa as a dip and as my main course I ordered the Babyback BBQ Classic. The food was served to me quickly and was very tasty! The service at the table was always quick and attentive. I'd love to come back!

Had dinner here today - it tasted okay and the servers were very accommodating. Unfortunately, I don't really like the ambience as it corresponds to a real roadhouse - my mistake. It's just like a roadside diner - only here in an old brick industrial park. Has its own charm, but not mine. What could definitely be improved are the sanitary facilities. For the offered and upscale price segment, in my opinion there should - no, must - be better quality here than sanitary facilities in the rustic style of a 70s backyard tank. And that's not meant to be derogatory, but rather descriptive. Finally I went back to eat - it was okay, but I was clearly missing the lettuce or more greens in the burger (Krusty). The fries were a bit too soft for me. The homemade lemonade has its own characteristics. Well on the way, I'll sum up overall.

If you want a REAL American hamburger and an ATMOSPHERIC experience, you MUST go to this restaurant. It was a very tasty citizen, I didn't want to finish eating so I could have longer time with the citizen and enjoy it more. I have NEVER eaten burgers that are so delicious. I was there for the first time yesterday and was immediately pleasantly surprised! The service was quick, attentive and courteous 🙂 Although a lot of guests/groups arrived shortly after me, I didn't really have to wait any longer to be served or to order dessert. I can wholeheartedly recommend the BBQ chicken burger and the cheesecake (but I canceled the strawberry ice cream with it because otherwise it would be too much for me 😅). Keep it up! I'll definitely come by again ✌🏻

Nice restaurant and the decoration is also great. I find the seats a bit old and not particularly comfortable. The food is really good and tastes delicious. Price/performance is a bit unbalanced, a bit too expensive. Overall, I can only recommend the store and will come back. You could also start a different campaign every day, such as Monday = Burger Day; Tuesday = rib day; Wednesday = salad day etc. You would come there much more often.

We could not judge the quality of the food because the attitude of the waitress was so bad that we didn't feel like staying. We asked a few questions and she made us feel like we were supposed to know the answers. Will never come back.

I ate the double smash BBQ burger, which was so salty that I had to immediately eat the rest. You couldn't enjoy it at all. And unfortunately I paid 14.50 euros for it. Disappointing.

We recently ate here for the first time. The food itself wasn't exceptionally good, but it was absolutely solid and the price was reasonable. But warning: the sour cream with the baked potatoes tastes very (!) strange. The cola, however, was completely tasteless. The menu explicitly says MezzoMix, but we either got a super cheap substitute product or the drinks were heavily watered down. This is absolutely unacceptable given the prices. The same applies to the typical diner benches, which are completely out of date. At first glance there are only a few cracks in the leather, but when you sit down you sink in so deeply that you're sitting like a toddler with the table at chest height. The staff, on the other hand, is friendly, attentive and responds to complaints (for example about watered down drinks) in an absolutely appropriate manner. The parking situation is as often described in the reviews: The owner of the property requires that guests register their license plate using a QR code, otherwise contractual penalties will be charged. However, this is pointed out to everyone when they come in and the restaurant even offers a tablet for guests without smartphones to book parking spaces. So I don't see any reason to be bothered by it. Ultimately, I would come back for the food itself. But unfortunately not the overall package with diluted drinks and the extremely worn benches - the prices are definitely too high for that.

Ambience, food and service, everything was great! I have been to the USA many times, to a variety of places, just this year again for 3 weeks. Conclusion: The best burgers are here! We also had a ribeye steak, cut correctly, 300g as stated and grilled perfectly rare. Plus quick, friendly and competent service. If we come to Heidelberg again, we will definitely go here.

Ambiente, Essen und Service, alles top! Ich war schon häufig in USA, an den verschiedensten Orten, erst heuer wieder 3 Wochen. Fazit: Die besten Burger gibt es hier! Wir hatten auch ein Ribeye-Steak, war richtig geschnitten, 300 g wie angegeben und perfekt rare gegrillt. Dazu flotte, freundliche und kompetente Bedienung. Sollten wir wieder mal nach Heidelberg kommen, gehen wir sicher hier her.

The ambience is of course subjective for everyone. Personally, I find the “American Diner” style extremely well adapted to the menu selection. We've eaten here several times and so far, everything from the food and drink has been perfect, apart from the steaks (if you requested medium, they came well done). The service is always friendly and courteous and polite even when the restaurant is full. The parking situation will be pointed out when you come in. Parking is available in front of the diner, but the car must be registered on a website otherwise a ticket will be automatically issued if you leave the parking lot after more than 30 minutes.

We were very disappointed. Went there because of so many good reviews. So the reviews are not entirely understandable. Everything in the standard fast food range and also served cold. For the money you can get much better burgers with better quality elsewhere. A pity

The food (steak) was great. The service was very courteous and friendly. When it comes to drinks, the service is just too slow and inattentive. My cocktail was very bad. The one with the meal was good though. A friend was thrilled with his mega burger.
