Minh-Trang in Berlin

By far the worst Vietnamese restaurant I've ever visited. The service was incredibly unfriendly. On top of that, the duck was incredibly dry. When I asked why, she apologized and gave me the same cold duck again. I've never experienced such audacity!

My favorites are Pho Bo, Bun Cha, Bun Bo, Nem Cuon, Bun Nem, and Che Thap Cam; they all taste very good. I haven't tried the Chinese dishes.

Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of the food. The peanut sauce had a rather bland flavor, and the chicken had a texture that made me think it had been sitting around for a while.

The table was sticky, the sticks were greasy, the food: pork dumplings smelled strongly of pork, the beef in the pho soup was very hard to chew, and the broth was so greasy that it was shiny and the noodles were barely visible through the fat bubbles. The homemade lemonade only tasted of ice and sugar. This place is not for connoisseurs. The food and ambience deserve one to two stars at most. The grandmother who served us was quite prompt (four stars).

For me, this is by far the best original Hanoi Pho in Berlin – especially on Kantstraße. The broth is clear, light, and tastes exactly like what you'd expect from your mom's home: authentic, balanced, and full of depth. The service staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive – you can immediately feel the love that goes into making this. For me, a sign of a good Asian restaurant is when real locals are in the kitchen and many Asians are eating there – that speaks volumes about authenticity and quality. Admittedly, the restaurant's design is simple and unspectacular, but the warm, intimate atmosphere more than makes up for it. Not every restaurant needs to be elaborately decorated – it's often the small, unassuming restaurants that achieve great things in terms of taste. For comparison, I personally find other well-known names like Madam Ngo to be overrated. The broth there is dark, salty, and lacks fresh herbs like bean sprouts, cilantro, or Thai basil – essential for me in pho. My recommendation is clear: If you're looking for authentic pho, this is the place to go.

As always, it's excellent. Whether you need something quick or are having a larger party, the service is excellent and attentive. We enjoy our meal here and will always be happy to return.

The food was really great. The crispy duck was very tasty, the vegetables were fresh. What's more, the service was really nice.

For more than 25 years, when I go to Kantstr. am, in this great and small restaurant. Some service staff are still the same. It impresses with its authentic dishes. I don't know of a better Vietnamese restaurant, although you shouldn't expect too much from the interior. It's simply furnished, but I go there mainly because of the very good food and the reasonable prices. I would also give more stars for the food and service. You can't pay with a credit card there, but you can live with that.

By far the best restaurant for Phoin Berlin, with no frills and very fair prices.

I was disappointed in the pork pho - the only reason I came to this place. The taste was not great and the meat was not tender, although good service.

I ordered 2 portions of baked chicken breast with curry sauce and rice for 2 people. It was tasty but none of us were full. We could eat the same thing again but then it wouldn't be worth it.

The shop is getting so old. The food is okay, but not particularly attractively presented. Price performance is okay. The staff didn't leave a motivated impression on me either. Even when the invoice is issued, there is no query as to whether the guest was satisfied with the food.

For me the best Pho in Berlin. Authentic, especially the more traditional Vietnamese dishes further down the menu. Simple decor, you come here for the dishes, not the ambience. My go to for over 8 years.

I recently visited Minh-Trang restaurant and ordered a Pho. Unfortunately I found a piece of metal sponge in my soup. Such a lack of hygiene is extremely worrying, but the restaurant did not take the matter seriously and did not even apologize. Instead I was asked to pay full price, which I find very unreasonable. In such a situation I would have expected a sincere apology and at least a refund or some form of compensation. As a customer, I expect a restaurant to take hygiene and customer satisfaction seriously, but that wasn't the case here. I definitely won't be coming back and can only advise other guests to be careful.

I'll keep it short, it tastes good, service is nice, prices are okay. It's the usual familiar food presented a little differently. You can put it simply and simply. Unfortunately, nothing that would make a second visit interesting.

