Mischbar in Nürnberg

Unfortunately, first the drinks arrived incorrectly (cafes mixed up, large and small mixed up and normal cow's milk instead of the vegan version), then one person's food was also delivered incorrectly - went back to the kitchen and after 40 minutes of waiting, after everyone else had already finished, the bread arrived. Too bad! We were looking forward to a nice, cozy morning but after such long waiting times, wrong food and then a hangry mood, it was the last time here😣

After 20 minutes of waiting and several calls to staff, we were not served. Changes are necessary...

We were there last time and the lemonade tasted like water with syrup, although we gave them a second chance. We ordered hot chocolate and got milk with a piece of chocolate next to it. The food didn't taste particularly good either. The service wasn't good Waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

A very nice cafe with delicious dishes. Highly recommended for coffee and cake or for breakfast. The outside seating is also great for relaxing, because you're sitting directly on the Pegnitz.

Sadly today the experience I had was very bad. They have a sign to wait to get seated so we waited at the sign. The staff just ignored us even though they clearly saw us. After 10min without them even telling us that it will take some time etc. we just left. Honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had in Nürnberg.

Totally overcrowded because it's right at the transit point and really quite expensive... but a very nice offer and really tasty..

Service is very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is very nice and the mixing bar is also perfect for a mulled wine, by the water, under the heat lamps.

The Mischbar in Nuremberg is simply great! The drinks taste fantastic every time. Particularly noteworthy is the incredibly nice and courteous staff. This positive atmosphere makes mischbar a real feel-good place in the city for me. Absolute recommendation!

Food was really tasty. But the service not so much. The waiter came to order and that was it. We had to look for him for every subsequent order, just like to pay. It wasn't particularly busy and yet there was no staff presence.

The selection of vegan dishes is good and you can't say anything about the taste. The selection of drinks is also very good. Service is ok. However, when we were there we noticed how the service staff treated each other and that was an extremely harsh tone.

The store space and location promise a lot and invite you to visit the store! The outside tables overlook the river and the beautiful stone bridges, but there is also a lovely atmosphere inside, and the highlight is the sunny back area with the glass wall! However, it is unfair for the entrepreneur who has invested money and ideas in this space that the business is so poorly staffed! The waitress was really disinterested and came to take the order about 15 minutes after we arrived! The same thing happened when our group arrived and what's more, they got the order wrong! The highlight was when we wanted to pay!!! We signaled, went to the bar and asked to pay, but were again told to wait for the waitress in question to come and that she would be informed, yet no one came. Eventually we had to get up and find them ourselves to pay. I would like to note that she was really rude and without any politeness. Also, the table we sat at, like the neighboring tables, as we observed, was not clean! Finally, I would like to make it clear that I will give the store another chance as it deserves it and I am sure it will be a popular place as things are improved! I would like to note that I am the owner of a similar company based in another country and I am making these comments truly out of collegial interest!

You don't get a glass of tap water, even if you order a regular drink and food. The bowl was good.

Food was delicious. Coffee okay too. But when we asked if we could have tap water, the waitress said the tap water was dirty, which really irritated us. Do you also wash your cutlery with dirty water?

The two of us had dinner on a Saturday evening, we had the Fridabowl. It was very tasty, fresh ingredients, harmonious in taste and portions were sufficient. My husband also liked it and was pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly, he could bring the drinks quicker and be a little more attentive, but that's complaining at a high level. The ambience was nice and clean. We would love to come back and recommend it to others.

The food (vegetarian bowl) was good, but not outstanding.

Unfortunately, the food tasted like a ready meal and had no freshness whatsoever, and it was served cold. The waiter showed no interest in our complaint and left us alone with our dissatisfaction. Update: No alternative was offered!

EDIT: We ate here again last week and it was really good! Everything was perfect, we were very satisfied! The atmosphere by the river is nice, the staff are nice but unfortunately the curry was nothing. Almost cold and not salted enough. For the price, the size should also be adjusted slightly. Hardly any meat, but a lot of rice. But that's just my personal opinion. We'll try again sometime :)

Delicious breakfast, service very friendly.

Disappointing! I just bought a chicken curry for 14.70 euros at the Mischbar in Nuremberg and was unfortunately very disappointed. When I transferred the curry onto a plate at work, I discovered that it only contained six small pieces of meat, three pieces of zucchini and two pieces of red pepper. The rest was almost entirely sauce. The rice portion was really great, but the curry itself was so little that the price was absolutely not justified. This is really outrageous and I certainly won't be buying curry here again. I think the mixing bar itself is a great atmosphere, and I'm not usually picky at all. I've been coming for years as I work downtown. Unfortunately, the service is always very slow - regardless of whether there is a lot or little going on, or even if someone is free. It just keeps dragging on. A little attention, like a quick glance, a friendly “Just a minute, I'll be right there,” or a smile would work wonders here. It's a shame, you're cool people and could do a lot with a little more smiles and attention. And as far as the curry is concerned: I know it differently from you in the past.

