We got married here this month and it was much more beautiful, as we hoped 👍🏻👍🏻🥂🎉🍀✨💫💯💃🏻🌹🌹Lisa and her team made our wedding so beautiful and so loving, you can't find that anymore everywhere! She took over all of our decorations and also lovingly decorated the outdoor area with an open fire, furs and decorations. The food was very good, the service was very attentive and they made room for us so that we could dance unexpectedly. Of course it was more than just going out to eat💃💃Our wedding was beautiful and a really great day for us and our guests, who all had a great time!👍🏻👍🏻Thank you dear Lisa for this high level of commitment from you and your team, We will always remember this and will continue to be happy to come as guests to your beautiful restaurant 🥰🥰 Anja and Bine 🙋😊🙃🥂

Great Christmas atmosphere, friendly service, great food!

Was there recently for the first time in the evening - I would say the "motto" there is: "they constantly tried". Friendly and nice - but unfortunately that's not enough if you want to eat and drink something good... It took quite a long time for the drinks to arrive, even though it wasn't exactly all hell breaking loose (about 1/3 of the chairs outside were occupied). I had something from the weekly menu: steaks with fries appealed to me. Two pieces of steak arrived that were different sizes and thicknesses - the smaller and thinner one was just right, the other was basically still raw. I let it go back and fry again - after a few minutes it came back - then it was fine. My companion ordered a large salad plate with chicken breast strips. There were quite a few chicken breast strips, but where was the big salad plate? It wasn't big, nor was it particularly varied - a few leaves of lettuce... for just under 16 euros was a bit disappointing. Oh, and the baguette came 2-3 minutes after the salad. Nice location, drinks okay (had a non-alcoholic long drink that didn't knock me off my chair), (our) food: could be improved; Service staff: very friendly and helpful.

The burger was very good and the patties were homemade, the atmosphere was unbeatably Christmassy at the moment, cocktails were delicious... the service was nice and attentive, the food took a little longer, but despite everything we were very satisfied and will be back

Currently a special kind of dining pleasure. Decorated in Halloween style, MJs invites you to a cozy evening in a cryptic atmosphere and nourishes your body and soul. We had a very nice and colorful evening with great food, fabulous service and something to behold. I would love to come back here.

Slaughter platters without mustard...it's not possible...there are also small portions of mustard...I survived...but...

Wanted to have a drink outside. We had to get everything ourselves even though there was hardly anything going on and there were two of the ladies standing behind the counter

Very nice restaurant on the river banks of the Neckar. Food price and quality very good. Atmosphere very pleasant. Nice stop for what to eat or an early evening cocktail.

Update September 2024: We gave MJs a second chance... and now it's perfect. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, the location was beautiful. Only the waiting times are still a bit long. Nevertheless, we would love to come back! Original recession: We were very excited about the new restaurant in Schänzle as we were regular customers at S&P. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Despite there being few guests, we had to wait a long time. Now about the food: the vegetable casserole was unfortunately inedible, the fries were okay. However, the portions are far too small for the prices. I think we won't come back. It's a shame because the location is great. We miss the S&P very much!

We celebrated our wedding at the location. The entire planning process with Lisa was super uncomplicated. Everything worked so well on the wedding day. The service was great, the food was so great that our guests are still raving about it. The decoration was sooo beautiful too. Everything just worked out so well.

Convenience stall. Having 4 salad dressings to choose from is never a good indicator of quality. Extremely expensive for what is offered. Not again even though service was OK

Absolute insider tip! Very nice location on the river, especially at sunset very romantic with the lights. The shop is very modern and offers food, cocktails and much more. Staff very friendly! Be sure to try the tarte flambée and the chocolate cake - unbeatable! :)

The drinks were okay but when it comes to the food it's a complete disgrace. You had to pay extra for a few croquettes for 5.20 and sauces such as ketchup or others. The prices themselves are very overpriced for the small portions you get. That's why I decided to go to McDonalds because there I got a whole menu for the same money.