Eat in Berlin~ There are many Vietnamese immigrants in Berlin, so there are also many Vietnamese restaurants. This Vietnamese Pho on Kant Avenue is very delicious, and the taste is not inferior to the Kam Li Pho I had in Ho Chi Minh. It is recommended if you want to eat Asian food in Berlin. Come here to satisfy your craving!

The pho soups are extremely delicious - although it's almost summer now, it's even easier to imagine on cold winter days. Very friendly service and reasonable pricing. You can also agree with the amount of vegetables and meat offered and their quality. I think it's good every time. It's been around for a very long time. An old-school Asian with no frills that I have overlooked for far too long.

I always order through Lieferando and apart from the fact that the food is always good, they have the nicest, sweetest and friendliest driver. And that has been the case for years. 👍❤️

I found it really tasty. Very nice service. It was a bit dark in the restaurant, possibly due to the scaffolding at the window. I didn't hear any construction work. I'll go there again or have something delivered, What I found negative was that the tea with ice cubes was too expensive.

I love the Pho there, it must be an old family recipe of the owner with chefs who know their craft. And the service from the women is always friendly and quick. They also expanded the offering next door a few years ago. Everyone will find something to suit their taste, including vegetarian options. Bon appetit!

Mich hatten due durchweg guten Rezensionen in dieses Restaurant gelockt und muss festhalten, dass ich den Hype nicht teile. Das Essen und der Service waren ok, aber kein Grund zum Wiederholen. Das Restaurant selbst war lieblos eingerichtet und durch einen mangelnden Windstopper zugig kühl. Die erste Seite des Menüs findet man in fast jedem Chinarestaurant, dazu eine Sushi-Karte. Die Viet-Küche nahm weniger Platz ein.

In realtà è più un ristorante cinese che vietnamita. Porzioni molto abbondanti.

Das Minh Trang , von außen unscheinbar, wären fast vorbei gelaufen, aber drinnen sehr netter Service und super Essen geschmacklich voll lecker und der Ingwertee war der Beste den ich je getrunken habe auch sehr gut anzuschauen. Macht weiter so, wir kommen wieder.

Zum Essen kann man eigentlich immer nur positives sagen. Aber wenn hier mal ein Fehler passiert wird man von der Chefin nicht nett angesprochen. Erwarte ich anders. Mehr Freundlichkeit bitte!

We spent more than 10 euros each person but we weren’t still able to pay by card as the lady behind said that only would accept the whole amount to be paid with card. It’s 2023 this Berlin’s obsession with limited amount for card or no card establishments have to end.

가격이 저렴한데 맛도 딱 그 정도다. 쌀국수 면이랑 고기는 맛이 나쁘지 않다. 하지만 쌀국수는 국물이 핵이고 따끈한 국물 생각날 때 먹으러 오는 건데 국물맛이 심심하고 깊은 맛이 전혀 없으면 평범한 곳이 되는 거다. 짜조는 평범하고 건조한 스프링롤이다. 맛있는 짜조에서 느껴지는 감자맛과 새우맛을 기대하면 안 된다.

We visited the Minh-Trang because of an almost hymnic review on RBB Kultur, a Berlin radio station, and found the praise not justified. (The review was broadcast on 1 September 2023.) We had the full range of summer rolls (aka 'Glücksrollen') which tasted just like – well – summer rolls and equally average was the Bánh Bao. The biggest disappointment was an uninspired mix of pineapple and undercooked celery stalks with a little beef (or was it chicken?), which the RBB reviewer had singled out as 'well crafted and professionally seasoned'. It was neither. – The service was friendly, but somewhat inattentive, and – glancing through the menu – the prices are slightly below those charged by other Vietnamese eateries. We do not plan to repeat our visit.

Bon petit restau à Berlin J'ai commandé un Phô, très bon. Les restaurant est petit, pas franchement accueillant mais la cuisine est bonne. Le verre d'eau à 2€ par contre, je m'en serais passé si j'avais su avant 😅 Et juste prévoir des espèces, ils ne prennent pas de carte bleue.

