Mikado in Rosenheim

We arrived at 3:30 pm. Since the conveyor belt sushi was only open until 4 pm, we told the visibly annoyed man at the entrance that we would be back at 5 pm and asked if that was okay. When I asked if I should make a reservation, he simply walked away, clearly annoyed. We then wasted an hour and a half because we were really looking forward to it. We came back at 5 pm, and of course, he no longer had a table for us. Very disappointing.

It was delicious!! The staff was also nice!!! I go here 2-3 times a year since I live further away!!

We were very satisfied! The food was super fresh and delicious, and the selection at the sushi conveyor belt was fantastic. The service was friendly and attentive. You should definitely reserve in advance, as it's very popular – that way you're guaranteed a table. Highly recommended! 🍣

Everything was clean and tidy, friendly and attentive, even when clearing the running sushi plates. We always had room to take more from the conveyor belt. All in all, a lovely evening. We wanted to go to Running Sushi. When we walked in, we were "kicked out" half an hour before closing time. The man was very rude. Apparently, they don't need customers to pay here.

The food tastes much better than it looks. It's truly amazing what they conjure up in that tiny kitchen. Highly recommended. Not for gourmets, but above-average for this kind of food. They also serve Singha beer. 😉🍻

Food was fantastic. Restaurant let down by the most surly unfriendly and rude waiter I have ever come across. Not sure how he keeps his job! Unfortunately the buffet was full so we had to do a menu order.

This review refers exclusively to the behavior of the staff. We can't comment on the food, as we didn't eat there. I was out in Rosenheim with my pregnant wife (eight months pregnant) this afternoon, where we took a tour of the old town. Unfortunately, the heat, especially combined with the long standing, took its toll on her, and as we were under the arcades at the Mikado, her circulation collapsed. She could barely stand, but suddenly she turned chalk white and couldn't see anything because everything went black. I was able to guide her to a chair just in time, where she then collapsed. The rest of the group was, of course, briefly startled and immediately asked if everything was okay with the baby. But we were able to calm her down and send her on her way, knowing that the tour was over for us for the day. Then the Mikado staff came for the first time! In any case, you have to give them credit for this: less than a minute after we sat down for an employee to come and bring us the menu. A more attentive waiter could have asked at this point (my wife was completely exhausted and white as a sheet, heavily pregnant, sitting in a chair, me kneeling beside her, digging a bottle of water out of my backpack) if we needed help, or at least offered us a glass of water. None of that happened; the lady came, placed the menu on the table, and left. Two minutes later, another waiter came and asked if we wanted something to eat. I, still kneeling next to my wife, who was still dizzy and even breaking out in a cold sweat, apologetically told the waiter that we weren't having anything to eat, but that my wife needed to rest for a while because she was having circulatory problems. This waiter didn't even think to offer us help; he was just a bit surprised that we didn't want anything to eat and then left. Then, after my wife had been sitting for maybe five minutes, and I was kneeling beside her the whole time, a third waiter came over. He also asked us directly what we wanted to eat. I told him, as I did his colleague, in a friendly and apologetic tone that we weren't eating, but my wife needed to rest for a while. The waiter then said something like this: "You can't occupy the seats here! If you don't order anything, you'll have to go! You're welcome to go over there (points to the adjacent cafe), but you have to leave here!" To clarify, because at that moment we simply couldn't believe what this guy was saying to us. A heavily pregnant woman with a clearly visible, large baby bump was sitting in a chair, pale as a sheet, with white lips, covered in cold sweat, and obviously in a bad mood, her husband kneeling beside her. And at that moment, this waiter couldn't think of anything else to do but try to chase us away because we were taking up seats. Even if the restaurant had been full, this behavior would have been at least extremely unfriendly, but practically a failure to render assistance. If we had actually left when the waiter asked us to, it could well have happened that my wife's circulation completely collapsed, she fainted, and crashed awkwardly onto the cobblestones with her baby in her belly. That would have been the responsibility of the waiter in question... The real joke, though, is that the restaurant was only half full outside! There were probably eight other free tables! Why anyone would treat other people like this in a situation like this is absolutely beyond me. We hope the restaurant owner sits down with this employee and has a serious conversation about first aid and humanity. The Mikado should definitely be careful, as they can quickly build a reputation with employees like this.

Today, I witnessed a scene outside the restaurant that horrified me: A young, obviously pregnant woman apparently had circulatory problems due to the heat and sat down on a chair outside the restaurant. Her husband, concerned, was looking after her. Then the restaurant's waiter appeared and asked her to leave or sit in the adjacent restaurant. There were plenty of free seats! This kind of behavior borders on failure to render assistance and is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! If this is the "Asian" style of this restaurant, then I can only recommend one thing: DON'T GO!

We took a fried duck with peanuts sauce and rice it was quite good. But BAD service especially during the payment, the waiter put us 10% tip on the bill without asking us how much we want to give and if we want to and he doesn't reply when we wanted to know what is this supplement. Finally he makes us pay the true price and take back violently the cookie fortune that he was about to give us...

Parking garage is nearby, warm food was very tasty, very wide selection, sushi was also ok, not comparable to a real sushi restaurant, but still good, we would go again, we were definitely full 🥰

I have never had such bad sushi. The salmon smelled and was not fresh. I complained to the staff but there was no apology and I still had to pay 10€ for a few rotten dishes. I will never come back. The service attitude of the staff was also very bad.