Staff running around in all sorts of things, no unity. Some people bring cakes piecemeal in cake containers.

Mixed. Depending on the food, it's okay, the service doesn't seem very professional and you sometimes have to wait an incredibly long time, although there is often enough staff there. There doesn't seem to be a real table numbering system, there's often confusion as to which table has ordered what and if a drink is empty you wait and ask whether another drink is wanted. It simply seems like workers who have little experience and who still lack an overall view... The other day, swearing from the bottle tasted like it had been shot. It's just about drinkable from the barrel. Basisinger would be the better choice. The ambience can be positively mentioned, the decoration and location are good, but the “lounge” outside is 30Eure goods which is incredibly uncomfortable. If there are sofas then something is worth it. The cocktails are the best way to go.

We wanted to eat and drink something there today, but the very unfriendly waitress in the white blouse treated us very unfriendly. If you want to eat something, you can't do it without a reservation. We were not even allowed to drink without eating. We have decided to avoid this location and not recommend it to anyone else. They don't need it. PS: If the lady doesn't feel like it, she should stay at home. Everything was great with the predecessor

Very nice location directly on the Neckar. Unfortunately my coffee was undrinkable. After complaining, I got a new one that tasted just as bad, burnt and bitter. I couldn't drink either. When I informed the service staff, I was told that the coffee machine needed customer service that was overdue. I had to pay for the coffee.

Very nice location, I stayed in the outdoor area/beer garden! Very beautifully designed - right on the Neckar! There are also a few parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant! Since I was there on my motorbike, I used a two-wheeler parking option/parking is subject to a fee - hourly = 1 euro! Service was attentive and friendly - questions about the food were answered very well! Food was very tasty and well portioned! The prices are absolutely right for the quality offered! Yes, I liked it! Will stay there again!

The terrace looks a bit untidy and uncomfortable. Food was good but nothing special. Service friendly, but a bit chaotic. Or maybe it just all came together...

MJs is definitely worth a visit. The cheeseburger in particular is really delicious. The restaurant is also a great location for private parties with a great atmosphere and great support and advice on decoration. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. There are delicious cocktails. Tables, food, outdoor area are immaculate. Only the floor in the restaurant, the toilets and the changing area could be a bit cleaner. But that's a very kind criticism that has nothing to do with the quality of the food. Big praise for this great location in the Städle, which is painstakingly and magnificently decorated for every celebration.

Nice service in a cozy atmosphere. There is a daily menu with delicious dishes that are not too expensive. For me, the price-performance ratio is right. The normal menu can be downloaded using a QR code and ordered directly on your cell phone.

Chef cooks taste neutral. Cheese spaetzle was catastrophic. No cheese taste just cream. Unfortunately, I had to throw up at home. Very unfortunate. Portions for 25€ definitely too expensive for this quality. Salad was 13€ but you can't get enough but it was more like a side salad.

Had a spontaneous meal there last night and managed to get a table despite many reservations. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Our burgers with a side salad were very tasty. Spanish red wine is also recommended.