Delicious bowl and great service even though it was very busy

I recently visited Mischbar Nurnberg and was extremely disappointed with the attitude of employees . When I politely asked if I could charge my phone, the staff responded in a rude way. I totally understand if a cafe has policies against this, but the dismissive and unkind attitude was completely unnecessary. Customer service should be about treating people with respect, and unfortunately, this was not my experience here. I won't be returning.

Unfortunately, during my stay, my drink was turned upside down on the terrace by a drunk guest (not me) and I was fobbed off with a non-alcoholic mojito in a plastic cup.

A good restaurant bar with very good vegetarian bowls. The restaurant has a covered terrace. The terrace is pleasant even if it is a little noisy.

Ice cream is very good but the wait staff does everything except serve you. Nobody wants to work there.

It's really a great restaurant, also with a nice location and facilities etc. but the service is really so mediocre 😭 The first time we waited at least 10 minutes between taking our order, getting a drink, etc. and there really wasn't much going on. And this time unfortunately part of my order was forgotten and again there wasn't much going on. It could well be that I've just had bad luck so far, but oh well 🥲 The waiters are definitely friendly and they taste good too (I've only had the smoothies so far). There's probably a reason for the good reviews :)

Our breakfast was excellent. Everything was very appetizing. My coffee Americano was a bit weak. Otherwise everything was to our satisfaction.

Went there for dinner for the first time yesterday... Service was quick Ambience outside by the water was nice The food...Chicken Curry Mango Chutney... Boring and tasteless... The churney was totally runny and unfortunately tasted nothing like mango... It was more like rice soup... Not my taste Edit: then I won't put mango in it...if it's supposed to taste like mango. And it wasn't creamy...it was runny like water...Hence the name rice soup from me...unfortunately the food was very disappointing...but good...maybe the cook had a bad day...

I had dinner there with my girlfriend and my husband and at a not too late hour. The watermelon lemonade tasted like pure sugar syrup with sparkling water and the stew a la Provence didn't taste like it was freshly prepared. Potatoes taste slightly sour and the beef is very tough. The flaguettes from my fellow travelers weren't worth the price either. It was not possible for me to finish the food. The waitress was very nice and tried to improve my bad experience by offering substitutions. Would no longer recommend.

We ate ice cream here on a sunny day. You are not served at the table. So I got the ice cream and coffee at the counter. Which took. 2€ a scoop of ice cream and really poor quality. You couldn't tell the variety by the taste. The only worthwhile thing is the location. 1 star for that.

Delicious smoothies and good coffee - the selection of dishes is good and varied. But there is still some room for improvement in terms of taste.

Unfortunately, the place has gone downhill. The salad and service used to be really great. Now I've been there 3-4 times in the last few months and each time it just wasn't worth the money or my time. The prices are outrageous for what you get there. If I had gotten a ready-made Aldi salad, it would have tasted just like the one here for 14 EUR! and the Aldi salad would have been 1/3 of the price. The service has also deteriorated. The waiting times in the restaurant and the stupid manner of the employees are also an indicator that you won't come back again... What a shame!

Outrageously expensive for the quality that was discovered afterwards.. dry. And tasteless. Unfortunately it wasn't an isolated case... will never order anything there again

I had a goat cheese salad that was simply perfect, with fresh vegetables and dressing as strong as just, enriched by fresh lemon juice

Nice atmosphere in downtown Nuremberg. Unfortunately, the service is slow and seems a bit clumsy and overwhelmed. When I ordered my food, my special request (without onions) was not taken into account and in terms of taste, I know of another mixable bar where the price-performance ratio is simply worlds better. In Nuremberg you get relatively little sauce on the salads for your money and the toppings could easily be twice as much given the prices. There is a good selection of vegan dishes, which I was very pleased about.

Wir haben uns über die schöne Lage am Fluss und alternative Speisenauswahl gefreut. Ernüchternd waren die Wartezeiten und die schlechte Qualität der Snacks- wir hatten ein Panini und ein Flaguette. Auf dem Panini schluckte ein völlig billiger fettiger Aufstrich jeglichen Geschmack des Gesamten. Das Flaguette hatte mit etwa der Hälfte geschmacklich etwas zu tun. Insgesamt bei unglaublich langsamem Service völlig überteuert

The food is delicious. It's very loud in the restaurant and the service is really bad. First they apparently forgot to take the food order, then two breakfasts took 45 minutes. It was also very cold in the restaurant because the service always left the door to the outside area open. Addition: I was there on March 16 at noon

We sat for 30 minutes without service, the man who served the room was totally not nice. I will never enter this bar.