Die Pho ist eine der besten die ich kenne. Einfache Aufmachung, aber sehr gute Küche zu zivilen Preisen. Komme immer mal wieder gerne.

Ich komme seit über 25 Jahren her. Das letzte Mal war vor rund 11 Jahren. Die Kellnerin ist seit jeher immer die gleiche und hat mich auch nach so langer Zeit wieder erkannt. :-) Hier hab ich zum ersten Mal Pho Suppe gegessen. Daher komme ich auch immer wieder her.

Man konnte im Minh-Trang gut sitzen, es war nicht übermäßig besucht. Mein Reis mit Riesengarnelen war ok, nur waren die wahrlich keine Riesen und den Reis bekomme ich mit meinem Reiskocher leckerer hin. Aber davon abgesehen war es gut und meine Erwartungen wahrscheinlich zu hoch.

음식은 그렇게 뛰어나지 않습니다. 음식 속 내용물이 너무나도 부실합니다. 국물도 짜고 개인적으로 별로입니다. 재료가 너무 부실해서 과연 이 값을 왜 내야하는지 모르겠어요. 결제 시, 카드는 Ec카드 밖에 안됩니다. 미래 고지해주지 않아 수수료를 내면서 돈을 뽑아왔습니다. 그런데 계산시 잔돈을 제대로 주지 않았고 이에대해 이의제기를 하니 “이거 가지고 왜 그러냐?”라며 조롱을 하였습니다. 기분이 굉장히 안좋고 자기들끼리 지기들 언어로 비웃으며 얘기하였습니다. 참고로 저희는 독일 계좌가 있어 계좌로 송금해준다고하니 “나는 독일 계좌가 없다”라 하였습니다. 아무 불법 체류자가 아닌가 싶습니다.

Essen nicht immer von Spitzenqualität, aber solide, und wenn man Glück hat, dann bekommt man hier die wohl besten Sommerrollen in Deutschland.

Wir sind hier öfters. Gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Einfaches Ambiente, aber es schmeckte bisher immer sehr gut. Bedienung immer freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Kann nur meine persönlichen Erfahrungen wiedergeben, dass ich dort seit ca. 15 Jahren Stammgast bin. Muss aber betonen, dass ich dort grundsätzlich nur die selben Speise nehme wie Pho, Hähnchensalat (Goi Ga) und die Sommerrollen. Und seit 15 Jahren schmecken sie alle noch hammer gut.

Immer wieder ein Genuss!! Aber über das Stadium des Geheimtipps ist das Restaurant (oder die Restaurants: es gibt ja neben dem "Original" seit einigen Jahren auch das Sushi-Restaurant) sind sie ja längst hinaus zu wachsen;) . Warum, glaubt ihr, ist der Grund, warum die Auslastung so deutlich durch asiatische Gäste unterzieht ist? *Daumenhoch*

They sure make a delicious Pho soup. The problem is it's almost no meat. I ordered a Pho soup with double the meat for 15 instead of 10 Euros - and got served a regular portion. Even showed it to the waitress but she said it would be weighed and that it was a correct (double) portion size. So I'm not going there again ever, they're not trustworthy! Used to be my favorite place, too. What a shame

It's ok, nothing outstanding. The competition for pho is fears in Berlin. But it is a decent bowl of soup. I couldn't pay with my credit card which is in the year 2023 a huge bummer.

Sehr spät bekamen wir noch ein gutes Essen. Anstatt Morcheln waren nur Champignons im Essen. Damit konnte ich leben.

SCHLECHTER LIEFERSERVICE Die bestellte Pho Bo kam erst eine Stunde nach der Bestellung und einer telefonischen Mahnung, war lauwarm und musste aufgewärmt werden.

Suppe Nr.547 (Mit Sriracha und Hoisin Soße) ist die beste Pho-Suppe in ganz Berlin.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und empfehlenswert. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Tolle Atmosphäre. Wenn man will, kann man auch Bestellung aufgeben, wenn man nicht zu weit weg wohnt.
