Mittagstisch in Dresden

We attended the funeral, were undisturbed, and were able to say goodbye.

We went to the après-ski party there and really enjoyed it. 👍

My decision to eat here today was probably the wrong one. I decided it was going to be baked duck with sweet and sour rice. Well, the duck had absolutely nothing to do with baked goods; besides, half of it was fatty, and the other half was gristle. As for the taste, the duck tasted old and the rice tasted like nothing. I think paying €10 for this inferior dish isn't a good decision. My recommendation: go eat somewhere else.

Very tasty food at reasonable prices. Parking is available in the park.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. My goose was lukewarm and extremely dry, the red cabbage tasted of vinegar, the dumplings were clearly a pre-made product, and the gravy was just okay. For a chef, I would call it a complete failure. I was greeted by an Asian woman who spoke English. I wasn't aware that German is no longer widely spoken in Dresden. The hotel is apparently run by Asians, which suggests they are unfamiliar with German cuisine. The service was mediocre at best, but at least they seemed to be trying. All in all, the restaurant's relaunch can be considered a failure.