Als Stammgäste im S&P waren wir natürlich sehr gespannt, was uns erwartet. Empfangen wurden wir von einem wunderschönen Ambiente auf der Terrasse, wo zwei Feuerschalen für eine schöne Stimmung sorgten. Das Restaurant wurde geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Und die Speisekarte ist klein, aber fein. Ich denke, da wird jeder was finden, was ihm schmeckt. Der Rostbraten war jedenfalls vorzüglich. Und auch den anderen am Tisch scheint es geschmeckt zu haben. Die Bedienung ist wirklich freundlich und aufmerksam. Was die Getränkekarte betrifft, hat man wirklich viel Auswahl, inklusive nicht-alkoholischer und alkoholischer Cocktails. Wer weiss, vielleicht schafft's irgendwann noch ein Barbera aus dem Piemont oder ein Nero d'Avola auf die Karte. Als Kunde mittleren Alters war mir die Musik etwas zu laut und die Strobo-Effekte fand ich auch nicht so angenehm. Aber das ist Geschmackssache. Macht weiter so und der Sommer wird euch belohnen! Nachtrag 27.10.2023: Am Sonntag waren wir im MJ‘s. Die jungen Gastronomen sind nun seit mehr als 1.5 Jahren dabei. Die eine oder andere Sache wurde angepasst, aus meiner Sicht zum Guten. Es ist schön mit anzusehen, wie sie ihr Herzblut bewahrt haben und weiterhin ein tolles und erfrischendes Angebot für die Gastronomieszene in Rottenburg bieten. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und gekonnt bedient. Sogar für den Junior gab es spezielles Besteck. Die Spätzle für den Kleinen waren so gut, dass ich mich zurückhalten musste, ihm nicht zuviel davon weg zu essen. Weiter so und viel Erfolg beim Horrordinner!

Wir gehen da sehr gerne hin !! Wen das Wetter schön ist , ist daß der richtige Ort für uns !! Kann ich nur empfehlen !!

Wären die Cocktails sind so teuer und dem Preis nicht entsprechend, würde ich eine deutlich bessere Rezession schreiben. Der Ausblick ist echt gut, macht einen Spaziergang am Neckar entlang im Schänzle

Sehr schön dort! Man kann gut innen wie außen sitzen mittlerweile gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Essen ist auch gut 👍

War lecker service war top ambiente sehr schön Nur das essen etwas wenig gewürz und das fleisch ein ticken zu durch entweder mehr würzen oder salz pfeffer mit auf den tisch aber sonst top wir kommen wieder

Tolle Lage direkt am Neckar. Gartenterrasse im Schatten besonders klasse bei heißem Wetter. War mit dem Rad dort. Sehr schönes Ausflugsziel mit sehr guter Gastronomie. Einen Besuch mit Einkehr ist unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Die Strandbar am Schänzle fand ich sehr schön. Für den kleinen Hunger bestellte ich mir das gratinierte Ziegenkäse ohne Ziege 🐏. Die freundliche Bedienung war dann auch so nett und brachte mir die Medaillons ohne die Ziege.🙃 Ich befürchtete, dass die Ziege mir einfach die Salatblätter weg essen würde. Aber so weit kam es zum Glück nicht. Trotz Kopfschmerzen und Liebeskummer wurde ich sehr nett bedient. Verbesserungswürdig: Diese Lounge-Sitzecken. Sie sind total ungemütlich. Die Sonne knallt da so rein. Ein zusätzlicher Sonnenschirm wäre übertrieben gut🌞🥵

War zum Geburtstag mit einer Gruppe hier. Reservierung hat geklappt. Tisch wurde für uns zusammengestellt. Burger top. Preise angemessen. Nett zu sitzen im freien im Park und Neckarnähe...

Leider war der Reis mit Ingwer mir zu scharf und Gemüse war echt lecker und ich finde die Getränke und die Speisen waren etwas zu teuer

Essen war gut. Nur das Bier (hatten verschiedene) war ein wenig lahm…würde mehr Kohlensäure vertragen und auch gerne 2-3 Grad kälter.

Man sitzt sehr schön am Neckar. Insofern sind das Ambiente, der Service und das Onventar tadellos. Ich hatte einen Salat mit Rinderstreifen, Das geht besser. Mehr als 3 Sterne sind dafür nicht drin. Preis-Leistung passt da nicht.

Schöner Biergarten mit kleiner Karte. Burger waren lecker, allerdings haben wir fast 1 Stunde darauf gewartet.

Wir waren schon einige Male mit Freunden und Familie zum Essen und gemütlich etwas trinken dort.Sowohl draußen, als auch drinnen ein schönes Lokal in Robu. Essen war gut,Preise sind ok.Reservieren vorab durchaus sinnvoll. Gern und jederzeit wieder👍