I was visiting Rosenheim and thought I could give it a try. When my companion and I went into the restaurant, they wanted to position us at the long table. Since I'm a bit wider, that would be a bit uncomfortable and we asked if we could sit at a table for four. People responded with annoyance and rolled their eyes. What I can't understand, however, because the whole restaurant was empty. We then got the table and I asked if the sushi band had more special items, since in the evening it is usually like other running sushi restaurants. The response was annoyed again and I felt uncomfortable. The food was okay but not great for the price. The sushi rolls were not rolled properly, especially the inside out maki fell apart when you grabbed them. The taste wasn't really good either, as I'm used to with sushi. I decided to stay away from salmon. But the warm dishes upstairs were tasty and good. My conclusion: If you want to go there to eat sushi, I wouldn't recommend it. The dishes on the menu are much better, I think it's enough to satisfy your hunger. But I wouldn't go there again just because of the annoyed waiter.

The best running Asia far and wide! Very good selection! Everything is freshly prepared! Therefore always very well attended! Table reservation is definitely necessary! The location is also ideal in the middle of Rosenheim's pedestrian zone!👍

I went for a buffet, it was great. We didnt make reservation in advance but waited for ca. 10 minutes until a a table was arranged for us.

It presents itself as a Japanese restaurant, but it's predominantly Chinese. No vegetarian food on the lunch menu. When I asked, I was rather annoyed and offered a single dish, which was then served with meat sauce. Then I was told that the sauce was purely vegetarian, but that it imitated the taste of meat. Well, thank you! The meal was charged in full. The unfriendly waiter's colleague at least brought me two small spring rolls as compensation. That gets me a point.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food on offer has declined significantly in recent years. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio no longer fits. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and children are welcome

The staff is friendly and the food is tasty and varied, but sometimes it takes a while for the dish you want to arrive again. In manchen Sushi waren nur rohe Paprika eingewickelt. Mehr verarsche geht nicht. Für diese Frechheit zahlt man mit 2 Personen und 3 Getränken 65 Euro.

The two of us were there for dinner on Tuesday September 3rd, 204. There wasn't much going on because the autumn festival was in Rosenheim at that time. My girlfriend wanted crispy duck and wanted to sit outside on the terrace. So we thought we would give the Mikado a chance. Unfortunately it was a failure. We ordered red wine which was very warm to drink. When I told the waiter he said he knew. I asked him to bring us ice cubes - which didn't help the taste. My friend ordered the duck, which was anything but crispy - rather warmed up. I had a Kung pao vegetarian. For both dishes the sauce was soggy, inedible and we didn't like it. When I told the waiter, he would put the plates away without saying anything. After that we were still ignored, it was only 5 times when the waiter was outside that I was able to make myself known and ask for a bill. We will definitely never go there again.

The two of us went for running sushi in the morning (€15.90 per person) and ordered two large waters for €4 each. While we ate the empty plates were regularly cleared away but otherwise the service was not good. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink and the staff was also very unfriendly. We didn't see a smile either. When we settled we should pay €43.90. I thought that was a bit too much, but I didn't think anything of it at first. My fiancé then said that they had charged €4 too much, so I went back in and asked another waitress about it. She showed the bill on the screen and I saw that a tip of €4 had already been calculated. Our waiter then came forward and immediately knew why I had come back. He immediately took out his wallet, even though he didn't really know what was going on, and gave me back the €4. What a disgrace!!! Plus, the food didn't really taste particularly good. The sliced ​​fruit was good! We were usually happy to go there but after an event like this we won't be entering the store again!

It's more the experience than the quality of the food that justifies a visit here. For the price I don't expect frozen chicken nuggets and other ready-made products. Nevertheless, you can eat well here and, as I said, it's fun to take your food off the conveyor belt.

Were back in the restaurant today for a long time, it's shocking how bad the quality has become, it should be renamed Vegetable Sushi, the seating is too close, the staff is unfriendly, the prices for drinks are excessive, we won't be visiting this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not good and today the waiter debited a higher amount than the bill from the card (seen account movement online). An impudence, apparently wanted to improve the tip. Refund received after complaint. Really audacious and bordering on fraud! Never again

Zentral gelegenes Restaurant, bei dem man je nach Wetter im Freien oder drinnen essen kann. Ich hatte dort bislang zweimal sehr leckere warme, vegetarische Mahlzeiten von der Speisekarte (nicht das all-you-can eat vom Band) und kann als Nachtisch Sesambällchen und Kokosbällchen empfehlen, auch sehr lecker und etwas, das man in vielen asiatischen Restaurants leider nicht bekommt, weil sie recht aufwendig zu machen sind. Gute Portionen und freundlicher Service. Eine Freundin war auch mit dem Sushi, ebenfalls a la carte, sehr zufrieden.

Habe das Running Sushi nicht probiert, aber Sushi von der Karte und ein Tagesgericht waren super - frisch, gut gewürzt und wirklich lecker und das zu absolut akzeptablen Preisen. Die Bedienung war flott und freundlich - ich kann mich auch da den negativen Bewertungen anderer Gäste nicht anschließen.

Unfortunately, prices are not calculated based on child age, but rather based on size. So my 10 year old daughter paid the full price because she is over 1.55m. We were there at 11:30 a.m. and got a spot. Since there is also a time limit (1 hour 30 minutes), it would be advisable to reserve. The food is very good, whether soups, fried foods, food, sushi...
