The food was cold at first, but it was corrected immediately and new ones were served and there was something on the house.

The food was original and delicious at the same time. The restaurant is beautifully located, the service is courteous without being stuffy. We felt comfortable and would love to come back. Recommendation!

For me it has been an absolute insider tip in Karlsruhe for many years. A special, incredibly well thought-out weekly menu. The taste is always absolutely top class! Salva is a born chef and host.

Very good and very imaginative cuisine. A lot of it is gluten-free and very good. The chef knows exactly what he is doing. An absolute must for anyone who lives gluten-free!

Nice restaurant, nice service, great terrace

VERY good Italian cuisine. Service friendly and accommodating, yet relaxed. Loft atmosphere with high ceilings but lots of velvet, very cozy and elegant at the same time. In terms of audience and musical accompaniment, it is ideal for baby boomers.

We were there for a concert and it was really great. The whole team was nice, the atmosphere was right and the evening was really nice.

Great atmosphere with a terrace above the substage in the old slaughterhouse. Clear menu with good and tasty dishes. The price-performance ratio is right. The service is also good. So worth a visit.

Were here for the first time yesterday and were initially very impressed by the stylish ambience, good furnishings and the beautiful terrace. We were grounded pretty quickly because the first announcement - without a greeting - from the waitress (I'll just call him "Pirate") was that there was nothing left to eat. Good to know, but that wasn't our intention after 9:30 p.m. The next point was that the stain on the table was “just water”. It's also good to know that a more motivated service person would probably have eliminated this straight away. The "friendliness" of the pirate continued to the same extent, without us having to do all the points from ordering, paying ("on the run" - no, but we had to get to the train station on time to pick up) right up to card payment ("so you have to then we'll have to go in and what's more, this has just been documented." I want to explain this in detail. There is an interesting memo on the toilet about "awareness" and mutual respect for good cooperation, but the basics of being a host and being friendly are being trampled on by at least one employee. It's a shame, but based on the reviews and impressions of other waitresses, it seems to have been an isolated case. The “ambience” rating here is of course only based on the above-mentioned impression and of course we can’t say anything about the quality of the food.

The ambience of the restaurant is really excellent - stylish and cozy, so you immediately feel at home. The food was also good, solid and tasty, although not exceptional. Unfortunately the staff was visibly stressed and could have been friendlier. Overall a pleasant experience, but with potential for improvement in service.

I can only agree with Marie's comment. We didn't even make it to the phone; no one ever answered. So we were lucky and were escorted out again in a rather rude manner, with the advice that we could have made a reservation. When you pointed out to the lady that this was unfortunately not possible, you were insulted in an even more unfriendly manner and also called her first name. Unfortunately we can't say anything about the food. A pity!

I've been there before, the food and service were great. Now I wanted to make a reservation again and was treated so rudely on the phone that I canceled the table again. I understand when service staff are stressed and can't always be incredibly friendly. But you don't have to actively become unfriendly and insulting either.

Ate very tasty. Had risotto with squid. Beautiful terrace. Reservation advisable!

Definitely over 100 points. We had a celebration there yesterday and everyone really. All guests were thrilled. The team is great Salvatore is great, the location is great there is nothing wrong with it at all. So if you're planning a celebration, I'd suggest this, please try it out, it's incredibly great. Very nice restaurant with a small live stage and a very nice terrace.

Went to Minestrone for the first time yesterday and what can I say: it's a shame that we only became aware of it now. We haven't eaten as well as last night in a long time - we were completely thrilled. Salvatore and his team cook with so much love and passion, we would have loved to eat our way through the entire menu - and best of all: the menu changes weekly. This is only topped by Anthony, who offers an absolutely brilliant service with his style. We will definitely come back and we can give an unreserved recommendation. P.S. to all those affected by celiac disease, including my wife: minestrone is “gluten-free heaven”. The chef is affected himself and therefore knows perfectly what is important. From the homemade gf baguette rolls to the main courses that are either naturally gluten-free or offered gluten-free, everything was simply amazing.

I wasn't there for dinner, I was at a concert. Nevertheless, I can confirm that everyone there is very friendly and the location is in a very well-maintained condition overall.