I would like to recommend the restaurant - I always like to come here when I am in Nuremberg. Last time there was an incident while eating (gluten-free), but the communication afterwards and the courtesy were excellent, that's absolutely professional. In this respect, a good place for delicious food, especially the bowls are great!

Sorry but I've been here 10 times and this place just doesn't make me happy. It takes 10 minutes before I can order 1 coffee and another 30 before I can get the coffee. The service is not that good and the atmosphere is terrible.

Has the Chicken & Mango Wrap. More salad than chicken. Not bad in taste. The mint tea was delicious. It's way too loud in the store. The service staff was friendly.

Really great breakfast, thank you very much! We once had the Mischbar Home with extra scrambled eggs, an egg sandwich with avocado and the eye-opener. A little waiting time, but everything is freshly prepared, lovingly prepared and really tasty. Praise also goes to the service: the ladies were attentive, quick and extremely friendly. We'd love to come back, definitely with friends next time.

The coffee was of moderate quality to break the habit. The vegetables in the punch are fresh and tasty, but so-called. Grilled chicken meat consisted of 2 slices of pale chicken breast, where you could taste that it had been several days old and had the unpleasant aftertaste of having been reheated several times. The service was very friendly.

Vom Frühstück bis zu gehaltvollen, gesunden Salaten, Bowls, Suppen sowie Kaffee, Kuchen und einen leckeren Kaiserschmarrn steht zur Auswahl. Das Personal ist super engagiert und sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Toll sind auch Atmosphäre und Ambiente mit zusätzlichem Wintergarten und Palmen. Im Sommer ist es auch möglich draussen mit Blick auf die Pegnitz.zu sitzen.

Ich bin vor 14 Tagen zufällig mit meiner Tochter dort gelandet. Das Lokal hat außen Sitzplätze mit Blick direkt aufs Wasser, was schon sehr schön ist... innenbereich ist nett und freundlich gestaltet.... kleines Highlight es befindet sich im hinteren Bereich ein runder Wintergarten mit Glasdach.... da lässt es sich schön sitzen. Essen war super lecker... und meine Tochter war begeistert das es einen frisch gepressten Apfelsaft auf der Karte gab. Rund um sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Bowls und der Kaffee sind genial! Bin schon sehr lange Fan vom Konzept der Mischbar. Wurde hier bis jetzt noch nie enttäuscht.

Die Mischbar überzeugt mit ihrer attraktiven Lage mitten in der Stadt und einer ansprechenden Inneneinrichtung. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, jedoch lässt die Geschwindigkeit zu wünschen übrig – hier nimmt man sich Zeit.

Die Bowl war sehr gut und der entkoffeinierte Cappuccino einer der besten den ich bis jetzt getrunken haben. Sehr Heu empfehlen und Mitten in der Stadt.

Die Preise sind nicht ungewöhnlich für die Innenstadt. Das servierte Essen enttäuscht aber. Was warm sein soll ist kalt, eine Portion Frühstück reicht höchstens für ein mittel hungriges kind und alles wirkt etwas lieblos. Der Service war nett und aufmerksam. Die Lage und das Ambiente schön.

Ein gutes Restaurant mit großer Auswahl und schönem Ambiente

Zum zweiten mal heute da gewesen. Beim ersten mal haben wir lange warten müssen bis einer der Kellner kam. Da das Essen gut ist und die Preise ok sind wir nochmal gekommen. Leider auch heute sehr lange gewartet, Tische wurden neben uns abgeräumt, Stühle zurechtgerückt & serviert - man konnte nicht übersehen, dass wir warten. Nach 30 Minuten sind wir gegangen. (der Laden war mäßig gefüllt, deshalb kann das nicht auf den Stress der Kellner geschoben werden!) Nie wieder

Leider nicht mehr das Gleiche wie früher. Bei jedem Besuch hab ich das Gefühl der Service ist überfordert. Desweiteren hatte ich ein Falafel Wrap bestellt. In diesem war eine Falafel und "1 kg Salat". Da der Wrap warm serviert wurde, hat es leider nur nach aufgewärmten Salat geschmeckt. Und wem schmeckt schon aufgewärmter Salat, ausser in einem chinesischen Wok?

Lockeres Ambiente, freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Essen. Die Atmosphäre ist nicht spießig, nicht woke und für jeden passend. Das Essen hat eine gute Qualität und sehr guten Geschmack. Die Auswahl an Kuchen (und deren Geschmack) ist toll, ansonsten auch sehe große Auswahl.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt leider nicht mehr. Ich war früher häufiger dort, vor allem in der inzwischen geschlossenen Location Nähe Rathenauplatz. Da gab es den Salat noch in zwei Größen. Inzwischen ist es die Menge des kleinen zum Preis des großen. Jetzt kann man streiten ob man von Salat wirklich satt wird, aber wenn man danach noch Hunger hat, läuft was verkehrt. Dann lieber zwei Euro mehr verlangen..