Nice shop, the waiter was a bit pushy to make sure everyone eats something, but also made an effort, the food was very tasty, even though I only ordered 2 crostini

Unglaublich leckeres und ausgefallenes Essen mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir gehen oft und gerne hierher. Preisleistung ist auch stimmig. Die Terasse ist mein Highlight

Wir (6 Personen) saßen auf der schönen großen Dachterrasse. Sehr schön! Und das Essen wirklich ausgezeichnet. Alle hatten etwas anderes bestellt und wirklich alle 6 Speisen waren sehr lecker, frisch und gut zubereitet, abgeschmeckt und sehr schön angerichtet. Sehr große Auswahl glutenfreier Gerichte. Und sicher glutenfrei! Ein Glücksfall für alle Zöliaker. Es gibt eine wöchentlich wechselnde Speisekarte und eine dauerhafte. Dazu noch Tafeln mit Tagesempfehlungen. Hier wird noch richtig gekocht! Nicht nur warm gemacht. Klasse! Und die Preise sind wirklich moderat. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und macht dadurch die fehlende Professionalität dreimal wieder wett. Daher von mir volle Punktzahl!

Me gusta mucho este sitio, he estado dos veces y he salido satisfecha. La comida es de calidad y tienen platos mediterráneos diferentes que no se encuentran fácilmente en otros lugares en Karlsruhe. También me gusta que tienen una carta fija y la otra varía según la semana. El servicio podría ser más atento pero es correcto. Volveremos.

Minestrone Das Minestrone liegt im Osten von Karlsruhe. Ist ein Italiensches Restaurant in dem es aber die etwas andere und außergewöhnliche italienische Küche gibt. Sehr interessant. Das Essen ist sehr sehr gut, sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist auch nicht typisch aber toll, mal was anderes. Der Service ist super, die Bedienungen bzw. Das Personal sehr nett. Parkplätze gibt es sehr viele. Man kann das Minestrone aber auch sehr gut mit der Bahn aber auch zu Fuss erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Gruß Alexander

Eins vorweg; das Essen ist gut. Aber ich kann die allgemeine Begeisterung nicht nachvollziehen. Die Einrichtung ist nicht wirklich stimmig, teilweise altbacken, teilweise kitschig. Man bekommt keine Untersetzer zu den Getränken sodass der gesamte Tisch vom Kondenswasser feucht wurde. Was man den sehr mitgenommenen und ungepflegten Tischen auch ansieht. Die Bedienung schien sehr von sich überzeugt zu sein und sollte sich etwas zurück nehmen. Außerdem sollte man sich nicht hinter die Gäste stellen wenn man deren Bestellung aufnimmt. Auf Nachfrage war es nicht möglich Knoblauchöl zu bekommen. Sowas kann man, sofern man Wert auf zufriedene Gäste legt, in 2 min anrühren. Schade. Alles in allem ein netter Abend aber ein paar wirkliche no gos !

Alles perfekt. Das Rustica mit Hummus und Steinpilzen war nur einfach zu groß und mächtig. Das habe ich leider nicht ganz geschafft.

Besser kann Pasta nicht schmecken! Ob mit Pilzen und Ochsenbäckchen oder Oktopus (Tageskarte). Auch der Salat dazu sehr fein! Danke!!!

Bei Salvatore ist es immer ein Gaumen- Erlebnis, hat uns heute Abend auch sehr gefallen. Service , freundlich mit Witz, Extraklasse, und traumhaftes Panorama.

Gutes Bier, wirklich tolles Essen und jederzeit aufmerksame Bedienungen. Was will man mehr?

Ambiente super schön, Terrasse mit Ausblick über den Schlachthof und zum Schloss Gottesaue, traumhaft. Personal sowie der Besitzer super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist traumhaft und lädt zur einer kulinarische Reise der Geschmacksnerven ein. Ich kann die Minestrone Bar nur empfehlen.

Nach langer Zeit ein Abend mit 3 Deutschen Bands. Lecker Wein und ein gemütliches sitzen im Café

So, wie manche sich freuen, dass Salva wieder in der Oststadt ist, weint man seinen köstlichen Mittagsgerichten in Durlach so manche Träne nach. Unser gemeinsamer Nenner ist: es ist eigentlich egal was man isst, es schmeckt alles lecker - selbst Sachen, die einem noch nie geschmeckt haben.

Das Essen ist einfach nur traumhaft und die Location ist ebenfalls sehr gelungen...

Schönes Restaurant. Gute Portionen, leckere Gerichte. Preise sind fair. Parkplätze sind auch genügend vorhanden.
